I took a handful of Floo powder, dropped it into the pit of ashes under my feet and every thing started to swirl around me, I made sure to tuck my elbows close to my body. As sudden as it had started it had stopped. I fell onto the dusty, grimy floor of the Leaky Caldron. I really need to work on my landings. I got up off the floor and stood up waiting for my mom to come. I thought of the way Lily looked at me. She was mad at me, why? I mean, she MUST admit that it does sound crazy. I had no clue we were even adopted. I just wanted to keep us from getting hurt. Just then, mom popped in "Hey, you ready." "Yep," I was so stoked to finally going to Diagon Alley. We walked out into the back. All there was was a brick wall. Then, my mother pulled out her wand; it looked just like it did in the movies. She tapped the bricks in a certain order and it started too magically move apart; it opened up to an Alley that was bustling with excitement. I smiled, forgetting everything that happened before I got here. "Wow," I said, that was all that could describe this place. "Come on, we can look around after we get you a dress." mom said dragging me off to a shop called 'Mrs. Schimming's dress shop'. When I walked in I saw a bunch of dresses, everywhere. "Hello," said a lady who I guessed to be Mrs. Schimming. "Hi," I said shyly. "Hello, I am looking for a fancy dress for my daughter." my mom said. "Well, if you want I can measure you and see what dress would look and fit you best." Mrs. Schimming offered. She looked to be about the same age as my mother. "Okay," I said. She measured me and said my dress size was a 2. She also said that I would look best in a silver-purple dress. So she gave me three dresses to pick from. In the end I decided on one that had silver sparkles on the chest and had thin, purple straps. Just as we were paying (well, more like my mom) a girl with dirty, straight blonde hair came in and said, "Hey, mum, Teddy wants to go to WWW, can I have some money to go?" "Sure," said Mrs. Schimming, while she got money out of her pocket. Then, Teddy walked into the shop. "Hey," I said to him. "Hey, do you want to go to WWW with Vanna and me?" he asked me. I turned to my mom. "Can I go?" "Fine, but meet me at the Leaky Cauldron in one hour, got it?" "Yep," I said back. "Here are 10 Galleons, and 10 Sickles, okay?" she said handing me the coins. When I got over to Teddy, Vanna was there and we went set off to go to WWW.
