Relaxing

I am so sorry I haven't updated my story in a long time. I have been a little distracted with the passing of my Uncle and getting things together for school with me also be moving sometime and with work. So I hope none of you have hated me for taking a break. Well here is a new chapter.

I carefully left the bed and made my way to the door that joined our rooms. I slipped in my room to make sure he didn't wake up. I then went to my suitcase and found a pair of shorts and a cute close fitting shirt and my flip-flops. It was a relaxing day so I made my way to the dinning hall to see Sesshomaru's father and step-mom eating breakfast. "Morning Rin." Izayoi said to me.

I smiled and said morning to her as well. "How did you sleep Dear?" InuToshio asked. I smiled and looked at him. "Great." I said. "First night of sleep I got that I didn't have to worry about wedding drama." I said to them both. I sat down in time for the dinning room door to open and there stood a half dressed Sesshomaru. I blushed and looked away.

One of the staff members came over and told me one of the many options I could choose from for breakfast. I wasn't sure what I wanted and no one had noticed that Sesshomaru had entered the kitchen until he came back out with three different cereals, milk, two bowls and two spoons. InuToshio stared at his son as he handed me a bowl and Izayoi just went about eating her breakfast. "You pick her meals out too? Sesshomaru did I teach you nothing about how to treat women?" He asked his son. I blushed and looked down.

Sesshomaru sat next to me and then he started to pour out his breakfast and when he was done with each box of cereal he sat it in front of me. I sighed and then made mine similar but he ended up getting a brand I didn't like and so I just mixed two and then started to eat. InuToshio was burning holes into his son as we all ate. I felt like I was just common trash that he picked up out of the dumpster and brought home.

But once the meal was over with the tension was gone and we went about our separate ways. I was in my room packing for our departure when Izayoi came in with a big smile. "Oh no you don't. Did my son not tell you that you are here for another three days. I am so happy." She said to me. I looked at my suitcase with concern. I packed a extra outfit but not extra for three more days. What am I to do. "Don't worry Dear I plan to take you shopping. Sesshomaru owes me family time and so you can come with us." She said and then pulled on my arm.

"So Rin tell me about your roommate." She said to me. I smiled and then nodded. "Sango is a little head strong. See she has this guy but he is a total pervert and so when ever you mention him she says she isn't with him but he can always be seen at our place at least four times a week for dinner or picking Sango up for a date." I said to her. Izayoi laughed and then she started to ask about my family and my other friends. I was more then happy to tell her about anything she asked.

We finally made it to the two waiting men that were by the waiting car. Izayoi's door was opened by InuToshio and Sesshomaru opened mine. "Thank you." I said to him and got in. Both InuToshio and Izayoi were in the front and Sesshomaru and I were in the back. There wasn't much talk between us but Izayoi filled the silents about all the stores were were going to go too. I could already feel the pain in my feet begin.

When we stopped we were in front of a giant building. "WOW!" I said and then we all got out. "Don't you go to the mall?" Sesshomaru asked me. I shook my head. "Last time I was in a mall it was with Sango to find a gift for a friend. But that was years ago." I said and then we made our way in. Izayoi had her arms locked around InuToshio's and was talking to him about something. Then we stopped in front of a clothing store. "Well why don't you two spend father, son time and I will spend time with Rin.

InuToshio laughed and then smiled at me. "Careful she might end up spoiling you." He said with a big smile. Izayoi puffed her cheeks and hit him with her purse. I ended up laughing at them and then she pulled me into the store. I hadn't really paid much attention to the store that we had gone into and when I seen some of the items I was glad that the guys were sent away because if they had been around me while I was looking at some of this stuff I would have passed out.

"So Rin do you have a boy friend?" She asked me. I smiled and shook my head no. "Oh? Why is that dear?" She asked me. I shrugged my shoulders. "So tell me how long has it been sense the passing of your family?" She asked me. I looked up quickly. "How did you find out? InuToshio burned that part of my file." I said to her. She frowned a moment. "Well the night he brought you to our vacation house I over heard a conversation you two had. I didn't mean to pry." She said to me.

I shook my head and smiled. "Its no problem. Truth be told they have been gone so long I barely remember them. All I remember was that it was my tenth birthday and that my parents had to go to work and that my brother's had to go to school. Our neighbor would be by the check on me every half hour to make sure I was ok and that if I needed anything." Izayoi frowned and then nodded for me to go on. "Both my parents worked at the same place so they rode in together and they had decided to take my brother's to school and as they were driving a bus driver had skidded on black ice and hit three cars one car belonging to my family." I said as I kept the tears from falling.

Izayoi wrapped her arms around me and rubbed my back. "There, there it will be alright. Just treasure the moments you remember and pass on what you learned from them to others." She said to me. I pulled back and smiled. "Thank you." I said to her and then we went back to looking around. After an hour the guys found us and said we should think about where we would want to eat for lunch.

After some thought we decided to eat at a little deli place. It was nice and very quite. We were able to talk about everything that has happened sense we've been here and everything. Sesshomaru even put his input on how he has felt during this past week. I was surprised he could talk so much. But I wasn't about to say anything.

Finally we made it back to the house and went our separate ways. I was in my room when Sesshomaru walked in. "Hello. What's up?" I asked him. He looked at me and I just waited. "Want to watch a movie again?" He asked me. I looked around and nodded. "Sure." I said to him. I got up and followed him to his room.

Sesshomaru had everything ready this time and so all I had to do was sit down and watch the movie. It was very relaxing. "So did you accidentally forget to tell me or did you do it on purpose?" I asked him. Sesshomaru smirked and I just glared and gave my attention to the movie. After our movie was over we decided to go for a walk around the neighborhood.

"Rin, I was wondering if you would be willing to accompany me on the holidays when I visit my family?" He asked me. I took a moment to answer and smiled. "Sure I think I will be able to survive your family." Sesshomaru smirked and then we made our way back to the house. When we got back Izayoi asked if we wanted to play a game. I was game for it and Sesshomaru agreed. "Great this should be fun. I will be back with Trivial Pursuit." She said to us. I smiled and then took a seat at the table and Sesshomaru did the same.

Soon Izayoi was back and with InuToshio. He sighed as he seen that his son had been dragged into this game as well. We all got our color pieces and then we started the game. Izayoi proved that she knew some answers but not many. InuToshio seemed good until he got to the Science and Nature questions. Sesshomaru was pretty good. I think I impressed him when I was able to answer all my questions with out any problems.

It became a tie between Sesshomaru and I and that seemed to impress everyone. Finally it came down to one question and Sesshomaru was able to answer it correctly leaving me in second place. Everyone clapped when it was over with because one it was tiring and two we were all hungry. I told Sesshomaru congratulations on wining and he surprised me. "I am very impressed with your knowledge. You play a lot?" He asked me. I shook my head no. He seemed confused. "When I was in a foster home they had the game so I would take the cards and read the question and memorized the answers." I said to him. He nodded and then we made our way to the dinner table.

This has been the best day I have ever had in a long time. Its to the point to where I don't want to leave. But I knew that I would have to go back and work on taking care of Sesshomaru's home and I would have to check up on his case and see what I could find. Hopefully Miroku had some information on Sesshomaru's child.

After dinner Sesshomaru asked me if I wanted to watch another movie. I decided to do so due to me not having anything better to do. Sesshomaru went downstairs and got the soda and popcorn and I picked out the movie. I had decided to go with a horror/comedy movie. I got it through all the previews and waited for Sesshomaru to return with the goodies.

Sesshomaru handed me my drink and I took a sip and then placed it on the side table. Then he handed me the bowl of popcorn and then he sat down himself. I waited until he nodded and then hit play. It seemed to surprise Sesshomaru that I picked this movie. "Really?" He asked. I smiled at him. "I think I should be surprised that you even own such a movie." I said to him. He nodded. "Fair enough." He said and then went back to the movie.

Before the movie was over with I had crashed and fell asleep. The last thing I remember seeing was a mad being swallowed by a giant worm. When I woke up I noticed two things. One I was once again waking up in Sesshomaru's bed and two Sesshomaru had his arm wrapped around me. I opened my eyes and noticed a third thing. I was face to face with Sesshomaru. And for some crazy reason I didn't care and so I went back to sleep. This is what I call relaxing.

I know, I know I am so sorry everyone. I don't ever want to wait that long to update again but I just lost interest in writing but that could be because I have been panicking about passing my CPR class which I did pass. YAY me! I hope you all like this short chapter that I was able to give you!
