Ok to refresh your memory Sam went to get food. Krissy is in the motel room with her magic wearing off. Cammi is passed out on a bed. And Dean is burning some calories with the bartender.
Krissy's magic was wearing off. After Sam left she went into her bag and pulled out a change of clothes and walked into the bathroom. She took a shower rubbing off all the dirt and grime she had collected while fighting the dragon. The hot water relaxed her aching muscles and dulled the immense pain that had been masked by magic earlier. She turned off the water, dried off, and began getting dressed leaving her shirt for last. Since the mirror in the bathroom was missing Krissy walked of the bathroom and looked at herself in the one mirror that resides in her motel room. Or so she thought. They got adjoining rooms that share a bathroom. Thinking she was in her and Krissy's room; she didn't bother with a shirt. She had the see the extent of the damage anyway. She was looking at herself in the mirror when Sam walked in. He had put the food the table before he noticed her. And he looked up to see her standing there minus a shirt. He froze taking the sight before him. Despite being only 4"11; Krissy had very nice figure. A tiny waist and flat stomach. She had hips that fit her frame perfectly and even in the sports bra she was wearing he could tell that she has a nice rack. After the initial shock of seeing her like this he really began to see her. The magic well-worn off and her injuries were now very much visible. The purple splotches that covered her ribs suggested fractured ribs. It was this point she grabbed her shirt and threw it on as fast as her body would let her. At first she was mad. Hadn't he heard of knocking? She couldn't believe that he would come in her room so abruptly… and then she realized when she saw both beds empty that she had walked into Sam's room and not her own. He was staring for what had seemed like the longest time.
"You if you keep staring, your face will freeze like that." she said
Sam mumbled an apology. She just shrugged her shoulders as if to say whatever and to grab her first aid kit. She applied disinfectant to her face, which was now covered in lacerations and abrasions. Not to mention the big blistering hand print. Finally she applied burn cream and took some ibuprofen.
"Krissy what happened?"
"Nothing that didn't already happen. Look I used magic to cut the pain and disguise it ok?"
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"What, and ruin everyone's fun?"
"You think us having fun would be more important than your health?"
"I'll be fine. I heal faster than humans; I just need to recharge my magic."
"You didn't answer my question."
"I just wanted to forget today. That how I deal with my pain. I distract myself so I don't have to feel. Then I can put on my happy face façade and get through it. Going out drinking with friends; even playing wing man to Dean, will let me forget for even one second that my life's not normal ."
"Of course your life's not normal. You fought a dragon today. You put everyone else above yourself. Why would you want normal?"
"Where there are dragons there are knights that become heroes. But what people seem to forget is all the empty armor of the fallen before them."
"That doesn't even make sense. You said you'd be fine. This is definitely not fine Krissy."
There was a long silent pause. Until finally …
"Did you get the cream?"
"Yes. Do I want even want to know why?"
"Its medicinal!"
Sam looked at her with the oddest look. She sighed and took the bottle from his hands and began to open it.
"I can't get drunk off of alcohol it's a fairy thing. I can however get totally smashed with this." She sipped her bottle downed some.
"And how is this medicinal?"
"Because I can effectively block out the pain. My magic is not the strongest. And it's not going to get stronger if I use it. I wouldn't be surprised if the sobriety charm I gave you wore off. "
Sam didn't argue with her. He just took a beer out of the six pack he bought and opened it.
"Well nobody should have to drink alone." Sam smiled and raise his bottle in a bottoms up fashion.
She smiled back. And the night ended with the two friends passing out on the bed.
Cammi's POV
The light pouring into the room is what wakes me up. Hissing in a vampire like fashion I got up and closed the curtains. Unfortunately getting up that fast made my head spin. I took a moment to regain my balance and went towards the adjoining room in hopes of finding Krissy since she wasn't in her bed. I grabbed my sun glasses before I opened the door and walked outside I barely walked one step before I tripped over my own feet. As I was about to hit the floor someone caught me.
"Take it easy Ashes. Damn how much did you drink last night?"
"Why are you here? And don't call me ashes!"
"I'm just getting back. Stacey really knows how to …" he said with a smirk.
" I don't want details on your latest conquest Dean !"
"I was just going to how to make a drink. I should be asking what are you doing here?" he said pointing at the room
I rolled my eyes. "Krissy's not in her room so figured she might be here."
Dean used his key to open the door and motioned for me to walk in first. Nothing could have prepared me for the sight before us.
