Chapter 11(Isabelle POV) (two months later)

I watched and commented every time Magnus came out with a different tux. Since Alec and Magnus were both men they had decided among theirselves that Magnus would have bridesmaids instead of best men. Either way the bridesmaids were Isabelle, Clary, and Maia, and Alec decided on Jace, and Simon, but there wasn't much to pick from, because Alec didn't know many people.

Magnus walked out in a tan, and pale green tux. I let my eyes rake over him. The only problem, once again, was that the stomach part was tight, while everything else was loose. His lips drew together in a pout. "If only they had maternity clothes for men." I said sympathetically.

"Believe it or not those are incredibly difficult to find." Magnus snorted, voice dripping with sarcasm. He retreated into the changing room, which he had reluctantly agreed to use. Today, if anything, I had learned how bold Magnus was when it came to exposing himself. The exact opposite of Alec, but, like they say, opposites attract I suppose.

A few moments later Magnus reappeared grinning. He scanned the room, checking if the store owner was present, an then stepped out wearing a white tux, with a swirly baby blue pattern. It was loose around the stomach. It fit him perfectly.

"Found one." he said, winking studiously, with his head tilted toward me, and his mouth open, and lopsided. I rolled my eyes. He snapped back into his normal clothes. "Should I try and pay for it? Do you think he'll notice it isn't really from his store?"

I pretended to think about it. "I think he might know, considering how... Unique it is, and the fact it's probably the first maternity tux he's ever seen."

"It's going to the car then!" Magnus declared, snapping his fingers again.

We walked to the front of the store, and explained to the owner that we couldn't find anything. He thanked us for coming in and we exchanged 'have a nice days'.

As we were walking out of the store I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I whipped it out to find a text from Jace. {Alec got a plain black 1. Shocker huh.} Honestly it wasn't.

Out of nowhere Magnus leaned over to grab my hand and shoved it onto his stomach. He was grinning widely. I felt something move under my hand. "I felt it kick!" he said joyfully. "It kicked! It kicked! It kicked!" he began screaming. Magnus was jumping up and down.

I glanced around nervously and saw people looking at us strangely. I'm sure they were wondering why a man with a swollen belly was yelling about his kicking baby.

"Magnus!" I is hissed under my breath. "Calm down!" I grabbed his arm firmly to get him to stop jumping, and contemplated putting a hand over his mouth, but it wasn't necessary, because he looked down at me confused. I would bet he had forgotten I was there. He smiled again.

"Let's go tell Alec!" he said and grabbed my forearm, pulling me toward the car. I had to jog to keep up with his long strides.

(Alec POV) (at the Institute)

I looked up quizzically as Magnus burst into my room, obviously excited. My wonder was cut short when he practically shouted, "I felt it kick!"

"You... What?" I said only half understanding what he said.

"The baby!" he said shaking my shoulders. "When we were on the way back from shopping I felt the baby kick." After thinking for a second he added, "It felt kind of like popcorn popping in my stomach."

"Magnus, thats wonderful! I wish I could have been there." I reached down and pulled his shirt up before gently kissing his belly. "Come here." I pulled him down so he was sitting on the bed in front of me. I put my arms around him on either side so I could softly rubbing his stomach, with my head resting on his shoulder. "Daddy loves you." I whispered, directing the comment to Magnus's abdomen.

"So what does your tux look like?" I asked.

Magnus made a clicking noise with his tounge. "Tsss, tsss, tsss, I can't tell you that! Like a bride in her dress, it's just not allowed. But I will tell you it's one of a kind. I had to poof one with room for my rapidly growing tum tum. You know maternity tuxes are hard to find." he said again in mock seriousness. I giggled into his shoulder.

"I figured as much." I managed, still smiling.

I knew without seeing that he was now smiling also. Magnus leaned back into me.

"I think," I said pausing, "that we should have a picnic in the greenhouse. You know that's where Jace and Clary first kissed?"

"Well it must be a special place then. Sure, why not?"

We packed food and a blanket and lugged them both up. After laying the blanket down in the garden path intersection, we dealt out shares of the food; sandwiches, cherries, cookies, and orange juice. Not exactly a banquet, but it suited our purpose. Just as I was preparing to dig in Magnus said "Oh my god!" with a shocked expression.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"I-I can't be pregnant!" he said startled.

"Magnus why- what do you mean?" I stammered, panicking myself now.

"I got my period."

I snorted because he had caught me off guard, and began laughing hysterically. He held a straight face a second longer, before joining in with his adorable laugh.

We enjoyed the rest of lunch, and it proved true that you were hungrier when pregnant because Magnus ate almost twice as much as usual. Afterwards he apologized for being a pig, but I brushed it aside. Not long after that we said our goodbyes and headed back to Magnus's apartment.

Hope you enjoyed. Only two chapters left. Oh and sorry if this chapter was horrible. Im not quite fond of it either. Review?
