Chapter10
Hinata woke up early for a Sunday morning , it was almost eight in the morning , opening the window , the blue haired girl enjoyed the fresh breeze on her cheeks as the sun made it way towards her eyes. Looking to the window opposite to hers it was still closed .
'They're still asleep' thought Hinata
Walking to her closet, Hinata searched for her black sweatpants and her favorite blue t-shirt, along with a jacket, she put them on and tied her hair in a high ponytail, she was in the mood of running today , she grabbed an apple before exiting the house quietly, making sure she didn't wake anyone.
Putting her earphones on, Hinata started running as she played in her head all that happened in this week; the rumors lasted for two days but they were shut down, and for some reason she had a feeling it has something to do with the guy named Han that was beaten up outside school, after he made some inappropriate comment when the girl once bend down to pick up a falling pen. Some said it was Neji who kicked his ass , other said it was her "boyfriend" Itachi, others even blamed an Inuzuka but she barely knew him so it can't be him.
Of course she had to suffer the interrogation of her cousin, who first refused to believe it was a joke and has made up his mind to engage himself in a deadly fight with the older Uchiha, but Hinata was able to calm him down.
And then she had to suffer the other interrogations of her friends, who believed that she had some secret relationship which wasn't true. The rest of the week went rather well , she's got an A+ on her science project with Naruto , he was so happy he hugged her on the spot in front of the whole class, just the thought of it would make Hinata blush furiously and Sakura had to keep on commenting about it the whole week and how she was a chicken for not asking him out.
Deep inside Hinata wished she was more like Sakura confident and beautiful , she even passed the audition for the cheerleading team and she got in , she just need to pass a few tests but she'll definitely make it .
When she got tired Hinata headed back home , she was so over thinking that she didn't realize it was almost noon , all she have done was running in her neighborhood and the park , all she was thinking of right now was a cold shower. She was entering the Hyuga garden when she heard a greeting from the other side of the fence
"good morning super hot neighbor" said Itachi with his half smile
"good morning and don't call me that" said Hinata blushing a bit
"what? My mother told me to always say the truth" said Itachi and he received a sigh as a respond
"why didn't you wait for me it's our thing to go jogging in the morning? I've pushed you to do that" said Itachi pouting, Itachi would show his childish side to Hinata sometimes when she was mad at him
"there's no such thing as our, and I'm still mad at you by the way" answered Hinata turning her back to him
"too bad than I think I can't ask you to come to the party that Sasuke is throwing" said Itachi
"I'm not interested" said Hinata walking away slowly
"really? Did I mention it was on Naruto's honor?"asked Itachi , he had a satisfied smile when he noticed the girl stopped walking
"you didn't" said Hinata bitting her lower lip
"well its Naruto's birthday and Sasuke wants to through a surprise party at his house" said Itachi
"Sasuke? Really?" asked Hinata turning around giving him her full attention
"well technically it was all his friends idea but since Sasuke had the key to Naruto's apartment he was dragged in the plan" answered Itachi
"and what is your position in the…plan?" asked Hinata with a confused look
"it's his 18th birthday it has to be insane, so that things won't get out of hands I'll be in charge as an adult"said Itachi
"yeah , right, let me guess and as a responsible adult you are going to provide the alcohol and the other crazy stuff"said Hinata almost rolling her eyes
"how did you know? But no Sasori is in charge of the alcohol and Deidara of the other crazy stuff, I'm charge of getting the hot girls here" said Itachi with a smirk
"I don't know if I should feel offended or flattered" said Hinata
"so are you in?"asked Itachi
"ok, but not for you" answered Hinata before walking away
"I already know that" said Itachi
"but I'm still mad at you"said Hinata looking back to him trying to hide her smile
"I'll call you, you got to help us preparing, if I let Sasuke in charge of the food it will be a massacre" said Itachi which caused Hinata to laugh as she pictured the stoic Uchiha in a burned kitchen
"ok see you later"said Hinata before opening the door of her house and walking in

Hinata looked around the apartment trying her best to hide her excitement, she was in her crush's apartment for the first time, it wasn't too big or too fancy like her home , and she found it rather refreshing to be in a normal place. It didn't seem bad , Naruto was famous for being messy and she expected it to be untidy but it wasn't.
"ok so what do we do?"asked Sakura pulling her from her thoughts
"find something useful and do it Haruno" responded Sasuke with his could voice, why does he have to be so mean to everyone? Hinata didn't have the answer to that question but she knew it was just the way he is, she would have stud up for her best friend but she herself need someone to stand up for her, and the Uchiha was too hard for her ,so she just kept quite hoping that Sakura would forgive her
"I think what my foolish little brother is trying to say is we should devise the work , Haruno-san why don't you take care of the decoration, put the balloons and the happy birthday signboard" said Itachi with an impassive voice
"yes and I'll take care of the music, Neji will help me with the speakers and all the lighting stuff"said Tenten with a cheering smile
"that's the spirit, Kiba right? You can help Haruno-san with the heavy lifting" finished Itachi
"I need to do something youthful" said Lee with his grin
"just go grocery shopping" said Neji with an annoyed look on his face
"as for you Hinata , the kitchen is this way" said Itachi looking at the girl who nodded with a smile
" we have 3 hours before that idiot come back to home"said Sasuke hand in his pocket
Everyone was working as fast as they can , Sakura was finished with the balloons and was moving the furniture with Kiba so that the space would look bigger , Neji just finished installing the speakers and was helping Tenten to select the music, Itachi went with Lee shopping , and Hinata's cake was almost ready , she was now melting the chocolate to layer it on top of the baked cake, she decided she will than do some sandwiches along with the already ready dango and Onigiri , for the rest of the food department she knew she didn't have to worry since Choji said he would bring all the junk food like potato chips and candies.
Hinata was mixing the hot chocolate when her girl friends entered the kitchen
"Hinata-chan can we help you with something?"said Tenten
"thanks maybe you can cut the laitus"said Hinata with a smile
"sure" answered the brunette
"ladies "said Itachi to catch their attention
"is that sake?"asked Sakura
"yes but if your parents ask it's orange juice"answered Itachi who was going to put the bottles down before being stopped
"no, I don't want that here take it to the boys they'll know what to do with it" commended Hinata still focusing her attention on the thin layer she was putting gently on the cake
"yes ma'am, by the way a lot of people are already here and the fat guy arrived with all sort of snacks" said Itachi
"don't ever say that in front of Choji or he'll be in an endless rage"said Lee entering the kitchen with heavy bags full of the snacks that Choji brought
"whatever" said Itachi walking out
"wow, he's definitely Sasuke's brother" commented Tenten , taking the bags from Lee who fled like the wind, giving them to Sakura to put them in bowls
"I know! I mean how come two hot guys like the Uchiha brothers are single! Hinata you've known them better than anyone here right?" Said Sakura with her dreamy face
"yes" answered Hinata putting the perfectly finished cake in the fridge
"well? Break it down for us"said Tenten
"you know if you don't see them date doesn't mean that they don't" said the blue haired girl grabbing a knife as she started cutting the tomatoes for the sandwiches
"wait what?Sasuke-kun has a girlfriend?"said Sakura in horror
"or a boyfriend"commented Tenten making things worst
"No , believe me both Uchihas are not gay, you have no idea about the huge amount of girls I have seen coming into that house and not leaving before dawn" answered Hinata rolling her eyes at the memories
"but who where they for?"asked Tenten
"I don't know" answered Hinata , still slicing the tomato in her hand
"that's what I don't get, why don't Sakuke accept one of his fangirls ,me for example and make her his girlfriend?" said Sakura getting her daydreaming eyes back again
"Because he's an asshole! He's a cold hearted guy who will just rip off your heart and stab it with every harsh venomous word he'll say" said Hinata tightening her grip on the knife she was holding, as the rhythm of her hand work fastened
"Sasuke!"said Sakura with a gasp
"it not just him, it's in their genes , everything is annoying to them, everything is not worth taken care of, but mostly Sasuke he's a first class jerk , it's like he has no feelings at all, he think people's lives are just a game he can play with an when he's finished he'll just throw them" said Hinata as the rhythm of her cutting became even faster , it was almost like she was torturing those poor tomatoes
"Hinata I think you've said enough" said Tenten breaking a sweat, a sweat Hinata couldn't see because she was too focused on her fast working hands to notice, she didn't notice the tall smirking figure leaning against the wooden door either
"seriously it's like a rollercoaster, it will take you up to finally just" finished Hinata
"Knock you down?" finished a smirking Sasuke who was now standing next to the wide-eyed girl whose hands stopped immediately
"are you trying to kill those poor tomatoes Hyuga?"said Sasuke raising an eyebrow "or are they supposed to be me?" said Sasuke with a low voice so that the two other girls couldn't hear him
"Anyway I'm here to tell you to hurry up, all the guests are here and I'm going to bring that idiot" finished Sasuke not bothering to look at the other two open mouthed girls
"ehh, whatever" said Hinata turning around from the table she was facing to face the door, biting a slice of tomato
"that's supposed to be mine"said Sasuke taking away the half remaining slice from Hinata's mouth and eating it slowly, he then got closer to her ear and whispered
"and it feels luscious coming out from your mouth" he then walked away , leaving a furiously blushing Hinata staring at his back
"it wasn't yours" stated Hinata trying to fight the feeling in her stomach whether it was butterflies or just puke
"I was talking about the word whatever" said Sasuke turning his head to her before leaving the kitchen
"what the heck was that?!"asked Sakura
"why didn't you tell me he was here?"said Hinata
"we tried but you were enjoying taking him down to notice, and I wander why?"said Tenten
"you heard him Naruto is almost here let's put everything in place"said Hinata trying to change the subject as she took the bowls from Sakura's hands and walked to the living room.
The living room was full of Naruto's friends all here to celebrate his birthday, she recognized almost all the faces they were mostly guys, Naruto wasn't really popular around girls and Hinata hoped it will always be this way but she knew it wouldn't since he was so nice and caring
'so beautiful' thought Hinata.
"hey, Hinata!"said an enthusiastic blonde
"hey deidara-kun, Sasori-kun" said Hinata with a genuine smile
"it's nice seeing you again" Said Sasori
"thank you" Said Hinata
"Hinata-sama" called Neji
"I've got to go"said Hinata before walking toward her cousin, who was standing next to lee and Tenten, next to them Shikamaru Nara was looking bored and Choji was excited
"who are those guys Hinata-sama?"asked Neji with a tone Hinata knew well the I'm-going-to-protect-your-innocence-from-every-male-in-this-planet tone
'where was that tone when I need it' thought Hinata
"They're Itachi's friend" answered the girl with her innocent voice
"when did you knew them?"asked Neji with an iced voice
"a couple of days ago , when they dropped me after school" answered Hinata
"what?! And since when do you get in the car of strangers?" said Neji like he was scolding her
"I don't it was Itachi's car, they were with him" said Hinata
"is the interrogation over? Geez Neji let the girl breathe! you are strangling her, you do realize that one day she'll have a boyfriend and that there's nothing you can do about it" said Tenten rolling her eyes
"I can still kill the idiot" muttered Neji
"OK EVERYONE TURN OFF THE LIGHT AND HIDE THEY'RE ALMOST HERE" shouted Kiba, after reading the text he received from Sasuke moments ago
They all did as he said, the door opened slowly and they all shouted 'surprise!' and it was obvious that Naruto didn't expect it at all , he was so shocked at first and then his face lightened up.
Naruto never knew his parents, they died in a car accident when he was a baby , he was always lonely, and seeing all those people remembering his birthday made him feel loved, a feeling he never knew before.
A few minutes later the party was on, the music was playing , most of them were dancing; Tenten dragged Neji to the dance floor, and so did Naruto to Sakura, even Sai was trying to dance with Ino, while Lee and Choji looked pretty wasted trying to do some dance moves. Itachi was talking with his two friends and seemed pretty serious, while Hinata was sitting quietly in her corner, watching her friends enjoying themselves, she was particularly watching her crush having fun with her best friend, even though she was a bit jealous she was happy because he was happy.
"you know he'll never notice you if stay in your corner" said Sasuke who was leaning crossed arms on the wall, he was so posed and calm
"what?" said Hinata blushing
"that idiot he's the one you like right?"said Sasuke with his eyes closed like he was about to fall asleep
"what do you want Sasuke?" asked Hinata
"you do realize he's interested in Sakura" said Sasuke
"whatever" answered Hinata looking down at her feet, he may be saying that to annoy her but he was right it was no secret that Naruto liked Sakura since they were kids , he may be in love with her but Sakura only had eyes for one person and he was standing next to Hinata right now, making her feel bad
"it has become a habit to steal my words, does that mean I'm always in your mind?"said Sasuke smirking, his eyes still closed
"don't flatter yourself that much, you already have a whole club of fangirls to do that " said Hinata standing up
"don't provoke me Hyuga or you'll be stepping in the danger zone" said Sasuke this time glaring
"Hinata!Sasuke! come over here" shouted Naruto
They walked towards them, Hinata realized that they stopped dancing and were now sitting crossed legs on the floor in a circle. Hinata set down next to Sakura while Sasuke set right opposite to her between Shikamaru and Naruto.
"ok people let me explain the rules again, it's a truth or dare or drink, it's like a regular truth and dare but if the asked person don't want to respond he or she has to drink a cup of sake, the game will be over when more than half the players will be wasted or passed out" said Deidara with a grin
"ok then let's start" said Ino clapping her hands
"forhead, truth or dare?"said Ino
"dare" said Sakura
"get an appointment with a doctor and have a surgery to reduce the size of your forehead" said Ino
"you are crazy Ino pig" said Sakura before taking the bottle of sake and drinking
"to Shikamaru"said Sakura
"truth"
"if you were left in a deserted isle with Ino , you have no food , no water and you were left with a gun with only one bullet what would you do?"asked Sakura
"I'll shout Ino" answered Shikamaru
"WHAT?" shouted Ino
"well I'll be a gentleman and shout you first and I'll then starve to death" explained Shikamaru with a lazy voice
"thank you? I guess" said Ino
"to kiba" said the Nara boy
"truth" he answered
"what's the most embarrassing think your older sister made you do and for what prize did you agree to do it?"
"she made me strip for her best friend at her birthday for girls advice" answered kiba
"I can never look you in the eyes ever again" commented Naruto laughing
"shut up!"said Kiba blushing
"my question is for Neji"
"Dare"
"kiss the girl you like"said Kiba causing Neji to drink
"my turn I'll ask Sai" said Neji
"what's your sickest obsession?"asked Neji
"I like comparing the length of my penis with other penises"said Sai with a smile like it was such a natural to say
"well that's awkward" commented Kiba
"ok my turn, I want to ask the Hyuga girl" said Sai
"her name is Hinata"said Neji throwing him a deadly glare
"truth"said Hinata with her tiny voice
"how many times did you have sex with Itachi Uchiha?" asked Sai , causing everyone to lose it
Neji was about to charge at him if it wasn't for lee and Kiba who hold him in place, Itachi who was drinking , spilled out his drink, and Hinata lost the ability to talk or even move
"holy shit Uchiha's not gay!"said Deidara laughing
"WOW, DUDE you can't ask that" said Naruto hitting him in the back of his head
"why not? you've been all asking the same question a few days ago" said Sai
"WHAT?" said Hinata her face more red than it was before if that's even possible
"yes, guys you remember when you where trying to figure it out by the angles of hips" finished Sai
"shut up!"hissed Kiba
"yes but then Sasuke-teme explained it never happened" said Naruto
"it never happened" stated Hinata
"sorry"said Itachi with a low voice he was sitting to Hinata
"you are going to need more than that" said Hinata
"to settle this, I never kissed Hinata , we never went in a date, we don't have any boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, neither do we have a baby together , oh we are certainly not sex friends, is that clear" said Itachi
"ok let's carry on"said Ino disappointed ,now all her plans were useless, she wanted to seduce Sasuke using Hinata's relationship with Itachi but since there's no such thing she had to figure out something else and she knew Hinata was the key
A few rounds later and most of them were drunk, even Hinata felt a little dizzy since she refused to answer and do some embarrassing things, she looked around her; Neji and Choji had completely passed out , lee , Naruto and kiba were arguing about whether green was a fashionable color or not, Ino was stripping for Shikamaru and Sai. Itachi has left with Sakura and Tenten to bring them home safe.
Hinata decided to walk to get a glass of water but her vision was blurred , she bumped into someone and lost her balance , she would have fell if he hadn't catch her by her waist
"Easy Hyuga"said Sasuke
"hey look where you're going, are you drunk Sasuke?"said Hinata
"sure I'm the drunk one here, come on" said Sasuke rolling his eyes
"wait I love this song" said Hinata with a joyful voice, it was actually her favorite
"dance with me" said the girl more like an order
"what? I thought you'll hate me by now" said Sasuke a bit disappointed , he was supposed to make her hate him but she was so damn nice to hate someone even if that someone was doing his best in torturing her because he was so afraid of his own feelings that weren't supposed to exist
"I don't know, you…. Are… very ….confusing but I like….it, now dance with me this song was made for us" said Hinata dragging him to the dance floor
She put her arms around his neck , closing her eyes she started to dance to the rhythm of the music, like she was hypnotized by those lyrics , Sasuke decided to play along , the girl was right the song was perfectly describing them

They kept on dancing , they were both so relaxed , maybe it was the alcohol, or the music but it just felt right . Suddenly Hinata lost her balance and they both fell, luckily there was a couch .
Sasuke was sitting on the couch while Hinata was literally on his lap she was giggling
"you are pretty bold tonight Hyuga" said Sasuke smirking
"damn! Why is your voice so sexy?" said Hinata
"you think I am sexy?" asked Sasuke rasing an eyebrow
"everybody thinks you're sexy" Said Hinata
"you didn't answer my question"said Sasuke pushing her hair away from her face
"you never answer mines so" said Hinata pouting , she must be really drunk
"what do you want to ask" said Sasuke putting his arm around the girl's waist so that she won't fall
"first why where you so mean to me those past weeks?"asked Hinata
"Because like you said we are just like animals, we are preying on each other" answered Sasuke
"that's even more confusing" said Hinata
"I'm mean so that you'll prevent me from doing this" said Sasuke before grabbing her neck and pressing his lips on hers, but again he was wrong she didn't prevent him she just closed her eyes and grabbed his shirt like she was holding dear to life.
'damn!' thought Sasuke as the girl gave access to his tongue
