Golden Eyes A/N: explanation
OK guys a lot of you have been saying, Why is Naruto/Kira leaving?
One thing to note. I MADE HIM LEAVE!
I want everyone to note this and understand it well. I considered the training trip, I really did. But I decided that for a story to be good... I decided to make Naruto/Kira into exile. Now I didn't just pull this out of my ass and say Oh hey I am just going to make him exile and say it works like that. I made a back story to make it true.
But I am not going to hold your hand and point out the MAJOR HINTS to why Naruto/Kira is FORCED to leave. I mean I dedicate several scenes, dialogue, half a chapter to it. I think it would be obvious that I have a reason for Naruto to leave, and I am not just making it up.
I have a Story Line. It may not seem like it but I ACTUALLY KNOW HOW I WANT TO DO THIS STORY!
As for the reasons Naruto gave. They were made so that the people would agree to have Naruto leave. THOSE ARE NOT HIS REAL REASONS!
I mean seriously. You guys are intelligent, I know you are. Please and thank you READ AND INTERPET!

I'm my opinion that 'Kira' is a complete imbecile renouncing to everything when there was no need to do that, his excuses were just lame. What he should have done was a training trip as Tsunade suggested, not exiling himself like he was criminal.
Doing that he just agreed with all those villagers who hated him.
Tenchi: Ok, this is the general thing you have been saying about the 'exile. Lets put it this way. TSUNADE SUGGESTED! I think as an author, if I put something in my story, I KNOW WHY I PUT IT IN! Now please don't go hating on me because you think I have no idea what I am doing.
Now I will stop here because if I go any more I will just be ranting and fuming. I am sorry but this is really necessary to hammer down the point that I have a story line and as a point.
As for a name change I am just going to put a post between a reader and myself.
Anonymous: yes, it matters. what is the name of the series this story is based off of? it really does ruin the story when you take out the main character. no matter how many ways you try to defend it, you wont convince me otherwise. i have read your other works, this story is the only one worth reading to me.

Does it matter that the char. is not 'naruto' anymore. Like you said it still is a story .Does it take the value away that if the name is changed. Does taking naruto out automatically change the quality of the story?
The is another reason i haven't really told anyone yet. The reason 'Naruto' is now Kira is because some people will still want him as Naruto. Thus they will call him Naruto. But there will be clashses on the name. I am not doing this to just add my own OC. I am using it to create a simile. Just like Naruto is now Kira, the past has changed. Naruto or in this case Kira, (as i said perviously) is changing his past. he doesn't want to be held down by KOnoha, past ties. Etc.
The changing the name is more like an authors gig in which I want to do it. I am sorry that you cannot read anymore but i thank you for reading up until now. If you want to see stories that keep Naruto's name in check please read my other stories.

Anonymous: a name is not like a nickname. your birth name is a part of who you are. do you put a nick name on an id card or drivers license? no. you might feel differently about it, that's fine. it's a great story, but, when you change his name, you take naruto out of the story, period. their is no one named naruto in your story anymore. now, he has become your oc. when authors change his name, i stop reading. it's one of the things i can't stand. and to be honest, i don't see why it even needs to be changed permanently.
Me:Hmm. well ok thats ture it takes away his identity and i am sorry that you cannot read anymore. but it is not the worst thing you can do. Many people have made Naruto much more OOC and beyond the things i have done. Does that take away his identity? I name isn't an identity it is a title. Naruto or Kira in this case is simply a new title in which Kira is using to let go of his past. Later on I will explain the meaning of his name in fuller detail (as in why he wanted it changed.)
A name is like a nickname. If a person is called by their nickname does it take away their Identity? I know many people will dislike the name changing but think about Tragedy of Repitition a very excellent story that uses Nanashi as the main char. But we all know that Naruto is Nanahsi.
What become of this is just a title so that the readers can know who is being talked about. But if i replaced every Naruto name with BOb or george some people would actually realize that this char is Naruot jsut a diff name. so i do not see how changing his name takes away his identity.
Please elaborate.
Anonymous:than i can no longer read this story. i have always believed that one of the worse things you can do to a naruto story, is change his name. i believe it takes away his identity.

So I am sorry if this offends anyone but please understand I am getting frustrated with people talking about my 'mistake.'

There was a time where... the elements were controlled. They were controlled by the people that roam the earth. But some people, understood the human nature. They understand that people would become corrupt, destructive and so on. They understood that if people who sought to control humans had the power to control the elements then... a lot of deaths would happen.
So, a secular group hid themselves away. They hid themselves and only revealed themselves to those that pure. Not pure as in innocent, not pure as in free from greed. But pure as in the respect for human freedom. Only then, would they allow people to come into their domain.
Not many passed this test.
One man did. His name was Hiruzen. The hidden people taught him how to control the elements. Though Hiruzen never finished his training because he had to leave for war. Hiruzen benefited from the 'basics' greatly.
Only one other passed the test. Hiruzen recommended him infact.
His name … was Kira.
And there we go.
