Insane
A/N: Whoo, drama! ;w; I actually wanted to make this chapter pretty dramatic...in a way. Well, as much as I can do drama, anyway. I try, okay? I try. XD And so far, I think it's turned out pretty good. I'll try to be more descriptive if that's needed, but then again, I write these late at night -on a whim- ignore that...part... xD So I try to do my best. Anyway, this is in Hinata's P.O.V, and I'm awesome 'cause I like making insane, murderous cute girls even more insane. -Forgoodreason.-
Enjoy~! *gives you all a Yandere Hinata* 3 Iwasn'tdehydratedwhilewritingthis,ohno... o-o;
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, by Masashi Kishimoto, nor any characters affiliated with the series, manga, or anime. And if I could, I would make Hinata into a Yandere. Because I love Yanderes. Ilovethem. Ilovethemtodeath.
Naruto wasn't anywhere to be seen after the night she had playfully kissed him. Part of Hinata wondered if Naruto was avoiding her, as she hadn't seen him all day. But she was worried sick about him, and could not take her medication, no matter what she tried. Hands shaking against the pill container, she screwed the cap back on, unable to even look at the small pills which had been her salvation from her ever-present madness. Hinata wasn't stark crazy. Though the other prisoners seemed to think differently. Whenever she walked out in the yard in her uniform, they always sneered and snickered behind her back, and joked about her being mental. Hinata snorted at this. They were just as mental as her for landing themselves in prison, if not more. One day, she overheard a few of the women prisoners talking about a blonde guy, and she hid behind a wall, listening to them. "...Don't you think it'd be cute if he screamed? He just seems like a screamer, you know?"
Laughter rose up from the group as Hinata's eyes started to turn blank.
"A screamer? Ha ha! You mean, tie up the guy and like...punish him or something? He's a total wimp! He's not even worth doing anything to. Besides, I've seen way more good looking guys than him. He's a scraggy ragdoll."
Hinata tilted her head very slowly, let go of the wall, and walked towards the group, wishing she brought a needle from her room to jab each and every one of these women in the neck. "Were you talking about Naruto-kun?" A prisoner jumped as the group turned to look at her, some of them wary, while other raised their eyebrows. Why was this chick her? What was Hinata going to do to them? A majority of them snorted. Probably nothing.
"Who the hell is he?"
"Naruto-kun is my boyfriend. Touch him, and you die. Got that?"
Her eyes were completely blank as she smiled crazily and reached her hands up to nearly choke one of the girls by her throat, still smiling the whole time. A prison guard saw her and ran over, dragging Hinata from the group as she laughed madly, her high-pitched voice echoing around the yard as people stopped and stared. Thrown into her cell by the guard, she grumbled and got off her feet, rubbing her arms with her hands. "I wasn't really going to kill them..." she muttered darkly to herself, staring in the mirror of the bathroom as she drew a question mark against the clear surface with water. "Isn't that right...~?" Giggling quietly to herself, Hinata wet her hair and tied it up in a bun, before finding what she could, available to her, as a weapon. All she could find was a razor, but after she sharpened the blade, it would be sharp enough to pierce through flesh. Good enough.
It was late afternoon by the time she made her way back into the yard.
She could see no-one.
Naruto-kun... Where are you, Naruto-kun? If you're hiding, I'm going to find you~!
Giggling, she walked over to where a shed was and heard thumping from the inside. "Huh?"
"Let me out, damnit! L-Let me out! What the hell did I do to you? Shit, I've got no damn water! Argh, great!" Hinata's eyes widened. That was Naruto's voice! It was Naruto! But why was he in there? The notion almost made her giggle. Silly Naruto. It was just like him to lock himself in a shed.
"Naruto-kun...? Why did you lock yourself in there? It's not really nice in there, you know..."
"I didn't lock myself in!" It took Naruto a while to process exactly who was talking to him. Dehydrated, and not having enough to eat could really cause one person's memory to receed and fast. "These girls, they...-"
"...Who were they, Naruto-kun? Who locked you in?" Naruto sighed and slammed his head against the door but instantly regretted doing that – a loud groan of pain could be heard. "Naruto-kun?!"
"Ah, I'm fine! Just...hit my head, ha ha... Ah, I don't know what they looked like, but I heard their footsteps when they put me in here, and it sounded like there was seven of them, I guess? I mean, I guess I don't really know since I'm kind of out of it right now, but...uh...Hinata?" Hinata was only half listening as she turned around and stared at her feet, the tinged sunset causing her face to glow. She narrowed her eyes and turned back to face the door. "Hinata? You...okay?"
"Do you have a baseball bat in there, Naruto?"
"A baseball bat?" Why would they have a baseball bat? And what does she want to use it for? Frowning, he got up and searched for one, finding a baseball bat propped up against one of the far walls. "Uh, I found one...but what do you want to...-"
Hinata didn't need a key to unlock the door. "Chuck the baseball bat out of the window closest to you, Naruto-kun." He gulped. He didn't need to respond. Nodding, Naruto grabbed the baseball bat and hurled it at the window as the glass smashed. It was too high, so he couldn't escape through it, nor climb up to anything either. He heard running footsteps and the familiar clank of metal as Hinata picked up the baseball bat and went back to where the lock was, smashing it with the bat. A clinking was heard as Naruto pushed against the door and it opened, and he ran into Hinata and hugged her tightly, not wanting to let her go. "Shall I make them pay, Naruto-kun? I'll make them pay for what they did to you...how dare they hurt you...I'll smash their skulls in..."
Naruto blanched at the violent words coming from her mouth and let go of her.
"Hin...Hinata...you needn't go that far..."
"Are you sure? But they hurt you, Naruto-kun! I can't just let them get away with it, like nothing happened!"
"No, Hinata...it won't happen again. I promise you. Just...don't hurt them."
"And if it does?"
He sighed. She had completely ignored the last request of what he had said.
"It won't."
"If it does...?"
"Then I give you permission to...I don't know...injure them. A little." He touched the baseball bat and took it from her hand, shaking his head. "But not with this. And I don't want you to kill them."
"But that's no fun..." he heard her mutter, and his face turned white. Was she serious? Was she really serious? It was no fun if she didn't hurt or torture them? He knew she was protective, but... Swallowing, he frowned and grabbed a hold of her arm as she looked at his hand, tilting her head.
"...Hinata."
"Yes, Naruto-kun?" she asked the question so innocently that for a moment he was almost fooled.
"Do you really want to go so far as to kill someone just to...protect me?"
"Of course I do, Naruto-kun! Because I love you!"
"Really?" Swallowing, he started walking away from the shed, still grabbing her wrist tightly as she giggled, not minding being dragged behind him. "Do you love me so much that you'd kill anyone who would hurt me?"
"Yes, Naruto-kun...w-why are you asking me this?"
Concern laced her voice as he sighed and put a hand to his face, shaking his head. "Naruto...kun...?"
"You're insane." Hinata almost felt tears spring to her eyes as she stared at him intently. "And I love you."
