See! Im here! A little later then I thought I would be but anyway. I really tried my best on this. I know it may be a bit rushed some places or a bit confusing on others, but I really tried. Lets start enjoying Buggys butt being kicked! Here we go! grabs a bowl of popcorn
Before I could move a muscle Luffy sprung forward. His eyes shadowing as he ran, grinding his teeth.
"Shanks is a great man! You were comrades?! DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF WITH HIM!" He roared and kicked Buggy in the gut with his full strength. Making him cripple on the ground from the pain.
"Don't ever say you and Shanks was comrades!" Luffy growled over him, pissed beyond measure.
Buggy gasped and coughed trying to get his breath back. Even like this he still freaking talked!
"Its my right to say what I want about Shanks!"
Luffy grabbed both of his cheeks and dragged them out to the sides. Still furious under his childlike demands. "Spit it out! What happened between you and Shanks?!"
Under this confrontation I had picked up the hat and gently tried to fix it. Luffy let Buggys cheeks go and pushed him away in frustration.
"Damn. How dare you do that to my treasure…" He turned to see me with it in my hands. Gently patting and stroking the surface like a mother to its kittens. Going quiet his attention was yet again caught by Buggys annoying presence. Finally gaining breath back Buggy sat up, staring at Luffy.
"You really want to know? He is the only man I can never forgive! I will curse him for the rest of my life! I will never forgive that guy!"
I remember the flashback scene in the series. Buggy was and still is a big red nosed and empty headed idiot. And a greedy bastard! Even more greedy then Nami! I sweatdropped at the thought. Okay, maybe not as much as Nami… Maybe. I didn't pay any attention to Buggys tale. It interested me straight in the back how much of a stupid idiot he was.
The only one of the two could poke my interest again when Luffy signalized that the story was over.
"Ehh, So Shanks saved your life."
"THAT WAS NOT THE POINT I WAS TRYING TO MAKE!" Buggy fumed and posed a lame stance that didn't make any sense. "Because of him, my plan was delayed 10 years! I have realized… If I can't get the treasure beneath the sea, I will just grab all the treasure on land. With my splitting ability…"
Steps caught my ear and I turned to see Nami. I knew Buggy had seen her too. I rushed up from my crouching position, only to stumble. I had lost a lot of blood, and I couldn't reach my wound with my cat tongue. Cursing my own weakness I watched as Buggy continued to get ready to attack Nami. "So if anyone dare to touch my treasures. No matter who they are, I wont let them live!" He flung forward "MY TREASURES! UNHAND THEM!" he yelled at Nami that panicked at his approach.
For me, everything went in slow motion as I watched Luffy turn back to the lower part of Buggys body. I cringed as the sound of Luffys foot making contact with Buggys vital area reached my ears. I am a girl, but dear all that is precious I have sympathy for anyone, even Buggy, that is being kicked in that area. Even if he deserved every bit of it. Both parts of Buggys body fell to the ground twitching. Luffy turned to his upper body and smiled, finally calmed down a little from the small revenge.
"You opponent is me."
I shifted a bit to sit more comfortably. Unwrapping my 'make do' bandage, I rewrapped it around my bigger wound. The hat on my head fluttered a bit from the wind. I get why Luffy like it so much. This whole time I have hold on to it I have felt safe, and I wont deny my fangirl heart was exhausted from freaking out from the moment I touched it. If I would explain the safe feeling I had, it had to be because it was a silent promise that he would be back to claim it. He would never leave. I snapped out of my deep thoughts when Luffy yelled at Nami.
"Hey! Leave the treasure and run, or he will come for you again!"
"No! Leave the treasure you say? Definitely not! Why should I throw away my treasure?"
Stupid, stupid, stupid! "Dont be a god damn idiot Nami!" I yelled frustrated "Look out!"
"Those are your treasures?!" Buggy glared at Nami from where he was spread out on the ground.
"Of course it is! I'm a thief that steals from pirates. Now that I've stolen from one, of course the treasures are now all mine!" Nami stated determine, ignoring my shout making me growl.
"How come everyone is so god damn rude" I mumbled and tried to get up.
"Ooh… I see!" Luffy said and hit his palm into his hand like he got it. I can't really argue with Namis point when its being put that way, but value your own life a bit more would you!
"Bullshit! Those are my treasures! You think its yours just because you stole it?! What kind of education did you have!" Buggy yelled furious. Nami eyes slit a bit and she raise her head, looking down at buggy like he was a worm.
"A crook lecturing another crook is…Ridiculous!" She laughed.
"What?!"
I stumbled over to Luffy and he caught my arm. Helping me become steady. We didnt exchange any words, just watching this stupid act of two greedy people confront each other.
"I will not bring myself down to the same level as you pirates." Nami pulled her tongue at Buggy, feeling extremely confident. Buggy growled and grind his teeth.
"You better prepare yourself, Nami! Bara bara Festival!" Suddenly every part of him was in hundreds of pieces and everything flew towards him and Nami, leaving me and Luffy to dodge the pieces from his lower body.
"If you think you can help your friend, you better do it now, rubber man." Buggy grinned over his shoulder. I looked behind us, I saw his feet and grabbed both of them.
"Shit! He split into even more pieces" Luffy lightly panicked.
I giggled and tapped his shoulder with one of the foots. He turned and stared in disbelief.
"what the?"
"Looks like he has a weakness with this ability of his" I threw one of them to him "Do your magic capt'n"
Ginning he pulled the foot out of the shoe and started tickling it. Buggy laughed his ass off. Luffy stopped and moved to stretching the skin on the top of his foot. A howl of pain reached our ears but he damn kept going after a running Nami. Frustrated Luffy lifted the foot above his head and slammed it down in the pavement.
"How much more can you take!"
The shriek that left Buggys mouth could belong to a 5 year old girl.
"Stop that!" He cried at Luffy, taking his eyes off Nami.
"The one that should stop is YOU!" She yelled and threw the big bag of gold at his face. Earning a impressed sound from Luffy.
"Baka" I sighed and Buggy grinned at Nami over the bag.
"You have returned the treasure to me."
I couldn't take it any more. I turned on my heel and started walking with Buggys foot in my hand.
"Nivea? Where are you going?" Luffy didnt take his eyes of the two.
"Just to fetch Zoro. The fight is soon over anyway and my ears are damn tired from the bickering these two are having." I rubbed one ear and Luffy chuckled a bit.
"I see. I will met up in minute" He raced off and kicked Buggy out of the way "Didn't I tell you that I am your opponent?!"
I shut the fight out and adjusted the hat. It was really comfortable.
"Maybe I should get myself something too" I mumbled.
Maybe, but something that wouldn't get in the way for this hat. I am not calling off my freaking privilege of carrying this. No way in hell. I hummed content and caught the sight of the mayor on the ground. Gotta admire the will from that old body. A hell lot of old people are freaking killing machines here, kinda prove that age have no damn reason to be lazy. Lost in thought I sat down beside Zoro, playing with some rubble and destroyed spin tops. I had long since let the foot go. The sound of footsteps made me lift my head.
"Hey Luffy" I smiled and got at my feet. Taking off the hat I gently put it in his hands. He took it with a blank face. Knowing fully well what went through his head I turned away, giving him space to deal with the damage. Deep down I was fighting with myself if my interference with the damaged hat would have grave consequences.
"Im sorry about your hat" Namis calculating gaze measured Luffy.
"Thats alright, I can still wear it. Im not angry anymore since Buggy's beaten."
My eyes snapped to her, freaking out under the surface. Luffys pissed off face was supposed to be in her memories when Luffy face Arlong. When Luffy stuff the hat on her head and yell to the sky. Holy shit! Making a quick review of the fight I calmed down. He said his lines, he reacted like he should, the story line is still in game. The price is a little blood and a hat in a fantastic shape.
"I can fix the cut later if you want" she muttered. I sighed in relief at those words. She is in.
"Huh? What?" Luffy had heard her. Im 95% sure about that, but he is kind. I shrugged and walked up Zoro.
"Nothing at all!" Nami brushed off but raised her hand with one of the treasure bags. She is so going to regret this. "Anyways, I had to split this into two. Can you help me carry one? Its really heavy"
"You never give up, do you?" Luffy sighed. I had great difficulty not grinning. I used my advantaged with a turned back to grinning like a fool.
"Buggy is very selective about his treasure, so everything here is high quality. All of this is probably worth 10 million beli!"
A silence followed. Knowing exactly what was going to go down I shut them out. The map is exciting but I would rather see it up close under a bit… calmer environments. Which it wont be in a few seconds.
"Hey Zoro, wake up!" I smirked at my captain when he stepped beside me.
"Great job Cap. Now we have the map too. Im glad you decided to join us on our journey for a short while." I gave Nami a sweet smile over my shoulder. Funny, I swear she gave me the same look she gave Luffy a few minutes ago. Calculating.
"I look forward to do business with you" She said back with a straight face.
"Oh loosen up girl. We are going to be on the same boat. Let the difference lay a bit, why don't we?"
I wanted to laugh at her slightly shocked but relaxing face. "Yeah, your right"
"You bet I am"
"Zoro, Lets go" Luffy patted his head a bit harder then I would say was good for a person with little blood. But, this is Zoro, his head is tougher than diamond.
Zoro grunted and got up holding his head from all the dizziness "Is the fight over already?"
"The map and the navigator. I got them all!" Luffy stated happily, grinning one of his real happy go lucky grins I loved more then anything. Zoro turned and sent the same calculating gaze to Nami as she had with us. But he let up as quickly as he turned, going paler than a sheet and that is saying a bit for a tanned person as Zoro.
"oh carp, I'm going to faint. I cant move either" he moaned, making me giggle quietly in my hand.
"Oh, poor little Zoro. Not good at keeping his wounds closed, is he?" I teased earning a weak glare from him and a snicker from Luffy.
"Of course if you could move, you guys wouldn't be human. And lay of the sick Nivea!" I showed her my tongue and she just rolled her eyes.
"Why was I included?" Luffy asked confused.
"YOU are the strangest of them all! Anyway, we should take a look at the Mayor."
"No need. He is fine. We have bigger problems" I sang and crouched down to Zoro. "Get ready to run" I grinned.
"You there!" a man shouted across the street making everyone turn to him "You are not from around here, are you?"
"ooh... the town is back to claim their friend" I smirked and flickered away the stone I had been playing with this whole time.
"Yeah… and you?" Luffy asked.
"We are the residence of this town. What happened to the pirates? If you know anything please tell us."
"Buffy flew" I said and examined my nails. They have gotten a bit sharper after all the half transformations from my anger, looks like it has been tearing a bit on my body. I need to get better at controlling my feelings.
"Buffy...? You mean Buggy?" a woman said confused
"Mmm, yeah. Who else have such a ridiculous name?"
"Oh, you are the residence. I thought there was more enemies." Nami sighed in relief
"I swear half of this world are deaf to my comments" I muttered and gathered up Zoros Katanas.
"Ooh! The Mayor!" A old man shouted and gained everyone's attention. Sending all of them into a complete panic. Fun…
"What happened?! Get a hold of yourself!" More comments like this filled the air as I placed the Katanas in Zoros lap.
"I would secure them if I were you" I grinned and stood up, getting ready to run.
"Sorry, I had to knock him out." Luffys straight face made me cover my mouth from nearly losing it.
"What?!" If looks could kill he would have been dead. The whole town reminded me of Gangsters or the Mafia. I almost felt proud for the people for being so concerned about one of their folks.
"Hey! You didn't have to say it!" Nami panicked.
"You saw it." Luffy bluntly pointed out.
"I did see it, but there is no good reason…" And she walked right into Luffys hand of being honest. The girl will learn in the end, but I quite sure her nerves is already worn out by Luffys crazy existence. She shut her mouth quickly when the town closed up on us.
"Why did you harm our mayor?" A spokesman growled.
"No excuses!" Another yelled in the back.
"Who are you people? Are you connected to the pirates?"
The tension was so thick you could cut it with butter knife. I think I ruined it a little from yawning loudly, but Luffy really popped that balloon way better.
"We're Pirates"
Nami nearly fainted. Zoro laughed his butt off. I grinned so wide my face could split in two. The town was tipped over and yelled in rage. And Luffy, in the middle, was as blank as a unused paper.
"We thought so!" The town yelled lifting their weapons.
"IDIOT!" Nami shouted in Luffys ear making him flinch.
"Its the truth." He exclaimed and walked over to Zoro and me.
"Pirates, how dare you cause so much destruction to our town!"
"We won't forgive you, even if you're kids"
"Yeah, and you are old people with too much wax in your ears" I showed them my tongue and crouched down with Zoro and Luffy.
"What now? They won't listen to anything anymore." Zoro smirked earning a big grin from Luffy.
Alright~ here we will end it for now. Seriously. Its the 10 chapter and I'm on the 8 episode. I'm a bit impressed by myself with this. I will see you around very soon! See ya! Waves as I fly away with Ignis to tackle the problems of life
