Paul POV

Carissa finally gave in and I took us to a place on the beach that I used to come here with my father. We ordered and were looking over the ocean.

"This is beautiful." She whispered and I looked at her.

"Yeah, but not as much as you." I said and tried to put my hand over hers, but she pulled away. I sighed and looked back over the ocean.

"I used to eat here with my dad every Friday after we would train." I said and she looked at me.

"We would come for our cheat day." I said and she laughed.

"He would be proud of you Paul." She whispered.

"I don't know… probably not, especially after last night." I mumbled and then looked at her. My eyes caught hers and I saw pain in her eyes.

"Paul, you really hurt me. I don't know what else to say… I felt stupid, unwanted, and like the biggest idiot there. I had no clue what to say to people, especially the ones who didn't want to speak English, you were too busy with your friends, and then you got drunk. I felt so alone when you were only ten feet away. I didn't like that feeling and I don't want to ever feel it again." She said and I nodded as I looked down.

"I know that I messed up. I shouldn't have ever put you in that situation. I just wanted to please everyone and ended up hurting the two people that I wanted to celebrate with the most. My mom is mad at me as well. Oh, and I did not sleep with Kelly! She made that up to hurt us." I said and she slowly nodded.

"Look, I can't say that I'm sorry enough and I can't take it back. I can only ask that you give me that chance to move forward with you." I said and she sighed.

"Paul, it hurts… maybe we should wait to do anything together until after we get back from South Africa." She said and I closed my eyes.

"No, I don't want to… I want to know that we are alright or nothing at all." I said and she looked at me shocked.

"Look, Carissa, you are worth fighting for… I'm not going to give up, but I do need to know how hard I have to fight." I said and she started to say something, but the food came.

We ate in silence with just the ocean crashing against the rocks as the soundtrack. I paid when we were done and walked us to the car. I stopped her before she got in and kissed her. I had her pushed up against the car and it didn't take long before her arms snaked around my neck. I pulled away and looked into her eyes. I placed a soft kiss on her forehead and sighed.

"I'm so sorry." I whispered again and looked back down at her.

"Just don't do it again." She said and I smiled as I opened the door for her.

Carissa POV

The next day they had a show and then we were going to start the long trek back to the US. I loved the tour and getting to see all the sights, but I hated flying.

We had all our stuff with us at the arena and I was going over the cameras, lighting, and a few other things before the show started.

"Hey, you ok?" a voice said and I turned to see Matt standing behind me. He had his hands shoved into his shorts pockets and looked cute with his glasses on.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I asked him.

"I heard about you and Paul… well, actually Kelly told everyone about her and Paul." He said and I smirked while shaking my head.

"Exactly, you heard about it from her… not me or Paul." I said and he nodded. I could tell that he was trying to be nice.

"Thanks for asking." I said and he smiled.

"Um, I wanted to start over… just as friends." He said and I nodded.

"Alright, well, I'm Carissa… it's nice to meet you." I said and he smiled.

"Matt, and I must say that Paul is lucky to have someone as beautiful as you." he said and I smiled.

"Yes, I am." Paul said and he walked up. I smiled at him and Matt nodded before walking away.

"He won't give up?" he asked me and I rolled my eyes.

"No, actually, he was being a nice guy." I said and he nodded.

"Whatever." He said and rolled his eyes. I laughed as Heath walked up and they were joking around as I was getting work done. I finally got done and they were sitting in the production truck with me and Beth.

"What time is our flight tomorrow?" Beth asked us.

"11pm tonight." Heath said and we nodded.

"Let's go drink in the airport." Beth said and I shrugged.

"I drank enough the other night, but we would go with you." he said and I smiled because he hadn't agreed to drink.

The show went well, we sat in the airports and had drinks with a few other wrestlers, and finally got onto the plane and manage to leave on time. I was curled up next to Paul and I felt asleep as soon as the wheels left the ground.

I finally got to Mohegan Sun with a few hours to spare. Paul and Heath had to be there for the taping tonight, and were cranky by the time we finally got there. They left to get ready and I was going to catering. I was walking when someone bumped into me.

"Move, bitch." Kelly said and I smirked.

"You are just pissed because I got him." I said and kept on walking.

"He is only with you as a charity case." She said. I turned to look at her and smirked when I saw Beth behind her.

"No, that's what you were." Beth said and Kelly turned to see who it was before slipping away.

Beth hugged me and I was glad to see her. I was talking to her and Phil in catering before being called away to help the show. I just wanted this to go good tonight because as soon as this was over I was going to fly home and be in my bed. I couldn't wait for my bed.
