Okay, so I just couldn't wait to put this chapter up, so here it is! :)

Okay, just breathe.

That was my mantra in the minutes before I walked down the aisle. I stood in front of the mirror and admired my dress with its empire waist and flowing silhouette. I smoothed out the front of my dress and took another deep breath.

"You look so beautiful, honey," my mom said from behind me and I turned to face her. "I can't believe my baby girl is getting married. Luke and I are so proud of you."

"Thanks Mom," I said trying to hold back tears. "You're making me cry."

"Don't you dare cry and mess up your makeup," Isabelle yelled from the vanity at the other side of the room. She made the last few touches on her makeup and met us in front of the mirror. The wedding coordinator poked her head into the room and told us we had five minutes. My mom looked at me once more and hugged me. Isabelle had tears in her eyes at she laughed at herself. She hugged me tight and said, "Let's go get you married!"

My mom handed me my bouquet and I followed her out of the room to where I would meet Luke. His eyes lit up when he saw us and he leaned forward to kiss my mom on the cheek. The music started playing and Max came in to walk my mom to her seat. Once she was seated and Max was standing at Alec's side, Izzy started her walk down the aisle. Luke extended his arm and I linked mine with his.

"You are the most beautiful bride I've ever seen," he whispered. "Well, other than your mother." I giggled. "I love you and I'm so proud of you, Clary."

"I love you, too, Luke."

We were given our cue and exited the house to make our way down the aisle. When I looked up to the end of the aisle, there he was. Jace's golden eyes glowed in the sunset light. The crystals hanging from the gazebo caught the light just as I imagined they would. My eyes were locked with Jace's and in that moment, I couldn't hear the song we had picked for me to walk to or see the guests wiping their eyes as I walked past. All I was aware of was Jace looking at me like I was the last woman on Earth. I would never forget the way he looked at me and how his eyes glistened with unshed tears.

It felt likes years passed before I finally reached him. The minister's lips were moving, but I couldn't hear him. The next thing I knew, Luke was kissing my cheek and giving my hand to Jace. He helped me up the steps of the gazebo and I handed my bouquet to Izzy so I could hold both of his hands. We moved mindlessly through the ceremony and when he placed the ring on my finger, I lost it. The tears were falling freely and he reached to wipe them away. I put his ring on his finger and brought his hand to my lips. His hand cupped my cheek before falling back to hold my hand.

"By the power vested in me by the state of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife," the minister announced and Jace's eyes lit up. "You may now kiss your bride."

The minister hadn't even finished the sentence before Jace was pulling me to him and cupping the back of my neck holding me to him. His lips were urgent and tender at the same time. The rest of the world fell away again and I was only with Jace. I swear we stood there lost in each other for hours, but then Jace pulled away and entwined our fingers together. He raised our joined hands above our heads and the crowd erupted into thunderous applause. I took a step to descend the steps, but Jace tugged my arm and swept me up into his arms kissing me firmly on the lips.

He practically ran down the aisle and I could hear some muffled laughter as he took me into the house.

He set me down in the room I had gotten ready in and placed his hands on the sides of my face. His lips crashed hard onto mine and I felt my feet leave the floor. I finally pulled away and looked into his eyes memorizing his face in that moment.

"I love you," Jace whispered.

"I love you, too, so much," I said as more tears fell. He wiped them away again.

"You better stop crying or Isabelle is going to be pissed because we still have to take pictures." I laughed as he set me back on my feet. He brought my left hand to his lips and held it there for a few moments. "I guess we better head back out there or I'll never be able to leave. I want to keep you to myself."

"I want that too, but we've got a party to get to."

We walked hand in hand back out to the vineyard where the photographer was waiting with Isabell, Alec, Max and our parents. Half an hour later, we were waiting for the DJ to announce us before our first dance. We stood on the outside of the closed barn doors as Jace dipped his head to kiss me before the doors were opened and we walked into the barn with our arms raised over our heads. Jace picked me up when we reached the steps that led to the dance floor. The song had already started playing when he set me down and pulled me tight against him as we swayed to the music. Steve Perry's voice came over the speacker's as he sang Faithfully. I could feel Jace's lips moving as he mouthed the words to our song. I buried my face in his neck and moved with his lead. My fingers were playing with the hair at the nape of his neck as I pulled back and kissed him softly on the lips. When the song was over, the barn was filled with the sound of clapping. We made our way back down the steps and to the head table where Isabelle, Alec and Max were already sitting. I leaned down to hug each one of them before I took my seat. Our meal was served and I ate quickly since I hadn't eaten all day.

"Slow down, babe," Jace whispered in my ear. I turned and smiled around my mouthful of food. "You're just so freaking adorable." He kissed my cheek as I turned back to my plate of delicious food.

After we were done eating, we got up to make our rounds around the room. We stopped at every table to greet everyone and express our gratitude to them for joining in our day. When we got to the table with Jace's teammates, I was suddenly nervous. I had met most of them, but I really wanted to be accepted among the wives. Jace and his friends exchanged rounds of high fives and handshakes while they hugged me. The wives gave me smiles and joined in on the hugs saying that we needed to grab lunch sometime or that they couldn't wait to see me at the next game.

When we returned to our table, Alec had a microphone in his hand and the waiters were passing around champagne flutes for the toasts. We sat down and Alec placed his hand on Jace's shoulder as he announced he was going to make a toast.

"When I was twelve years old," he began, "this scrawny little blonde kid walked into my house with my parents. Ever since that day, Jace has been my brother and best friend. We used to cause our parents so much stress and we were partners in crime. Jace always had a dream and that was to play professional baseball. I used to have to drive to our high school late at night to get him before our parents knew he was out so late." He paused and Jace laughed remembering those times. "He went to USD with the sole goal of making it to the majors. One day, he came home with this weird look in his eye. It wasn't the determined look I usually saw, but it was softer and I knew something was up. It took me four hours that night to get it out of him, but when I did he said, 'There's this girl and I think I'm in love.' Being that he was eighteen, I brushed him off and told him not to get tied down so fast." I gave him a look of mock anger. "But then I saw her at the first game of his college career. She was sitting on the first base line and every time Jace was up to bat, their eyes met and I knew then that this was the real deal. I've known Jace and Clary together and I've known them separately, but I know that together they are a force to be reckoned with. When Clary came into Jace's life, his goal wasn't just the majors anymore. It was Clary and then the majors. As long as he got her, everything else would be okay. So I just want to say congratulations and that I love you both so much." He raised his glass. "To the bride and groom!"

Glasses clinked and Alec reached down to hug us both. Izzy then stood and took the microphone from her brother. I remember thinking this should be good.

"Hi, everyone," she said with a wave. "I'm Isabelle and I'm the maid of honor. This day is extra special to me because, not only is Clary my best friend, but Jace is my brother." He smiled up at her and I could see the tears in her eyes. "Three years ago, Jace brought this girl home with him for Sunday dinner. I remember thinking that it was weird because Jace had always said he didn't have time for girls. He would say that baseball was his girlfriend. When they walked in the house that night, I couldn't believe my eyes. Jace had changed. He wasn't the overbearing protective older brother I had been used to, but he was a man in love. Needless to say, Clary and I hit it off that night and became close fairly quickly. I remember feeling so lucky because I had a front row seat to this epic love story I knew was about to unfold. I had always admired Jace for his work ethic and determination, but the night he brought Clary over to meet us, I realized that there was so much more to Jace than baseball. It just took one fiery redhead to bring that out of him." Jace laughed and nodded along with her words. "So, today, I accept my new sister into our family with open arms, because we all know that you and Jace would not be the same without each other."

She raised her glass and another round of cheers rang out through the barn. I wiped my tears as Izzy and I hugged and remained that way for a few moments. Jace and I were instructed to make our way to the cake. It was beautiful with its white tiers and delicate lace detailing. There was one large flower at the base. I took the cake knife from its stand and Jace wrapped his hand around mine. Together, we cut a piece off and placed it on a plate. I took a chunk between my fingers and didn't hesitate as I smashed it into Jace's face. He laughed manically and did the same to me. I squealed when the sweet frosting met my face and Jace leaned in to lick some of it away. My hands met his face as I held him in a kiss while the photographer snapped pictures.

After Jace and I cleaned each other off, he took my hand and led me back to the dance floor. We danced with our friends and family for hours before we were told that we had to shut down. The guests were led out to the courtyard and given sparklers. We waited for our signal and ran through the two parallel lines of people with sparklers in their hands. When we reached our car, Jace opened my door and helped me situate my dress. He kissed my cheek before he ran to the other side to get in. I waved out the window to all our guests and blew my mom and Luke a kiss as we drove off.

Ten minutes later, Jace was keying into our hotel room. When he light turned green, he dipped to sweep me into his arms. I giggled as he crossed the threshold.

"What's with you and carrying me today," I asked through my huge smile as he set me down.

"I like carrying you," he said stepping to me. His lips met mine in a slow, tender dance as we made our way further into the room. When the backs of my knees hit the bed, Jace picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist.

"I love you, Jace Lightwood."

"I love you, Mrs. Lightwood."
