Naruto coughed a little and rubbed his throat before smacking his lips, "Shit, dry throat."
*Knock*Knock*
"Naruto? Honey? You okay?" Kushina's voice questioned from the other side of the door after she saw her son half-naked and looking kinda like he did when he went through that entire horror movie marathon when he was ten-years old. She asked again with a hint more motherly concern, "Naruto? Open the door so I can help, please."
Naruto head jerked back and forth as he tried to find something to save himself. Or at least avoid as much incrimination and pain as possible.

HE LEFT THE INGREDIENTS IN THE STREET! WHEN YAMI ATTACKED HIM! HE PAID FOR THAT, DAMMIT!
WHAT CRUEL HELL WAS HE FORCED INTO?! AND WHAT DID HE DO TO DESERVE IT?!

Naruto's face immediately switched with the Scream's as he looked at the stairs and realized that his two biggest problems were currently upstairs taking a bath together. He dashed upstairs and heard voices from the bathroom.
"Princess, please stop washing my back like that. You are reaching my sides and I feel uncomfortable about that."
"But Yami-chan, it's customary for people in Japan to wash each other like this! It's fun to do it together!"
"That may be but I am not familiar with those customs."
"Oh...I forgot you just came here. Sorry Yami-chan but hey!" There was some shuffling in the room, "Welcome to Earth!"
"'Earth'? I was certain it was called E-arth."
"I thought so too but it's actually called Earth."
"Then why is there an A in it?"
Ah. The innocent talk of angels. Little did they know that a red-hot habanero was standing right outside the door and would most likely herald the end of their halcyon days.
And in Layman's terms...they were fucked.
"Naruto-Dono?" Naruto flinched and turned around to see Peke flying out from Lala's room with some towels in his arms and a spare set of clothes for Yami. He eyed the blond suspiciously, "You are not trying to peek into Lala-sama's and Golden Darkness' bath, are you? If you are then I can not condone such behavior fr-"
Naruto jumped up and covered Peke's mouth with his hand. Or his head? Or face? Actually, Peke's little swirly eyes looked at him in confusion as he kept speaking normally, "Naruto-Dono, is something wrong?"
Naruto whispered cautiously, "Peke, if Lala or Yami come out of the bathroom, don't let them go downstairs. Hell, don't let them come out of the room."
"Why in the world-"
"Naruto~."
Naruto and Peke froze before mechanically turning their heads down the stairs towards the door. The sickeningly sweet voice spoke again, "Naruto, I love our house. I love everything about it. The walls. The floor. The door. So please...don't force me to break all of them to get inside and see you...my sweet baby boy."
An almost visible black, menacing miasma started to seep through the doors as Naruto and Peke started to embrace each other and shiver in fear. Peke cowered, "N-Naruto-Dono, w-what is this? What's happening?"
"Fear, Peke. Pure, unadulterated fear." Naruto pointed towards the bathroom, "Don't let them come out until I've figured out a way to talk to her, okay? Go!" Peke flew towards the bathroom as Naruto ran into his room and grabbed the shirt from his PJ's before jumping down the stairs.
"One. Two. Thr-"
Naruto pulled the door open and his mother was standing there with a slightly miffed and suspicious look on her face. He fixed his shirt, "H-hey Mom, I almost thought you weren't gonna make it here in time."
"Hmm." She said with a raised eyebrow, "And is there a reason you weren't wearing a shirt?"
Naruto looked down at his mismatched clothes and smiled sheepishly, "I was feeling lazy."
Kushina just stared at him for a moment before shrugging her shoulders and smiling, "Well I'm happy you got the chance to relax so lazily before I got back." Kushina stepped inside and hugged her son lovingly, "I missed you."
Naruto smiled and hugged her in return, "I missed you too."
Naruto knew this was a sensitive situation, but he couldn't help but be happy that his mother was back home, even if it was just for a day.
She was his only family. Rito and Mikan were like siblings to him and he loved them just as dearly but his mother was his mother, through everything. The person who raised him. Who fed him. Who loved him despite everything he did as a reckless brat.
It was his mother. He couldn't help but be happy to see her again.
They separated and smiled before Naruto asked, "How was the trip?"
"Ughhhhh..." Kushina groaned as she grabbed her back from outside and pulled them in with hunched shoulders. She groggily meandered forward and yawned, "It felt like several continuous weeks of people bitching, whining, throwing up, and basically finding any reason to cry about how they weren't pretty enough. I swear, Ringo has an easier time dealing with those people than I do. I mean it's only been a little over a month but I feel like I haven't come back home in two years."
"I pretty sure you're just exaggerating." Naruto pointed out while he followed his mother into the front room as she sat at the table. Naruto walked over to the fridge and grabbed a can of iced coffee before walking over and placing it in front of her, knowing she loved to drink something like this after a long day of work, "Here."
Kushina tiredly looked up and smiled, "Thank you~." She popped the lid and started drinking while cherishing the refreshing flavor of her drink. She moaned happily before looking up at her son, "So how have you been while I was gone? Anything interesting happen?"
"You mean have I broken anything and gotten in trouble while you were gone?"
"Maybe?"
Naruto smiled and chuckled before his expression fell and his eyes grew more serious. Kushina stopped sipping her drink when she noticed this as Naruto sheepishly scratched the back of his head, "Actually, something big did happen while you were gone."
She lowered her can and asked, "What is it?"
"Well..." Naruto had a small, nervous smile on his face before looking up at her, "I told Rito and Mikan...about me."
The redhead just stared at her son in absolute shock after he had dropped that Bomb. That had been a...sensitive issue they had discussed for many years now coming up with pros and cons. Ultimately, Kushina decided that it was Naruto's choice if he wanted to tell his secret or let it stay with him forever. She blinked and drummed her fingers on the table, "Well...that's...surprising."
"Yeah. I know."
"And how did that happen?"
"A lot of...crazy circumstances."
"I bet." Kushina sighed and rubbed her face before asking, "So...how did it go?"
"Um..." Naruto tilted his head before nodding, "Better than I thought it would."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Well, Mikan slammed me in the face with a frying pan and told me I was an idiot."
Kushina smiled, "Yeah, that's a surprising reaction to that news."
Naruto nodded in agreement before he smiled, "But they said that no matter what I might have been, I was still just Naruto to them." His grin grew even wider, "And that's all that mattered to them."
Kushina watched her son smile and scratch his cheek happily as he remembered how relieving it was to finally tell his friends the truth and to have them accept him for who he is. She smiled, "I knew they would be understanding."
Naruto shrugged his shoulders, "It's still a lot to tell your oldest friends that you're part alien."
"But I just knew they would still love you through it." She reassured him with a kind smile before asking, "So what brought on this sudden bout of truth, huh?"
Naruto's complexion dropped a few shades and his face started to visibly sweat. His eyes slowly panned to the side and he coughed into his fist, "U-um, yeah. About that."
Kushina noticed the look he had when he broke something or did something really, really bad without her knowing. She furrowed her eyes, "What did you do?"
"Well-y'see-"
They heard a swift movement through the air behind them and Naruto and Kushina looked towards the front hallway to see what was there. Their eyes turned stark white when they saw the young, blonde girl with red eyes standing in the hallway with only a towel to cover her modesty. She looked around and spotted the two people staring at her in surprise, Yami's cheeks gaining a bit of health red to them as she tightly gripped the towel around her body. She sensed her chaser coming up from behind and darted down the hallway and out of sight.
"Yami-chan, stop running! I just wanna help wash you! It was a long day today, remember!"
"L-Lala-sama, please stop! Don't go downstairs!"
Lala stepped to the ground floor and called out, "Yami-chan! Yami-chan! Geez, that was mean to just run off like that." She pouted and placed her hands on her hips. She felt some eyes on her and turned around to see Naruto sitting across from a woman she had never met before. Lala beamed a smile and greeted them, "Oh, hiya! You must be Naruto's mama! I've been wanting to meet you all day! I'm Lala, and it's very nice to meet you!"
Lala bowed her head respectfully to the head of the household...while she was still dripping wet and naked form.
Despite her peppy greeting, their eyes were focused solely on her wet, bare naked form. Her hair was matted to her body with drops of bath water running down them. Her perky breasts jiggled and bounced when she popped back up excitedly with a smile on her face. They spotted several droplets of water run down her flat stomach and smooth skin until they passed by her exposed privates and down her long legs. And to top it off when she turned around to address Peke she revealed her long black tail that popped out just above her firm butt, "Peke, why didn't you tell me Naruto's mama was here?"
"I-I-um-I-" Peke bowed regretfully towards the blond, Forgive me, Naruto-Dono! I tried my best to stop them!"
Naruto slowly turned to look towards his mother that still had her blank, shocked look across her face. He inhaled deeply and groaned before smiling with uncertainty.
"So we have a few new guests since you left."
########King########
Rito and Mikan were washing dishes together after they had finished eating their dinner. They were enjoying the quiet before Mikan spoke, "I haven't heard from Naruto all day after he ran out to get groceries. What do you think happened with Auntie Kushina?"
Rito cleaned the plate his sister passed and looked up in thought, "Well I haven't heard him scream or cry from his house, and there hasn't been any furious yelling happening, so maybe he worked everything out."
"Nope." Mikan refuted with a shake of her head, "This is Naruto we're talking about. If anything I'm pretty sure he screwed it up entirely."
Rito stared at his little sister dryly, "I don't think Naruto would appreciate hearing you say you expect him to screw up."
Mikan smiled and shrugged her shoulders, "It's not my fault I know him so well. I can just guess these things now."
"I don't know whether he'll feel touched you know him so well or hurt you know he'll screw up." Rito said jokingly before he started crying his hands, "Hey, has Dad called us recently? Feels like he's been pretty efficient with his work lately."
"Yeah, I haven't heard about him having any problems lately." Mikan took off her apron and started putting it away, "I'll go see him tomorrow and see what's-"
*Knock*Knock*Knock*Knock*
Rito and Mikan walked out of their kitchen and looked over at their door. Rito walked out and over to the front of their house to answer the door.
The door opened and Kushina was standing there with a grumpy Naruto that had his mouth covered with duct tape. She smiled, "Hey Rito! Mikan! How have you guys been?"
Rito and Mikan smiled seeing their family friend again, "Hey Auntie Kushina, we missed you."
Mikan came up besides her brother, "How was the trip?"
"Oh it was fine. A bit long for my taste but you get used to , your mom sends her love and she'll come visit soon, she promises."
"Oh cool." Rito said before he and Mikan leaned to the side and saw Naruto's dejected expression conveyed through his eyes while his mouth was sealed shut. They looked between each other before Rito asked Kushina, "Um...why is Naruto's mouth covered like that?"
"That's a good question. Better question though..." Kushina pulled on her son's ear before looking at his friends, "Why are there naked girls running around in my house?"
Rito looked down at his sister, "He screwed up. You were right."
"Told you."
Naruto's eyes conveyed hurt at their lack of faith in him. He would have yelled and chewed them out...if his mouth wasn't covered with duct tape.
Rito answered, "Well Auntie Kushina, the girl you met is Lala. She's...um..."
"An alien, right?" Kushina answered for them getting nervous look from Rito and Mikan in return. She waved off their concern, "It's all right, Naruto was at least able to tell me that much before he started stuttering and blabbering like an idiot. He also told me you guys know about his secret. I want to thank you both for being able to accept him for that like I always knew you would. But right now I really need to know why there are naked people at my house."
Mikan and Rito looked between each other worriedly. Mikan scratched her cheek, "Well...um...Lala-San is..."
Rito mimicked her worry, "Her and Naruto are..."
Kushina raised an eyebrow, "Are?"
"Engaged(x2)."

...
Kushina turned to her son and they just stared at each other for a moment. Kushina reached up and swiftly pulled the duct tape off his face and left a red mark across his lips.
A small tear formed in his eye and he breathed in deeply before sighing and informing the stinging pain in his face. He nodded, "Thanks Mom."
"I want to ask you a few questions and you're going to tell the truth, okay?"
Naruto nodded in agreement.
"Have you had sex with this girl?"
Naruto shook his head, "No."
"Have you slept with her?"
"She sneaks into my bed at night. After I'm asleep."
"Why do you have to be proposed to this girl?"
"Because her dad's an absolute prick and if I don't he'll blow up the planet."
"And who is the other girl?"
Rito and Milan looked at the blond in shock, "Wait, other girl?"
"What other girl?"
Naruto looked off to the side, "Um-she actually just got here today-"
"I was sent here to assassinate Naruto Uzumaki."
The others jumped back in fright with the sudden appearance of the young blonde assassin. They stumbled back and Yami just kept staring at all of them with her blank stare. She had a hair clip that resembled Peke and she was now wearing the same clothes she was wearing earlier.
Naruto was holding his heart before he yelled at her, "Don't sneak up on us like that dammit! You don't exactly have an obvious presence!"
Yami spoke in her monotone voice, "Of course. I wouldn't not be an assassin if you could tell I was coming to attack you so easily."
Naruto seethed and gripping his fists in anger before he noticed that she her ruined clothes were now somehow fixed. He pointed down at her black garbs, "What happened to your clothes? They were ruined before, weren't they?"
Yami's eyes panned up and they all looked at the spiral-eyed pin in her hair, "Princess has graciously provided me with this substitute until I can find a replacement set of garbs."
Lala popped up out of nowhere and hugged the shorter girl from behind, "It's the least I can do now that Yami-chan is gonna live with us now." She looked up and smiled at Kushina, "We're one big happy family now, New Momma!"
Rito, Mikan, and Kushina all just looked at the pink-haired girl and the blonde assassin under her chin before turning towards Naruto. The whiskered blond chuckled nervously and smiled, "Yeah. One big happy family!"
"You are grounded. Until you die."

Naruto was sitting atop his bed with a stern pout as his ears and tails twitched and rested after the very, very long day they've had. Let's recount.
Got the text his mom would come back early. When on a big shopping trip. Met a super cute blonde girl. Found out she was an intergalactic assassin sent to kill him. Ran for dear life. Met up with Shikamaru and the others. They all started running for their lives too. Met another sleazy suitor. Got covered in frog barf. Got his clothes melted off. Hugged the cute assassin. Saw boobs. Got punched. Redirected two rockets and defeated the sleazy bastard. Also blew up assassin's ship and stranded her here. Invited assassin to live with them. Mom came home. Had some sweet mother-son bonding. Ruined by sudden intervention of Yami and Lala. Saw Lala naked again. And now supposedly grounded for eternity.
A lot of stuff to happen in just one day.
"Naruto? You still awake?"
Naruto sat up when he heard his mom's voice from outside his door, "Yeah. You can come in."
Kushina swung the door open and she walked in, dressed in her usual PJ's and having a towel around her shoulders from drying her hair. She walked in and sat on his bed, "Well, I talked with our weird new guests. They seem rather nice, all things considered." She looked over at him and smiled, "I'll do a little more checking tomorrow but I like them so far."
Naruto smiled and nodded, "Yeah, Lala might not seem like it but she's really sweet and nice." His expression fell and he gulped, "Um...about Gol-Yami...is she sleeping or in a bed or what?"
Kushina's expression twisted uncomfortably, "She's a pretty weird girl. I was checking on Lala and she was sleeping in her bed but the other girl was just standing in the corner, sleeping but standing up. But I felt like she was still awake and knew I was there."
"Oh that's terrifying." Naruto ran his hands over his face and groaned.
Kushina smiled and laughed a little at the distressed look on her son's face. She tilted her head, "Why did you agree to keep those girls here? Did they promise to 'share some time' with you?" Kushina asked suggestively while moving her brow up and down.
Naruto gave his mom a flat stare, "Y'know, not all guys are constantly thinking about that kinda stuff."
Kushina gave him a patronizing stare.
Naruto shrugged, "Okay, but a boy's free to fantasize in his head dammit." Naruto just shook his head, "But no, they didn't offer anything stupid like that. Lala just came here by accident and when she said she needed a place away from all these asshole guys that wanted to marry her, I couldn't leave her. Plus after all this time I know she's nice and kind and really shouldn't be in the hands of those guys out in space. So I want her to stay here and be happy, for however long that can be."
Kushina smiled, "And the other girl?"
Naruto's face turned gloomy and he looked away, "I felt guilty blowing up her home and Lala was begging. You raised me to have a conscience. If anyone is to blame here it's you."
Despite waiting for her to reprimand him for the situation, Naruto felt his mother rest her hand on his head and gently stroke his ears. His eyes fluttered and he leaned into her hand before rest on her shoulder as Kushina continued her pastime of scratching his ears into perfect bliss. Kushina smiled fondly and leaned her head down on her son's before speaking softly, "You share that with your father."
Naruto's eyes opened and he looked up at his mom as she scratched his ears. She never usually talked about his father, only passing mentions or if Naruto ever asked her a serious question, which he never did because he felt like he always made his mom sad if he kept bringing the topic up like that. Kushina continued, "Granted even thought he was a nice guy he still had a few rough parts when I first met him, but not long after that he started turning into a great big teddy bear. He started going out of his way to help people, and it wasn't that hard to sway his decisions if you just sent the right kind of pout in his direction."
Kushina laughed a little before leaning back and looking into her son's bright blue eyes. She smiled, "Your father came from a very bad life. But he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. And you remind me of him more and more every day." She ran a hand through his hair before kissing him on the forehead and standing up off his bed, "Good night Naruto. I'll make sure you wake up on time tomorrow."
Naruto watched Kushina walk to his door and was about to leave. Naruto felt something swell up inside of him after that tender moment. After that moment where his mother laid her heart out for him and told him e was just like his father. He felt...
Guilty.
"Mom..."
Kushina stopped her walk out of the room and looked back at her son as he seemed conflicted for a moment...
"Lala...is Gid Deviluke's daughter. He's the guy who..."
Naruto couldn't find it in himself to finish that sentence as his mother showed no reaction to that news. It was a tense moment before a small smile came on Kushina's face.
She nodded, "I know."
Naruto was shocked by that answer before Kushina walked out of the room and shut the door silently behind her.
What...what was going on in his life that he was more shocked by a calm response than an angry tirade?
Naruto laid in his bed and looked up at his ceiling before slowly closing his eyes.
Tomorrow. Tomorrow would be a brand new day.
And with it...its own problems to face.
