Chapter 10: Growing Up

Years passed and the pups grew up.

Haru and Haku noticed that their father spent less time with them each day.

That being the case, they went to pester their favorite uncle.

"Uncle InuYasha! Uncle InuYasha!" Both twins hollered down the family wing, knowing that their uncle would hear them.

"What is it you brats?!" The red clad hanyou asked.

"Do you know why Otou-sama is ignoring us?" Haru questioned.

"He spends less and less time with us and he's always staying inside that room." Haku added.

"And we don't understand why we're not allowed there." Both twins said at the same time.

The half demon's ears drooped and he looked away, not really knowing what to say.

The twins, in seeing his reaction, frowned and proceeded to go and ask their grandmother.

When the twins were out of earshot, InuYasha whispered sadly, "If only you two didn't grow up to look like your Mom."

A/N: Chapter 10 done. About 3-5 chapters more and this story's about done. Since I really want to update my older stories. Hopefully I can do more updates.
