Sonic was lying in bed, curled up into a ball. He hasn't eaten much lately, he is too weak and too tired to get up. Sonic sighs.
'Where are they? Wouldn't someone know that I'm gone? Why hasn't anyone come for?' Sonic asks himself.
Sonic sighs.
'Maybe they have forgotten me, after all I have done. No, Tails wouldn't do that. Not after all we have been through, but where is he?' Sonic tells himself.
"You really should eat something Sonic." Eggman tells him.
"Go away." Sonic whines.
He pulls the covers up and over him.
"Poor little hedgehog. No one loves you. No one cares that you have been gone for 34 days." Eggman says.
"Leave me alone doc!" Sonic tells him.
Eggman didn't reply and Sonic sighs.
'Why is he doing this to me?' Sonic asks himself.

Tails and Wave were having breakfast. Wave is having trouble getting her own place. Tails doesn't mind and told her she can stay for as long as she needs to. Truth be told, he enjoys having her living with him. It was nice to have someone there. He hasn't told her yet, a little scared to tell her.
"I'm surprise you want me around Tails." Wave says.
Tails looks at her.
"I mean, after everything I've done to you." Wave adds.
"It's fine Wave. That's the past. You're my best friend and I want to help you." Tails explains, smiling.
Wave smiles.
"You're not to bad kid." Wave says.
Then they heard knocking on the door so Tails runs off to answer it. He opens it to see Amy, Cream, Cheese, Blaze, Silver, Rouge the Bat and Tikal the Echidna.
"Oh hey." Tails greets. "Wave and I are having breakfast." Tails says as they walked in.
Tails closes the door and they head to the kitchen.
"Miss Wave!" Cream shouts.
Wave smiles.
"Morning." Wave greets.
"Still house hunting." Amy says.
She sits at the table with Cream, Cheese, Tikal and Blaze while Tikal, Silver and Rouge stood by them.
"Yeah." Wave replies.
She leans against the kitchen bench.
"There just isn't anything for me." Wave adds.
"I told her she can stay for as long as she wants." Tails says.
"That's nice to you Mr Tails." Cream says.
Amy giggles.
"Chao chao!" Cheese shouts.
"So what are you lot doing?" Wave asks.
"Well, we are all going to the beach in Green Hills Zone and want to know if you two want to join us?" Amy asks.
"Beach, that sounds like fun!" Tails shouts. "Wave?" Tails asks.
Wave smiles.
"Well, it does sound like fun and have nothing else planned. Sure, why not." Wave says.
"Alright! We are having a picnic and everything." Amy says, showing the basket she is carrying.
Rouge has one too.
"It will be so much fun." Cream adds.
"All you two need to bring is yourself and a towel each. We have the rest." Blaze tells them.
"And Wave, you better wear those bikies you brought yesterday." Rouge tells her.
Wave nod.
"Great. Go and get ready. We will see you at the train station." Amy tells them.
They all head off and Wave sighs.
"Great." Wave whispers.
"What?" Tails asks confused.
"The beach, I haven't been to one in years." Wave admits.
Tails looks at her shock.
"I have been too busy, I mean, I spent a couple of seconds at one a few months ago but Jet found me before I could relax." Wave explains.
"Well get ready." Tails tells her.
Wave nods and runs off. Tails chuckles. A beach day with everyone. He can't wait. He rinses everything they used for breakfast and stacks it to the side of the sink. He then walks to the front door and puts his shoes on, then grabs his keys. He then turns around to see Wave who was ready. She's wearing a green top, white board shorts and sandals; she's also carrying two towels. She then throws one at Tails and Tails smiles as he catches it.
"Well, I'm ready." Wave says.
"Cool, let's go." Tails says.
The pair head outside. Tails locks up and smiles.
"Come on!" Tails yells, grabbing Wave's hand.
He starts running, dragging along. Wave had a little trouble keeping up with the fox. Once at the station, they saw the others waiting with their tickets.
"Ready?" Amy asks.
"You bet we are." Tails replies.
"First time I get a real break." Wave admits.
"We are going to have so much fun." Cream says.
"Chao chao." Cheese said, agreeing.
"Come on, we are going to miss our train." Rouge said.
They starts walking and Wave looks at Tails. He still has a tight hold of her hand. Wave smiles.
