Sorry! I kinda lost interest in writing for a short while and was taking care of things with my family. Please don't leave flames. I love my reviewers. I've been thinking of maybe starting a new story and I have a few ideas, but I want some of my readers to leave me ideas. I want to know what I my readers want me to write. "This is Daren. The Alpha of the pack. The pack that I call home. And my childhood friend." Lucy says as she hugs him close, still stradling him.
Currently:
Daren smirks at the female and grasps her thighs, lifting her up as he stands, holding her close to his body.
"I'm glad you didn't forget about me, Luce-chan!" Daren says with a chuckle as a golden light shimmers around the male, a silver tail popping out and silver wolf ears appearing on the top of his head, one of the ears twitching as he twirls the giggling female around. "What happened to your blond hair?" Daren asks as he tugs on one of the burgundy highlights curiously.
"I needed a change." Lucy shrugs as she wraps her arms around the male's neck in another hug, making Mira squeal at the sheer adorableness of the scene.
"Is she okay?" Daren asks the blond curiously.
"She's like Lina." Lucy deadpans, making Daren pale significantly as the two engage in a staring contest, or what looked like a staring contest to the guild.
'Is she all about matchmaking?' Daren asks, using his telepathy.
'She's worse. She sees potential couples with two people who know nothing about each other. She's tried matchmaking me with multiple people already. But I think I found my mate.' Lucy replies, making Daren grin.
'What's this? The lone wolf finally found her other half?' Daren teases, making the blond blush.
'Mou! Why does everyone find it funny to tease me?!' Lucy pouts and jumps away from the silver-haired male.
"Come on, Luce-chan! You know I'm teasing you!" Daren says aloud.
"Hmph." Lucy turns away from the male and walks off to the Rajinshuu's table to eat her cold food with a pout gracing her lips.
"Luce-chan!" Daren whines as he stands behind the blond, poking her shoulder repeatedly.
"Leave me alone Da-kun!" Lucy snaps, turning around with a warning growl escaping her lips.
"Right. The lone wolf's eating." Daren teased, poking the blond one last time before settling into the seat next to her.
"I'm confused." Gray says, staring at the two Wolf Slayers.
"Da-kun has telepathy. He needs eye contact at least to communicate and sometimes, if he's low on magic, physical contact to use his telepathy. I'm considered the lone wolf because I'm the only member of the pack who doesn't have a mate yet. Besides Da-kun." Lucy says, sneering at the male.
"I'm actually courting Lina." Daren says, turning his nose up at the blond, a small blush on his face.
"What about Jake? Wasn't he her mate?" Lucy asks, tilting her head as she looks at the blushing male.
"Jake died." Daren says, his tone turning sober as he looks at the table.
"I didn't feel him vanish." Lucy says, her tone turning accusing. "The Beta always feels the missing links." She adds as she glares at him.
"I didn't feel it either." Daren admits as he looks at the blond. "I thought he was out hunting until Lina arrived, her newborn pups in tow, a look of pain on her face. The hunters got him. That's why I'm here. We can't stay in the woods anymore without protection." He says, making Lucy freeze.
"We had a pact with the hunters. They swore to stop hunting us if we didn't kill innocents!" Lucy roars, shaking the guild hall.
"There were some rogue hunters." Daren says, placing a hand on the blonds shoulder, surprised when she shakes his hand off and stands up, sending the chair she was sitting on crashing to the ground, making all of the guild members present jump.
"They will pay!" Lucy roars. "They do not touch my pack and get away with it!"
"She's taken the Alpha role." Daren whispers, his eyes wide with awe and shock. "She's taken her birth right." He mutters, a wide smile on his lips as he bows to her. Lucy turns to her wolf form as she howls, a hollow sound, a broken cry as it echoes throughout Magnolia, calling her pack to her location.
"Daren." Lucy says, her chocolate eyes fierce and dark. "We're going hunting." She smarls as she hears the returning calls from the pack.
"Are you really going to break the treaty?" Daren asks as he stands next to the golden wolf.
"The treaty's already broken. All the hunters knew of it, and these ones broke it. They WILL pay for breaking the treaty!" Lucy snarls as she looks at the Master. "Sorry Master. I might not return for a while. I have to take care of the pack. It's my role as Beta."
"You're the Alpha." Daren says, his voice showing the exasperation he felt. "You took your rightful role."
"Whatever! We can deal with this later!" Lucy snaps as she turns into her half wolf form, staring at the doors, willing her pack to find her, her golden wolf tail swishing in anger.
"Relax, Luce-chan!" Daren says, putting his hand on the blond's shoulder, sighing when the blond shakes it off once again.
"Freed! Go calm Lu-chan down!" Evergreen snaps, pushing the green-haired mage forward. Caught by surprise, the Rune Mage stumbles forward, his body colliding with the blond's raising a brow when he feels the blond relax instantly and steadies him, almost as if on instinct.
"So you're Luce-chan's mate?" Daren asks, staring at the male, his ears and nose twitching, an act which most of the guild's females found adorable. "I approve." He says, nodding his head as the blond snaps her head towards him to glare at him.
"Not now, Daren!" Lucy shouts as she turns back towards the door, stepping forward as the door slams open and about 20 wolves run in, panting heavily, one limping forward, carrying three pups in her mouth.
"LINA!" Daren yells as he runs up, instantly transforming into his wolf form and gently taking the pups from the female and Lucy bounds up, healing the limping wolf.
"Daren!" Lina whimpers as she nuzzles his neck, obviously still grieving her lost mate. "We were attacked on our way here. We only lost two members of the pack."
"Who did we loose?" Lucy asks, rubbing the wolf's neck. "It looks like everyone's here.
"Two of my pups are dead." Lina says, tears gathering in her large blue eyes, making Lucy freeze.
"They killed pups?" Lucy snarls, removing her hands from the wolfs neck, so as to not kill her as her nails begin growing, becoming claws instead. "They will pay!"
