"NATSU!" I called out subconsciously. My feet were running in the direction of the crowd. My heart was pounding against my chest furiously as if it was going to pop out any moment. Behind me I could hear Sting calling out to me. But I didn't turn back. Natsu. It was him! I missed him so much. I pushed my away through the crowd as I shouted "NATSU!" over and over again hoping to get his attention. "oof!" I pushed everyone out of my way, no one was going to stop me from seeing my natsu. I could hear Sting a few meters behind me shouting, "Hey Lucy! Slow down!" But when I reached the center of the crowd. The man in the center of the crowd turned around in my direction…..
Sting (P.O.V)
Lucy suddenly sprinted off in the direction of a huge crowd, leaving me behind. I heard her shouting natsu's name along the way. HUH? NATSU? Then it hit me and I started to chase after her. No way am I letting her meet that bastard again. As she continued to push through the crowd, I was desperately trying to keep up with her. No no no. I will not lose the one thing that mattered most to me. No way will I give her up to some other person, especially not Natsu. I must catch her! I must stop her from choosing him. When I reached the end of the crowd, I finally saw Lucy standing there rooted into the ground. Was she confused? Was she thinking about going back with him? What she is thinking? A volley of questions raced through my mind. Then I saw the man. It wasn't Natsu. It was just a street performer with a salmon that was show casing his fire tricks. I heaved a sigh of relief. At least Natsu wasn't here to take her away from me. Oh no. Since when was I so possessive over her? Oh no this is not good. I turned to face Lucy and I saw her head down with tears threatening to fall. I have to do something I have to….
Lucy (P.O.V)
It wasn't him. It wasn't Natsu. What was I thinking? That he would come and look for me? It has been months and he hasn't appeared! What would make him change his mind now? I heard the crowd erupt into another around of applause and the man started to pack up his props as the crowd dispersed. I was the only one there that stood there dumbfounded. Just then, I felt a familiar strong pair of arms wrap around my waist from behind. Sting lowered down his head and whispered into my ear "Hey blondie, don't go looking for another man when I am right in front of you." Almost all thoughts of Natsu disappeared from my head instantly. What did he say? Is it joke? "haha. Stop joking Sting. I know you are still pissed at Rouge for throwing you out of the house and forcing you come with me" I mustered up a small smile. Bam. I was spun around by Sting and I was facing him. I slammed right into his chest and I trapped in between his arms and his broad chest. Our faces were just inches apart as a blush crept up my cheeks. I could feel his every breath. In. out. In. out. "You thought that I was pissed at him? You are dead right. I was so pissed at him because you gave him a hug before giving me one! And now I am pissed at you for running after another man when I am right beside you. Hey Lucy get this straight only look at me and think of me." Sting said all in one breath. My heart was racing wildly. What what what is this is confession? I was so shocked that I couldn't say anything. I thought that all his previous antics were just jokes and that he was flirting with me. This time I can tell he is serious, he even called me by my name. "but Nat-" I began to say when suddenly Sting lowered his head and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. It was a very quick brush but I felt butterflies in my stomach. "Don't mention his name while I'm here. If not it that will happen again" Sting smirked. This was happening all too quickly for me to process. "ok." Was all I could say. "I know you still can't forget about him but I'll be here for you and remember that I promised I'll help you forget about him?" Sting continued. Oh so he knows that I was awake when he kissed me. "I intend to keep that promise" Sting said giving me a kiss on my forehead before letting me ago. Suddenly, the warmth of his body left me and I was left there wanting more. "Let's continue on your shopping spree Blondie" Sting teased. I was thrown back into reality and got annoyed at him again but then again he was sweet like 5 seconds ago so I decided not to say anything about it. "LETS GO!" I said with my usual bright smile and sprinted to the next shop. Maybe I can really forget about Natsu after all.
HAHAHAHA i am so sorry for trolling you guys but realistically how can natsu reach lucy within a 100 words? it doesn't make sense lol at least it's confirmed that Sting likes her~~~~ hehe Sting is so cute.
