Naruto opened his eyes to a lush green field where the sun was high in the blue sky but something was wrong to both east and west the sky had changed to purple and red respectively. Naruto confused by this went west he was surprised to find that the grass had turned to sand and tumbleweed rolled by. In the center of the desert was a ragged looking shack. He decided to go inside, which he immediately regretted dried blood and the smell of rotting corpses hit his nose and he nearly puked.

"SO MY IDIOT COUNTERPART CAME TO SEE ME FIRST, I AM HONORED HEHEHEHEH HAAAH HAHAHA HAAAH" Naruto looked around to see himself? But the even more shocking thing was the duplicate had the Oni-me and more obviously was so drenched in blood that its skin had become red.

"Who are you?" asked Naruto.

"I'M YOU, OR AT LEAST A MORE VIOLENT AND MORE AWESOME YOU" said bloody Naruto.

"Explain" demanded Naruto.

"YOU'RE SMART FIGURE IT OUT" retorted bloody Naruto.

Naruto did as his counterpart said and he remembered the match between him and Kurotsuchi "It as you who nearly killed that girl wasn't it?" asked Naruto.

CLAP! CLAP! CLAP! CLAP! "BINGO! NOW WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE BIG IDEA ENDING MY FIGHT HUH?"asked bloody Naruto.

"What are you talking about I didn't even know you existed?!" yelled Naruto.

"The one you are looking for is me"said a voice. Both Naruto's turned around to see a rather gloomy looking version of Naruto, he had pale red eyes with no pupils and wore what looked like pyjamas? Anyways he looked as though he just woke up.

"I stopped you because you make too much noise, how am I supposed to sleep when all you do is laugh and scream?"asked sleepy "Also I suggest that you wake up, Anko is trying to wake you up".

Chapter 10 - Child of Prophecy?

Coming home after having a heated argument with Ibiki and Inoichi about whether or not her boyfriend was a threat to the village had tired Anko out, all she wanted to do was to drop on her bed and not have a care in the world.

Well that was the plan until she saw that her apartment door was slightly ajar. Swiftly pulling out a kunai she snuck into her own apartment, only to find said boyfriend asleep on her sofa.

Face palming herself she remembered that she had given Naruto a key to her apartment, though to be honest she never thought he'd use it anytime soon.

Silently closing the door Anko went to sit on the sofa in which her boyfriend lay… she looked at him for a moment.

Extreme Multiple Personality Disorder, which was the verdict that Inoichi had come to based upon the results the interrogation.

She had only heard of incidents like this and they were truly terrifying…. but for the man that she loved to be affected by this psychological phenomenon scared the life out of her

Taking in his visage as the moonlight glowed upon his alabaster skin making it almost glow. She caressed his face taking in his near feminine features. She remembered what had happened in the exams, how could she not? He had become someone she could not recognize… a being of merciless violence… he was going to destroy that girl, but by some miracle he had come back, stopped that monster and took control.

"How could someone as beautiful and as peaceful as you have so much have so much pent up aggression, that it manifests as a second personality? What did you go through for that to happen my dear? How am I supposed to trust that you won't snap on me like that?" she thought. Her mind was in complete turmoil, could you blame her though?

Hokage Tower

Minato Namikaze sat at his desk in his home office confused, more now than ever after seeing the way his son performed in the chunin exam preliminaries. Was he wrong? was Naruto the child of prophecy? Was Naruto the reincarnation of the Great Sage of Six Paths?

'But Naruto isn't a jinchuriki' he thought ' and he doesn't have the rinnegan. Minato's eyes widened 'but he does have a dojutsu, the only dojututsu feared by both the uchiha and hyuuga, the Oni-Me. The Kekkei Genkai said to have rendered the legendary Madara Uchiha's most powerful genjutsu useless' he thought.

If that is the case the Oni-me, coupled with naruto's ninja training as well as his training in the hiten-mitsurugi-ryu he could devastate a battlefield, and be just as effective if not more than akemi with the kyuubi's power and the hiraishin at her disposal. Just thinking about this nearly made Minato froth at the mouth.

If someone else was in the room they would be able to see the power hungry look on his face.

"Whoa" Minato said, snapping out of the trance he was in "What the hell was that?" he said, not noticing a part of his shadow slither out the window.

Konoha - One Day later

Minato had been informed of Orochimaru's invasion by Ibiki... "YOU INTERROGATED MY SON?!"

Ibiki, surprised repied "it was your suggestion Hokage-sama, you said and I quote 'you'd have to tie him up and beat him senseless before he'll tell you anything about his training with Hiko' so I took it upon myself to have an interrogation done"

"Ibiki, it was a joke, why the hell would I have you interrogate my son for no reason?" asked Minato who was rubbing his temples.

"Ibiki, I am not sarutobi who spoke in crazy brained riddles, although I was curious about his training and the outburst that happened yesterday while fighting the Tsuchikage's granddaughter. To have him interrogated before trying a more practical approach like oh I don't know HIS FATHER ASKING HIM WHAT HAPPENED!, is like giving him the middle finger!" yelled Minato.

Minato slammed his head on the desk, "how am I supposed to explain this to him, better yet how am I going to explain this to Kushina... I cant just say, Honey the reason Naruto is all beat up is because Ibiki jumped the gun and interrogated him" said Minato.

Ibiki stood there watching the hokage talk to himself for the next 20 minutes, he made a mental note to have Inoichi examine Minato's psyche.

Konoha Academy

Akemi sat at her desk annoyed as all hell, reason being that Iruka was going through one of his lectures, 'Seriously? like when are we ever going to use this crap in ninja situation. If im stuck in a life and death situation, how the hell does knowing who the first Hokage is and what he did help me ?'

She was right, but she didn't want to risk getting yelled at by Iruka sensei for making him mad, and the first five years of the academy a joke, which honestly was.

But enough was enough, it was 1 pm and she hadn't seen her older brother since yesterday morning, which meant he was at the witch's house, yes she referred to Anko Mitarashi as the witch, the Wicked Snake Witch of konoha to be exact.

Akemi didn't like Anko (as if the name "Wicked Snake Witch of Konoha" didn't make that obvious), why... well she got in the way of her... "Naruto Time". Now that her brother was an official ninja her "Naruto Time" was cut drastically and the "witch" would come around and snatch him away during her "Naruto Time".

Determined to get her "Naruto Time" ( AN: I'm soo sorry, I had to) she made a shadow clone (remember trained by parents for a while) and performed Kawarimi with it, putting her outside on a tree branch outside the window of the classroom, she then set off to the Wicked Snake Witch of Konoha's domain to rescue her brother from her clutches.

Uchiha Training Grounds

Sasuke has just finished his last set of pull ups and was about to start on his cardio, he had kept thinking about Naruto's battle with Kurotsuchi, about the power that emanated off of him when he had come out of the crater.

It was inhuman, like nothing he'd ever felt before. Dare he say it was even stronger than anything he'd ever felt coming from Itachi. Sasuke wanted that power, he wanted it so he could crush Hiko Seijuro, or as Naruto called him Niitsu Kakunoshin and his brother Itachi, Sasuke now understood after talking to his mother that Itachi indeed hadn't been the one to slaughter his clan but the fact remained that Itachi did betray not only Konoha but the clan, and for that he would make sure Itachi was properly punished for it. He would get that power, even if he had to steal it from Naruto.
