A/N: This following chapter is RATED M

Miranda's View:

Siting on my bed in my apartment, I have finished getting ready to go out tonight with Agent Willis. What am I thinking? This is not a date, that's what I'm thinking. I hear a knock on my door and hesitate to answer. I get up and grab my gun. As a spy, I have to be prepared now. I cautiously open the door and see Willis.

"Wow, you look.." He say's speechless.

"Umm... Thanks. You look handsome." I compliment, only because he gave me one.

I lock my door and we leave. He drives a nice black Mercedes Benz. He opens the passenger side door and I get in. He quickly runs over to his side and were off.

"So, where are we going again?"

"It's a surprise."

"Really Agent Willis?"

"Were not even on duty and you're calling me that?"

"Yes, Agent Willis, I am."

"Damn...Ok, Agent Walker."

"Can you at least tell me the ETA?"

"Fine, I'll give you that. About thirty minutes. We have to get on my private ship, and then go through a relay."

"Private ship?" I chortle.

"Laugh all you want Walker, but it's fast, and has a nice bar." He flashes a quick smile in my direction.

Soon we board his ship, and we are being served drinks.

"Any preferred wine, Agent Walker?" He asks.

"Whatever you decide is fine." He nods, and makes me my favorite drink, an apple martini.

"How did you know that was my favorite drink?"

"Lucky guess? You look like the kinda girl."

"Oh, do I?"

"Yes." I say.

Were interrupted by the pilot.

"Attention passengers, we are arriving the relay in ten seconds." We fasten our seat belts and shoot through the relay, and into the a system. We finally arrive at our destination, and Willis jumps out of the ship, and puts his hand out to help me down the stairs. I hesitantly grab it. I hope he's not getting attached to me, for his and my sake. He gives me his arm and I quickly dis may it.

"What?" He says with a puzzled face.

"Can you stop doing that?"

"Doing what?"

"Your cheesy pick-up lines, your gentlemen like gestures, your flirting. I'm your co-worker, Willis."

"Oh, no Agent Willis?" I deflect his line by ignoring it. We keep walking towards where ever he's taking me. I would've left, if he wasn't my ride home; besides I need to stop acting like a bore.

"I'm sorry." He apologizes.

"No, it's my fault, I didn't mean to attack you like that." He grabs my hand ever so gently.

"Don't ever apologize to me." He says with the most sincere face. He pulls me close to him and he's about to kiss me, and I think I'm going to let him; however he is interrupted by the bouncer.

"Devin! Go on in man!" He motions his hands to the door and we walk in, and he holds my hand. I hear the bass booming in my head, the strobe lights hitting every wall, and I see a plethora of people/aliens dancing.

"Club Eternity, huh?" I state. This place brings back so many memories. Shepard and I went here to wait for Liara to help her with the Shadow Broker mission.

"C'mon, lets get a drink." He drags me over to the bartender holding my hand. I stand and wait for him to order, and he stands behind me, holding me, as we wait for the Asari bartender to acknowledge us.

"Can I call you Sarah now?"

"Maybe this once, Devin." I say turning my head around. I see him with a grin on his face. He moves his lips towards mine and we kiss...We actually kiss. Remember how I said this bar makes me remember some old memories? Well there was a rude awakening when the bartender turns to us.

"Oh look, it's you again sugar lips. But what's this? A new boy toy? What happened to that other human you were with?"

Devin's expression from a happy glowing smile quickly fades.

"Boy toy?" Devin says.

"Yeah, this guy she couldn't stop making out with, it was quite disturbing actually."

My heart drops.

"Well it doesn't matter. I saw him with some other girl."

"What?" I exclaim.

"Oh. You didn't hear? He's back with the girl you stole him from in the first place, Liara." She smirks. My blood was boiling.

"Sarah, what's going on? What other guy?"

"We broke up, a long time ago. We have to go. Now." I didn't wanna risk him seeing me, which was unlikely. Devin turns from confused to pissed.

"Whatever." Devin says with attitude.

Just then I hear a beep on my phone. I look at it and it's a message from the Illusive Man, and it reads 'Sarah, we have reason to believe there is someone there to kill you. We have reason to believe there name is Liara T'Soni. You need to kill her immediately, before she gets you. This is your red test. Good Luck.'

A red test is a spies true test to show if they are ready to be a spy, if they don't achieve their goal, they are no longer a spy; however, if they do complete it, they are promoted. Every spy gets a red test, no matter what. Most of the time it is the hardest decision in their life to make.

"Wait." I exclaim.

"What? I thought you wanted to leave?"

"I wanted to say I'm sorry, again..."

"I told you not to say that Sarah. Please, let's just go, maybe head back to my place for a bit?" He flirts.

"Listen to me. We need to get back in there. I need to do some things. Then I'm all yours ok?" I smile.

"Ok." He accepts.

We walk back over to the bartender.

"Back so soon? They always come back."

"Stop playing games, how do you know Liara?"

"Whoa, take me out to dinner before you fuck me, will you? Ask nicely."

"Can you tell me how you know Liara, please?"

"That's better. Liara is my daughter. I'm her Asari father. That's why I was a bitch to you and your ex, Commander Shepard. He left my baby for you, a Cerberus whore."

"You done insulting me?"

"Almost." She chortles. "Anyways, you wanna know where they are huh?"

"More like where Shepard is, so I can kick his ass for leaving me, for an Asari."

"His ass needs a little beating because of what he did to Liara. Fine, I'll tell you. I don't think Liara is in her apartment, but I know Shepard is. Room 379."

"Thanks."

Damn it. I was hoping Liara would be there. I guess I might have to go through Shepard to find her. This won't be fun.

Devin and I start going to Liara's room.

"Follow my lead ok?"

"Got you Agent Walker."

I turn the corner and see Shepard walk out. That was unexpected, change of plans. He didn't nice us yet, so I move fast. I put my back against the wall, and Devin facing me. I force his lips onto mine and were kissing. The kissing, is, amazing. It's been so long, I almost forgot how to do this. Shepard walks by, but Devin's blocking my face. I have to improvise. I start moaning.

"Oooohh." I moan.

I can feel Shepard's eyes on us.

"You know you two should get a room, it's pretty cheap here." He laughs.

"I push Devin off of me a little and Shepard's eyes widen, and his jaw basically hits the ground.

"Mira-"

"Sarah! My names, Sarah, and this is my boyfriend Devin." I interrupt.

"How's it going...?" Devin says waiting to hear Shepard's name.

"Matt, but everyone calls me Shepard." Devin quickly realizes who this man is. Shepard moves closer to me. I can feel the awkwardness, but Shepard never cared. I remember the way we left it. Him thinking I had forgotten about him. How is this going to play out?

"How have you been Sarah?." Shepard says.

"That's all you can say? Really? Your not even going to bring up Liara? Your girlfriend that you were most likely about to see?" I quickly spit out.

"How did you know..?" He doesn't finish his question before he starts his new one. "Are you jealous? You don't even remember anything about-"

"No. I don't remember anything about you. I just heard the news, so go see your girlfriend where ever she is."

"I will go see her in her office! Bye!" He storms off.

And that's all the information I needed to find her. Thanks and sorry Shepard.

Shepard's View:

I run to Liara's office. The doors open up quicker than you can blink.

"Ok people, Miranda Lawson will be in here shortly, we've lured her here. When she walks in, we detain her of her weapon or weapons when we have the chance, and hand cuff her. You know the drill from there." I re-inform.

"Shepard, are you sure she won't shoot me on the spot?" Liara asks.

"No, if I know Miranda, she hasn't changed that fast."

"Shepard, are you sure?"

"Yes, Liara." I assure. "Now, everyone hide, this is a set up, ok? Positions!" I order. I hide behind a cabinet next to the door, even if Miranda walks in, she won't notice me.

Just then I hear foot steps, followed by the office door opening. Miranda walks in with Devin behind her. Liara doesn't say a word. Miranda pulls out her gun, and walks closer to Liara. Liara, not changing her expression. Miranda not changing hers either. She points the gun at Liara's head, and rests her finger on the trigger and...To Be Continued...
