Hey Bros! Thanks for hanging in for me to update this freaking chapter! I know that you are probably super pissed off that I have millions of partial stories done which is making you think, "WTF?! WHAT DOES HE THINK HE IS DOING?!" I have no idea what I am doing to be truthful, but life has been crazy and I have been doing many other things lately. But I will now be finishing the Zelda fanfic. I hope you enjoy, it is short, but to the point!

(Link POV)

When I awoke I was no place familiar, never had I before been in such a place as the one I now stood in. Water was rushing past my feet, the air humid and moist. Shielding my eyes, I waited for them to adjust to the bright light, shining harshly into my eyes. The potency of the light was overwhelming, until I felt myself falling.

It was that instant I opened my eyes, realizing I was underwater, floating several feet below the water level. Opening my mouth to breath, my felt stupid, obviously one could not breath underwater.

Pulling hard with my hands, I swam to the surface, gazing around the area. I was taken back when several Zora were looking oddly at me, each holding their lances. Coughing up water, I pulled myself over to the ledge where several of them moved out of the way. The air was misty, causing for me to inhale water every so many breaths.

Standing to my feet, a small Zora walked towards me, he tinged a more purple hue than the rest of them. To of the more elite appearing Zora accompanied him, each pointing their razor sharp lances in my face.

"Speak you business here stranger. Tell us why you intrude in the home of Prince Ralis, or shall we have your head instead?"

I couldn't think. I had no idea where I was, except I was where the Zora were. "I am Link. I came from another realm only moments ago. I may be in the need of your Prince, for I am to find the Princesses that will help defeat the darkness from the land. The third one must be here or the Hero's Shade would not have sent me here to speak with Prince Ralis. Now tell me, where can I find Prince-"

They swung their lances towards my face, perhaps my speaking had thrown them off. In truth it threw me off, I never spoke as much as I had moments ago. I only could think that the jarring death and reincarnation would be responsible to put my body and mind on edge more than the usual amount.

"I am Prince Ralis," The smaller purple one spoke. "If you need me, I assume that I can help. Normally I would not aid such a strange man but as you speak of defeating the spreading Darkness, I must help you, for we cannot do this alone. Now, these Princesses, we have none here. I can aid you with men in battle, but the Queen died long ago, leaving me to rule in her stead."

I looked back up at him, lost. Why would the Hero's Shade send me all the way here, only to find that nothing could be gained from this place. Could he have been wrong all along, that this is not the place, showing me that we are doomed? "Have you ever had a Princess?" I heard myself speak to the boy.

"Of course we have had them. Though I can think of none that have existed for sometime. Once my mother, the Queen, took the throne after the disappearance of Ruto we have had no real princess."

"What happened to Ruto?" I asked him, sitting on the dry steps of the sanctuary.

"She went looking for the Hero of Time, or so my mother told me. That she had been planned to marry him but after he saved Hyrule he disappeared. Everyone knew of what he had done, but no one could find him. Ruto only found out that he had gone to Zelda to say his goodbyes, making her realize that he was going away. She went after him, never returning. By this time, my mother was young, but in due time, became the Queen of the Zora. But now I am the Prince of the Zora."

I thought on this for a moment, thinking of the story he had told me. I could sense that somewhere, a flaw existed in all of this. That this was somehow not the reality of the situation; some how Ruto had gone missing, but how? "Where did Ruto supposedly go to?" I asked him.

"The legend that has gone around the Zora was that Ruto went after the Hero of Time to where he had disappeared. Some say that she entered a different dimension and vanishing along with the Hero of Time and some say that she was frozen in Lake Hylia. I find that her being frozen the most logical, since Lake Hylia in the deepest, darkest part, there is a passage that none can enter since it is frozen."

"How can I get there?" I asked Ralis.

"You would need the Zora tunic to hope to even get down that far. Once you reach the place though, you will need a means of opening the frozen part. We have never dare to use our underwater bombs due to the fact that we do not wish to waste them if this only proves to be a myth."

"Where can I get your bombs and a tunic?"

"WE have the bombs, those are not the hard part to obtain. The tunic however, is now with both my mother and father. My father had crafted it before he died. We put in inside a chest out of respect. This would be the only way possible for you to be able to reach such a place. But giving it away like this would cause much unrest among the Zora. I cannot give it to simply any person."

Then I realized what the Hero's Shade spoke to me, I am you. He sent me here for one reason, to find the princess that we need. The other Zelda and the final would be Midna. I knew that this kid wouldn't give me this prized possession of his father away to a stranger. I prayed I did the right thing.

"I am the Hero of Time, Prince Ralis, and I am here to save Ruto. I need the armor of the Zora to reach Ruto. This entire time, I have been trapped in another dimension. Now I have returned to save her. Prince Ralis, please, I need your help to save Ruto, my love."

Prince Ralis went quiet, looking at me with eyes of a dead man, blank and wide. Opening his mouth twice, he canceled the words that were meant to come from his mouth. Clearing his throat he looked at me.

"Men, we need to retrieve the armor of our people, the Hero of Time has returned, and he has come to save Ruto!" Ralis yelled, looking over at his men. "All of you, hurry and bring the chest, we have no time to waste!"

I smiled at my cleverness, or perhaps my foolishness.

Hope you guys enjoyed the story! Helpful critiques are very helpful. Let me know if you like the shorter chapter scheme, I kinda do. Anyhow, thanks if you have stayed with this fic for so long, you are da bomb!
