Sequel/Alternate Ending/Chapter 10: Just a Dream?

Link's PoV:

"Link! Wake up!" I open my tired eyes. I turn my head over on my cozy pillow. I see Saria in the doorway of my house. I smile when I see her. I've never been so happy to see my Saria in the doorway. This is letting me know that I'm happy to finally be home. "Guess what today is!"

"I don't know. I'm too tired to remember." I say, tiredly.

"Don't be silly, Link! You know exactly what day it is!"

"Christmas?"

"No. It's your Birthday!"

"Oh. Excuse me, but I'm still half asleep!"

"Yeeeah... Suuure... You're just being funny."

"Alright. You caught me."

"Ha ha." Saria walks into my house. "So, did you have a good sleep?"

"I had the best sleep ever." I say with a smile on my face.

"Good." Saria's kind smile is always nice to see in the morning. I've missed it. When I was with Ben, I mostly woke up in darkness. But, I can't think of that right now. I can't think of that ever. I'm having the perfect Birthday morning right now, and I don't want to spoil it. "After you wash up, come to my house."

"Alright. I'll be down in a few minutes,"

"OK. See you in a few minutes, my love," She gives me a little peck on the lips with her lips. This kiss seems to last a little too long... It almost reminds me of Ben... Wait a minute... When she said "my love", it reminded me of Ben! No... No... Please... Please! Don't let this be just a dream! Please! No!...

I wake up, when Ben separates his lips from mine. "Heheheh... Did you really think you were saved by your pathetic friends?"

"That... That was just a dream?!"

"A very lengthy one, at that. One that I made."

"What?..."

"Yes, Link... I can control your dreams... I can make you dream about the Kokiri Forest whenever I want to..."

"Where am I?..."

"Gone... Remember that portal in the floor up on the moon?"

"Yeah..."

"You went through it..."

"I was saved! This has to be a dream!"

"No, Link. This is reality."

"It was real!"

"Only a dream I caused you to have, my love."

"No..."

"Yes... From now on, you'll be mine... All mine! And, when I say that your pathetic friends will never find you, I mean it!"

"You meant it the last two times, too!"

"There's no way they can get here."

"Just let me go! What do you want with me?! What do you need with me?! Why do you love torturing me so much?! Just, please! I beg you! Please!" I can't help but bawl like a baby.

"It's adorable, you begging me. You look like a little baby begging."

"I'm only eleven! I don't deserve this! What did I do to you?!"

"You disobeyed me."

"When?!" I whine. "Before you kidnapped me, I didn't know who you were!"

"Well, I knew who you were. And I was determined to make you be with me, forever!"

"If you love me so much, you'll let me go! You'll stop hurting me!"

"A person who loves another person doesn't let the one they love go, no matter what."

"You're not a person! You're a monster!"

"Don't you dare backtalk me, boy!" He kicks me in the stomach. I keel over, since I'm sitting. Again, I'm chained to the wall, exactly how I was when Ben had me in Great Bay. Only this time, I'm not gagged or blindfolded with duct tape. I think my stomach's had enough of the beating... "I don't care if your stomach's had enough! If you backtalk me, it'll get kicked or punched!" I hold my stomach in pain and begin to cry. "Welcome to the rest of your life... Ahahahahahaha!..."

A/N: Holy crap, eh? You gotta love alternate endings! ^_^ I hope it's still as good as it was before, because I'm a little rusty with writing Ben Drowned. Well, I hope to have the next chapter up soon! I have some other things I need to work on! Ciao!
