This is so not cool.

After Belle had so easily avoided KRWN's first maneuver she proceeded to hit both the girls with her weapon. They were hit with literal explosive force from the orbs.

Despite his laid back demeanor, D.L. was getting a bit annoyed, "Grun," he said through clenched teeth.

"Yeah, D.L.?" Grun called back more serious than usual because of the better than average opponent.

"You remember what we did to that wall, right?" D.L. said with an angry grin.

"Of course," Grun answered, "It was almost as fun as the entrance exam."

"She's the new wall."

Grun understood D.L.'s meaning and charged while shouting, "Whooo!"

He swung his spade wildly while D.L. spun his revolvers and cocked his metal covered fist. Belle first ignored D.L. entirely, Bad idea, chick. She swung her weapon at Grun's chest and he flew across the arena, skidding along the ground to a stop and groaning.

D.L. took the chance to take a full powered swing at her turned back. He assumed that's all it would take but he was mistaken. The golden glyph on her back reappeared and she flew straight into the air without jumping. D.L. couldn't stop his attack and stumbled forward only to have one of those orbs smash into the space between his shoulder blades. His face hit the floor and he blacked out for what he thought was just an instant, but when he struggled back to his feet he heard Goodwitch over the PA, "The time limit has been reached. Team KRWN, you have failed this test. I expect better results next week. You are dismissed."

Contrary to Grun's belief KRWN did not miss breakfast although Grun seemed to be the only one with happy thoughts though.

"Guh," D.L.'s head hit the table next to his food, "I said it was gonna suck and then it sucked. I hate being right sometimes."

Stella whined as well, "And Professor Goodwitch said we have to do it every week until we pass."

"I don't see what the problem is, guys. We'll get it eventually," Grun replied tot their pessimism.

"Billy boy," D.L. told him, "You are way too optimistic. She is faster than even Stella, she hits harder than me and you combined. I mean what's up with that weapon. It felt like getting hit with a building. She even has that crazy semblance. Zipping around without moving a muscle. Speaking of which Cerise's semblance is useless cause she wont stay still long enough to cast it, and her whips can't touch her."

"I'm s-sorry," Cerise apologized quietly.

"No," D.L. tried to reassure her, "It's not your fault. She is just too good for us individually, and even though we work well together it just isn't good enough for someone like her."

Stella chimed in, "And what's with that 'Stoplight' nonsense? It's so unrefined."

D.L. glared at her, "Really? You think that's important right now? What does it matter anyway? He wears green her 'thing' is red. It makes sense. At least it's better than telling Grun she's a wall!"

While the rest of the team got back into their normal routine of bickering Cerise really took the failure hard, and she blamed herself heavily. For the next month or so this was the case. KRWN repeatedly lost to Belle and Cerise continued to feel at fault because out of her teammates her abilities should be the most useful in their current situation. On a Friday evening The rest of Team KRWN was a member short.

Stella was going on about some facet of her "superiority" when D.L. needed to cut her off. "Hey, Grun," he said forcefully enough to shut Stella up and to tear Grun away from his meal, "Where's your partner? I haven't seen Cerise since last period let out."

"I'm not sure," Grun managed through mouthfuls, "She was headed in the direction of the dorm when I saw her last."

Stella even thought this was odd, "Really? It's not like her to miss meals. She Doesn't like wandering around without one of us either."

"Yeah," D.L. (surprisingly) agreed with his partner, "Let's go check and see if she's alright."

Stella was finished and so was D.L., but Grun was on his third helping and still going strong, "C'mon, Billy boy. You can bring it with you."

Grun then readily grabbed what he could from his tray and followed them out of the cafeteria. The incomplete team headed back to their room, Stella and D.L. bickering and Grun finishing his last coarse of dinner. They turned the last corner and heard a small noise and as they got closer they could make out sobs coming from the dorm labeled KRWN.

Stella looked confused and asked, "Is that Cerise?"

At the same time Grun showed an expression none of them had seen before. The look of seriousness on his face contrasted with his boyish features. He then made his way to the door hastily. Stella tried to follow, but D.L. caught her by the collar and said, "I think we should go for a walk, little girl."

"Don-" She started to yell at him but was stopped by his stern expression, "Okay. Let's go for a walk."

Ooooh Serious Grun. What next? A humble Stella, a polite D.L."
