I know I totally dropped the ball on the whole updating every weekend and didn't update for literally over half a year and you probably forgot about this story but I'm making it up to you. I was sitting in math class and wrote down all of the acceptable ideas I wanted and now I kind of know where I want to take this so I won't be dropping the ball AS MUCH but I might drop it a couple of times. Eddie and Loren arrive right on time and find Mel already sitting at their table.

"How did you get here so fast?" Eddie exclaimed in shock while hugging Mel hello and pulls away.

"Rock stars aren't the only ones with super powers" Mel informs, as she hugs and smirks at Loren, then pulls away.

Loren bows her head in embarrassment and Eddie chuckles and kisses Loren's hair.

They all sit down and start talking about whatever comes to mind. They are finishing desert when Loren gets a call.

Loren picks up the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey, Lo, it's me. I need you to be at a certain address in about two hours for a photo shoot that I forgot to tell you about. Can you make it?"

"Hi Kelly, nice to hear from you too. I'm well thanks for asking." Loren informs her sarcastically as she chuckles.

"Ha-ha. Very funny. We don't have time for pleasantries though, Loren, so please answer the question."

"Well it wasn't my fault that you messed up Kelly so don't get snippy with me. I'm usually a nice person but I JUST got back and you are springing this on me now?" Loren asks.

"I am sorry for that and yes it was my fault that I didn't put it in your calendar or mine but I'm telling you now." Kelly says sternly.

"Can it be pushed back an hour?" Loren inquires.

"It was supposed to be right now, but two hours was all I could get for you and that was pushing it.

"Well Eddie and I were going to look at houses but I guess we could come in. what kind of shoot is it and who's the photographer?"

"Wait hold up. You were going to go look at HOUSES with Eddie? Why?" Kelly asks at the same time Mel screams "What?"

"Melissa! PLEASE lower your voice, people are staring now, and in answer to your questions for the both of you: yes, Eddie and I are planning on getting a bigger place together. Now I'll ask again. What kind of shoot is it and who is the photographer?" Loren asks frustrated. Eddie starts to get upset too, but only because Loren is upset and starts massaging her neck with one hand and listens intently to the call. Mel sees this and is amazed at how in tune they are to each other.

"Well it's a wedding gown photo shoot, bring Eddie too; Jake was gonna call him. I think Ian is actually taking the pics. I'll let you know for sure when I text you the details." Kelly reports.

"Okay. Bye Kel"

"Bye Lo. See you soon"

"Yep"

After Loren hangs up she looks to Eddie and sees that he is also frustrated and a bit disappointed, but is trying to hide it. Loren takes his hand and starts playing with their fingers.

"What's wrong? And don't tell me it's nothing because I'm your wife and you can't hide anything from me. I can read you too easily so what's wrong?" Loren asks gently but firmly.

Eddie smiles when he hears her call herself his wife because he still can't believe that she is his and he is hers; but he sobers up and answers the question.

"I just think she's pushing you too hard and can't even keep up with herself. Remember how she kept calling us during the honeymoon about different gigs she wanted to set up around L.A?"

"Yes, you threw my phone into the ocean. How could I possibly forget something like that?" Loren chuckles and Eddie

"You did what?" Mel snorted.

"THAT is a story for another day; when we have time to actually talk about it." Eddie says, frustrated, as he waves at a waitress and pays the bill.

"Well I'll let you guys go so you can get ready for the shoot. Lord knows what you crazy kids do to do that but I don't wanna know."

"Mel!" Loren exasperates.

"Actually I might want to know now that I think about it." Mel mutters offhandedly.

"MEL!" Eddie and Loren say at the same time.

"Sorry. It's just that my life isn't as exciting as my rock star best friends' so I need drama in my life." Mel says dramatically.

"I'm sure your life has enough drama to last five lifetimes and two soap operas." Loren laughs and Eddie snorts.

"True but I need more!" Mel exclaims as she grabs Loren's shoulders and shakes her.

After she is done, they both laugh.

"Well we apparently have to go. I love you and I'll see you later okay?"

"Yep. I love you too. Bye Lo and bye Eddie"

She said as she hugs them both

"Bye Mel. It was great seeing you again" Eddie admits.

"Ditto"

Eddie and Loren go back to the penthouse. When they get inside, they both collapse onto the couch. Eddie turns on the television and hands Loren the remote. Loren surfs the channels until she finds Iron Man on FX and they watch that. When the movie ends, Loren gets up but Eddie is still seated. He looks up at her.

"You know that I love you right?" Eddie asks out of nowhere.

"Of course I do. I love you too." Loren smiles and kisses him.

"I just wanted to be sure because I want to tell you something." Eddie laughs a little but then becomes really serious.

Loren sits down.

"Okay?" Loren asks nervously.

Eddie notices this and quickly backtracks.

"It's not anything bad I swear." Eddie says quickly and Loren visibly relaxes.

"What is it?" Loren asks curiously.

"I think you should fire Kelly as your manager." Eddie tells her.

"Oh." Loren says, taken aback. "I mean I agree with you I just didn't think you would come out and say it. I mean you wouldn't hurt my feelings like that and I surely didn't know how I was going to tell you and I didn't want to upset you because I know Jake and Kelly are friends.

"Whoa!" Eddie laughs. "Stop. Listen. Okay?" Loren nods. "I was gonna tell you sooner but you were happy about the engagement and I didn't want to ruin that and you don't EVER have to worry about making me upset okay?" Eddie hugs Loren and kisses her. "I don't want us to hold anything from each other at all. We are married and need to trust each other. That's what it's all about right? Communication?"

"Right" Loren smiles and kisses Eddie passionately. "Alright, let's go to that stupid photo shoot and then I'll tell Kelly after.

"You want me there for that?"

"YES PELASE!" Loren responds fast. "I don't think I could do it without you to give me strength."

"Well I'm happy to help." Eddie replies cheekily. This earns him a laugh from Loren which is music to his ears. He smiles and kisses her cheek. "Let's go." He says and throws her over his shoulder.

"AH! PUT ME DOWN, EDDIE!" Loren squeals.

"NEVER!" Eddie laughs and they walk out the door to go to the photo shoot.
