Another long painful month of training, which only god more intense everyday literally

"Come on get up Gabriel," Lance said before Gabriel got kicked in the side. "Here is some inspiration pretend I'm Diamond." With the simple name lit a fire which made Gabriel's speed hit its peak spearing Lance into the tree, nearly snapping it. "Holy crap, talk about absolute hatred for someone."

"I'm going to kill him, and I mean that literally," Gabriel face in utter rage.

"We know you hate him Gabriel, but remember you can't let you emotions get the better of you, if you do you'll do something reckless that could get yourself hurt, or even killed," Tyler said.

"Yeah and we don't want to lose you, I mean hell we just met you," Zack said with a smirk.

"Zack's right, we're a family," Ryan said smiling; "and Gabriel you are one of the family."

"You got that right," Tyler said.

"Guys, I think that's good enough for today, we have been at it since sunrise," Lance said wiping the sweat off his head. "What do you think?"

"Yeah, I'm with you on that; I am totally exhausted," Tyler said smirking, "and I never get tired."

"I'll get something for dinner, you guys go get a fire started," Zack said.

"Gabriel. I want to check out the injuries from a couple days ago," Ryan requested in a concerned voice. "I want to make sure there isn't a massive amount of dirt getting in them."

"Later, right now I just want to go for a walk." Gabriel said in a melancholy tone.

"You want me to come with you?" Lance asked worried.

"No, I'm ok I just need some time to myself;" Gabriel said with a simple smile and walking off.

"He really is missing her a lot," Ryan said watch him walk away. "Lance, follow him just in case."

"Was planning on it," Lance said with a smirk before following at a safe distance.

Gabriel walked for about 30 minutes or so till he reached the water, where he was dropped, by Diamond, Sapphire and Rubeus. Just standing there he looked up at the sky with a tear in his eye thinking to himself, 'are you ok Serenity? Please don't give up I'll be back as soon as possible'. As the stars hit the water causing it to shine, going to turn around he saw something in the sand.

"Is that what I think it is?" Gabriel said leaning down and picking the object up and brushing the sand off, and his eyes widened. "I can't believe this; the pocket watch is still in one piece." He opened the clasp as saw the hands moving then spotted his Serenity on the left side.

"Hey buddy, you alright?" Lance asked nervous if he would be mad because he was following him.

"It works Lance, the watch Serenity gave me still works," Gabriel said ecstatically.

"Great rinse it off and let's get back to camp; Zack should be back by now."

Gabriel rinsed the sand off the watch and began his walk back to the camp, alongside Lance. Gabriel spent the entire night looking at it and smiling.

The next morning, they got up and immediately began their training. Only today was different Gabriel was more intense than he was before.

"I'm going get her back guys, I know it I can feel it."

"Ok…Ok…Now enough of this mushy crap, we spent enough time watching you ogle that thing last night," Zack said

"Zack, back off it's a gift from the love of his life and he just found it," Tyler said; "cut him some slack."

"Alright…Alright that's enough, ok Gabriel here's the next challenge," Lance said tossing him a bow; "fighting using the bow or hand to hand combat."

"Sounds good, but you realize I'm going to take you all down," Gabriel said with a wink.

"You're not that good Gabriel," Zack said being a smart mouth.

"Ok big mouth, your up first," Gabriel said with a smirk.

"You're going down Gabriel," Zack said with a cracking of his knuckles.

Zack made the first charge, which made Gabriel started to pace backwards using the senses he developed throughout his training and using the tree flipped over Zack's head, then kicking his back so he went face first into the tree. Zack got up quick before Gabriel could even blink, had a knife drawn and kneed Gabriel in the stomach making him fall on his back the Zack placing his knife to his throat.

"See told you were going down," Zack said with a wink.

"Your right, but you forgot something," Gabriel said.

"What?"

"This," Gabriel said sliding the bow string over his head and twisting locking it tight around Zack's neck, making him gag. Gabriel pulled the bow back nailing Zack between the eyes, breaking his nose.

"Zack, Gabriel made you look like an amateur," Ryan said

"You're next Medicine Man," Gabriel said.

"This should be quick," Ryan said.

"Let's find out,"

Ryan started his charge and drove his staff into the ground, making him flip over Gabriel, but the height cost when he got mid-air, Gabriel ran and bounced off the tree, speared the staff causing Ryan to nail against the tree. Gabriel got next to Ryan and as he got up, pulled a Scissor kick knocking him down and pinned the staff to his neck.

"Ok Gabriel, who's it going to be me or Tyler?"

"Tyler, don't see Axes much; so, hand to hand," Gabriel said in his fighting stance, "it's time for the student to become the teacher."

"We'll see about that," Tyler said with a sarcastic smirk.

Tyler made the first move with a right hook, which Gabriel ducked and did a sweeping of the leg, which Tyler jumped and kicked Gabriel in the back. However, knowing Tyler had to get up, Gabriel rolled back grabbed his head in between his legs and flung him at a tree, which Tyler bounced off and tried to punch him flying in the air, but Gabriel gripped the wrist that he was flipped Tyler on his stomach, wrapping his arm around his neck, putting him in a choke lock.

"Give up Tyler, give up," Gabriel said making the choke lock more intense, Tyler nodded and Gabriel let go.

"Good god kid, what a choke lock," Tyler said rubbing the front of his throat. "Who taught you that?"

"You did, only it's a modified sleeper, which I turned into a choke hold," Gabriel said.

"Well it's effective, I'll give you that." Tyler said with a laugh.

"Alright, Lance your turn?"

"Saved the best for last, did you?" Lance said raising an eyebrow.

"No, the easiest," Gabriel said.

"Oh my god, Lance, he really closed the door with that insult," Zack said laughing.

"Oh shut up Zack," Lance said pulling out two swords. "Let's see how you handle this."

"Ok," Gabriel said ready to go, unarmed. "Ready?"

Gabriel nailed him in the neck with a chop and then Lance began the thrusting of his swords, which he had no issue dodge and knocking him down with a punch to the back and onto the floor. Gabriel twisted Lance's arm making him lose control and the dropped of the swords and into Gabriel's hands, which exposed Lance's rib cage. He started to punch Lance's side and as Lance got up the sword fighting started, Gabriel slapped Lance in the face, knocking him to the ground. As Lance got up Gabriel grabbed Lance's wrist and cut it and then punched him, which caused Lance to hold onto a tree and Gabriel to put a sword to his throat.

"Game…Set…Match" Gabriel said with a wink.

"Definitely, been practicing to be able to use that in the palace, have you?" Lance asked, grabbing at his wound which Ryan was wrapping up.

"Yep, what do you think?"

"Very impressive Gabriel," Lance said smiling; "your definitely ready, what do you think guys?" They all nodded in unison.

"Come on guy's time to fully seal him." Tyler said before they started walking to their camp.

"Alright Gabriel, one final mark," Lance said, after they arrived back at the camp and sitting down, before he took Gabriel's forearm and made the final mark that represented the League a steel eagle, encased in flames, with two arrows coming in an "X" form behind the eagle, his body was alright consisting of scars, which came from a combination of stab, cuts and burns throughout his training.
