"…Aren't you entering the matches today, Mistress?"
The tough-as-nails commander of the slavers jumped slightly, rattling her isolated desk as Sir emerged into the small circle of light that emanated from her solitary lamp. "Hm? Oh, good evening Sir."
"Morning, ma'am."
"Is it already?" She shuffled the papers and sighed. "That explains why she passed out no matter how hard I kicked her." She pushed the unconscious body of Nidalee beneath the desk slightly with her foot.
"May I ask, what you were doing, with such a foolish decision?"
"Watch your tone." Miss was suddenly standing behind Sir. "I will NOT be treated like some incompetent summoner, not even by you, Sir."
"My apologies, my Mistress… But, what WERE you doing all night?"
"Looking over those three's papers… The longer I think about them, the tighter this little knot in my chest gets. Our… champion of interest excluded, of course."
"You mean you're actually worried?" Sir's surprised showed through even his eternally armored expression.
"Not in the slightest! Don't assume your own boundaries!" Miss started up, staring hard at Sir for a moment before sitting back down heavily. "It's simply… Here, just look at this one." She tossed him a sheet of paper with Seth's picture at the top. He was, unsurprisingly, flipping off the camera with both hands.
Seth: The Explosive Courier
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 130 lbs
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair: Wild dark brown
Weapons: Twin Short swords and a plethora of explosive traps
Notable Skills:
Anarch leap: A flying jump that clears the foe, planting bombs on the way by
Tempered Anarchy: He taps into some trance state to move much faster and be more accurate
Anarcic spring: A tripmine that he seems to plant without visible effort.
(Note: steal a sample to help with diffusion of those left behind all over Piltover)
Anarchy Tempers: the laying down of an entire minefield in front of Seth.
(Note: DO NOT LET ZIGGS HAVE SEAFOMIUM, NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE BEGS!)
Other notes:
Extreme caution should be taken when dealing with Seth. He seems to be more volatile than Jinx herself. His level of respect for laws only goes as far as it gets him money, and he seems enamored with the phrase "I do what I want!" Also, we have had to offer large stocks of bacon to him in trade for him not running BETWEEN the trees in the jungle and obeying our set clearings.
Sir glanced back up from the sheet. "Seriously?" When Miss nodded, he started to laugh harshly, waking the leopardess. She immediately sprang up, smacked her head into the desk's underside with a yowl, and then muted herself in Miss's pussy. "I can't even take this guy seriously, Miss!" Sir laughed. "He's just… Out there."
Miss pushed another parchment across the desk to him. "This might wipe the smirk off your face then." This one was adorned with a photo of Belia flexing her muscles. The photographer had clearly had other ideas about what the focus of the shot should be, though.
Belia: The Red Rage
Height: 7' (10' whilst in her Rage state)
Weight: 450 lbs
Eyes: Teal (the pupils become catlike when she is fixated or angry)
Hair: Ruby red (begins to glow when she is angered, pulses more rapidly and violently at higher tension levels)
Weapon: Belial Edge (made of unknown material, though it has proven to be indestructible by any means we have tested otherwise)
Belia is an exceptionally formidable combatant. Her massive greatsword is swung with inhuman ease and flexibility, and her proficiency with the weapon is even superior to that of the Grandmaster-at-Arms. Her natural upbringing for brutal combat supplements her incredible physical might, allowing her to thrive in the heat of battle. The more she fights, her already otherworldly strengths become permanently stronger. In her Enraged form, her powers are only made more devastating and frightening. She is known to have the capability to make a well-built man completely explode with just a single bare fisted strike, and her agility rivals that of our fastest champions.
Notable Skills:
Belial Edge: Not only boasts indestructible durability, it also possesses a sharpness we have only heard about in lore. It can fell most creatures in a single broad swipe, and all who are slain rupture in bones and blood, acting as a makeshift shrapnel. Enraged, Belia has the additional strength and agility to score several devastating attacks in but a moment's time. A brutal driving dive serves as the coup 'de grace of choice for her, and mysteriously the blade seems to rapidly cut until impact with the ground, even though the blade is used to drive the opponent and herself to the ground swiftly. Curious...
Bloody Geyser: Belia smashes the ground with a Rage-focused punch, causing a geyser to erupt from the point of impact and outward in a wide sweep. Enraged, this only becomes far more dangerous and potent. This geyser of Rage energy seems to be able to cause damage to anything.
Primal Driver: A ferocious leap from the massive barbarian, sending anyone caught in the impact toppling over. The frightened and surprised faces of her victims only fuel her thirst.
The Red Rage: The name we have given for Belia's Enraged form. A ten foot tall, lioness-barbarian hybrid. Her each and every move is lightning quick, monumentally strong, and she seems immune to any form of disabling. Belia has been documented to refuse transforming to this state unless she has no other choice, as she seems unable to fully control it. However, from other documents from Noxus, the Freljord, and other various reliable sources, she is unstoppable whilst Enraged. EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN SUMMONING/ENGAGING BELIA. AT THIS TIME WE HAVE NO MEANS OR KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO STOP HER SHOULD SHE BECOME ENRAGED. (Summoners, see the recent 'Mortimer Amendment' of the Summoner's Code.)
Sir tossed the parchment back, frowning. Even his armor was looking slightly pale. "Mortimer Amendment?"
"Mortimer antagonized her into inducing the Rage while he was summoning her. The resulting mental energies killed him without even leaving a body behind to give to his family."
"She killed a summoner through the summon link?!"
"Indeed. Her power will be… interesting once we attain it."
"Are you still so sure we will be able to?"
"Of course. She still suspects nothing, so this will be quite easy."
"How about our personal friend?"
Miss started to hand another parchment to Sir, but a light on the wall glowed into ruby brilliance. They both glanced at it, Miss looking worried again. "I certainly hope I don't have any important matches today…"
"A bit more tired than you wish to admit?" Sir chuckled, before a hard slap cut him off.
"I can handle myself quite well, Sir. Do not overextend your privilege. Let us be off at once. I will finish my explanation later."
Skye strode out of the testing chamber, black leather wrapped around him. He was dressed exactly like Lord Scorpio had been the previous night, minus the blade along his hand and arm. He paced over to his team for the match, leaning sleepily on Belia's shoulder. "Morning, Belia… That was a long night."
Belia, on the other hand, was leaned lazily against the wall while sitting on a bench, her catty eyes alight with the thirst for more battles. She simply never seemed to run out of energy. Belial Edge in one hand, her beefy fingers on the other drummed restlessly against her knee as they waited. She turned her head to face Skye upon feeling his head make contact with her shoulder, raising her free hand to move her thick hair from under it. "Tired already?" her thick, primal voice answered, "No can pass if no have stamina." Her response held a playful note to it, and her lips curled into a smirk.
"I have plenty of stamina!" Skye protested. "It's just the effects of not sleeping all night. I'll be right as rain in no time. You don't need to worry about me lacking energy."
"Tell me about it. Last time you and Jinx got going, I didn't get to sleep for the whole damn night." Seth rolled his eyes pointedly at the two, casually whittling a block of seafomium into the shape of a bomb.
Jinx sauntered over from the main sleeping quarters, doing her best to shake what little ass she had as she walked, watching Skye closely. "You ready for this, bitches? Our match starts in a minute." Just behind her floated Nami, looking like she was almost trying to not be noticed. The juxtaposition between the flirting, wiry girl and the shy, quiet woman with breasts larger than Jinx's head was amusingly arousing. "Come on, let's get this pain train goin' and rip off the brakes!
Without waiting for a reply, she turned and pushed past Nami to get to the main hall, deliberately trying to shake her bony ass at Skye, who couldn't help but look, before shooting a glance at Belia, hoping she hadn't noticed.
Belia stood and stretched on her tiptoes, her tail extending fully behind her as a wide yawn caught her at the peak of her stretch. "Belia tired of waiting! Think can wake Belia early and make wait? Much wrong!" She beat one of her monstrous hands against her sturdy chest thrice, a powerful and horrifying shout erupting from her lips. Her hair, surprisingly, did not begin to glow, but her pupils were catlike and dangerous.
The main hall was swarming with summoners and champions alike, trying to shove each other out of the way to get a better spot to view the upcoming match. As Skye moved past Belia to try to figure out where they should be, three of the summoners broke away from the group. The one in front pulled back his hood to reveal shockingly blue eyes and a horribly unkempt beard. "Nice to meet you, Skye. I'll be in charge of your summoning today. The name's Otter." He held out one hand, shaking Skye's.
To the right of Otter, an unrobed summoner with mane-like oak brown hair and an eyepatch stepped to his side and hailed Belia. In a leather jacket without a shirt, ripped jeans, and black combats, his one remaining eye of a deep gray caught Belia's attention. "They call me Lion, mighty one." His gruff voice was calm, yet held a regal tone to it, "I will be overseeing your summoning this battle."
Belia tilted her head to the side slightly, considering him. He was not dressed the part, yet she could sense his power as a summoner. She nodded gravely to him once, respectfully, her eyes not leaving his one remaining. "Belia greet you, summoner." The barbarian's voice was calm in return, unable to help but feel like she had seen or met him somewhere before...
The third summoner was in jeans and a black t-shirt, grinning at Seth. "Tintalor. You do what you want?" Seth grinned and nodded, a gesture Tintalor returned instantly. "Perfect! Let's get moving!"
"Wait a second, what about our summoners?" Jinx demanded.
Belia grunted at Jinx's words, turning her attention on Otter. "Yes, we told fight would be on Rift! Five against five!" She held up all her fingers on both hands, emphasizing with her primitive sign language.
"About that…" Otter started, when Tencent's voice rang over his.
"Skye, the high summoners have come to a decision about your trial by combat. To prevent your fight being carried by those champions already in the league, you will be forced to fight using only those who have already allied themselves with you, in a three-on-three battle for your freedom." There was confused muttering all around the hall. "We have prepared pre-chosen rooms for all champions to prevent fighting while watching the match. All champions not fighting please return to your room for your viewing booth assignments, all summoners please stand ready. That is all." He turned away. "You are no longer needed you two, be on your way."
Lion's piercing eye narrowed as the High Summoner made his way off, sighing and waving behind him as he also began to leave. "We have a final check to make before we're ready. Don't worry, we'll be there." His head turned to the opposite side sharply all of a sudden, as if he'd spotted a person he was looking for and hastily made a beeline towards his facing.
Otter nodded and hurried after him, as Tintalor grinned, waving his hand. "Come on, the platforms for the summonings are over this way."
Otter waved to some of the champions. "Hey, Ahri! You ready to see Skye kick some ass?"
The vixen turned away from the rest of the group, strutting over to her favored summoner. "With you having chosen him? I have no doubts." She lightly stroked his jawline, smiling at him.
Katarina, standing beside Ahri, suddenly stepped past her and shoved Lion, who was just about to step forward to greet her. "Bastard!" she hissed, seizing him by the jacket, "How dare you agree to summon her?! You promised me you would stay away from that vile savage!"
Lion sighed deeply and firmly removed her shaking hands from his collar, straightening the fine leather. "Easy, this is my favorite jacket," he replied calmly, returning her wide eyed glare with an even stare. "Listen, Red. Everything that's been going on...I don't like this. Tencent told the three of us that it was an instant court-martial if we didn't agree to this. We don't have a choice if we want to keep our posts."
Katarina looked down, frowning. "Master, I...forgive me for speaking out of turn. I did not know what you do."
Lion clapped her reaffirmingly on the shoulder, smiling slightly. "Easy. That's not like you, darlin'. I know you mean well. We're a lot alike, really- you know that." He nodded to Ahri as well, flashing her a suave grin. "Same to you, Foxy. If there really is some trouble-a-brewin' here on the home turf, I want you both to be safe. You two are our favorite champions, and we would see you safe."
Otter nodded seriously, giving Ahri a quick hug. "Take care of yourselves, ok? We don't know what's going on yet with the champions disappearing… And if you see Riven, keep an eye on her too for us, ok? Just keep an eye out for each other, and for the time being, no crazy, random sex dear." Ahri made a pouting face, drawing away from Otter. "No, really. We need to be careful, and one can't be aware of surroundings while playing around." She rolled her eyes, but nodded. "All right."
Lion pointed to Ahri, snickering. "But really, if you do get down for real, at least let me know about it, yeah?" Pinching at one of her whisking tails playfully, he turned to Katarina. "Same goes for you, Red."
As he turned to leave, the lithe assassin snatched him by the wrist and hugged him tightly, planting a swift but firm kiss on his lips. "Be careful, Master...That monster, she already killed a summoner. I won't let anything happen to my summoner!" She stepped back, exchanging a glance with Ahri. "Well, at least we won't be bored."
"Oy, there's a meaning behind the word 'behave'!" Otter pointed out, but he didn't object as Ahri pulled him close with her tails, kissing him too. "Let's get to work, Lion."
With a satisfied, soft hum, Lion nodded to his friend and stepped back towards the summoner's chambers, withdrawing a fine made cigar from his jacket pocket. Lighting it with a sudden jet of flame from his fingertip, he helped himself to a long, solid drag, exhaling a thick plume of smoke as he took one last look at their champions. "Foxy! Red! I'm serious about watching each other's asses! Things are getting strange around here..." With another puff, he stepped inside the already smoky chambers.
Sir and Miss settled into their own private viewing booth, specially arranged to avoid interruption. "Everything seems to be progressing well." He said quietly. "Would you mind if I peruse Skye's report now?"
"Certainly." Miss passed him the parchment with Skye's picture adorning the top, showing the warrior in brilliant starlight with waves behind him. She didn't look away from the screen that let her view the entire battle field for a moment, though.
Name: Skye
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 186 lbs
Eyes: grey-blue
Hair: Unkempt light brown
Weapons: Water. Summons a vast variety of style weaponry from stellar energy
Notable skills:
Shimmer Shot: A beam of light from his bow that seems to fire off repeat shots as it hits multiple foes
Soul Force: A barrage of orbs that home in on foes
Other Notes:
Skye seems to have a vast number of special skills with his various weapons, but he seems to prefer using his bow at present. Continue to observe.
Skye was the first to appear in the battlefield, temporarily alone- an illusion instantly shattered by the sight of the glowing eyes watching him hungrily from the edges of the tree line. He snarled, his eyes glowing green slightly, giving him a more feral look and the eyes backed off. Skye turned slightly as Belia appeared next to him, immediately followed by Seth. "Right. Let's go deal with this. I'll take the path to the-"
"So long, sucker!" Seth took off, jumping the stone wall surrounding their glowing power orb down into the dense forest. The others caught a quick glance of him on the other side trying to catch his feet again before his momentum took him into the trees.
"Idiot." Skye sighed. "I'll take the left path, you take the right, ok Belia?"
Belia took a moment to survey her surroundings, eyes wide with wonder. The looming trees captivated her attentions, nothing more but gnarled husks, yet their looming and commanding presence made it alarmingly clear that this was no place to lose focus. She blinked upon hearing Skye's voice address her, cutting her sharp eyes back over to him and nodding energetically.
"Belia no care where go, so long as we fight!" With her proud, terrifying lion's roar, she strode off immediately. The towering trees nearby her quivered notably at each and every mighty footstep that made contact with the old, dusty trail of marble that lead on farther past what normal eyes could see.
"Well, I guess it's a better outlook than Seth." In exact antithesis to Belia, Skye snuck down off the platform and into the edges of the forest, not quite on the path. He wasn't sure what to expect in a massive forest like this, but he wanted to stay on edge. His caution served him well as he ducked, narrowly avoiding a crescent scythe of moonlight that swept across his neck level. A moment later, Diana walked out of the bush, glaring down at him.
"Get up you pitiful excuse for a man." She brought her curved blade around again, a trail of moonlight arcing off the swing. Skye dove to the side, outside of the range of her attack. With a strangled cry, a burst of energy rippled out from the moon-worshiper, and caught Skye- ripping him from his feet and back to the ground in front of Diana.
"By the light of the southern cross be purified!" Skye moved his fingers in a quick pattern in the air, and a long, thin sword of green fire appeared in his hand, blocking Diana's next swing at his chest. With a flourish he forced her to jump back or lose her legs before rolling up to his own feet. "I have no quarrel with you, Diana. I bear the Solari no love."
"You bore me no love when you killed my only sympathizer." Diana snarled, swinging her blade. Another long crescent of moonlight extended from it, shattering Skye as he countered it easily. The sudden sparking lights were dazzling, and he blinked, trying to see where she'd gone. "I have always dreamed of taking your head, hell spawn." Diana's voice whispered in his ear. Skye could feel the blade coming for his neck again, and knew he couldn't move fast enough to stop it. With a quick burst of power, the Wings of Cyprus flared into being on his back, knocking Diana away. At the same moment, bursts of lunar energy seemed to explode on one of the wings, shredding it and rendering it useless.
"Believe what you want, moonchild. If I need to dispatch you with my own blade to make my innocence clear, so be it."
As Belia neared the farthest tower from their Nexus, the crystal tipped spearhead lit up and sparked once, emanating a powerful, blue light. The massive barbarian let out another forceful, bestial howl that scattered the birds and rustled every tree in the treeline itself. She took slow, casual steps forward, looking all around for her opponents, though her face did not even show a hint of fear. "Come out!" Belia called in her strong voice, her tone was disturbingly cheerful. "Belia want play now! Is rude to keep pretty woman waiting, yes?"
As Belia stepped further into the lane, the ground gave way from underneath her, magical symbols appearing to bind her arms in place. "You really are a single minded, foolish beast." Swain stepped out of the edges of the trees, his crow fluttering down to rest on his shoulder. "Charging in, never thinking, never questioning, never bothering to use the greatest human weapon- their mind. I can't believe it took me this long to catch you. That's what happens when you actually do it yourself, instead of sending incompetents after you." He took a step forward, dark green energy wrapping around him. "My bird is hungry to end your humiliations!"
Deeper inside the jungle, Seth was crouching on top of a branch, trying not to giggle. "Wrong way, Fat Hands!" he cried out, jumping off through the trees to a new spot, unable to hold back his laughter. Down below, Vi was punching the crap out a tree only vaguely close to where Seth had been. "Not even close. You sure you're trying?" He hopped out of his new tree as it was punched in half, landing several yards from her. "Just like old times, eh Vi?"
"Get dunked, brat!" Vi jumped at Seth's face, and he flipped casually over her attack to stand on her fist.
"So, if I kill you in here, you really won't die? How convenient!" He pulled bomb out of the large pockets on his pants, and rolled over her head, leaving charges behind.
Vi didn't hesitate to charge after him, shrugging off the explosions like mosquito bites. "You won't get away from me this time you little freak!" She shouted, casually punching through tree trunks, trying to keep sight of the courier.
Belia did not even seem remotely concerned with Swain's spells cast upon her. Instead, she merely shrugged and effortlessly stretched her arms, the magical lines severing themselves with a brilliant spark. "Belia no stupid! Belia just wanted passage through Noxus! If think can stop Belia, come!" Her flippant expression had transformed into an alert, fierce stare as she reared her fist back, slamming it into the earth with a deep, guttural grunt. A massive gush of primal fury erupted where Swain was standing, ricocheting him off the ground and between a small patch of trees a few times.
"Cripple say want fight Belia! Come! Belia WANT!"
With an unearthly howl, Swain's body warped into a dark beast with glowing eyes. "Fool!" he snarled. "Your pitiful attacks cannot even harm me! We would have let you pass through Noxus with only a little bit of study, but you felt you must humiliate our forces!" He swiped at Belia's face with sickly, grey talons that reeked of the plague.
Belia snatched his wrist in one of her beefy hands just in the nick of time, the vile talons just a hair's breadth from her face. "Not Belia fault! Belia no like when people try study Belia!" She squeezed on his wrist firmly with a low, menacing snarl of her own, hearing the bones crunch instantly. "Think can side with those who want Skye gone and leave unharmed? Belia crush!" With her free hand, she made a monstrous fist and began to pummel on the side of his now ravenesque head repeatedly and brutally. The sickening thuds resounded all throughout the Treeline for all to hear.
With each impact against Swain, the energy seemed to drain out of Belia, but Swain was only showing minimal damage. He smirked at her, laughing in his raucous way. "You will only help bring about his downfall with direct action." He raised one of his claws, striking back at Belia's blows, as a green glow came from his other hand, wrapping around Belia's body. "Submit while you have the chance, and perhaps I will allow you to live after the battle."
Belia felt strange. She had only begun fighting, why was she feeling so exhausted? With each swing of her massive arm she felt her energy sapping more and more, twisting in the grasp of the sinister glow. "Belia slave to none! Belia kneel to none!" As she shouted, her skin began to grow hot. Faintly at first, it quickly ramped up to an unbearable temperature, and her thick mane of hair began to glow angrily.
"How quaint, she berserks." Swain quoted, smirking. "A brainless barbarian is not a threat to a tactician." The green glow around Belia's body fought to overpower Belia's own glow.
Shouting fiercely, Belia managed to rid herself of the eerie magic's grasp and began swinging her massive sword in broad, swift, and reaping arcs, advancing with each step and swipe. "This not Rage, Belia just annoyed! Crippled raven man no have idea!" The minions on either side, up until now deadlocked in mindless combat with one another, were fleeing before Belia's furious blows. The stragglers were instantly vanquished, brutally exploding in bloody fountains.
Swain lashed out, the massive claws of his morphed form as hard as any blade as he blocked Belia's harsh swings. "And yet, you already act with no thought or consideration!"
Belia carried on with her relentless assault, pondering how he was managing to shrug off even her attacks. The more he parried, deflected, and just generally seemed unaffected, the angrier she got. Her hair was pulsating rapidly at this point, and her blood seared hotly inside her. At this rate, it wouldn't be long before she lost control to the Rage...something she could not afford right now. Sure, she would undeniably slaughter the deranged general and his allies, but she might not be able to stop herself from hurting Skye and Seth, as well...and that would not do at all for many reasons.
In the summoner's chambers, the three who had greeted the champions were hard at work concentrating their energies on the summoning and the battle. The portals crackled loudly from the sheer power that was necessary in a summoning, and the room was quiet save for the occasional grunt or sharp breath. Lion gritted his teeth on the plump cigar in his mouth, a sudden pain spike soaring all throughout his body. It was a strange pain. The burning sensation he felt in his mind and body was not a normal heat from flame or temperature, it was from a brutal, savage anger.
Belia...it was obviously her.
He should have known. Swain was giving her a fair go, and he could heel her tension tightening into a vice of frustration and fury. The longer they continued to exchange blows, the more intense the heat became, eventually Lion was nearing his limits in enduring the otherworldly pain, and his pained grunts became apparent to the other two summoners.
"Damn..." he panted, struggling to keep his full focus on the portal, "She's...getting way too angry...I have to do something to quell it, even if just for a moment..!"
He snapped the fingers of his right hand, pointing at Swain in the portal. "Ignite!" he called, and a bright jet of white flames spewed from his fingertip and at Swain into the portal.
Swain staggered back, screaming in his raucous voice, trying to put out the flames. He desperately clawed at Belia's next attack, but he was thrown to the ground, with Belia standing over him. "Damn you, beast." He snarled, feebly raising a claw.
Belia blinked in surprise as the raven man suddenly squawked in agonizing pain and was alight with white, dancing flames. How did that happen? Was it Skye or Seth?
Belia... The voice was inside her head, it sounded freshly familiar. She remembered it belonging to one of the summoners.
Where are? Belia no see!
Nevermind that now, Belia. You need to strike him now, immediately! That spell I cast will only last for a short moment!
Not wanting to waste this precious second of full advantage, Belia raised her gargantuan blade high overhead. "Think fire hurt? Belia hurt much worse!" With a cry, she plunged the blade down forcefully towards his head.
Before the blow could land, Seth came tearing out of the forest, leaping up onto Belia's shoulders. "Move it or lose it, Lady!" He wrapped his legs around her neck, twisting himself to the side, using his own body weight and the momentum from Belia's upswing, he managed to flip her over to the side, sending both sprawling on the ground.
Just behind him, there was an almighty crash from the woods. "GET BACK HERE AND GET DUNKED YOU ASSHOLE!" Seth glanced back as Vi came bursting out of the woods, fist first.
"Vi, stop, he's over there! He's over there!" Swain screeched, trying to scramble out of the way of the flying cop, shutting up very suddenly as her mechanical fist connected with his unholy beak. There was a loud crack, and Swain's head snapped back unnaturally far. Vi picked herself up, grinning.
"Got ya!"
"You did?" Seth sat up on top of Belia, grinning cheekily.
"What the-" Vi glanced down at her victim, who had resumed human form, his bird dead across his chest. "You cheater! Get over here!"
Belia righted herself immediately with an irate howl, glaring down at the dead Swain, then over to the giggling Seth. Fuming, she snatched him by the ankles with one hand and held him upside down in front of her.
"Bastard!" she hissed, shaking him once forcefully, "What doing?! Belia not enemy!"
She was about to continue when the rush of wind from Vi's massive mechanical fist barely whiffed the side of her head. As she reared back for another swing, Belia shouted fiercely and swung Seth as a makeshift club directly at her. The domes of Seth and Vi collided with a sickening crack, Vi's eyes rolling back into her head as she dropped limply and immediately. Seth dangled in Belia's unrelenting grasp, dazed from the force of the blow. With a huff, Belia released him and let him tumble to the ground, placing her girthy hands on her wide hips and leering down at him.
"And all say Belia stupid..." she muttered scornfully as she stepped over him and to the reeling Vi, who had just come to and was struggling to stand on her feet. The officer barely had time to look up, wide eyed in horror as the gargantuan barbarian raised her monstrous foot and stomped down with all of her might. Bloody, bony and meaty chunks sprayed everywhere as the brutal stomp from Belia instantly exploded Vi's head. The force of impact from boot to earth caused an alarming quake in the Treeline, various trees throughout the entire area began to fall one after another with splintering cracks.
Over in another clearing, Skye and Diana were still circling each other. "Give up, fiend." Diana panted, clutching her side, her sword hanging low, but still ready for a deadly strike. In contrast, Skye was standing tall, the gauntlet on his hand glinting in what little sunlight made it through the dense forest.
"I told you already, Diana. I have done no wrong." He circled around again, considering the best angle of attack. He saw Diana glance up and to his side, and he threw himself to the side without thinking. A huge, hairy leg slammed into the ground at his side. He turned slightly, looking back and up into the eight black, glaring eyes. "Oh. Hello."
Diana lunged at his side while Skye was distracted, her sword going for his exposed chest. Skye glanced back, barely managing to get his gauntlet back in the way, clashing against her attack. Their eyes met for a moment, before another massive leg swept them both off their feet, sending them sprawling a few yards away. Diana wasted no time in rolling to swing at Skye's head.
Skye blocked the swing again, then pushed it away so he could roll out of the way of Vilemaw's next swinging leg. "This is insane! Fuck off you damn spider!" He swung at the nearest leg, burying the clawed blade on his middle finger into the beast. Before he could enjoy his victory, Diana was behind him again, her blade coming down at him again. He twisted, the steel digging deeply into his shoulder.
Biting down to keep from screaming, Skye turned, grabbing the sword to keep Diana in place. She tried to pull away, as Vilemaw staggered away from Skye, his eight eyes crossing dizzily. Skye refused to release her sword though. He stood, staring into her eyes as he stood. She tried to wrench away from him again, when a sudden stinging pain shot through her side. She glanced down at the point where Skye's claw had just barely pierced her side. "It's over, Diana." He murmured quietly, teeth still gritted against the pain in his shoulder. "Lord Scorpio's poison has already invaded your being." Diana could feel her body slowly freezing up as she desperately fought to tear her sword away from Skye's grip. The pain in her side became more pronounced as Skye dug his claw in deeper. "You lose, Diana. Though I will make sure you pay for this pain soon." His eyes bored into hers darkly as she shook slightly at the increased poison dose, collapsing into a trembling heap.
Belia was currently closing in on Skye and Diana's position from behind them, the constant shaking of the earth from her footsteps was ever present as she pressed on briskly. As she neared the two, she was pleased to see Skye standing victorious. Just as she was about to hail him, the colossal Vilemaw reared back high for yet another attempt on Skye's life. Springing into action, Belia leapt high overhead with her barbaric cry and slammed Belial Edge down, severing half of one of its legs cleanly upon her descent. The strong tremors from her landing rattled Vilemaw, and it stared evenly with all its creepy eyes at the crimson monstrosity that stood defiantly between it and its next choice snacks. No matter, it would gladly settle for a full course meal...
Skye turned to look at Belia, bleeding heavily from the wound in his arm, a hint of white at the back of the gaping wound. "You win your fight already? About damn time." He moved his other hand in a pattern in the air, leaving a trail of green fire. The gauntlet dispersed, replaced with his sword. "Come on, this thing's all size." He jumped away from another of Vilemaw's attacks with ease, the monster keening in frustration.
"Belia been done! Skye is late one!" she scoffed, swaying to the side to avoid a swipe at her. She began to walk with Belial Edge resting on her shoulder towards the wretched creature, Vilemaw actually backing up as she advanced. She could smell the intensifying fear from the monster, and a wicked grin spread across her velvety lips.
Skye nodded, then he ran at one of Vilemaw's legs, lunging at it. The spider responded, trying to pull it away. It wasn't fast enough though, and Skye's arms wrapped around the base. Vilemaw's eyes went wide, and he swung his leg up and down, completely unsure what was going on now. As he swung up, Skye let go, using the momentum to flip over onto Vilemaw's back as he drove his sword into its abdomen. With a screech, it tried to stagger in a circle after the creature on its back, but it wasn't built to attack or even see there.
As Skye was busy with his part of the attack, Belia sheathed her mighty blade along her back and broke into a powerful, sudden sprint. Ducking a desperate cleave from Vilemaw, she drove her fist menacingly into its already pierced abdomen, her beefy hand punching a clean, wide hole into the monster. Screeching in pain, Vilemaw was completely helpless to Belia's and Skye's attacks. She grabbed the giant spider in her arms and roared triumphantly, staring it down fearlessly.
"Think Belia just big dumb brute? MUCH WRONG!"
Letting loose, Belia managed to pick the massive beast up over head and deliver unto it a driving suplex, the rattling impact causing even more trees to crash down and fall all around in heaps and dusty piles. Seemingly not finished yet, Belia drove her knee into Vilemaw's face, a shrill screech of pain eminating from it as it was launched skyward by the attack. Belia jumped after, latching onto it again and piledriving it once more to the ground, a massive gush of the creature's ichor and blood spewing in a thick fountain instantly. Belia could feel the Rage calling lustily to her, compelling her to even still continue her assault. She tried to shake it off, but the thought of further bloodshed sounded particularly appealing to her right now...
Lion cried out in mortal pain, grabbing at his sides and dropping to his knees, using one hand to attempt to keep the portal open. "She's...losing it! I can't...keep her...much longer!" Gods, was the heat unbearable! Every passing second the colossal lioness seemed to get ever angrier, and her burning fury was beginning to dangerously affect the veteran summoner.
Roaring proudly once more, Belia grabbed one of Vilemaw's remaining legs and swung it all around, spinning with it like she was an Olympic athlete preparing for the hammer throw. The whooshing of the massive creature being swung and spun around by the hulking barbarian bore a deep tone, and was so loud that the champions watching in their booths felt like they were literally right next to Belia. Finally, she released him, sending the spider careening high skyward, but then amazingly she pounced after him and yet again sent him plummeting down to the earth with a dual-fisted smash. Landing on top of it, Belia proceeded to suplex him, yet this time repeatedly and on either side of her. After the seventh, she howled furiously and began to beat her gigantic fists everywhere they could reach on Vilemaw, geyser after geyser erupting in a series of raging epicenters as her fists easily pierced the entire carapace of the monster and through to the earth. Vilemaw had ceased to make any more noise let alone move before Belia had brought him back down for this final, gruesome brutality, though Belia was losing control of herself at this point. She unleashed a guttural shout, bringing her fists up one final time and smashing them as hard as she could down, this time the resulting geyser erupted upon itself several times, and nothing but gory bits and chunks of the once great Vilemaw scattered all about. A portion of one of its legs wetly smacked into Skye's face, as he had been forced to end his own attacks early due to Belia's commanding manhandling of the monster.
"Umm… Belia? It's dead. Chill. We just need to wait for the summoners to let us go-" he was cut off as he disintegrated, being returned to the real world. He turned, looking back at the summoners who were rushing towards him, carrying the summoner he'd seen earlier. "Wait, what about Belia?"
"Sorry, Skye." Otter said, panting from having to carry Lion. "Belia's rage effected her summoner umm… negatively. We had to leave her on the field until her rage calms on its own. You understand, right?"
"Understand!? What's going on here! You can't just-"
"He's dying, move before you are too!" Tintalor snapped, ramming his shoulder into Skye's chest and pushing by.
"He's WHAT?!" came the scathing reply of Katarina, who stomped to them angrily from behind Skye, her eyes wide and terrifying. At her side, Ahri was desperately tugging on Katarina's arm, a pleading look on her face as she knew all about her friend's own fiery temper, and how much it could get her into trouble. "How could you let this happen to him?! You all knew she was dangerous, and yet here we all are, allowing these infidels the 'chance' to join, only to prove that they will only cause more problems than they solve!" She grabbed at the slumped over Lion, holding his face in her leather clad hands and examining him shakily. "Master?! Can you hear me? It's going to be all right, I'll take care of you...I'll make sure that...that bitch pays for this transgression!"
Skye's hand descended on Katarina's shoulder before any of the summoners could speak. The clawed gauntlet he'd been using in the fight was back on his wrist, the point of the single claw inches from the assassin's chest. "Three things." His voice had gone deathly quiet. "Firstly, you are in their way of getting your 'precious' summoner to safety. Second, would you prefer we hold your crimes in Noxus committed against every other country against you without you getting any say? Finally, Go ahead. Call Belia a bitch in front of me again. See what happens." The claw lightly scraped the front of her clothes, not breaking the surface.
Her cheeks flushed red in frustration, and she wrenched his wrist off her, twisting it just before the point that it would break. "You listen to me, knave! What you have to say doesn't fu-"
"Kat!" Lion called to her, his raspy breathing and weakened voice caused her to shut up immediately and look at him. "The kid's...right. She, Belia..." he shook his head, his labored breathing caused his chest to expand significantly for breath, "She didn't do this on purpose. There are things about her...that the Institute does not yet understand...We have to...hold off on any further...summonings of her until we can...figure out how to keep ourselves safe from her Rage..." He groaned and struggled to stand on his own feet, only to sink back down to his knees.
"Master, I'm...sorry..." she bowed her head in shame, though she spat the word "sorry" out in disgust, "We can talk about this later. I've got to get you to the medical ward..." With a grunt, she helped an arm over her shoulders and walked tentatively with him. "I've got you now, it's okay..." She glared back at Skye and made a throat slitting noise, accompanying the sound effect with her free hand. "This isn't over!" she hissed before helping her summoner off, Ahri trotting along after a moment, giving the summoner's chambers a final look before turning and helping Katarina with the drained Lion.
Skye glared after her, twisting his wrist back and forth, flexing it much further than she had. "Get back to the rooms, Seth." he said quietly to the champion who had materialized behind him as he turned to look up at the holo-screen of the field. "I'll wait here for Belia."
Not even a moment after he spoke, a familiar, deafening crash exploded throughout the halls from the toppling impact behind him. Belia stood at her full, terrorizing height, covered in Vilemaw's blood. Just the sight of her covered in its blood, coupled with her dangerous facial expression, she looked absolutely mortifying. She turned her frightening gaze towards Tintalor and Otter, both of whom paled considerably upon seeing her. Remaining silent, she trudged off, the entire room in utter and complete silence save for the booming of her footsteps and the rattling of the structure as she moved. Anyone that was in her path hastily scurried out of the way, shooting her mortified looks as she passed...
Riven threw her shoulder desperately against the doorway out of the small viewing chamber again, bouncing off like a sexy bouncing ball. "Damn it!" She glanced back at her fellow champions that were trapped inside the room with her. "Don't worry, I'll figure something out." With a battle cry, sword drawn, she charged the door again."
"Keep faith, Riven. Simply do what must be done."
"Be swift. I will be imprisoned no longer."
