Ok its been over a year since I said I would update this story and I'm so so so sorry! A lot of things happened and took the majority of my time! So here's a chapter and I will try to get the next chapter out
chapter 8: Aziens death .
"This situation has become critical. as a result of recent events, the thirteen court guard squads are now short by one Lieutenant." explained the head captain Yamamoto in the captain's meeting. "Obviously we can no longer afford to leave these matters in the hands of lower rank officers and members. Subsequently no disciplinary measures won't be taken against Ichimaru for his earlier independent actions"
"Thank you sir" grinned Gin.
"Furthermore, senior officers, including lieutenants shall hear by be allowed to carry their zanpatou at all times! with full war time usage of their powers"
"They're allowed to carry their zanpatou at all times?" questioned captain Souskin
"Full release as in war time eh? I couldn't be any happier" replied captain Zaracki.
"Ha! if someone hadn't allowed the ryoka to escape in the first place, none of these measures would be necessary" replied captain Kurosuchi.
"Now now, what's the use in talking like that?" replied gin.
"Anyway its fair game now, just the way I want it heheehe..." grinned captain Zaraki
After a short silence, Captain Yamamoto spoke up again " everyone! let u declare an all out war against the ryoka!
Kyoko was outside the barracks looking at the stars. she kept thinking about Renji, the Ryokas and Rukia.
"The Ryoka defeated lieutenant Abarai! Then they're a lot stronger than I imagined! but my question is; why are they here?" she suddenly felt a familiar spiritual pressure. she turned her head to see captain kuchiki ten feet away from her looking at the night sky. kyoko quickly turned away. How can this day get any worse?!
her heart started pounding against her chest 'W-why is he here?! there's no way I'm going to say anything to him especially after what happened earlier today! Wait! but what about Lieutenant Abarai?! Will he be discharge?!' kyoko turned her head to Byakuya to only to see that he's still staring at the night sky. His face expressionless as always. Kyoko, trying to remain calm and keeping her spiritual pressure as low as possible; turned around and headed back to her room. "I hope I don't get a scolding for not greeting him..'
next day
it was a peaceful morning until...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
the lieutenants' ran to the source of the scream. "Momo! momo whats wrong?!" cried izuru. "Momo please"
Momo kept staring up so izuru did the same and sees a gruesome discovery. "it cant be!" hanging up on the top of the building was a corpse of captain Azien, with his sword pierced through his heart. "…...CAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPTAAAAAIN AAAAAIIIIIZZEEEEEEEENNN!" cried momo
"H-Hes dead?!"
"He was murdered?"
Momo couldn't stop staring at her deceased captain. her body couldn't stop shaking with disbelief. She slowly walked forward to the tower "H-He cant be dead...you cant be...you cant...oh captain Azien...WHO DID THIIISS?!"
"What's all this racket so early in the morning?" everyone turned to Gin Ichimaru. "Oh that, yes it certainly is a tragedy." Momo can only stare in horror at the 3rd squad captain and remembered Hitsugaya's warning:
"Listen to me Momo, be careful dealing with squad 3, especially..."
it felt like time was frozen for Momo. and she can only focus on the 3rd squad captain.
"If you ever see captain Azien go out walking alone..."
It hit momo like a ton of bricks. All she can think about her captain's murderer. "IT WAS YOU!" Momo cried. she unsheathe her sword and tried to attack captain Ichimaru but was blocked by the 3rd squad lieutenant. "Izuru...stand aside" ordered Momo
"I can't do that, I'm the lieutenant of squad 3. No matter what reason, I can not allow anyone to raise their sword to my captain." Izuru replied.
Gin smirked and turned to walk away. Momo wont let him get away.
"He's a murderer Izuru, let me go"
"You know that I cannot" he replied.
"Stand aside! ill kill him!" momo cried
"Let it go!"
"CANT YOU HEAR ME?! I'M TELLING YOU TO STAND ASIDE!"
"CANT YOU HEAR ME?! IM TELLING YOU TO REMEMBER YOUR PLACE!"
Momo had enough of this and left her no option but to release her zanpatou and nearly hitting captain Ichmaru. Izuru was shocked that Momo would go to this extent. "You dare release your zanpatou here!? How reckless." Momo didn't care anymore, all she can think about is killing her captain's murderer.
"Have you lost your mind Momo? You must never confused public nd pivrate matter leutiendant
"Very well then, you leave me no choice. since you are now a threat... I must eliminate you."
Izuru released his zanpatou. "Raise your head up and prepare to die!" both lieutenants' where about to attack when captain Hitsuguya came and interfered. "Back away now, both of you" he ordered "Toshiro..." Momo replied.
"Place these two under arrest" ordered Hitsugya. "Wa-wait a minute!" protested momo. "Momo! at a time like this you attack against your own?! Especially when your first priority should've been to get captain Azien body down from up there" scolded Hitsuguya.
Momo close her mouth and turned to the corpse of her captain. She felt ashamed and turned away.
"I will report this to the head captain, get these two out of my sight! Lock them both up." ordered Hitsuguya.
The rest of the lieutenants took both lieutenant Izuru and Hinamori away, leaving Hitsuguya and Ichmaru alone. "thank you squad ten captain. Sorry you had to waste your time with one of mine."
There was a moment of silence till Hitsugya replied. "you know gin, I believe that, just now you were about to kill momo"
"now what-ever are you talking out?" questioned Gin, still smiling like Cheshire cat.
"Play innocent if you like" replied Hitsuguya. "but I'll tell you this: if you allow momo's blood to be spilled, I promise you I'll kill you."
Gins smile never faltered.
"oh how scary! But I suggest that you keep an eye on her, you don't want any misfortune fall upon her."
The death of captain Sousuke Azien's spread throughout the Seretei, the soul reapers believe the Ryoka did it but don't have solid evidence. thing are becoming more complicated and Rukia's execution date has been coming close as time goes by. Ichigo and his friends are facing challenge after challenge trying to reach to the white tower. And the worst part is:
No one knows that the whole situation is slowly tearing the order of the 13 quart guard squads apart.
Yeah...thats all I have I know I know im sorry! Ill try to come up with another chapter! I need to figure out on how to get Kyoko more into this story and less writing up the whole episode! XD
oh! and also, i received a couple of comments by a guest user saying about how i pissed them off about not finishing my other stories and i should respect those who stuck by me with these old stories and they were just...mad. and i get that, i know how you guys as readers feels when your fav. story stops updating cuz the writer just forgot bout it, is too busy or just lose interest in it. but i also have to put myself in a position as a writer as well.
u guys (including myself) don't know what writers are going through in their lives. i had to stop writing years ago cuz i had a family crisis going on. I had to be a somewhat of a mother figure for both my siblings (yeah thats how bad it was) then the crises ended, Then college came and yadda yadda yadda... so by the time i gotten back into , the interest of writing was... gone. believe me i tried to get the feeling and inspiration back but i gotten a big fat BLANK! heck its a miracle im able to write THIS story! guys again, i'm VERY SORRY for not updating the other stories. the guest user said i should just deleted them to avoid disappointment from the readers but honestly i don't know if i want to. i kinda like o keep them as mementos you know? i'll see was happens but until then: ja ne!
