Fred and George stood still and tried to recall everything they can think of about prophecies. After a minute of thought they started to speak.
"Prophecies are things that can influence someone's destiny," began George.
"They are created by actual seers." States Fred.
"As I said, they can influence someone's destiny, so it's not very reliable." George waved his hands around a bit.
"There is a rumour that there is a whole prophecy department at the Ministry." Said Fred.
Dumbledore nodded and gave a grim smile.
"You are mostly correct. A prophecy does change ones destiny. Or it could influence more then one person. I have recently gathered that there was a new prophecy predicted by an old friend of mine Sybil Trelawny —"
"-wait.. Trelawny?" George laughed.
"As our teacher for divination?" Fred also laughed.
Dumbledore smiled. "The one and only. As I said, I was visiting Sybil this morning when she started to act weird...Well, weirder then usual. That was when she predicted her prophecy. This prophecy concerns the both of you." The headmasters face was not happy or sad or angry. He seemed to look apologetic. He stood up and walked over to a cabinet and waved his hands over it. A figure of Trelawny appeared and the room was soon filled with a raspy voice.
"As time can tell, two of the same face can change fate. Two can make the future a better place. Two can avenge what had happened. Two can ally with the dead and grow up together. Although there will be losses of those they love dearly. Two of the same face can change fate."
The headmaster walked back and sat behind his desk. His face was tired and looked old. The twins stood stock still, they didn't dare move or otherwise they would collapse. There is a prophecy about them?
"As I said before, a prophecy changed ones destiny. I'm sorry to say but you may have very well changed something while being here. This could mean that someone back hoe is gone." The headmaster bowed his head and closed his eyes. "I'm so sorry."
The twins looked at him with wide eyes. They then dropped to the floor and started to sob. The sobbing grew louder until there was sounds of muffled crying that emanated from them. The twins were sitting on the ground, hugging each other. Their parents had always said that during the war, losing someone is heartbreaking, knowing that you could have stopped it is worse. Now they knew what it feels like to lose someone without knowing if they're gone or not and because they were the ones that were sent back.
"You are excused from classes, Fred, George." The headmaster got up to the cabinet and closed it. The twins stood up and walked over to the door before saying "thank you," together and walking out.
Classes were still going all over school so it was silent. The twins walked in silence and didn't say a word until they got to their dormitory, because if they did, they would start to cry again.

The Marauders were sitting in the Great Hall eating their lunch. While they were eating their lunch, all of them were keeping an eye out for their favourite twins.
"Are you sure they don't have anything planned for today?" Peter eventually asked. The others nodded their heads.
"Not that I can remember. Even if some of their pranks are surprises, there is always a different air about them." Remus told them. They went back to eating their food.
"They weren't in class either, were they?" Sirius asked. All of them shook their heads.
"Are they alright? Maybe they're in the hospital wing or something." James reasoned. The others nodded and got up. "Hang on, we may as well get stuff for charms." James then led the way up the staircases to Gryffindor tower.
They walked into the deserted common room and climbed up the staircase to the boys dormitory. Remus pushed open the door and stopped. The others peered in to see the twins huddled together by the window, staring off into the distance. They didn't even seem to notice the four boys come in.
Remus was about to say something when James stopped him. Remus looked over to see James with a sad expression, shaking his head.
"I know that look." James whispered sadly. "It was the look that I had when I lost my grandparents last year." He casted his eyes down. "They've lost someone close to them too." The others saddened and James walked over to the twins. They seemed to register the Marauders being there but still, they didn't move. "If anything happens, we're here to help." James told them before getting up and leaving. The boys got their stuff and walked out of the dormitory, closing the door with a thud.

"Should we tell them?" George asks Fred as they sat huddled together under a blanket.
"Why not, we've already changed something so why not just change it for the better." Fred said blankly.
"We could give Harry his actual parents. Maybe even some siblings too." George managed a small smile. "He does deserve it, the poor hippogriff." Fred chuckled weakly and nodded.
They sat in silence for a while longer before George runs his hand through his hair and got up. He offered a hand to Fred.
"Come one, let's get it over and done with." George told Fred who grasped his hand and pulled himself up. They nodded at each other and headed to the door.
There were few people on the common room that afternoon as everyone was probably in the Great Hall. Nevertheless, the twins found who they were looking for sitting by the fire.
[Sorry about the very very long wait. I'm on HOLIDAY and there's not much wifi where I am, Thailand. Especially in the hills, where I am. Hope you enjoy it. I'm gonna start writing again but not regularly. Hope you stick with me.
