Present day, spirit world.

"It seems that we would have company soon."
"Indeed. It seems high time that god of the river visits us."
"But I wonder why so? He has never, not once, did so for the last few hundred years."
"We shall find out soon enough."
"Do you think it is wise enough to ask for Haruhi-sama? Knowing her, this is a must see."
"Of course! Bring her to me at once! Prepare a throne for her!"

They walked in the darkness, only street lights lighting their way, pit pat, pit pat.

"Chihiro, how do you feel?" Haruhi asked. Looking at her ever so slightly.

"I feel great. Duh. I mean, we just dined in the best sushi place ever." Chihiro replied, smiling, but softly. Haruhi nodded. If I ask her, She'll get suspicious. She thought. At the same time, I won't know if she wants to or not.
"Say Chi," Chihiro made her curious face as she turned to look at her. "Do you miss Haku?" Chihiro's turned poker face momentarily then, it turned soft. "Like, really, really miss him?"
"Probably. Yes. I miss him. Very much so." She said. And it gave Haruhi the cue to ask the next question.
"What if you could be with him for the rest of your life? Will you?" Haruhi gave a little smile. "Yes. I will."
And Haruhi felt like she could burst with excitement and happiness mixed into one. She felt fireworks exploding inside her brain, giving off that beautiful feeling every time it ends.
But before she could even tell her best friend what's next, she collapsed. And immediately, her happiness turned into surprise, anxiety and anxiousness. Her sharpened senses caught Chihiro the split second before she hit the ground, what she saw was blood. Blood on her face. Coming out of her nose, a few lines down her mouth, and out of the corners of her eyes. Haruhi panicked. To the hospital or to home? She thought anxiously. Home!
And with her high and enhanced agility, she carried Chihiro home like an eagle carrying its prey.

She wiped the blood from her face, but it stained the cloth like paint on paper. She did everything quickly; Cleaning her face, cleaning the cloth, tucking her in bed, nursing her.
But time did not. Each second became minutes, minutes that last for an eternity. Haruhi waited, and waited. But oh, she still did not wake up.
Then, she felt a pang. She felt surprise seep into her once more.
'Haruhi?'
'Father?'
'I need you. I need you now.'
'Wa..Why?'
"Nigihayami kohaku nushi has asked to come. He will be visiting.'
'Now?'
'Yes indeed my dear.'
Bad timing.
She thought. Just when things were going smoothly.
'I will come. But I will take long.'
'Just hurry.'
Haruhi looked at her best friend. Deciding on whether to leave her and go to her father, or to stay and tend her. If I stay, father would get mad but if I leave, something worse could happen to her and I'm not there.
She panicked, Haruhi paced around the room, thinking, and thinking. Should she? Or should she not. And alas, at the last minute, an idea came into her mind. Soul separation!
And of course, the words itself said everything.
_

The big red doors opened. The guest stepped into the room. The celestial gods stiffened as he held a cold, hard gaze towards the god king. But it seems that one, is not fazed by it. The god king felt an intense aura coming off of him. Full of hatred, full of anger, maybe a bit of love but not directed at him, he felt an aura so red, so dark, that he himself felt a tad of fear.

And when he opened his mouth to say words, they just barely came out.
"Why have you wished to see us nigihayami kohaku nushi?"
"To request for one thing." He replied nonchalantly. Secretly taking in the fact that the god king feared him.

A celestial god prevented the god king from saying anything in turn.
"You come to us after almost three hundred years just to ask for something in return? Isn't that too absurd Kohaku nushi?" The female celestial god asked. Her stern voice bellowed and echoed throughout the whole golden room.

"So? Would you like me to do something for you all before I voice out my request? Is that it?" He talked back, unfazed by her all, so stern voice. The goddess was quite so taken aback by that.
"Yes, you shall. In fact, I have one perfectly just for you." That came from a voice that would only belong to one woman. The one and only daughter of the great celestial god king, destined to become the next heir, Haruhirui no tsugetsu.
Haku turned to look at her with his sharp, greyish green eyes. "and that is?"
She gave a little smile. "To be with your Chihiro for a whole 's that?"
Just hurry up and say yes so I could go back to tend her! She thought on the inside. Haku almost felt overjoyed. Almost

"No!" The god king bellowed. Great. Must you really father? Haruhi thought.
"Say your request. I'd like to see what it's worth." He said. Haku felt a strand of his sanity snap. So close. He thought. Yet so far.
"I'd like to request to go to the Human world."
"for?"
"To see my Dearest."
"Which is who?" Another strand of his sanity snapped.
"Chihiro Ogino." As He said that, Haruhi had a big, wide, Cheshire like grin on her face while the god king had a big, ferocious, humongous frown, and he. grew. red. Oh no.
"There was a reason why I resurrected that woman in the Human world!" He bellowed, his great, high and mighty voice finally found meaning. Haku and Haruhi both had the same expressions. A hissing, fierce, what?
"It was so that You could stay away from her!" The god king jabbed a finger to Haku's face. But it seems that he was unfazed by it. Only going Poker faced, trying to process that sentence. He what? He felt the strings of his sanity, anger, rage, snap. Strand by strand.
"You what?" Haku hissed, almost shouting. As he did so, Haruhi's voice came on.

"Why Father? WHY?" She roared. And it rang. Yes, it rang, so loud that everyone betted that even the humans from the other side could hear her. It was That loud. The celestial gods even trembled if you squint a bit.
She was shaking, not in fear, but in anger. All she wanted was Happiness for her greatest friend. And Chihiro wanted to be with Haku, it was her greatest desire. And Haruhi was hell-bent on doing so. She knowing that Chihiro was dying crushed her. Now This?
"Why? You of all Ask WHY?" the god king shouted in return. He banged his fists on the arm of the throne. Haruhi's eyes narrowed as she stared at him in hatred, and a bit of curiosity.
"I did this for you! You said you loved him, you were child ranting off about how great you both would look like together. And when she was killed, I thought that it'll be good to resurrect her in the human world, not here! But Oh, No. You changed your mind. You wanted her to be happy. You provided her with everything, you wanted them to be together so much more than you want yourself to be with him! You are such an ungrateful, selfish child! You should be Ashamed of yourself!" Haruhi was in for so much shock. Haku looked at her. Speechless. Same goes to everyone present. All but the god king.
"And you." He continued. "Shall not be given permission to enter the human world."
As he pointed at Haku, he disappeared. The end of discussion.

Haku looked at Haruhi painfully. Then finally, he left the room, his blue flower patterned Haori dragging along behind him. Then she too. Finally joining back to her other quarter of herself in the human world.
And in turn, receiving another shock.
