Marty could barely see through her tears as she ran through the woods to Todd's house, but she didn't need to see, as the years of finding solace in his bedroom had permanently ingrained it's location in her mind.

She climbed up the ladder and opened his window and before she knew it she was in his arms.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Todd asked as he held her closer as she whimpered.

"Luke's gone and it's all my fault," she sobbed. "Michael kicked Luke out because he's so dam possessive of me," Marty explained.

"It's not your fault. You didn't do anything wrong baby. Michelle, you can tell me anything. I know that Michael hurts you just like my dad hurts me. I just want you to know that I'm here ready and willing to listen anytime that you want to talk."

"I appreciate it, but I can't talk about this with you or I'll be forced to go away."

"I'm never going to let him or anyone take you away from me," Todd whispered as he kissed her.

"I'm tired," Marty whispered as the kiss faded.

"Well, then let's go to bed," Todd stated as he handed her one of his t-shirts.

She went into his bathroom to change and brush her teeth and when she walked back into his room, Todd was already lying in bed. Marty couldn't help but blush as she looked at Todd's bare chest.

"Come here baby, I want to hold you," Todd whispered as he patted the spot on the bed next to him.

"I love you Todd," Marty whispered as she climbed into bed and kissed him.

"I love you too," he said as the kiss faded. She laid her head on his chest and fell asleep.

XOXOXO

"Todd, why is your door locked? You better be getting ready for school or there will be hell to pay," Marty heard Peter yelling as she opened her eyes and looked at the clock.

"Shit, we overslept," Todd whispered as he looked at Marty.

"Todd, you better open this door in ten seconds or I'll break down the door," Peter continued to rant.

"You have to go," Todd whispered as Marty quickly grabbed her clothes and headed out the window. There was no time to change, she would have to do that when she got home.

"I'm sorry sir, I overslept," Todd said as he opened the door and looked into his father's stern face.

"You better be sorry you little bastard," Peter shouted as he back handed him. "I pay good money so that you could get an education. You better be ready to go in three minutes, because if you're late to school, you won't be able to sit for a week," Peter threatened as he stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

Todd looked out the window, but there wasn't any sign of Marty. He prayed that she would get home before Michael discovered that she was missing.
