Adrian watches Isaac leave the plaza on a monitor in his office, suddenly Adrian is startled by a miniature black and red marker glowing brightly with crimson light along with a low energy hum in a compartment under his desk. He quickly locks the door to his office then picks the marker up in his hands and speaks silently to it.

"I told you not to contact me, especially if I'm not alone!"

"I can sense everyone around you through you; if anyone were to interrupt us I wouldn't have contacted you and risk exposing us, we finished searching through the Earth and it was not there, where is it?"

"It should have been there at the old gulf of Mexico."

"We stripped the Earth bare, ripped it to shreds and it was nowhere there, I want it now."

"That doesn't make sense it was put there the data on it was precise."

"Keep in mind misinforming me in the future will have dire consequences."

"I'm well aware master."

"I will find it and my power will know no bonds, but enough of that Isaac is becoming nuisance I want him out of the equation."

"What else will you have me do master, he survived the station and the research facility at sector 17?"

"There is a world not far from your location teaming with dormant markers, ones born from my own flesh, send Isaac there, see if you get his friends Carver and Gabe to go with him, once they are there I'll trap them and eliminate them all then fewer things will stand in my way."

"I'll try."

The marker then emits a pulse wave hurting Adrian, making him fall into his chair, the voice then speaks with anger.

"You do not try, you do!" "Serve me well Adrian and immortality and greatness will be yours but if you fail you will only find damnation and no rebirth we'll speak again soon, make sure they do not stray from the path once they are on the planet they must not accidently find it."

"Find what?"

"That is none of your concern; my plans will be hindered if they do let's leave it at that."

The marker stops glowing and falls silent; he puts it back in the compartment and leans in his chair holding his head, he looks over at the monitor tracking Isaac's movements then he plans Isaac and his companion's next mission to the planet the voice spoke of. The next day came; Adrian goes to Dr. Hawk's quarters in the Military Sector finding Isaac and Carver with her.

"Ah there you guys are."

"Morning Adrian."

"Morning Madison, how is the converted marker signal coming along?"

"It's going fine, only these recently obtained markers are harder to tap into then the rest and we need more markers to finish the signal."

"Well lucky for you I think we have found another planet with markers."

"Really where?"

"A planet in sector L77."

"L anywhere that's labeled L is a highly restricted."

"I know, but a long time ago we had a team there and they confirmed a large marker presence there."

"I don't know."

"You said we needed more markers we have a planet rich with them."

"Okay your right."

"Carver and I will come along."

"Good very good, I'll await your transmission, What Gabe Weller?"

"He had some things he had to take of."

"Very well."

Isaac and Caver wait for the strike team to L77 in the main hangers, a man calls Isaac's name behind them.

"Isaac, Isaac Clarke?" [Isaac turns towards him]

"Ha no fucking way Alfred Parker, is that you!?"

"Holy shit Isaac how long has it been?"

"Years, a lot of years."

"Friend of yours?"

"Old friends, Carver this is Alfred Parker, we went to high school and college together he also was in my unit when I was with the Merchant Marines we go back long way."

"Isaac and I for a time worked aboard the Ishimura too."

"So how've you been?"

"Good I've working at the engineering levels here at Sanctuary, I'm glad you made it off Earth, I still can't believe it's gone the world we called home… I saw footage of those things ripping it to pieces… it was shocking, how the hell do we fight planet-sized space monsters."

"I'm not sure."

The strike team arrives at the hanger at the shuttle.

"Well we got to go, we'll talk later."

"Here's my R.I.G and apartment number look me up when you get a chance."

"Sure thing."

They board the shuttle and leave and enter shockspace to the restricted sector of L77.
