Hey guys happy to update again as promised a week later, but onto something more important I want to see this chapter posted!

Q: Yeah I obviously love buttons; I go nuts for those and key chains.

Yuki slowly walked up along the lake side, while the still water's reflection stared back at her. She smiled tenderly and looked up to the grey sky above her before letting out a happy breath.

"What a beautiful day." She smiled warmly while the wind blew through her hair in agreement. Her burgundy eyes opened again, while she glanced down to the ring on her finger. "Perhaps when I get back, I should talk to Kaname about wedding planning."

The illusion of her day came into mind, of the two standing together in bliss. She doubted that Kaname was someone who would insist on having a large celebration of nobles attending for their private occasion. It came into mind of the gown she would wear, and she could almost feel the soft white silk around her. The vision in mind of a strapless ball gown eluded her mind of all other thoughts, and was something improper for a pureblood to even allow themselves. While in her distraction, a small object whizzed by her ear. Almost in close contact to striking the skin, but instead embedded itself in the tree in front of her. Her defenses heightened while she spun back around to glare at whoever disturbed her thoughts only to see a pair of lilac eyes glaring back at her. A scowl appeared on her face by some unknown hatred stirring with in her blood at who dared attacked her, and was glad that one of Kaname's guard dog wouldn't interrupt her.

"What are you doing here?" She growled at him. Kiryuu's eyes widened before they narrowed again and he seized his gun to point directly at her.

"I'm here as part of the council."

"The President himself isn't supposed to return here in a few hours. You should leave too before the others wake up."

"I'm not afraid of any of you." He growled walking closer. "I came for answers from you."

"Oh answers?" She chuckled and glared at him. "What would you want to know from me?"

"For starters…why don't you remember me?"

"I have never met you before until yesterday, if that was all; I think I'll return to bed." She attempted to move past him when his fast reflex caught her shoulder to spin her into slamming against the tree. His gun resting against her head.

"Dammit, stop playing dumb Yuki!"

"How dare you!" She raised her hand to slap him when he caught her wrist and twisted it in his hand.

"Don't make me hurt you to know why you're acting like this."

"Acting like what?! I don't know what you're talking about! If you don't release me I will call on my guard!"

"Still the same old Yuki. Going to call on precious Kaname-sama, the 'pureblood king'." He mocked leaning closer to her face.

"You really might want to start considering how to address your King Kiryuu!" She hissed. "How long until you stop playing hunter and become what a disgraceful Level E you are."

His eyes flickered with hurt though quickly narrowed upon leaning closer to her face threateningly. "Don't forget what I told you that last time we saw each other."

"And what was that?"

"Yuki-sama!" A voice interrupted while a spike of ice split the two apart. Kiryu even stumbled backward, caught off guard to point his weapon to Aidou who was glaring as harshly at him as Kaname had done the previous night. "You dare touch Yuki-sama and point a gun at her!"

"I didn't expect you to care so much Aidou." The blonde glared more before striding closer to the hunter.

"My loyalties lie with the Kuran family, when it comes to protecting my future queen, I will do what is necessary to those who raise a hand."

"Are you really admitting that Aidou? I never thought you would respect her so much."

"Watch it Kiryuu." Aidou huffed, ice sprouting from his hands.

"Enough Aidou!" Yuki ordered, walking closer behind him. "We are unfortunately on a negotiation that will limit his interference, if we want Kaname's plan to be successful we will ignore this impudence."

Kiryuu's eyes widened at her though Aidou looked back at her, seeing the serious meaning behind her words.

"Kaname-sama will be hearing of this." He growled, moving away from Kiryuu to place a hand at the small of her back to push her in the direction of the mansion. With one last look, Yuki turned her head away and lead the way back to the mansion, her hair blowing in the wind.

"You are familiar with Kiryuu?" She asked him, once a good ways away from the hunter.

"I don't appreciate his attitude with how he's treated Kaname-sama."

"He holds resentment to his own kind." She chuckled as she walked upstairs, Aidou still following her. "I can manage my way back to my room Aidou."

"With all due respect Yuki-sama, the harm Kiryuu has given you must be mentioned to Kaname-sama. He wishes to know of any involvement you had with a hunter."

She shrugged away but led the way into the room, leaving the door open for Aidou to find Kaname siting on the lounge looking out the window in thought. His eyes closed a moment before releasing a deep breath.

"If you leave alone, and Aidou returns with you that doesn't mean something good." He deciphered, looking to Aidou. "What is it?"

Aidou looked to Yuki who just turned her head away before walking over to the lounge. Kaname held his arms open in welcoming for her to sit upon his lap in which she complied. Her arms embraced around his neck loosely holding herself there while pressing her forehead to his. His eyes drifted close a moment, signaling her to kiss him in which she complied gently.

"Yuki-sama was threatened by Kiryuu." The sound of cracking was heard behind them, Yuki looked up to see the windows beginning to grow cracks yet Kaname managed to stop from breaking them.

"Threatened?" He repeated softly, his eyes unseen beneath his bangs. He turned his gaze to look at her with a cold deep glare. "In what way did he threaten you?"

"I don't consider it more than an idle threat." She waived, looking away until his hand caught her chin while the other tightly wrapped around her waist.

"How did he threaten a Queen?"

"He held her in a defenseless position with his gun pointed at her head." Aidou answered due to her silence. The cracking continued as Kaname closed his eyes again.

"Really? Well then I suppose it is best that President Cross is here already." He frowned as a knock on the door sounded. Aidou took the liberty in opening it for Kain to bow before them.

"President Cross has returned with the council's message Kaname-sama."

"Send him up Aidou." Kaname ordered, more so as excuse for the blonde to leave.

"Of course." He immediately complied and left the two pureblood siblings. It was silent a moment, when the hand on her waist tightened.

"I don't like it when you are threatened Yuki."

"Neither do I."

"I don't like it when you disobey to answer me."

"It was all an idle threat, that hunter could never do something to hurt us."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that." He growled. "If he does that again there will be payment." She smiled and placed another leg over him to straddle his lap.

"I have no doubt from a pureblood King." She grinned leaning down to place her forehead on his, her long hair creating a veil.

A knock sounded on the door again as the two purebloods looked up to see Aidou open the door and entered followed by Cross, a blank expression on his face.

"Good morning, I hope you slept well." He nodded.

"As we hope you and the Council have been." Kaname replied politely. Cross nodded and looked to the ground, not even trying to look them in the eye or to face them straight forward.

"The Council has agreed to your terms." He murmured softly. A smile grew on Kaname's face as he tilted his head to rest on Yuki's shoulder.

"What excellent news." He smiled in approval, causing Aidou to smile at the satisfaction his king received.

"They also send congratulations to your engagement and wish the both of you luck in your leadership."

"We have no worries in that." Kaname grinned and begrudgingly got up along with Yuki who followed her brother's lead. "I would wish to see Yuki back home and I'll return for us to draw up the treaty."

"Of course." Cross nodded and looked to Yuki, his eyes drifting to sadness. "I hope you have a safe journey and happy life."

"Thank you President Cross-san." She nodded with a kindly smile to him, a part of him for some reason bringing a smile to her face.

"Akatsuki-san has already arranged the car for you Kaname-sama." A maid entered to announce. Kaname grabbed Yuki's coat to assist her in to it before wrapping his quickly around his shoulders.

"By the way Cross-san, I would like to recommend for you to keep Kiryuu in check." Kaname reminded bitterly, gripping Yuki's waist again. "I do not like him approaching my fiancée."

"My apologies, he has talent but lacks maturity."

"I've been well aware, and one day that will lead to his downfall." Kaname replied opening the door for them to all head outside.

"Do you have a set date in mind for a ceremony?" Cross asked. Yuki looked to Kaname who glanced up to the sky, while the wind shook the trees and leaves began to fall around them.

"I would say come snow fall." He murmured quietly before turning to Yuki. "Do you disagree?"

She shook her head and smiled warmly to him as he turned back to face Cross.

"We will send the Council an invitation, though we would hope if you would come personally Cross."

"It would be a privilege to see a Royal wedding." He nodded with a small smile. "Until then."

Kaname nodded before turning away with Yuki in tow to head towards to car, the driver already holding the door open, just as Yuki was about to get in another object almost passed her again, though Kaname was quick to catching it. Between two fingers, a knife stopped perfectly while Kaname shifted a cold glare to the direction it came from.

"I heard you were here Kiryuu. Though you may want to be more careful with these." He remarked in a harsh tone laced with hatred. He glanced at the dagger and in an instant it passed by Kiryuu into the tree behind him, perfectly creating a scratch across his cheek with his blood filling the air. "Oh…and kindly refrain from touching my fiancée."

"She's not yours Kuran!" He shouted back to be met by a strong gust of icy air blown through him no doubt by Kaname's projection.

"Really? That's funny she wears my ring, but more importantly…" Kaname paused and looked down to the hand he still held of Yuki's before bringing it up to his lips to gently kiss. "She was shouting my name last night." Kiryuu's eyes widened while Kaname laughed.

"Shocked? Don't be. Until next time." He called out, pushing Yuki into the car, following after. The car was quick to start driving and from the rear view mirror, Yuki could see Kiryuu dropping to his knees with a look of defeat in his eyes.

"Kaname?" Yuki asked looking up to her fiancée, his gaze resting out the window.

"Yes?" He asked obviously trying to calm his rising temper.

"You so obviously hate that hunter, more than any of the rest. What was the past conflict that happened between you two?" His eyes widened before reflecting into an icy tone due to some recollection. He turned to face her, raising a hand to caress her cheek.

"My dear girl," He sighed and met her gaze. "He was the hunter who shot you."
