Chapter 9: A New Mystery To Reveal

The Kingdom of Fiore.
A Neutral Country with a population of 17 million people.
It is a world of magic.
It is bought and sold everywhere like normal items
A Kingdom where magic is deeply engrained in the people's lives.
There are even some who make a living using magic.
These people are known as the wizards.
These wizards belong to many different guilds and accept jobs brought to them.
There are many guilds scattered all over Fiore, but there is a certain guild in a certain town..a guild were countless legends were once born-nay one that will continue to make legends well into the future.
It's name is Fairy Tail.
Today is the beginning of another legend, someone who has gained the power of an ancient Magic...the Mage known as... Wizard!

[FAIRY, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?]
As the song starts, the scene shows a night sky, as several ethereal fairies fly through, followed by several Garuda Plamonsters
[hikari zenbu atsumete kimi no ashita terasu yo]
The scene changes to show a city at night, followed by a boat sailing, before switching to a shot of Cody from behind with Wizardragon by his side as they look up at the night sky, before the scene shifts up to the sky as the title appears
[OH YEAH! kikoeten no kako no koe wa?]
The scene shifts to show Lucy, Natsu, and Happy standing on a hill watching over the city, before the three of them turn towards the screen (Lucy is smiling gently, while Natsu and Happy have big grins), with Happy lifting up his paw, which has the Land Ring in it.
[OH YEAH! karetatte sakebu kara]
The scene shifts to show Grey standing amongst the ruins of a town, before he sees something on the ground and picks it up. He then turns towards the screen, and we can see that what he picked up was the Water Ring
[OH YEAH! kikoeru made kimi no kokoro ga]
The scene shifts to show Erza standing over a monster she killed, holding something in her hand. As the screen has a close up of her, we see that she has the Hurricane Ring
[OH YEAH! OH YEAH!]
The scene shifts to show Cody from behind, before he turns around and grins at the screen as he lifts up his hand, showing off the Flame Ring, as the Plamonsters jump up behind him
[tsuki to taiyou no haitacchi]
The scene changes to show the team riding a train, with Natsu being hopelessly motion sick, Happy fanning him, Lucy reading a map, Cody idly chatting with Grey (in an attempt to ignore the trail of sick coming out of Natsu's mouth), while Erza is somehow eating a cake despite said trail of sick.
[wasuremono wanai desuka?]
The scene changes to show the team sitting around a camp fire, with Natsu and Happy stuffing their faces, while Cody is calmly munching on his food. Lucy looks at them with a deadpan expression, while Grey seems to be reading something, ignoring them, while Erza is leaning against their luggage, seemingly asleep
[okashii na kimi ga inai to hoshii mono sae mitsukaranai]
The scene changes again to show Cody leaning against a street lamp with a frown (thinking about his old, empty life) as a faded image of WizarDragon hovers over him, before he turns towards the screen, before the scene shifts to show his teammates and Mirajane waving at him, causing him to grin and wave back.
[SNOWING sunao ni egao ni nareta no wa]
The screen then shows various shots of the team as they go through various miss-adventures, such as running away from an angry wyvern, fighting off killer plants, or simply arguing with each other when not on missions
[futari yorisoi kasane atta "jikan" ga aru kara]
The scene then shows Cody (as Wizard) looking towards the distance, as an image of the White Wizard is seen, standing in front of an eclipse. The scene then changes to show the various members of Fairy Tail, all of which are waving happily at the screen.
[FAIRY, WHERE ARE YOU GOING? hikari zenbu atsumete kimi no ashita terasu yo]
Cody is seen with a grin on his face, before transforming into Wizard Flame Style, as images of the other Styles appear, followed by a shot of Wizard being enveloped in flames shaped like a dragon, before the flames disperse, revealing Wizard in Flame Dragon Style, before shifting to a shadowed image of All Dragon Style, which is then encased in diamonds, before breaking apart to reveal a shadowed image of Wizard Infinity Style, before releasing a massive blast of energy into the sky
[DON'T SAY GOODBYE!]
The final scene shows the Cody and his teammates charging towards a group of Phantoms, followed by a scene of Wizard Flame Dragon Style having a friendly match with Natsu, as their magic clashes and envelops the screen in a bright light, which disperses, revealing Cody with a big grin as he and his friends stand in front of the Fairy Tail building.

A battle occurred for possessing The Flute of Zeref!

But thanks to Cody and the others The Guild Masters are safe!

In the Council building in Era...
The Era Magic Council members are gathered in a secret room discussing about the incident in Clover.
"Even though the Eisenwald Guild may have been defeated, it's only one defeat in a much larger battle." Said one of the members.
"Agreed. The number of Dark Guild are increasing by the day." Said another member.
"We need to come up with something to eliminate them all." Said another.
"The bigger question is how we do that? plus we need to make sure none of Zeref's magic to fall into their hands." Said one of the members. he had a long beard and was holding the extremely damaged Lullaby flute in a sealed container.
"I'm more of curious on how Eisenwald could locate and obtain it?" Asked another member who was old with an odd hat and an orange turtle neck.
"Even so.. however the case may be, Although they are usually a thorn in our sides it seems Fairy Tail did something useful after all. One less Dark Guild to worry about." Said another member.
This time it was a young man with blue hair, a white trench coat and odd markings on his right side of his face both above and under his eye.
"They took down an entire guild with only six members.. that is quite a feat for them even i do say so myself.." Said another member.
This one was that of a young woman wearing a white kimono giggling at Fairy Tail's antics.
Most of the members were arguing at that point stating Fairy Tail should be counted for the damage they have done while the rest defend them cause of the good they did as well.
"You may not want to accept it. But the attack of the Guild Masters were averted as well as the many lives in Clover. And in the end none of us had to give up our position in this council to face it..." Said the blue haired male.
"ENOUGH OF THIS NONSENSE!" Yelled the elder member holding Lullaby.
Everyone stopped and looked at him as he began to talk again.
"All of Fairy Tail's good deeds are still overshadowed by their reckless destruction!" He stated as he was determined to get rid of Fairy Tail before they cause anymore destruction.
"Well then... shall we discuss this matter further?" Asked the blue haired man.
It has only been a day since the incident with Eisenwald and Clover.
And yet the news about it has spreaded all across Magnolia.
I only just grabbed the paper today but it seemed this way going way out of what everyone was expecting...
But... It wasn't all bad.
All of Eisenwald was taken to jail. Even Kageyama. But... Erigor wasn't found...
Even though he landed right near the Guild Masters Conference hall and moved to a safe placed before it got destroyed he's now missing...
I know for a fact we'll cross paths again.. and i know he'll try to take his revenge on me. I then shook it off to read the rest of the paper.
I then read what the people in Clover and at Oshibana station had to say...
"Even though they did tear up the station they saved all of us from Eisenwald!"
"They saved me and my family from their attacks here."
"They may have destroyed the Guild Master Conference hall but they not only save us but they even somehow revealed a gold mine in the mountain near by!"
"Thank you Fairy Tail!"
I smiled brightly at this. I never knew I could be apart of something not only this big but show others and get the recognition of what we did.
Man... back at home this would never have happened... Even if it did I'm sure my government would blame the whole group and sentence us to life in prison while the real criminals would only be there for 2 months then be set free...
[Stop dwelling on the past boy... It's time to let go.]
I sighed.
"I know Dragon... but it's very hard to... I've been there my whole life and now here I am... A Wizard of an amazing Guild, having many people care for me... Hell.. Even becoming a Kamen Rider. It's just hard to transcribe from my old dull life to this new one. I am getting used to it but it's still hard to let go of everything back at home." I said as I reassured Dragon about my predicament.
[Of course... but when will you tell your "friends" about your old life?]
"I... I don't know... possibly soon... But hey at least Master knows. I'm sure he'll understand at keeping this secret until I'm ready." I said still reassuring Dragon again.
Just as I was about to get up I heard a knock at the door?
Wonder who that is?
I opened it then to see Master Makarov standing there.
"Oh hey there Master. What's up?" I asked him.
"Cody... may I come in? I would like to talk to you about this... "Sealing Magic" You possess?" He asked me.
I just sighed.
Knew this was coming...
"Of course Master. Come in." I said as I opened the door further to let him in.
We then sat in my living room to talk about it as I placed Engage on the table. Master Makarov picked it up and examined it.
"So... this it the spell that could potentially seal someone's magic for good?" He asked me.
I simply nodded.
Makarov then sighed and placed it back down onto the table.
"Cody... I know you're scared... Scared of losing new friends and possibly a new life again since what you told me before." He said to me as I kept my head lowered.
"And you are young as well. You will make mistakes and you will have to live with that. But..." He said as he got up and walked over to the screen door.
"But?" I asked.
"But you were not in the wrong. You knew what you had to do and you took it. So if you're wondering if you will be kicked from the guild or even your magic taken away. Don't worry..." Makarov said before turning to me and smiling.
"You'll be fine. Like I said. I am very proud of you my boy. You're becoming a fine Wizard." Makarov said before place his hand on my shoulder.
I just smiled brightly. Plus how couldn't I? something about this guild just makes me smile.
"Thank you Master." I said before bowing to him in respect.
"Of course. Now! You must hurry back to the guild. Don't want the others to be kept waiting now do ya?" Makraov said before heading towards the door.
"Others? For what Master?" I asked him out of curiosity.
"Why your match with Erza of course." He said.
"Match? I don't recall asking for a match with her." I said.
"Oh I know that. She's the one who wanted it." He said as he walked out of the door.
Erza wants to face me? Guess she wants to try her skills against mine...
I was in thought for a bit before smiling.
Eh? Why not? I don't mind a friendly competition. Plus I get the change to test out some new rings as well! And I can see if my skill is either on par with hers or even greater!
I grinned as I ran out from my house to catch up with Master Makrarov.
As we arrived there was already a huge crowd. Mostly of all of the Fairy Tail members. Others were people who either knew our guild or just wanted to see what was going on.
Natsu on the other hand was pouting.
"What's wrong Natsu?" Asked Lucy as she just arrived.
"Natsu is just upset that Erza choose to fight Cody instead of him." Happy said as he nibbled on some fish.
Natsu just mumbled and growled saying if he could fight both of us he would win.
"Man.. everyone must be excited for this match.." Said Lucy.
As she turned to her left she sees Happy and Natsu betting against me.
"What is wrong with you two?!" Lucy asked in annoyance.
"What? Just cause Cody is a friend doesn't mean we can't bet against him." Said Natsu.
"I'll place $20 on Erza!" Happy said as he handed Cana some money.
Cana took the money and add a tally onto a board with Erza's and my names on it. Showing almost everyone was betting against me.
Geez... Talk about loyal to your friends huh?
I sighed as I looked at Erza as she stood there calmly ready for the fight to begin.
"So Erza! What armor do you plan on using against the new guy?" Asked Elfman.
"To be fair I have no clue..." She said as she summoned one of her weapons into her had.
"So I'll just go with this!" She exclaimed while getting into a stance.
"Good choice Erza! Rather see what I could do more then just guess huh?" I said before placing on Driver On.
DRIVER ON - PLEASE?
My belt then formed around me as I took out Flame first and placed it on.
"Correct Cody... this match will be something..." Erza said while giving a small grin.
I just chuckled.
"Well then... Areuze, Tometemina! HENSHIN!" I said before donning on Flame Style.
FLAME - PLEASE? HII... HII... HII HII HII!
My red fire spell seal construct appeared next to my left side and passes through me. As it does I have donned on my Flame Style Armor.
CONNECT - PLEASE?
The same seal construct appears and I reach in to pull out my WizardRevoler in sword mode. I then get in a stance ready to begin.
"Round one start!" Exclaimed Makrarov.
And right when the bell rings, Erza and I charge at each other and clash our blades. We then proceed to hold our blades and not give any openings.
"I must say Cody... You have an excellent swordsmanship. Where did you learn such techniques?" Erza asked me.
I just chuckled. "Would you believe me that I'm just making this up as I go?" I replied.
Erza then grinned. "No.. I would not."
She then broke the hold and charged right back at me swing and twirling her blade at me.
I parried each one with my own sword form. But oddly enough I was telling the truth.
I never had any sword training. I'm just remembering every form and movement from any movie or tv show I watched in my youth that had to do with a sword.
Mostly toku though. Since this is Wizard's power, I am mostly using his Swordsmanship skills.
I then kicked her away which she did block by crossing her arms. I then jumped back to gain some room to switch out some rings.
"I think not Cody!" Erza exclaimed before donning on some new armor for her in an instant.
And just then four chains fly at me and pins me to a wall. I struggle with all my might but I can't seem to budge.
I look back to see Erza's new armor.
It had a silver breastplate with some gold and teal ribbons on it, two slim shoulder pads with the same teal ribbons on it, her arms were covered in teal bandages, then besides a teal skirt her leggings were also out of the same ribbons like material around her arms, her shoes were well.. just that. Just shoes with one teal ribbon on them. She was then holding two tonfas with chains wrapped around it and from the top and the bottom of the tonfas are the chains connected to my arms and legs. And finally on top of her head was a teal ribbon wrapped around a metal chain.
"This is a new armor I just picked up for this special occasion. Meet my Teal Chain Armor. Not only does my speed increase but I get these nifty chains that I can control with a mere thought." Erza explained as I grunted in frustration.
"I've seen how you fight Cody. Besides using that weapon of yours. You rely on distracting the opponent with your sword play before switching out your current rings with other ones that might give you an advantage." Erza explained again.
Damn... she is good... Better than I thought...
Everyone was clapping and cheering at Erza.
"Wow... She's strong..." Said Lucy as she watched our battle in awe.
"Erza isn't called the strongest female wizard in Fairy Tail for nothing." Grey said.
"I guess this means Cody lost huh?" Happy said.
Natsu chuckled and grinned. "It's not over yet guys... Cody still may have something up his sleeve." Natsu told them.
They all looked at Natsu for a second then back at the battle.
"So I guess this means I win huh Cody?" Asked Erza.
I grinned and started to chuckle.
"Erza... You are right about how I battle... But you should've gotten something to block everything I can do. Not just bind my arms and legs..." I said to her.
She looked at me with some confusion before realizing her mistake.
"What does he mean by that?" Asked Lucy.
Natsu turned to her with a big smile on his face.
"Haven't you forgotten what Cody's weapon can do Lucy?" Natsu asked her.
She also thought for a moment then realized as well.
"The bullets for his weapon respond to his will!" Lucy exclaimed.
"DING DING! We have a winner!" I exclaimed as I Flicked my weapon to turn it back into gun mode. I then pulled the trigger on my weapon.
Several bullets shot out of it and flew right at Erza.
She may block some but not all!
Erza jumped back but to no vail. Some of the bullets hit her armor and some hit her weapon.
Erza then glowed as she changed from her Teal Chain Armor to her Heaven's Wheel Armor to defend herself. And luckily for me her chains that were binding me were gone.
"Circle Sword!" Erza yelled.
Several swords appear around her and started to spin as quickly as possible to block and stop my bullets.
Every single blade stopped all of the bullets I fired at her and she smiled and chuckled.
"I can't believe I was that careless... I completely forgot your weapon could do that Cody. I'm impressed." Said Erza.
I smiled under my mask.
"Thanks Erza. But shall we being with the real battle?" I asked before placing on the two rings I needed for now.
"Yes.. lets..." Erza said before grabbing two of her swords.
"Ikouze then!" I yelled to her.
I then flipped the Hand Author to change into Water Style. I then moved my left hand in front of me as my seal construct appears. But this time it was blue with a watery effect to it.
WATER - PLEASE? SUI.. SUI.. SUI.. SUI!
The blue seal passes through me as I don on Water Style.
"Changing your armor style? I don't think it will help! En'Garde Cody!" Erza yelled before charging right at me.
I smirked under my mask again as I flipped the Hand Author again to the right side.
LEPARCH MAGIC! TOUCH GO! ... LEPARCH MAGIC! TOUCH GO! ... LEPARCH MAGIC! TOUCH GO! ...
I then placed my rand hand onto the belt.
LIQUID - PLEASE?
I then just stood there waiting for Erza to attack me.
"What the? Why isn't he moving or planning to defend himself?!" Asked a worried Lucy.
"I have no clue. But I'm also a bit worried on this tactic..." Said Grey.
Erza then thrusted he blade towards me and it pierces through.
Everone gasped in horror and even Erza was frightened that she just killed me.
I then chuckle a bit.
"Sorry about that little shock everyone. But I'm fine." I said to them all to calm everyone down.
"Fine?! You just got pierced by a sword!" Exclaimed Grey.
"True I did. But Once I'm in Water Style there's one ring that can only work for it." I said to them as I raised my right hand to show the ring.
"Liquid. Pretty much I literally become water!" I exclaimed as my whole body formed into water and surged around Erza.
Erza then struggled to throw me off but to no vail she couldn't even attack me.
Everyone was still a bit shocked at what happened as they kept watching.
"Master is their such a magic that he can do that?" Asked Mira.
"I have heard of one type of Water like Magic that could do it.. but so far there's no one alive that could pull it off correctly... And yet.. He can... His magic truly is fascinating..." Said Makarov.
I kept surging around Erza until I formed back to normal and tosses her into the ground.
"Shall we end this Erza?" I asked her as I got in a stance.
Erza smirked as she got in her own stance. "Agreed... Let's..." She said as magic energy poured out from her.
I grinned as I did the same. I then opened up the Hand Author on my weapon.
C'MON AND SLASH SHAKE THE HANDS... C'MON AND SLASH SHAKE THE HANDS... C'MON AND SLASH SHAKE THE HANDS...
I then placed on my Water ring to give it some more power.
WATER - SLASH STRIKE! SUI SUI SUI... SUI SUI SUI... SUI SUI SUI...
Water then formed around the blade as I take one last deep breath.
Erza and I then looked at each other and ran towards one another to end this fight.
But right when our blade are about to clash a loud clap echoed into the air.
Me and Erza stopped our attack as everyone looked to see who it was who stopped our fight?
Just then someone... or.. something walked up to us... and... it was a frog... A human sized frog.
I know I shouldn't be surprised cause of how this wacky world works. But it still baffles me.
"This fight is now over!" Said the frog... lady... thing.
It then walked over to were Erza was and looked at her for a second.
"May I have all of your attention please! I came here on the behalf of the Magic Council!" Said the frog.
The Magic Council?
Everyone was then murmuring on what do they want?
"As a result with the Eisenwald incident, a member of your guild has been charged with all of the criminal property damage." Said the frog.
I just sighed.
Guess the jig is up huh?
[Well you did do the most damage.]
I know I know...
I was about to walk up to it and face the music... but...
"Erza Scarlet! You are under arrest!" Said the frog.. lady... thing. Ugh i still can't get over that...
Several guards surround Erza as she was taken towards a jail carriage.
"What in the world? Why is Erza being taken to jail? I know I was the one who did the most damage there!" I said as I clentched my fist in anger.
"Let it go boy..." Said Makarov.
I looked at him with such confusion.
"I know you're angry... But now is not the time.." Said Makarov.
I lowered my head to accept Master's wish... but i was still pissed off.
"But Cody... I do have a mission for you..." Said Makarov.
I then looked at him wondering what it was?
It hasn't been very long since Erza was taken by the Magic Council. Everyone was either in shock or ticked off. I couldn't blame them.
Natsu on the other hand... Well he was turned into an actual Salamander and placed under a cup.
"Come on guys! Let me out of here!" Natsu asked of us.
"No way! If we did you would go after Erza!" Lucy replied.
"I could care less what happens to her!" Natsu replied back with a scoff.
"Even if you wanted to help her, there's no way we could go up against the Magic Council..." Grey said somewhat sadly.
"But don't those jerks at the council realize that Erza had to do what she could to help save everyone?!" Natsu replied back.
"If the Magic Council says "You're guilty" Then there's nothing we can do about it..." Grey replied back.
I sighed and turned my attention towards the other members.
Everyone was just desvistated at this whole thing.
"I just dont understand.. we destroyed many other things and the Council didn't care before. But why now?" Elfman asked.
That is a good question.. Why this? And Why Erza?
Several ideas came to me but since I had no evidence I couldn't do anything...
Man... what would I give to use the Gaia Library now... With that I could possibly find the solution on it all...
I sighed again as I turned my attention back to Natsu and the others.
Lucy then stood up as I saw the anger in her eyes.
"This is wrong! We need to be there to testify!" Lucy exclaimed.
"I'm sorry Lucy but we're not going to court!" Makarov replied.
"Why not master?! She's our friend! We need to be there for her! Plus we all know she's innocent. We can't just sit here and let them lock her away!" Lucy replied back.
"Even if we did we wouldn't make it in time." Makarov explained.
Lucy then looked towards me with worried eyes.
"Don't you have-"
I then just raised up my hand in defense.
"Sorry Lucy.. But even with Accelerate I don't think I would be able to make it in time either. And Connect won't take me there either since I have no idea what it looks like or where it is." I told her.
Lucy then just lowered her head in defeat. I still couldn't blame her. All of us want to help but we have no way to do it... Well... almost everyone...
"I've been stuck under here all day you guys! Can someone let me out?! I'm running out of air here!" Natsu asked us.
"You sure you want out of there?" Makarov asked.
But then Natsu just stopped and thought for a second.
Makarov grinned. "What's the matter Natsu? Seems you lost the fire in your belly..." Makraov said.
Just then Makarov hit Natsu with a small blast of magic knocking him form the cup and onto the floor.
A puff of smoke filled the area for a second and instead of Natsu, Macao was there. I only met and talked with him a couple of times though.
"MACAO?! THAT WAS YOU?!" Said almost everyone there.
"Yeah.. sorry guys.. But I owed Natsu since he saved me awhile back..." Macao explained.
I just grinned.
Looks like Master was right...
"Wait... if you're here does that mean..." Lucy asked.
"Natsu went after Erza... Just like I thought..." Makarov said.
"You knew this would happen Master?" Asked Mirajane.
He simply nodded.
"Then we need to get going right now!" Exclaimed Grey.
"Now now... No need to worry... I already had a plan." Makarov stated.
"Really? And what would that be then?" Asked Elfman.
Makarov then looked towards me.
"Are you already inside Cody?" Asked Makarov.
I nodded. "Yes Master. I already had Garuda follow Natsu. I'm close to him right now. But he is moving really fast... I don't think I'll be able to stop him from breaking in and stopping the council's punishment." I replied.
"I see... then try to at least take him out quick before he causes too much damage." Makarov asked me.
I nodded. "Roger." I said.
Just then my seal construct appeared below me and as it moved upwards and passed through me I slowly started to disappear until I wasn't there anymore.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD?!" Exclaimed everyone.
They all then gathered around where I was trying to see where I went to.
"Where did he go?!" Asked Grey.
"He just vanished!" Replied Elfman.
"How did he do that?" Asked Lucy.
Mirajane looked at Master Makarov.
"Plan?" She asked curiously.
Makarov grinned as he explained to the others about his plan.
*Flashback*
"But Cody... I do have a mission for you..." Makraov asked the young Rider.
Cody looked at him confusingly.
"And that would be?" Cody replied wanting to know more.
"Well... before I do. Can I ask what type of magic you have?" Makarov asked him.
"Well... many... It might take too long to name off each spell I have Master." Cody replied to him.
"Well... do you have any spells for tracking and being at two places at once?" Makarov asked him.
Cody nodded.
"Good. I want you to keep an eye on Natsu... knowing him he's going to follow Erza and try to force the Magic Council to give her back or something even more reckless.." Makraov explained.
"I need you to track him and bring him back beofre anything gets out of hand.. But if the other members catch on about this the plan might not work. So I need to you follow Natsu and be at Fairy Tail till your mission is complete." Makraov explained more.
Cody took a deep breath and sighed.
"Man... Natsu sure can be such a pain..." Cody said in a sarcastic way.
Makarov chuckled. "Yes he can be. Now please get going alright?" Asked Makarov.
Cody nodded as he placed on a new ring.
GARUDA - PLEASE?
Just then a small redish plate appears with limbs, wings, a body, and a head on it that looks similar to toys pieces.
The pieces then formed into a small red bird like creature. Cody then took off the ring and placed it in the creatures chest.
The plate vanishes but the creatue stays as it chirps and flies around both the wizards.
Cody then places on another one and uses it.
CERBERUS -PLEASE?
Another plate appears but it's black instead.
The pieces then form into a black three headed dog. Cody then places the ring again but this time the ring looks like it's part of the black creatures collar.
It barks as it runs around the wizards as well.
"So this is your tracking method?" Makarov asked.
"Yes master." Cod replied before pointing to the red Plamonsters.
"His name is Aero. He's one of my many familiars. He specializes not only in aerial tracking. But he can also sense any type of magic we may need him to track." Cody says while petting Garuda.
Cody then kneels down and pets the black dog Plamonster.
"And this is Terra. He specializes in recon and is the best tracker for finidng Natsu just in case Garuda can't pikc up his magic trail." Cody replied.
Makaraov was a bit astonished at this new spell but he simply nodded.
"They're called Plamonsters. They're unique familiars I can use to help me." Cody explained before placing on a new ring.
COPY - PLEASE?
Just then a red seal appears below and next to Cody. But as the one under him passes through the second seal next to him follows the other one.
And as they both travel upwards the second seal materializes another exact clone copy of Cody.
Makarov was even more surprised at this.
[So... his magic can do all of this? He certainly gifted with such talent...] Makarov thought as the other cody went back to Fairy Tail.
"Make sure you keep in contact at all times." Makraov stated as he handed Cody a Communication Lacrima.
Cody nodded as he summoned his bike and drove after where the Plamonsters were headed.
*Flashback Ends*
"And if I'm right.. Cody will bring Natsu back before he causes too much trouble." Makraov stated.
"And if not?" Aksed Mirajane.
"Then... Let us hope that the Magic Council will be merciful..." Makarov said before looking out at the window.
*Inside the Magic Council Fiore Building Branch Building*
After a long trip I reached inside the building where Natsu, Erza and the Magic Council are at.
But it was a lot more guarded than I thought! Thank god I used Small to get in. If ot I would be fucked...
I looked around as fast as I could to try and find Natsu. Too bad both Aero and Terra's times were out. Otherwise it would be a snap.
Uni, Aqua, Gryph, and Slick work better if Aero or Terra were still around... Plus rather not spend more mana than I already have.
Ah, mou! This is taking forever! I really wished there was an Invinisble Spell I could use...
[Quit complaining. You're getting close.]

[*Scoffs* You really think less of me don't you? Even though I am a Phantom I'm also still a dragon. And us dragons can sense powerful magic from planets away! Plus this boys magic is... familiar...]
Oh! I get it... Due to his Fire Dragon Slayer magic you're able to sense him no matter where he's at?
[Exactly. Now. Turn to your right then head straight. Then take one more turn and you'll find him]

I then used accelerate to speeds my efforts up to find him. Let's just hope I can make it in time before he-

Ugh... Too late...
I then discontinued Small as I rushed towards where that explosion erupted from.
I turned the last corner to find a hole in a wall.
Is this it?
"I am the all powerful Erza! You thought I was destructive before? Just wait till you see this!" Yelled Natsu.
Yup... this is the place...
I took a small peek to see what was happening.
So far Natsu was just blowing the floors and walls trying to get the Council's attention. Most of them including Erza was just shocked and confused at what Natsu was doing.
All but one person... the young wizard with blue hair and odd markings on his right eye. He seemed to be enjoying himself.
"Do you really think the stuff I destroyed is more important than the Guild Masters lives?!" Natsu yelled to them as he kept desrtoying almost everything around him.
Ugh... Natsu you really are an idiot...
I sighed as I placed on Bind to end this little incident. I hoped the Council would understand and forgive us or something. But I wasn't holding my breath.
BIND - PLEASE?
"Eh?" Natsu said as he stopped moving around.
Several small version of my seal appear all around Natsu as chains appear form it and starts binding Natsu till he couldn't move.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Said Natsu as he tried to struggle to get free.
This spell... Please don't tell me he's here too... Erza thought as she mentally facepalmed herself in embarassment.
I sighed for relief that my spell stopped Natsu in his tracks.
I then moved from my spot and to towards where Natsu is.
I then sighed again. "Natsu.. you really can be an idiot sometimes..." I told him as everyone turned their attention towards me.
He is... Oh god... Erza thought again as she sighed.
"Cody?! What are you doing here?! And why did you tie me up?!" Asked Natsu.
"Master aksed me to follow you just in case you were about to do something stupid. But I was a bit too late..." I replied back as I walked up to where Natsu is being binded at.
But before I could do anything several guards rush in and poin their spears at me and Natsu.
Then one of the Council members stood up.
"Take them away..." Sighed the Head Council Chairman.
Erza then bowed to them to show her sincerity. "I'm truly sorry for this your honor..." She said to them.
"What are you doing Erza?! Don't Apologize to these Council jerks!" Natsu exclaimed to her.
I sighed again as we were all about to be taken away.
"All but this one right young wizard. We would like to speak with him privately..." Said the Chairman.
Me? Wonder what they want?
"Your honror! If he is about to be punished lease don't do it! I'll take his punishment instead!" Erza asked the council.
The Chairman then waves his hand in defense.
"He's not in trouble. We just would like to talk is all." He replied to her.
Erza sighed as she and Natsu were taken away to a cell.
Natsu as always struggled and tried to escape but to no vail.
I then approached the stand to see what they want.
"So... You're the young wizard everyone has been talking about?" Asked the Chairman.
"Yes your honor. and I do apologize for Natsu's... Behavor..." I said to them.
"It is quite alright. In fact no one was really in any trouble." He replied.
I was a bit confused by this. "Really? Then... what was all of this for?" I asked them.
"To maintain order. If we ust let every guild do as they please then what;s the point for this Council? She was just a scapegoat. A means to show what would happen if a guild went too far or too wild to be contorled. Erza Scarelt was in no real danger here." He explained.
I sighed for relief. "Yokatta..." I said in relief.
The council was a bit confsued by my language.
"Excuse me but what did you say?" Asked one of the elder members.
Damn it...
"Well.. it means many things. "I'm glad", "Thank goodness", and a few others. It's a word meaning a general expression of relief in that everything is okay." I explained to them.
"I see... very interesting..." He said.
"Now.. If I may ask... may we see this... "Armor" Of yours that we have heard about?" Asked the blue haired council member.
I nodded as i activated my driver.
DRIVER ON - PLEASE?
I then place on Flame to ge things started.

"Henshin!" I yelled as I placed on Flame.
FLAME - PLEASE? HII... HII... HII HII HII!
I then moved my left arm to my left side as my red spell seal construct appeared and started to pass through me.
As it does I don on my Flame Style armor to them all.
And they of course were all very surprised at this.
"Impressive..." Said the blue haired council member.
"I truly have never seen any magic like this before." Said another member.
"It is quite fascinating..." Said the female member.
After they all whispered a bit they turned their attention to me.
"So... may I ask why did you want me?" I asked them.
"Well. We need your help young man." Asked one of them.
"My help? With what?" I asked them again.
"There's been an odd disturbance in a town called Hareyakana Village. People have been missing quite a lot lately." Said one of the members.
"At first we thought it was just kidnappings and we didn't think we needed to interfere." Said another.
I clentched my fist in anger.
You didn't need to interfere with it just cause it was kidnapping?!
"But... lately more people started to disappear... but oddly enough just a few days ago one of the fisher man said he saw something taking them..." Said another one.
"What did he see?" I asked them.
"Some... odd creatures. It dragged the civillians across the beach then... they just... turned to dust or they became transparent husks..." He explained.
My eyes widen in shock.
N-No way... Orphnochs and Fangires?! But.. how?
The blue haired council member then grinned.
"Seems you know them..." He asked me.
"Y-Yeah.. I know them..." I replied to him.
"So... I take it you'll take the job?" he asked me.
I raised my head to them as my seal passes through me again and I'm back in my normal form.
"Yeah... I'll take this job." I replied to them.
If Kaijin like this are in this world I have no choice but to help.
"Excellent... You are dismissed then along with Erza Scarlet and that other wizard." Said the Chairman.
I nodded and bowed as I left the Council Building.
After a long trip back home we finally rwached Fairy Tail. Everyone was happy to know nothing truly bad happened to us.
"YYYEEAHHH! It's great to be back home! Oh how I missed such fresh air! I'm never going to take it for granted again!" Natsu yelled as he ran all over Fairy Tail excited not to be locked up.
"I can't believe that stupid arrest was just for show... I was freaking out over it..." Lucy said while having her face layed own on the table.
Everyone was very happy that Erza wasn't really in big trouble. But still... all that worrying was for nothing.
"That reminds me. Cody! Still plan on face against Erza and seeing who's the best?" Asked Elfman.
I just waved it off. "Nah.. not right now. We're both a little tired and we just wanna relax. Plus I'm sure I would've lost." I said to them.
"Really? Why is that? Were you just not Man enough to win it?" Elfman asked.
"No not at all. I'm more than ready to fight again. But that last attack we were about to do I could tell she was prepared to counter it and strike me down easily." I replied.
Natsu then grinned as fire enveloped his fists as he charged Erza.
"Then if you're not going to then I will! Come on Er-"
Erza then turned around real quickly as she punched Natsu in the gut hard. Knocking him out cold.
"And we have a winner." I chuckled jokingly.
Everyone then just laughed at Natsu's iggnorance.
I then walked over to the bar as Mira gave me my usual order. A large cup of Berry Soda. Missed having some of the stuff where I'm from but this is a good subitute.
As I took a few sips I looke dover to see Makarov about to doze off.
"Master? What's wrong?" Mirajane asked.
"I'm fine. Just a little sleeply..." Makraov replied.
Sleeply? At this time of day?
"He's coming..." Makarov said.
He?
Just then everything seemed to change in the whole Guild Hall.
I felt... so weak...
I then looked over to see Mirajane collapse first.
What's... going on...
"Not again..." Grey said before passing out next.
"Why now? I was just about to go on a job..." Nab said before passing out and his job flier flying out of the Guild Hall.
One by one everyone seemed to just pass out. I was just about to as well. But before I did I looked up to see... someone...
He was in a dark blue cloak while carrying a staff. He also had bandages covering his arms and legs.
His head was also covered were you can only see his eye. Whoever he is... he was... just too powerful...
Everything then went black as I collapsed on the floor.
The strange guild member then grabs a flier and and starts to walk back out.
"Wait... Lift your sleeping spell before you leave..." Makrarov asked him.
The hooded mage nodded as he walks towards the door.
"5..."
"4..."
"3..."
"2..."
"1..."
And just as he came he was gone in an instant.
Everyone then slowly started to wake up. Well... all but Natsu that is.
"Ugh... damn... what was that?" I asked I got up to stretch.
"Was that really Mystogan? That bastard..." Said Jet.
"Does he always have to put us to sleep everytime he gets here?" Asked Levy.
"Mystogan?" I asked as I turned towards Mirajane.
"He's one of the contenders for Fairy Tail's strongest wizard. Next to Erza and two others." Mirjanae explained.
"Not to mention everytime he comes back form a mission he put everyone to sleep. Only the Master has actually sen his face." Grey explained.
"That's not true. I've seen what Mysotgan looks like." Said a voice above me.
I took a few steps back to look up to the upper floor.
And standing there leaning against the railing is another wizard I have not seen yet.
He was about 6ft 8inch. With birhgt yellow hair. He had a scar on his left eye in the shape of a lightning bolt.
He also had headphones on resembling electric conductors. He wore a mustard colored shirt with camo makring on it as well as a fur coat.
"Laxus? Talk about rare... you're never here." Said Elfman.
Everyone seemed to gather near the upper floor as Laxus stood there grinning.
"And here's another contender..." Said Grey.
"Mystogan is just a little shy. You should really respect his privacy..." Said Laxus.
Natsu then finally woke up as he jumped back up.
"You and me Laxus! Right here right now!" Natsu exclaimed.
Laxus just laughed. "If you and that new weakling Ring Wizard can't beat the red head then why bother?" Laxus said while taunting us.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Erza said as pure anger poured out of her.
"I'm saying that I'm the Guild's strongest wizard!" Laxus proclaimed.
Natsu then grolwed as he tried to go upstairs but he was stopped by Makarov.
"You're not allowed on the upper floor Natsu!" Makarov said as he pushed him back to where he was.
"The strongest wizard in the guild isn't some chick, a hooded weirdo, or even a unique mage with rings. You wanna who it really is? You're looking right at him!" Laxus proclaimed as he vanished in a flash of lightning.
Natsu grumbled in anger as Laxus left.
"Wait... "A unique mage with rings"? Why was he talking about me?" I asked as I looked at Mirajane.
"Well to be fair, You're really working up in the ranks here Cody. You not only help take down a very powerful dark guild but also destroying one of Zeref's demons? You're really becoming quite the popular person here." Mirajane said while giving a warm smile.
I blushed and rubbed the back of my head in embarassment.
I then looked at the time to see when I should get going to Hareyakana Village?
Hmm.. I guess I can leave right now.
I then stood up and walked to Makraov.
"I'll be heading out now master." I said to him.
"Where do you plan on going Cody?" He asked me.
"Hareyakana Village." I replied.
"How do you know of that villiage?" He asked me.
I then leaned down to tell him everything.
"The Council Asked me to go there and figure out what's going on... And with the details of what's happening. I think I'm the only one who can do it master..." i said to him.
Makarov sighed and nodded.
"Mirajane mind going up to the second floor and grabbing the S-Class paper for Hareyakana Village?" He asked her.
Mirajane nodded and went upstairs.
"WAIT A SECOND!" Natsu yelled as he ran up to us.
"Cody gets to go on a S-Class Mission?!" Natsu yelled as the whole info was now spread across the Guild.
"WHAT?!" Yelled everyone.
I faceplamed at this.
Damn it all... I really only wanted the master to know of this...
Everyone then began to swarm and ask what's going on.
Mirajane came back and handed it to me.
"Just go... We'll hold them off. Trust us on this... Everyone really wants to go on an S-Class. Now get going." Mirajane said as she took me towards the back entrance of the Guild Hall.
"Thanks Mira. I'll be back soon." I said.
But before I could she handed me a container.
"Some of that soda you like. I made some for ya just in case you went on a solo mission." She said while giving a smile.
I smiled back. "Thanks Mira..."
I then ran towards the train station to get going to Hareyakana Village.
But righr when I get there I see Erza standing there with a wraped item in her hands.
"Hi Erza. Plan on seeing me off?" I asked her.
"Yes I do. Here. This is a weapon I've had for a long time." She said before handing it to me.
I then unwrapped it a bit and under the wrappings was a sheathed sword.
The sword had a navy blue handle, the sheath was also navy blue with some gold on it as well. With odd writings on it.
"It's called Excalibur." She stated.
My eyes widened as I looked back at the blade.
"A dear friend gave it to me before she died. She said to give it to a warrior with a pure heart. Please take care of it." She asked me.
I smiled as I opened up the Connect Portal and placed it insde.
"I will... Thank you Erza." I said before she gave me a warm hug.
I returned the hug as I boarded the train to my destination. I then waved to her as the train took off.
I then leaned back to rest myself and think about this whole thing.
So... I guess that's what happened to the blade huh? It wasn't lost or sealed away... it was sent here... Guess that little portal to this world took her a couple thousands of years into thi world or something...
Oh well... I know it will be handy. and I promise to take great care of it. I promise you that... Arther...
