Hours have passed and they were still travelling towards the south. Bella wondered what 'event' in the next two day would cause her to think that it was time to reveal the real her.
As Bella sat in the back seat her gaze travelled to the front where she saw Jasper and Alice's intertwined hands. A pang of jealousy and sadness shot through her, but she suppressed it quickly, fearing that the empath might pick up those emotions. Unfortunately it wasn't quick enough that Jasper briefly glance behind with a frown.
After long hours of travel they finally stopped at a hotel where Bella the human could rest.
All three of them were in a room when suddenly Alice had a vision. The next second she was sketching frantically, looking closely at the drawing it had similarities to a ballet studio. Bella recognised it from one of the photographs present in Charlie and Renee's house. Where the real Isabella Swan took ballet lessons when she was little.
After Alice finished sketching multiple pictures she looked at them with a perplexed expression as if to decipher their meaning. Bella answered her puzzled expression by identifying the sketches and told them about the 'childhood memory' of her taking ballet lessons when she was little. Thinking it was too close for comfort Alice and Jasper went down the lobby to end their stay as soon as possible.
While Alice and Jasper were in the lobby, Bella was in the room organizing her things and waiting for the next step when a moment later her phone rang. Looking at the screen, it was an unknown number. She guessed it was James. Before she took over Isabella Swan's Identity she made sure that her current phone number was written on a note visible to anyone who entered their house. Just in case something like this happened.
"Hello?" she answered timidly.
"Hello Bella," James said tauntingly.
I knew it...
Like a good actress she was she answered back in a fake fear. "James? How did you get this number?"
Ignoring her question he let out a chuckle. "Nice try putting me off track. It was clever splitting up into two groups, one going south and one to north. But as you had guessed ,it didn't work. Now enough chit chat," he said as Renee's voice played in the background.
"Renee?! Where is she? What did you do to her? Don't you dare hurt her !" she asked frantically. Mentally she scoffed, knowing the real Renee was still somewhere in Europe enjoying her holiday with her husband Phil and daughter Isabella.
"Isabella...Isabella...don't worry she is still alive... for now." he taunted.
"Let her go."
"I will If you come and get her. I'm sure you remember the old ballet studio. I will be waiting." He ended the call without waiting for her reply.
Complying with his request Bella slipped passed her vampire watchers at ease and took off in a taxi towards the ballet studio.
Upon arriving she sense no other humans or supernatural nearby apart from one. James. Opening the back door she made her way to the studio. It was dark and only lights that are beaming passed opened windows lit the area. Looking around every wall was covered with large mirrors. Renee's voice rang through the empty studio. Wondering where it came from she followed the voice and stumbled a tv playing an old VCR video of a younger Renee calling for little Bella.
"Funny how technology could fool anyone so easily..." James mocked as he stepped out from the shadows carrying what looked like a hand held camera in his hands. "I borrowed this from your house. Hope you don't mind." he said as stalked her like a predator to a prey.
Before Bella could even get one word out she was grabbed by the throat with one hand and thrown across hitting one of the wooden columns with so much force a cut was formed behind her head.
Walking slowly towards her he spoke. " I figured I could record your pleas for Edward to see after I drain you dry. Consider it as a memory of what a failure of a vampire he is. "
Still following Peter's advice she slowed down her healing to a human's level to making the act believable.
Towering Bella's fallen body, he lift his foot up he brought it down with so much force her leg broke. She bit her lip to stop blood curling scream threatening to escape her throat.
Damm it that hurts ! You are going to pay for this. I will make sure to show you a true picture of hell.
"Scream! I want you to tell Edward how much it hurts. Tell him to - !" He couldn't finish his sentence as his head was relieved from his body.
"Bella are you-" Edward stopped mid sentence as he smelt her divine blood flowing freely. Right there and then time seemed to stop and everything else didn't matter; the plan, James all forgotten and attention is solely focused on the blood on her palms. His topaz eyes faded black filled with need and hunger.
"Ed-Edward?" Bella asked. She knew what will happen next, heck if his cold hungered gaze is anything to go by she is positive that the vampire in front of her is hungry.
Unknown to the vampire, due to the fact she is one of wielders of flames of hell she can't turn If he takes bite out her or any vampire for that matter. The venom would be nullified by the blue flames. But in her current situation she could still suffer from blood loss.
Looking at the red liquid of life Edward's rational thoughts were thrown out the window and now running on instincts telling him to drink from the human before him, to indulge himself with sweet nectar. Kneeling down to her level he brought one of his hands to her throat to stop her movements while the other used to bring her blood covered arm close. Mere centimeters from breaking the skin he was suddenly yanked away and fling across the room ,shattering the mirrored wall.

Due to Edward's divert attention he didn't notice two vampires entered the building. It took less than a few minutes for Alice and Jasper to catch-up with Bella as soon as they found out the room was empty.
The Major let out a loud roar as he saw his mate on the floor and covered with blood, it was the last straw. Breaking the last shackles that tied him down, he destroyed the cage that imprisoned him for more than 100 years. He yanked Jasper and thrown him back making the Major in control of their body.
A malicious smirk made its way to his lips as he looked at the vampire before him, emitting terror and panic. The vampire's eye were wide with fear, he knew this wasn't the Jasper he lived with over the years. The Jasper who was obedient and loyal to Alice, shy and quiet in front of everyone. That Jasper was gone and in front of him was a man who went to hell and back. A killer of hundreds of newborns and humans during vampire wars, his cold onyx eyes radiate power that could bring newborns cowering in fear and the bravest flinch. In front of him was one of the most feared vampire in the southern wars, his name is Major Jasper Whitlock.
A loud screech came from the door alerting them that they are not alone. "Edward !", The pixie shouted and quickly made her way to the fallen vampire checking him for any injuries radiating worry, panic and strong love. The last one confirmed the Majors suspicion, the pixie and mind reader are mates. When he was imprisoned, he watched everything that has been happening around Jasper closely like a hawk. The way they acted together and the emotions feel for one another are indication that they are more than familiar feelings between them.
They both looked into each other eyes for a silent conversation and not a second later they both nod and fled the building leaving the major and his mate.
With both threats gone the major turned to look at his mate. He soften his gaze to not scare his mate while he check her for any more injuries. Seeing her broken leg bleeding freely , he knows he has to set the bone in the right direction before closing the wound up.
His mate's eyes flutter like a delicate butterfly's wings. "Jasper?," she asked barely a whisper but thanks to vampire hearing he heard her perfectly.
His onyx eyes soften. "Hey darlin' im here, don't worry no one's going to hurt you." Major said with his natural southern drawl, smiling softly as he brushed few strands of hair from her face.
Smiling at her honey blonde haired saviour, relief and happiness flooded her as she lose consciousness.
Wasting no time he ripped off parts of his shirt and used it as a tourniquet to prevent any more blood flowing. Straining his hearing he heard footsteps closing into their destination.
As four vampires entered the studio, they gasped at the sight before them. Jasper is tending Bella and ignoring the blood like it was nothing and James' head few feet away from his twitching body.
"Carlisle, Emmett burn the remains." The Major ordered without so much as a glance at the newcomers , his voice was strong and cold like a major he once was.
"Jasper what happen? Where is Edward I thought he was here before us? Where's Alice?" Carlisle asked one question after the another and still not following the Major's orders.
The major didn't stop tending his mate and ignored the questions, his rage is still boiling inside directed at the so called 'golden duo' and the only thing that is calming him is his mate in his arms. Breathing in her fruity, floral scent he listened intently to the calm rhythm of her heart.
"Carlisle..." Rosalie warned, fear and worry evident on her voice. She backed up slowly.
He looked at her in confusion."What is it Rose?" he asked.
"That is not Jasper…." kneeling down and baring her neck to the vampire in charge. "that's the Major." Esme understanding what she meant followed her while Emmet made his way to the beheaded vampire.
Horror and fear etched Carlisle's face. The Major. One of the vampires he feared in par with the Volturi. In fear he quickly obeyed the major's orders and helped Emmet shred James into pieces before making a bonfire out of him, using the ballet's floor board as accelerant. After making sure every piece of his body was on the pyre, both of them followed Rose and Esme action and bared their necks to the vampire radiating power and authority before them.
The first time he had seen Jasper, it was hard to believe he was a war veteran despite the scars that littered his body. When he showed up with Alice one day he was a different vampire, shy , timid much like a puppy. Until today had doubts believing who he say he his. But seeing the vampire in front of him Carlisle relinquish all doubts he had.
Finished wrapping Bella's leg after it has been set back to its original place he gathered her into his arms. He smirked when he saw the vampires Jasper considered a family in submission stance, showing they are no threat to him and they fear him.
"We cannot go back home, the mutts will be suspicious. We will take Bella on one of the cabins near Oregon city and treat her there. Carlisle do you think you can get enough medical supply from the hospital?" he started walking towards the entrance passing the kneeling vampires.
"Yes major," he answered.
Before he exit the building he looked over his shoulders. "Don't bother calling Alice or Edward they are traitors."

Once they reached the wooden cabin. Jasper took Bella straight to his room while Carlisle and Esme made a detour to the hospital to get supplies.
Rose thought of getting some change of clothes for Bella seeing as hers are all bloody and torn. In the end she settled for a white sun dress that was small for her but perfect to Bella, it's also simple and comfortable. She walked across the hall slowly and in caution. Standing in front of Jasper's room she knocked lightly, a low rumbling growl followed. Her fear level is rising.
"Come in Rose," Jasper answered.
Opening the door she saw the feared major looked so affectionate towards a human. There he was sitting beside Bella's sleeping body, holding her hand while caress her cheeks tenderly.
"I brought Bella change of clothes since her current ones are tattered." She said as she placed the clothes on the foot of the bed. With that she left the couple alone and joined her mate downstairs.
