A/N Wow over 80 reviews so far, i had never expected that many but i am happy that so many of you enjoy this. I'm afraid this is the last chapter. so sad. It might seem rushed but i didn't want to drag out the whole queen thing and I've been getting so many idea's for the Chronicles of Riddick.

I would be happy if i could get about 18 reviews for this chapter. Lol i was aiming for getting 100 reviews for my Pitch Black Fiction but i'm still proud i managed to get 82 for 9 chapter. Thank you to everyone that followed and Favorited this fiction and even more thanks to the people who took the time to review and let me know what they thought of it.

Deaths Gate, Well no need to worry this is the last Chapter for Pitch Black but there will be a sequel.

On with the finally chapter.

Riddick was still standing on the back of the queen but what worried him was that none of the creatures were attacking they all seemed focused on a certain area. He followed their vision or where there bodies were heading to see Carolyn running but what she couldn't see were six of them creatures facing her and she wasn't slowly down.

Survival Instinct

Ignoring the woman as well as the creatures, she was of no one important to Riddick. A muffled scream cut through the air and the creatures back began to vibrate. Then it took Riddick a moment to realize that it was Eva screaming but it was slightly muffled. Moving around as he tried to block everything out before focusing on the sounds from the stomach.

There was snapping sounds as well as hisses. Riddick counted trying to get the idea and image on where Eva was in the stomach. Taking a deep breath as he reared his arm back before it slammed into the queens back causing Abby to screech, her babies head's shooting to face her as Riddick's arm broke the skin before it continue down until it reach what felt like a head.

Yanking it out to be welcomed with a small baby creature that was squealing, its tail and arms flapping around.

A loud screech filled the air and Riddick could feel sadness as well as a lot of angry. He could guess that the queen didn't like having a young cub ripped out of her stomach.

Riddick watched as Abby's head slowly turned to face him, it being difficult with her body being so large but her new born baby was in danger, all the hundreds of eyes all zeroed on him before he slowly brought up his other hand and with a flick a small snap filled the air and the squeal died down.

It was silent for a moment before ciaos erupted, the queen slamming her body everywhere, ignoring her babies pained screeches as well as the wounds she was giving herself but all she cared about was getting this filthy little human of her back and destroying him.

They were her babies, this planet was her's and them humans were….her's.

Dark blood was pouring everywhere from the queen, her head was bleeding as well as her back from Eva and Riddick's attack and the blood from her useless legs but now she was all on revenge. Lifting her head to the sky before letting out the loudest screech that caused Imam and Hassan to cover their ears.

Every creature turned to face their queen, ignoring Carolyn who continued to run towards the ship and ignoring the jab of guilt for leaving the others behind.

Riddick hadn't expected the attacks as his sole focus was on the queen who still had her many eyes staring at him so the feeling of claws digging into his side caused him to let out a hiss before he was roughly lifted of the queens back and thrown towards the wet ground.

His head slammed against it which slightly dazed him but seeing the many creatures flying towards him had him up and on his feet in no time with his shiv in one hand. Whatever Eva was doing he had to give her enough time to complete it and hopefully kill the queen cause there was no way Eva and him could kill the queen as well as all the creatures.

They would be dead before they made a dent.

Eva whimper as pain exploded in her body, she didn't understand it but there was a sense in her that was telling her it was Riddick and he was hurt. Blinking away the water from her eyes as she continued digging further into the queens body, making sure to avoid anymore white bags with dark shadows.

She wonder what would happen once this was taken care of, the slight memories she did know were from years ago and she wonder what the world was like now and how she would fit in but she mostly wanted to learn to walk on two feet once again and try to be normal for….Riddick.

Eva didn't understand why she had this….attraction to the man, he smelt more animal then man. It might have had to do with the fact that he didn't look at her in fear or disgust, he excepted her but the holy man was the same, did that mean she was attracted to him?

It was all confusing and it took Eva a moment to realize she had stop working and had gotten lost in the mind. The further she went into the body, the ground started to slowly thumb causing her to bounce slightly, she was getting closer to the heart.

Riddick was panting as his blood dripping down his face as well as his arms which slowly mixed with the creature blood, he had cuts over his body but he kept pushing himself as creature after creature attacked him which resulted in it being dead at his feet but a few of them managed to dig their claws in pretty well.

Behind them stood the queen who was watching with a keen eye until a pain erupted from her chest, shaking her body slightly hoping to get rid of it but it never disappeared, in fact it started to become worst.

Turning it's head as her eyes looked around the canon when shock hit her before her head swirled around to stare at her back. That vile human had been clawing at her back and now there was no sign of her anywhere. Abby let out a roar before her legs started to run having difficult with two legs missing but she was quick to go charging in the direction Carolyn had disappeared to.

With a grunt she slammed her body against the rocks but the pain was there still. A few of her babies watched curios as well as in pain, watching their mother torture herself. Abby for the first time felt fear as she continue to ram herself against the rocks, some cutting into her legs causing her to slightly wobble but she chose to ignore it before slipping herself over so her back slammed against the wet ground before she pushed herself up onto her wobble legs.

She would rather have wobble legs then be killed by the bitch she had sworn revenge on. She had finally become strong and she was not willing to die. There was only one choice left. Letting out one loud squeal that caused many of her baby's to pause before Abby snarled at them and they were quick to react.

Her first born's, the six creatures that she herald above the others were quick to her side before they reared their head back, a growl left Abby as her baby's teeth pierced her stomach but she could survive them wounds, they just need to get to the bitch before she died.

Blue blood splatted to the ground as they tore chucks out of her stomach before spitting it onto the ground as they continued pushing further into the stomach. Riddick was down on one knee panting as he lift his head weakly watching as the creatures attacked their queen. He was tired and his whole body ached for the first time as well as worry covering his face.

He was worried, not for himself but for his mate. Quickly grabbing his shiv as he felt a something pressed against his back, spinning around as his arm raised above to dive the shiv into the creature to see Imam and Hassan standing behind him with their arms held up.

His arm dropped, hanging limp as his shiv clattered to the ground before Imam had his arm around Riddick's waist before dragging him towards a couple of rocks where the holy man leaned Riddick against.

"Let us pray that God is with Eva" Imam muttered as his eyes turned towards the squeals, crunching noises were coming from, he was lucky he could not see but all that welcomed him were shadows that flew in the air as well as crawled around on the ground.

Eva was panting while forcing her eyes to stay open, her body felt weird, it felt like it was trying to shut down on her and it was hurting her arms to move but she kept pushing herself because she could feel the creatures getting closer towards her.

For a moment she paused in the movement, her body pressed tightly against the side of the stomach before her eyes landed on what she was heading for. There in front of her was the queens heart. It was giving of loud pumps, clashing against the bones that covered it.

Inching closer as her eyes wonder around it as he arms and legs sunk into some dark liquid which she choose to ignore. The heart was a dark blue with black veins covering it and it was barricaded inside some small bones that were pressed tightly against it with some black webs sticking against it.

She pressed a hand against the black web, the stick feel of it as black liquid dripped onto her hand mixing with the blood. Taking a breath as she ready her self, she was going to burn a hole through the heart but there seemed to be a problem.

Yanking and yanking but her hand would not release from the black web and a new feeling begun to set in, fear.

It felt like she was trapped once again. Summoning up the fire in her palm but nothing happened, the web was still intact and her hand was still stuck. The screeches were getting closer and closer, she was running out of time.

There was nothing she could do as she continue to try and yank herself free. Lifting her head suddenly as a loud howl escaped her and echoed around the stomach.

Riddick was slowly getting his strength back but he would need to wrap up his wounds soon before it became to much. A howl surrounded them but it was different from the creatures, there was fear and Riddick's eyes shot towards the queen who was slowly starting to lean against the rocks her many eyes blinking as if tired.

Her babies were half way through covered in the queens blood. The howl had come from the stomach. It had come from Eva. From his mate. Pushing him self forward was more difficult then he had imagine and Imam with his son were quick to push him down.

"Eva's in trouble!" He hissed, angered that they were trying to take care of him as if he was a weak human. He was stronger then this and his mate was in trouble. He was a furyan and they protected their mates. A new strength seemed to fill him before he stumbled to his feet grabbing his shiv that laid on the cold wet floor before he moved towards the queen.

The creatures were surrounding their queen watching as their brothers clawed the queens stomach when they caught the heartbeat of a human heading towards them. They flew into the air before diving in the direction Riddick was, they were going to protect there queen.

They didn't last a second as angry filled Riddick. No one took what was his and no one hurt what was his.

The creatures head's clattered to the ground before it was followed with their body. More and more creatures left their queen and there leaders to head towards Riddick. He had been bring his arm down to slam his shiv in one of the creatures head when he was thrown back and the feeling of heat against his skin before he was slammed into the ground.

Imam and Hassan were the same, the blast causing them to stumble back as creatures were flung everywhere, body pieces and blood dropping around them before silence surrounded the area.

Riddick groaned as he lift his body up as his eyes laid on the carnage before letting out a yell as the bright light shined into his eyes. Grabbing his goggles as he slid them over his head before letting his eyes land on the damage. There was burnt creatures everywhere with flames continued to burn them and large pieces of the queen covered the area as well.

He ignored all of that as his eyes ran across every piece of area trying to spot the most important thing. His mate.

There was no sign of her only dead creatures and flames. There was suddenly a sharp pain in his heart causing him to gasp as he slammed his hand against his chest. He moved around kicking the dead creatures away trying to find any sign of Eva but there was none a he dropped back to his knees. Emotion he had never felt for anyone or anything filled him and it became to much.

Grinding his teeth as his hands tightened in a fist before he let out a scream, it sounded more like a animal roar who was filled with angry and sorrow. He had lost his mate who he had just found. God truly hated him.

Imam herald his son to his chest as he watched the criminal let out his angry. There were things in life that even Imam could never understand why God would allow such things to happen. The poor girl never had a chance to live her life of this planet.

He dropped to his knees his son slowly following him before he clasped his hands together in a pray.

"Dear Lord….I pray for Eva, that she is given a chance to find peace in her new life and that she be forgiven for any mistake and choices she had taken in this life. Eva….you were an innocent soul corrupted by men who had lost there way but you are strong and I pray you are given peace…..Amen."

Riddick had listened quietly to the holy man's words, he hated god but he hoped she would find the peace she wanted in this life. Lifting his head as he stared at the direction they were aiming for before Carolyn face popped into his head. Eva had grown close to the holy man and his kid and for that Riddick would get them of this planet but they had to act fast. Who knows if Carolyn had reached the ship and by the sound of it the blast had not killed every single creatures.

Once they appeared and spotted the damaged done and their queen gone they were going to be looking for some revenge. It was silent as Riddick stood up aware of Imam and Hassan eyes on his figure as he moved towards where he had dumped the cells. They were covered in blue blood with body pieces covering it.

Knocking them of before lifting it over his shoulder as he started walking in the direction towards the ship with Imam and Hassan slowly following. None of them spoke as they quietly made their way out of the canyon.

The few squeals and screeches that sounded through the air caused Hassan to flinch and move closer towards his father but still Riddick paid them no attention, he was not in the mood as he kept his eyes forward. Furyan's only ever had one mate and he had just lost his, being the last of his kind left him in a disadvantage. He didn't know what happened once a furyan lost their mate and he didn't know how they go on living in the world knowing the one perfect person for them was gone.

The emotions surrounding his heart didn't help and there was one he didn't want to think about at the moment. There was pain, regret, guilt and…..Love. He had loved her and it had taken her dying for him to realize that. The world was a fucked up placed.

Riddick could see the lights of the ship but the back of it was still opened meaning Carolyn hadn't made it and the proof was in front of them. There laying on the ground with a arm reaching towards the ship was Carolyn's half eaten body.

Dark red blood pouring out into the wet ground as chucks of her legs were missing. Riddick gave her no thought, she had ran of, deserted them and chose to go on her own. It was her own fault. He could hear Hassan crying and Imam quickly praying as he moved onto the ship. The other two were still outside as he pressed the cells into their place before the inside lights came on as well as the power.

Strapping himself into the seat as Imam and Hassan quietly made there way onto the ship. As soon as they were clear Riddick shut the back door, waiting as it raised before locking it in place.

"With so much Prayer to make up for, I scarcely know where to begin." Imam admitted as they sat themselves down on the metal chairs with his prayer beads in his hands.

"I know where to start" Hassan muttered,. Riddick flickered a couple of buttons before bright lights shiny out into the dark planet before he slowly pushed the leaver forward half way. Shaking his head as he fought with his mind before releasing the leaver and flickering of the lights once again.

"Mr Riddick, what are you doing?" Imam questioned but he was ignored as they all sat there in silence before metal clanging sounded around them.

"Can we just get out of here now?" Hassan whispered, looking around terrified.

Riddick tilted his head to the side to show he was listening. "We can't leave…" A creature slammed itself against the window to be welcome with Riddick's glaring eyes. "Without saying good night." With that he was quick to push the leaver up, bright light as well as fire surrounded the creatures at the back while the one in the window slowly burn from the bright light shinning at it.

Screeching surrounded the ship before it was bones and blood left as the ship shot into the air, creature's body slamming into the window but Riddick never moved his eyes away from the window as they slowly but finally left the planet behind completely unaware of the bright red eyes that followed the ship.

They were finally heading home…and Riddick was heading back to his hell…without his mate.

A/N I want to cry. Can i cry? That was the last chapter for Pitch Black. I'm actually impressed with myself. I managed to complete a very long fanfiction, finally. I'm gonna miss Riddick, Imam and Hassan, Eva but until next time.
