AN: Did I ever give a description of the character Quinn? I see her as a blonde with short wavy hair, shoulder length, she also has blue eyes. :p So if I did mention how she looked (Yay!) if I didn't (crap…) anyway enjoy.
Chapter 9
Quinn opened her eyes slowly the light above her blinding her a moment Quinn attempted to move only to be held down.
"You've caused me some trouble, Quinn." Mother spoke Quinn's eyes quickly got big to recognize the voice.
"Where am I…?" Quinn asked.
"Home, down in the basement." She smiled.
"You know everything I had planned years ago was completely ruined by your father's ambition my deal I made with the demons to use you as a host..."
"Did you know he loved me very much, till I told him of my plan to become a demon like him…" She explained thinking back.
"He tried to leave but I couldn't allow that, so I decided to make him mine and I casted a spell on him placing it right on his heart." She smiled Quinn laid listening remembering the hole in his chest.
"That's why…" Quinn clenched her fist.
"After I did he became my puppet killing as I had order till he brought you home after I gave the order to kill your original mother, I guess you could say he felt guilt and felt he needed to protect you from me." Mother revealed.
"W-what?" Quinn asked to find out the truth.
"You could say I was a bit jealous, but it didn't matter you would be dead soon."
"What do you mean my original mother!?" Quinn yelled feeling the tears collect.
"Do you know what I'm going to do now Quinn?" Mother asked looking back at her.
"What the hell is wrong with you!? You're worse than demons!" Quinn yelled.
"I'm going to kill you." She smiled.
"I'm going to slice this skin you have clean off your body, I'm going to extract those big eyes of yours, I'm going to take you apart piece by piece!" she smiled holding the knife in hand till mother flew back from a blast hitting the wall.
"Ahh!" she growled looking forward to see the witch from before.
"Stupid human hag! Did you think I would allow myself to be killed by something as weak and ugly as you!?" the witch growled collecting the ball of energy in her hand throwing it Quinn desperately struggled to get her wrist free as the fight between the two started.
"I need to get out!" Quinn growled as she fought against the restrains causing them to bleed the blood from her wound allow her left hand to slip through. The witch collected two balls of energy this time around and threw them Quinn gasped knowing the witch's attack would cause the place they were in to fall.
"Shit!" Quinn cursed.
"Oh no!" the witch cried out to see her misdoing Quinn sat on the table wide eye as everything around her went black; Quinn laid under the ruble of the remains of her home she struggled to breathe her eyes barely open.
"The pieces of wood are piercing your lung and heart you'll be dead in seconds."
"Is this how you want to die?" the voice asked Quinn' arm twitched.
"I can feel the ambition in you, I could save you but first you have to let me in…" the voice spoke.
"What… are you….?" Quinn asked weakly.
"Why don't we skip the introduction? You're running out of time here." The voice explained.
"So will you let me in?" the voice asked once more Quinn laid closing her eyes taking her last breath. Demons that were around the area were drawn in from the sounds and now were looking through the rumble searching for a meal till ruble went flying. Quinn emerged standing covered in dirt and blood.
"Aah I was trapped in that jar for so long." Quinn spoke looking at her arms as they quickly healed from the wounds she received a grin appearing on her face, her once blue eyes now golden. One of the demons growled sprinting towards her. Quinn quickly pulled one of the pieces of wood from her chest throwing it at the demon stopping it in its tracks.
"Why don't we have some fun guys?" Quinn asked turning her body facing the crowd of demons; Vergil stood looking around there was ruble everywhere followed by demon limbs till he heard rustling Quinn stepped out looking at Vergil the two had a moment as silence as Quinn walked passed him.
"Who are you?" Vergil asked Quinn stopped looking back at him.
"I don't have a name." She replied.
"How did you get inside of her?" Vergil asked.
"She was dying." She replied Vergil stayed quiet knowing this was going to be a problem.
"I recognize that scent." She smiled turning her body facing Vergil now.
"You've got his scent," She commented as Vergil kept his back turned to her.
"I'm going to guess here, but are you the spawn of a certain demon who turned his back on all demons?" she asked Vergil refused to engage in conversation with the demon behind him.
"Get out of her body." Vergil demand.
"What if I refuse? Clearly you need this girl for something, something important maybe?" She smiled enjoying herself.
"Don't make me repeat myself." Vergil replied turning his body facing the demon.
"Hmm, you're so demanding." She grinned till she felt something the demon stood still feeling a sharp pain from inside of her.
"What?!" the demon asked confused.
"You worthless thing, how are you still alive!?" the demon growled following to ground in pain their eyes changing from golden to their original color.
"No, not yet! I just got my freedom!" they growled till they gave a cry of pain out falling over passing out. Vergil approached the body looking down at Quinn who lay on the ground not moving.
"What a pain you are." He glared as he crouched down to her checking to see if she was still alive, he held his fingers to her neck feeling her pulse.
Quinn laid in a bed the sun was coming in through the crack of the window Quinn slowly opened her eyes staring up at the ceiling for a moment, she slowly sat up getting up from the bed holding her head trying to remember what had happened. She shook her head walking over to the window looking out everything seemed normal, Quinn sighed making her way to the door only to have it open before she could open it herself. Vergil stepped in closing the door behind him staring at Quinn.
"You…" She spoke.
"What…?" She asked only to have Vergil quickly withdraw his blade from the sheath and pierce her with it, Quinn gasped looking down to see his blade inside of her.
"Ahh…" She stood in shock as to what had just happened Vergil pulled his blade out cleaning it as Quinn stepped back placing her hands on her wound she stumbled back shaking in fear. She was going to die, this demon had killed her.
"There's a demon inside of you." Vergil spoke.
"Ah?" Quinn asked looking up at him her hands covered in her blood.
"The wound I just gave you should have killed you by now." Vergil pointed out, Quinn blinked looking down she quickly pulled her shirt up noticing the hole was gone.
"What the hell…?" she asked.
"Get dressed and find that book." Vergil ordered turning to leave the room.
"W-wait! You just stabbed me!" Quinn yelled Vergil stopped.
"I couldn't think of a better way to break it to you." He replied before leaving the room.
"What?!" Quinn asked.
