I'm so, SO sorry that I didn't updated this story for a very long time! I tried to update this story much sooner, but I was too busy with school, work and traveling these couple of years =)

"It's this way…"

Nami made sure she has Vegeta hot on her heels while they're flying south. Now and then she would look behind to see if he's still willing to follow her. Vegeta had a smirk plastered on his face and his arms crossed. 'If only he knew..' she thought to herself. 'I really, REALLY don't want to do this..' Just thinking about it disgusted her. 'oh well, here goes nothing'.

'When I get the last dragon ball in my possession I will fulfil my wish for immortality and become the supreme ruler of the universe, and Frieza will die!" Just thinking about this made him chuckle in delight. Vegeta looked at the woman in front of him and wondered why it takes them so long to get to her friends. They're flying for 3 minutes straight and he's sure the two Earthlings didn't get that far away. He's had enough of this.

"Tell me woman, where are your friends? They couldn't be THAT far away!" Nami abruptly stopped mid-air and luckily Vegeta was fast enough to react. "What do you think you're doing?!" He growled at her. Nami turned around and smirked at him. "Sorry about that.. we're here." Vegeta looked around but saw no signs of the Earthlings, only deserted islands and water. He couldn't even sense them even if he wanted to.

"They're not here! You've led me to the wrong direction, didn't you" Nami frowned at Vegeta. "What makes you actually think I would lead you to them?" This of course infuriated him more. "YOU FOOL! You really don't get it do you?! Don't you know by now that there's someone else far more powerful than any of us on this planet. If Frieza makes his wish before me we'll all going to die! No one on this planet can stop him!"

"I know.." she flew closer to him so their noses almost touched. Vegeta flinched in reaction and didn't know what to think of this act. "Wh-what are you doing? Stay back!" He backed away from her and Nami smiled sweetly at him while slowly closing the space between them.

"You're cute when you're acting like this Vegeta" She laughed at his facial expression. He was blushing now. "Stop this or-"

"Or what Vegeta? What kind of punishment did you had in mind for me?" For some reason he didn't feel like hurting her. He just felt embarrassed and confused, he really didn't want to be that close with her. It made him feel weird! She chuckled at him and gave him a bit space. She didn't think he would be this shy! Although it really looked adorable and all, she needs to get back to her friends. This is her chance! Nami stood in a pose and prepared herself.

"SOLAR FLARE!"

Before he could react a bright light flashed right into his eyes. "DAMN YOU WOMAN! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS YOU SCUM!" Nami made sure to damage him more by throwing a big ki blast, sending him deep into the water. He cried out in pain and she flew as fast as she could to another direction far away from Vegeta and in search for her friends.

"KRILLIN! You need to fly steady I'm almost slipping y'know?!" Bulma screamed into his ear. "Bulma please! It's hard to concentrate with a huge dragon ball in my hand and you're weight on my back.." She gasped at this and Krillin instantly regretted what he said. 'Oh god..'

"What are you implying?! That I'm fat? How dare you! You should feel lucky that a beautiful young woman - ME - is willing to hold on to your back, you jerk!"

"I didn't mean it like that Bulma, I'm sorry!" he said apologetically in hopes she would let him breathe from her grasp. "Hmm? I think I sense Gohan there!" A bright light came rushing at them and when they could make something out of it they could indeed see Gohan.

"Hey Krillin!"
"Gohan!"

"You guys, look what I've found!" Gohan said happily while proudly presenting them the 4 star dragon ball. "Yes! Way to go Gohan!" Krillin said proudly. "I see you guys also found another dragon ball! Where did you get that from?"
"Uh yeah about that.. we should really land somewhere so we can explain everything to ya" they all landed and Krillin could finely rest. Gohan was wondering why they met each other on his way to their meeting spot and also, where's Nami?

"Gohan we'll have to save the celebrating for later because right now we got to get outta here"
"Yeah I know. When I was flying back I could sense huge power levels coming towards Bulma. And hey, why is Nami not with you guys? I thought she would be back by now" they both told Gohan what happened and Nami's plan. Gohan worried about his aunt. She's strong but there were so many powerful people on this planet, also in search for the dragon balls. She can't handle them all by herself.

"How do we know for sure she will be successful? I mean.. this is Vegeta we're talking about and then there's Turles and another super powerful being!"

"She would come to us when she dealt with Vegeta. Don't worry about her I think she knows what she's doing, have more faith in her!" Bulma said while searching in her jacket. "Ah, found it!" She threw a capsule to the ground and a huge cool box presented itself. "Alright! We can put the two dragon balls in here for now. They should fit and I'll pack it back into the capsule"
"Good! We should go now before Vegeta finds us. Nami told us where to meet so follow me Gohan. I'll carry Bulma on my back"

"Right!"

When Turles finally arrived he found out that his dragon ball was lost. He looked everywhere, even in the water just in case it rolled down there because of the earthquakes lately. He became frustrated and couldn't believe someone could find it that easily.

"Shit! Someone stole it from me, but how? No one could detect the dragon ball unless..." and then it hit him. These Earthlings had probably so much experience with the dragon balls, surely they have some sort of device to track them down. "DAMMIT! I was so close! Just one more dragon ball and I could've had made my wish.. I need to find them but how?" He didn't had a scouter with him and he wasn't used to this energy sensing technique yet. He really didn't want to do this, but he needs Vegeta's help.

"Damn it.." He sits on one of the dragon balls and thought about a plan. "If they really have some sort of device that can seek out dragon balls, then I can't be careless about leaving here. They want these 5 too, I need to wait until Vegeta finds me and help me find these brats. After that I'll think about how to deal with Vegeta". He could always trick Vegeta in believing there was one more dragon ball involved.. But he'll probably won't believe that. With any luck the dragon will maybe grant them two wishes.

"Or I could simply wish to make more wishes.. Ugh, this is getting annoying!"

Meanwhile on the other side

"AAAAAHHHH WHEN I FIND YOU I'LL KILL YOU! YOU'RE DEAD!" Vegeta flew out of the water with enormous speed and went after Nami's direction. "I SWEAR IT! YOU ARE DEEEEAAAAD!" He flew as fast as he could back to the first hiding spot where he originally found them. Unfortunately for him they weren't there. He blew off the cave out of frustration.

"That damn woman! They're hiding again, I can't sense their energy" he looked around him but there was no sign of them. "I'll find them, the instant they make their next move I'll find them! No one makes a fool out of me! I swear they'll regret the day they were ever born!" He was burning in rage because of Nami's little stunt. He can't believe he fell for her stupid trap. He should've known he couldn't trust her that easily. She's a saiyan after all, she wouldn't go down that easily. "They won't leave here without trying to get the other dragon balls, and when that time inevitably comes they will have to deal with me" he chuckled darkly. As long as he got a dragon ball, no one can make a wish.

"I need to get Turles! We need to find these little pests and start granting my wish before it's too late. Playtime is over!".

"I think we'll be save here! Vegeta will never find us" Gohan said happily. "Why would anyone look for us in such a horrible place?!" Bulma said disgusted. "Well, look on the bright side Bulma. At least this way you're not stuck in a cave anymore"

"Krillin is right, you just gotta be positive that's all"
"You want positive, alright, I am positive that we have no food nor water or even a bathroom for that matter. How's that for positive?!"

"I know but we need to-" and before Krillin could finish his sentence he felt someone behind him and quickly turned around. They were all startled by Nami's sudden arrival. She was panting heavily for air but other than that, she was fine.

"Nami, you made it!"

"You're all here! Did you put the dragon ball in the capsule like I said?" Gohan gave Nami a big hug and they all nodded. "We sure did! How did you get rid of Vegeta?" Krillin asked in wonder. "I used Tien's Solar Flare technique and made sure he couldn't come after me. He was very suspicious, after a few minutes he wasn't willing to follow me anymore and I waited for the right moment before attacking him. After that I came here as fast as I could"

"You let that maniac live?! You do know he will haunt us down for these dragon balls! There's no way Vegeta will let us get away THAT easily" Bulma made her point alright but Nami couldn't risk a real battle with Vegeta. Not when there was this other powerful guy Vegeta told her about. Even Vegeta was afraid, that much she could tell and she wasn't exactly sure how much stronger Vegeta had become after their fight on Earth.

"Hey I got an idea Bulma. Why don't you wait here while Nami, Gohan and me visit Guru to get him awaken their hidden powers"

"I will not be left out here all by myself, okay?!"

"You gotta trust me, first of all we'll be back before you know it. second, when we do return Vegeta won't stand a chance against us"

"What are you talking about?" Nami and Gohan are getting curious now. Either he had found a solution or he's just getting crazy. "I'll explain everything on our way, but we really should get going before it's too late!"

"At this speed it'll take us too long to get there Krillin.. I know we can't draw any attention but it's been nearly 4 days already. How far is it?" Nami said concerned. Krillin nodded in agreement. "I know, but if we use more ki than this, Vegeta will find us, no doubt about it."

"You really think we have enough power to rival Vegeta? I wouldn't think so" Nami had to agree with Gohan on this. "Well, I had much latent power, so with you both having saiyan blood, I think we're okay to expect quite a lot." Krillin just hopes it'll be enough to at least defeat Vegeta and Turles. And hopefully Goku will be here too, he'll be so much stronger! "But how far is it from here? It can't be that far away anymore, right?" Nami's getting impatient and she also worries about Bulma. She's been there all by herself and who knows what has happened to her. "It's not that far away anymore.. You know what, how about we try drastically raising our pace? I'm pretty sure Vegeta will not know" they all agreed on this and started to fly at full speed. "If we fly at this speed it'll only take us one hour to reach Guru's!".

Unfortunately for them, Vegeta was able to sense their energy. He was now together with Turles, guarding the dragon balls from their enemies.

"I've found you at last!" Vegeta stood up and faced Turles who looked at him in surprize. "You found the Earthlings?"
"There are three presences to be exact. Kakarot's son, his foolish sister and that midget Earthling!" but what Vegeta didn't know was that they were not after his dragon balls. This made him a bit confused. He had a plan with Turles to take them down, steal their dragon ball locator and find the other dragon balls.

"I thought they would be coming here for the dragon balls. But they're somewhere pretty far away.. I don't know what they're planning, but if I let this opportunity pass, we won't have another chance to force the location of the two remaining dragon balls." Vegeta suddenly got an idea and smirked at his clever mind. "Turles, I need you to stay here and guard these dragon balls. If you see anyone else besides me, kill them. We can't afford another mistake! I'll get the other dragon balls"

"You don't need help to take them down?"
"No, they're no match for me" Vegeta then flew after the others.

"You're going to pay this time for sure! Brace yourselves!"
