The night was warm and filled with her moans. Ashia would later be embarrassed about it , but tonight, Crixus was a different man. He was sensual and soft, tender and firm. He was no longer the beast, claiming its mate, but instead he was a man, pleasing his woman and drawing out her pleasure long into the night. Ashia was delirious and in complete ecstasy with the Gaul deep inside her, there was no greater thing for her than making love to her Titan. But alas, all too swiftly the sun rose and their night of passion ended. There was still much to be done in regards of training their men and seeing them to proper skill in order to wage war against Rome.

Ashia ducked beneath Crixus' sword and kicked him hard in the stomach, making him pause momentarily to grunt as he clutched his abdomen. She twirled the blade in her hand, flashing a smile at him before attacking. He easily ducked beneath her swing and wrapped her in his powerful arms.

"Your skill continues to improve." He grunted as she struggled.

"As it should, when being trained by a god." She smiled and kissed his lips.

He released her and placed her back on the ground. "Remember to stay on the attack."

She nodded and prepared herself to attack again. They spent most of the morning sparring and training, both themselves and testing the mettle of their men that were quickly gaining skill as well.

Ashia retired to her room after the midday meal and reoiled her armor for the night raid. She was admiring herself when Crixus suddenly appeared behind her.

"Venus come to earth." He wrapped his arms around her. "Your men are preparing to leave. Where do you go?"

"We received word of a caravan of slaves taking route near here. We would free them and see them join our cause."

"And swell your ranks." He said.

"If they should wish it."

"Spartacus will soon consider you rival."

She shrugged. "So be it. When the Romans crash upon our heads, I would have men and steel raised to impale them. I must go." She turned to leave but he grabbed her wrist, spinning her and kissing her fiercely.

"Return to my arms, without harm."

"We shall see." She smiled and turned as Adon arrived to inform her that the men were prepared to leave.

The caravan was larger than first presumed, but Ashia still had the greater numbers. Her men had been itching to spill Roman blood for many days and she wasted no time initiating the attack. She lead the way, slicing through Romans with ease and showering the earth with the blood of her enemies. Her men, her wolves fought as one, striking through the Roman defenses that they tried to muster against the sudden onslaught.

The captain proved a challenge, but not so much so that Ashia could not defeat him. She let him live and let him watch as his soldiers were slaughtered like sheep.

"We are victorious!" Ashia said, dragging the man through the throng of rebels. "More Romans will fall to us before we are stricken from this world. Soon, all of Rome will tremble at the sounds of the wolf pack resting on their door, waiting to go for the kill."

"She-wolf!" The men chanted.

She smiled and turned to the captain. "You, from what province do you hail?"

"C-capua." He answered.

"Excellent. Take a message to Glaber. He has received many of the same warning. Spartacus is not his only, neither his greatest concern. I am the She-Wolf, remember my name so that he will tremble as you utter the words. The She-Wolf howls for his blood. Now, go, before I carve it into your carcass and send it to him."

The man was quick to get to his feet and take off down the road.

"Strip the bodies of weapons and armor. Release the slaves and gather them together." She said to Adon.

"Ashia!" Kuros rushed to her side. "Come with me." He lead her to a wagon where a single man was chained from head to toe. "We found him, guarded by 20 men alone."

Ashia tilted her head at this. "Open it." Her order was carried out and she climbed inside the cage, looking the man up and down. From what could be seen, he was of slender build with rich brown skin and chiseled features. His eyes were covered and a bit was in his mouth, he was chained like an animal. He had dark hair that was messy yet oddly appealing. The egyptian removed the bit out of his mouth and he moved his jaws.

"What are you called?" She asked.

"Angelus."

"From where do you hail?"

"Greece."

"Why are you chained in such a manner?"

"Because I will kill everyone I see."

"Well, that won't do." She removed the cover over his eyes and he blinked several times before looking her up and down. "Were you a gladiator?"

"Yes. You are the She-Wolf." His voice was deep and his entire chest shook as he spoke.

"I am." She turned to Kuros. "Release him."

"Ash-"

"Do not argue with my orders. Release him. He will be given choice, just as the others shall." She climbed atop a wagon to address the near 50 or so slaves that had been released. Most of them were female, but the men appeared strong and hardy. "All of you, are presented choice. A gift that the Romans did not bestow. I have released you from your shackles, and in doing so, give you a choice. Join me, fight in my name, fight for the She-wolf, for your freedom and your brethren still beneath Rome's heel. Join me, and see Rome crumble. That is your choice. Join me and fight, or leave now."

The slaves murmured amongst themselves, looking around at the assembled rebels. Then Angelus stepped forward, rubbing his wrists.

"Should I wish to slaughter more Romans, I would join you?"

"Yes." She said, tilting her head.

"Then fuck the gods, I am with you."

She smiled as more of the slaves joined her cause. There was one man and a few women who decided to take their own chances, but the rest quickly followed the Greek.

"Then you are slaves no longer! You are free men and women. Strike your collars from your necks, the chains from your bodies and the fear from your hearts. For one day, Rome will fall. They will to the hands of those they considered slaves. If we are to be slaves, then let us be slaves of vengeance, for every Roman that lives and breathes shall taste the steel of our swords!"

The men burst into cheers and she climbed down. They stripped the caravan of food, weapons, armors, metal, any and everything that would one day prove useful. Most of the men were wary of Angelus, though his thoughts were firmly upon the woman that now commanded them.

Ashia lead them back to the temple and quickly realized that she would need more room to comfortably house her growing number of followers. Spartacus and Agron watched her return but said nothing. Nothing needed to be said.
