"Wait, that's not funny, Ronnie,"

"It totally is though," I laughed hugging in to one of my most favourite people in the word Mandiee, I'd spoken to this girl for years, We'd just gotten closer and closer now I was hanging with her in her home in New York State.

"You Australians are weird,"

"You love us," I laughed grabbing the can of energy drink out of her hand taking a long mouthful.

"How'd you get your bruises?" she asked pulling the sleeve back off my wrist. It had been three weeks and it was finally starting to fade, Neither the wrist or the love bit had faded enough for my best friend not to notice.

"A crazy crazy weekend, a few weeks back"

"Crazy?"

"I had sex for like three days straight, yeah, you need to know," I laughed. "You'd be proud though, he was an American."

"Was?"

"Yeah, was just for fun," I smiled wishing that it wasn't true, I'd love for him to ravish me right now. I let out a sigh.

"Right," Mandiee laughed, "Want to watch a movie?"

"Freddie vs Jason?" I offered.

"Hell yeah!"

We made her way to her bedroom so we didn't disturb her parents with my constant laughing at the stupid idiots in the movie. My friends grew to hate watching movies with me because I pick them apart and tell them what they could do better, but Mandiee just laughed.

I went to my bag and opened it, freezing cold the snow was crazy over here. I picked Jon's hoodie up and put it to my nose taking a deep breath in, the whole weekend rushed through my mind. I shook my head as I zipped my back up slipping in to the jacket.

"What was his name?"

"Who?"

"The guy whose jacket you totally just went war widow on," she said. I looked at her and tilted my head to the left. "You just put your face in that shit like you wanted to get high," I looked away and laughed, "Omg you're so blushing!"

"Shut up," I laughed I said trying to hide my cheeks. "His name was Jon, it was seriously an amazing week end but it's done,"

"Whatever," she smiled, turning the movie on.

We watched it for a while, and then my head got running, over running giving me a headache. "Do you ever just feel sorry for Jason?" I asked.

"What?" Mandiee laughed.

"Like he's pretty misunderstood, he's just doing what he thinks is right," I pointed out, "He doesn't know any better, he's kind of sad,"

"You've always had a thing for the weird ones," she laughed, my phone started ringing. I looked up at Amanda,

"Blocked number, All my Australian people should be sleeping," I said furrowed my brow stepping up off the bed. "Hello?"

"Hey, is this Veronica?" an American voice asked.

"Ah, yeah," I said nervously,

"It's me," he said he's voice with a nasally tone.

"Jon?" I asked looking at Mandiee

"Yeah,"

"Um, hey?" I said rubbing my neck, looking back to Mandiee who pointed to the porch in case I wanted privacy. "How'd you get my number?"

"I called Dan, who made be beg Blair,"

"They made you beg?"

"Yeah," he laughed,

"Did you?" I smiled.

"I got the number didn't I?"

"Well, I know you can be very persuasive," I smiled. He let out a knowing laugh, "How've you been?" I asked as I stood outside.

"Yeah, I've been fine, you?"

"Yeah, fine." I said honestly, "Why'd you call?" I asked, I was so shocked I was in no way expecting this.

"You're still so sassy aren't you?"

"Apparently only when I'm sober,"

"Wow," he laughed, I had to admit I was smiling as well. "I remembered you saying you were coming over here, so, I thought it would really suck if we didn't make the most of it," he said.

"Make the most?" I asked.

"Well, why don't we hang out, and I'll get rid of that sassy little attitude all over again," he said his voice deep, I could feel it run down my neck my vagina started throbbing. "Where are you?"

"Upstate New York,"

"Really?"

"Yeah," I laughed. "I'm at a friend's house"

"Friend?"

"Hey Jealousy,"

"What he didn't see the mark on your neck?"

"Who said it was a he?"

"Well is it?"

"No," I snapped. "I'm not a slut, remember?"

"So you still have the mark?"

"It's fading,"

"What about the bruise?'

"Who cares about the bruise?" I snapped. He was silent for a moment or two, it made me think of the morning after I'd gotten the bruise, and he'd looked so guilty.

"I'm going to be in Philly in two days, want to meet?"

"Where are you now?"

"Jersey,"

I sighed a little, I wanted him so bad, but I had a bad feeling about this whole situation, I wasn't even in my country, most of my friends were back home, if I met with him and something went wrong, I would be on my own.

"What is it sugar pot?"

I took a deep breath and quickly weighed out the risks, the best sex, I'd ever known or being safe? I walked to the door.

"Hey Mandiee,"

"Hmm?" she looked up from the movie.

"How do I get to Philadelphia?"

"That's my girl" Jon laughed.
