Chapter 10
Clarke got to the gate seeing Finn's face peeking in the gate, his eyes full of fear and when his eyes landed on Clarke guilt and sadness filled his face.
Nobody in camp had been told what he'd done to Clarke and the only people with enough mussel to really do damage to him were Bellamy and Miller and they both were out running around in the trees looking for him.
"Where have you been man?"
"You sneaking out to fuck a grounder?"
The comments from camp members pulled Clarke back to the moment, she found herself waving him inside.
"Clarke." Finn's hands were up in surrender like he was approaching a spooked animal. "I'm me I promise."
Clarke stayed still as she looked into Finn's eyes, eyes that didn't appear to be fogged by rage or hate.
"Finn?-" Clarke was cut off by a very pissed off one.
"What the hell are you doing here!? Get the hell away from her!"
Octavia yelled running over to Clarke and Finn, she couldn't believe he had the nerve to come back here. She couldn't believe her brother was out looking for this asshole and he'd walked right into camp.
"I can explain." Finn said softly, his eyes only on Clarke.
"Go to the second floor of the drop ship and lock it, I'll be right there." Clarke instructed, turning away from him and to Octavia, grabbing the girls arm when she tried to move towards him."
"What going on?" A nearby camper asked.
"Mind your own business." Octavia snapped eyes on Clarke.
"Clarke what the hell, he's going to the drop ship. You've invited the enemy into the heart of the camp."
"He's not the enemy-"
"WHERE IS THAT BASTARD!?" Raven yelled coming towards the two girls, Jasper and Monty beside her.
"Raven Calm down, the Princess here has invited him in for fucking tea." Octavia's snide remark stung Clarke.
Princess had started out as a nasty reminder of her ark status but Bellamy had changed it more of his pet name for her.
"WOW kitty has some claws." Monty chuckled, trying to joke to relieve the tense situation.
"Yea well Kitty needs to back the hell off." Clarke snapped turning and quickly walking to the drop ship.
She heard from behind her Octavia tell Raven what was happening but Clarke was already to far away from any of them to catch up. She was up the ladder and locking the second floor before Raven could enter the first level.

"Clarke!" Raven yelled trying to open the hatch but it was locked
"She's not going to let you up there." Octavia said arms crossed.
"Well they can't stay up there forever." Jasper said.
"Why is she protecting him after he hurt her."
"I don't know, what I do know is Finn's not getting out of this camp alive. Bellamy won't allow it. We just have to wait them out until he gets back."
"The suns going down, should be any minute now."

Clarke looked across the room at Finn who'd kept his distance from her, not wanting to move to fast.
"I'm really happy your ok." Finn said breaking the silence.
Clarke looked at him confused so Finn added shamefully "After I attacked you, Miller kicked me out and I couldn't see if you were breathing or not."
Clarke's eye lids fluttered "Why?" was the only thing she could think of to say.
"I don't want to give you excuses because no matter what, what I did to you Clarke. You can't forgive that."
Clarke watched as Finn looked back at her, they looked at each other for a long while before Clarke spoke her eyes falling to the ground.
"I forgive you."
"NO!" Finn yelled, kicking the barrel that was beside him.

"What the hell was that!" Raven gasped, panicked for Clarke's life.
There was a loud crash from the upper floor and only silence followed, Octavia joined Raven as the two banged on the hatch yelling to Clarke but they got no response.

"I raped you Clarke! right here in this very room! How can you say that you forgive me when I don't forgive myself."
"First of all it wasn't rape, you never got that far remember. Secondly-"
"Stop making excuses."
"Hey!" Clarke snapped getting Finn's attention. "I don't believe it was you who did all those horrible things to me. I want to hear your excuse, I want to know what caused you to do what you did."
Finn swiped at his angry tears sitting on the ground in front of Clarke but he still kept distance.
"I'd made a trip out to the bunker, wanting to get away from camp. I was down there for a while and when I finally camp up I closed the hatch and was hit with some kind of smoke bomb. I couldn't see anything, and in less than a minute I was knocked out cold. I woke up the next morning with a bandage on the side of my neck and one on the inside of my elbow."
"What were they there for?"
"I looked under it and they looked like needle marks, anyway I came back to camp and I saw you, and I saw you walk into the drop ship with Bellamy. And I got so angry. Sure I didn't like you together before but I was never that mad about it. I just wanted to hurt you and him both. Next thing I know you and me were up here and I was... I had no control over my words and actions. I was me but it wasn't. I wanted to touch you the way I was and Kiss your skin the way I was. And then it just escalated and I hit you..."
Clarke shook her head "Do you think the grounders-?"
"No." Finn shook his head. "After Miller kicked me out of the camp I went and stayed in the bunker, I kept getting flash backs as whatever was injected into me wore off. I remember waking up a couple times in a pure white room. People in masks like a hospital standing over me."
"Defiantly not grounders."
"Whoever they were Clarke, they are not someone we want to mess around with."
Clarke nodded, this meant there were more than just them and the grounders on earth. Other beings had survived the bombs.
"Why'd you come back now?"
"I wanted to wait make sure every ounce of drug was gone from my system before I came back, I didn't want to rick hurting you more than I already had."
"Bellamy's out right now looking for you." Clarke informed.
Finn nodded "But the whole camp doesn't know."
"I didn't want to tell anyone else, Bellamy was the last of our friends to know." Clarke went into everything that happened once Miller made Finn leave.

"Open the gate!" Octavia heard a muffled voice called.
"Bellamy and the guys must be back." Raven said standing up. "Which one of us is going to be the unlucky soul who gets to tell him his girlfriend locked herself up there with her assailant."
"It sure as hell won't be me." Jasper said quickly, Monty seconded it.
Raven and Octavia went together walking up to Finn and Miler who'd been stopped by Fox. They just caught the tail end of their conversation.
"and then Finn showed up and -"
"What did you say?" Bellamy snarled, his eyes lifted up seeing Raven and his sister coming towards him he knew it was turn.
"Where the hell is he!" Bellamy snapped at them.
"Listen Bell it happened fast and Clarke's not thinking straight." Octavia said beating around the bush.
"She locked herself and Finn on the second level of the drop ship."
Bellamy took off with Miller and the girls behind him, he entered the drop ship seeing Jasper and Monty sitting off to the side away from the ladder.
He climbed quickly trying to lift the hatch, then remember Raven said it was locked. He pounded on the hatch "Finn you're dead get the hell out here!"
"Bellamy stop! Don't you think we tried that." Raven said "We heard commotion up there a while back and then nothing. It's been silent for a very long time."
Bellamy continued to bang on the hatch over and over again until he heard Clarke's voice.

"Coming back here was a mistake Bellamy is going to kill me, that is if Raven and Octavia don't." Finn said standing.
"I won't let them hurt you." Clarke tried to re insure, but it was getting late and Bellamy would be back soon "Finn you're ok now, we just need to move on from what happened and we'll be ok."
Clarke had left out the part that she wouldn't be around much longer, Finn didn't need to be more freaked out than he already was.
The pounding on the hatch sounded again and it wasn't Raven's muffled voice this time, It was Bellamy's.
"I don't think some people will be as forgiving." Finn said a voice of nerves.
