"Prince Doctunzel are you alright?" Martha asks her voice trembling.

"Doctunzel! Breanna I need your help please come quick ouch!"

"Yes majesty are you alright?" Breanna says as a servant passes by.

"Yes but Doctunzel here he has become so pale and weak is he alright Breanna?"

"He will be Martha I have to get him to his room and into water. I believe in time he will be able to gain his strength back. I must get him to some water now I promise majesty I will watch over him."

"Please help him Breanna, keep him safe for me."

"You have my word Martha."

Snapping her fingers Breanna and the Doctor disappear from Martha's chambers and back to his chambers.

"Prince Doctunzel why did you wait so long to return to the water?"

"Because I needed to be with her." His weak voice answers her.

"I'm here Prince Doctunzel I will help you get into the water again. I have the perfect idea I think your going to like this."

Closing her eyes she turns the Doctor's bed into an unusual small elegant pool bed. "Rest in here Doctunzel you are safe here let the waters revive you. The bed still looks like a royal bed with the deep dark sheets with the soft pillows resting under his head. I have created sort of a bed pool for you if anyone comes to see you there is a place for them to sit beside you."

Leaving him to rest and regain his strength back she whispers as she leaves, "Good night Prince Doctunzel rest well."

"Martha!" The Doctor screams waking up startled as he looks around the room panicked he calls out "Martha where are you?"

"Doctunzel are you alright?" Breanna asks entering his room dressed in a white dress with a soft blue kirtle.

"How much time do I have to save Martha?"

"You have to solve the riddles and discover their meaning only then will you know how much time you have to save her and to prepare the antidote to save her."

"I need to get out of the water I have to go to the library I need to research this I…"

"Do you always talk this much?" Breanna says with a light chuckle. "Doctunzel you need to wait your not strong enough yet and I can bring you the books for your research and a quill and parchment so you can write things down to figure out the riddles."

"Thank you Breanna."

"Here is some parchment Prince Doctunzel and some books for you to look in." Breanna says as books appear on the bed with a small lap table for him to write on along with the parchment and books beside him.

"I'll leave you to work Prince Doctunzel before I go is there anything you need?"

"I am fine for now thank you Later you will help me back to Martha's chambers I need to be with her again."

"I know and I will help you back to her she will like having you by her side again for now rest in the water and try to figure out the riddles if you can." Breanna says teasing.

Searching through some of the books he sees a small piece of parchment with the riddles he was given written on it. "Thank you Breanna." He says smiling.

"The first riddle from the elfin guard what was it they said?" Looking at the paper he says, "There it is don't let the moon come between the earth and the sun what on earth does that mean? Oh these earth phrases I've picked up over the years." The Doctor says with a soft laugh.

"What could this riddle possibly mean?" He says as he ponders the phrase.

"You will figure it out Prince Doctunzel. I know you can I brought you a lunch tray as you have been working for so long."

"What time is it Breanna?"

"It's late afternoon Doctunzel after 2pm."

"I have been here that long? I think I need a brake from working on this my mind needs rest. Please I need to see Martha is she alright?"

"Martha is fine she is still resting in her chambers she will be happy to see you but not yet Doctunzel she is still asleep."

"This riddle I don't understand its meaning its unusual it was don't let the moon come between the earth and sun."

"I can't help you with this Prince Doctunzel this is something you need to figure out on your own. The only thing I can say is that the meaning goes beyond the literal meaning but a metaphor. Sorry this is all I can say Prince Doctunzel."

"I understand Breanna it's alright this is a puzzle only I can figure out on my own."

"I'll leave you to work call if you need anything." Breanna says leaving. "And I promise you will see Martha today."

"Blimey me did you read my mind Breanna?"

"No but I knew what you were thinking."

"I think you have gotten to know me a bit too well Breanna."

"Maybe Prince Doctunzel."

Leaving him to work Breanna goes to check on Martha entering her chambers she hears Martha call to her, "Breanna is that you?"

"Yes Majesty it's me how are you today?"

"Feeling cooped up please help me out of this room I need some air."

"I think I can help you outside to the gardens if you wish to be outside. Since you can't walk very well lean on my shoulder and I'll help you over to one of the benches near one of the fountains in the garden."

"I might be able to walk I don't know I think my left leg up to my knee is stone but I'll give it a try maybe I can drag my other foot."

"Just take it easy Martha I'll help guide you to the bench."

"How is Doctunzel is he alright?"

"Yes he is resting fine in his chambers and working at solving the riddles that he had been given which he has to solve to save you."

"That should keep him occupied giving him something to do otherwise he wouldn't know what to do."

Hobbling next to Breanna Martha tires to walk along the stony path coming to one of the benches near a fountain they sit and talk for a while.

"Are you alright you seamed a bit stronger than before."

"I am better Breanna just tired but being outside away from the castle is making me feel better. Every so often I need out of this castle sometimes it gets very stuffy at times."

"Indeed it does at times Martha. Can I ask you something Martha?"

"Yes you can ask me anything Breanna you need never fear anything from me."

"Why did you step in front of Prince Doctunzel taking the magic upon yourself? I know why you did it obviously but is there a deeper reason why you did what you did?"

"Yes thought I don't think he will ever see it or would ever want to see it. I'm not making much sense am I?" Martha says with a laugh.

"On the contrary Martha you make a great deal of sense you really do more than care for him don't you? You may think it's hidden from him but not from me I can see it its written all over your heart. It echoes to me I can hear it's so obvious you truly care for him very deeply."

"It will be something that he will never see it no mater how much I hope one day that he will finally open his eyes and see it."

"Martha don't give up on him on day he will see it. I've seen the way you look at him so much echoes in your yes when you look at him. Deep, deep down he does feel something to just give him more time."

"I don't want to be without him he is so much a part of my life the two of us traveling together. Seeing new places and the wonders we have seen together it's all so wonderful and exciting I couldn't have a life without him."

"You will have him Martha I promise you will never be without him."

"Thank you Breanna…Ahhh!" Martha screams as her left leg painfully turns to stone crying out as her leg turns gray her cry echoing throughout the gardens.

Alone in his chambers he pauses in his research, "What was that?"

"Martha?" He says closing his eyes he sees her crumbling to the ground in pain as her leg turns to stone. "Martha!" The Doctor screams as a bright light blinds him his vision clearing, "What, what how did I get here?" He says as he sees he is in the gardens. "Martha!" He shouts as he tires to move closer to her watching helplessly as her leg turns to stone.

"Doctunzel." Martha says smiling her voice barely a whisper. "Doctunzel you're here? Breanna says with surprise in her voice.

"I don't know how I got here but help me to the bench and set her beside me if you can Breanna."

"Try to put your arm around my neck Martha take it nice and slow I don't want you to get hurt." With her arm shaking Martha manages to place her arm around Breanna's neck as she helps her to the bench.

"Should I stay near by incase you need me?"

"We will be alright I'll call if we need you."

"As you wish your highness." Breanna says bowing as she leaves.

"Martha I'm here."

"My Doctunzel." Martha says finding a renewed strength in his arms leaning up she kisses him.

"You looked so pale yesterday are you alright? I was so concerned for you I thought you weren't going to wake up."

"Would have woken up just so I could hear the sound of your voice I only need to be in the water to revive me once I dry out. I am working on the riddles to solve them and find their meaning with in the words."

"What are the riddles?"

"The first one was given to me by an elfin guard it was don't let the moon come between the earth and the sun."

"That does sound puzzling Doctunzel moon coming between the earth and the sun it sounds so familiar like an event that happens every few years."

"I will figure it out Martha I enjoy a challenge."

"You've always liked a puzzle if you don't have something to do you wouldn't know what to do." Martha says with a weak laugh.

"Wait I know where I have heard this before Doctunzel it sounds like a solar eclipse."

"Martha your right Oh you are brilliant sometimes I think you are part time lord."

"I'm not but thank you for thinking that I am." Martha says leaning up to kiss him.

"I was wondering have you thought about where you would like to go once we can leave this place."

"I still think somewhere warm on a beach somewhere where we can relax and watch the moon rise over the ocean as it creates a lighted path on the water."

"I know just the place where we can be alone and relax and have a good vacation."

"Your making me wish we were there right now Doctunzel."

"We will be there soon enough I promise Martha."

"We should go back inside you look very pale again and how did you get here?"

"I don't know Martha but I'm glad I did your leg is almost stone now I am so sorry Martha." The Doctor says with his voice filled with regret.

"You have risked your life so many times for me I wanted to keep you safe Doctunzel I couldn't let anything happen to you. We should get back inside you need to be in the water again."

"What, What?" The Doctor says as he sees they are back in his chambers. "How did we get back here?"

"Doesn't matter the important thing is that you are looking better these soft pillows on the large ledge beside you are very nice remind me to thank Breanna for this."

Moving closer the stare at each other for a moment moving over to the ledge closer to Martha he leans up against the pillows at the head of his bed looking at her. "You look so beautiful that soft gray dress and sky blue kirtle looks beautiful on you." He says reaching up for her his hand slightly wet from the water he kisses her softly he whispers in her ear "Martha I need to ask you something?"

"What is it Doctunzel?"

"Martha", the doctor says taking her hand in his, "Will you still travel with me?"

"Yes I will travel with you." Martha says smiling as she kisses him deeply.

"Martha I never wanted this to happen to you I am so sorry. I should have protected you better."

"Doctunzel this was my choice I care too much about you to let you get hurt and I did it because I more than care about you."

"Martha you mean more to me than I can say I know I can't say the right words that often but then again I've never known how to my life has been nothing but pain and…"

Seeing she's fallen asleep in his arms he kisses her fore head "Sleep well beside me Martha."

"Doctunzel?" Martha asks in a sleepy voice as she wakes up to another bight day.

"What five more minutes." The Doctor says sleepily.

"Doctunzel lets go outside for a picnic maybe even leave the castle we need to get out for a while. Doctunzel wake up." Martha says nudging him.

"What? Oh there you are sorry about that half asleep."

"Have you heard anything I've said?"

"Yes, yes you for most part you want to get out of the castle and have a picnic somewhere."

"Good ears Doctunzel."

"How can we I have fins and people are bound to notice."

"I think I can help with that I can cast an illusion spell that will make I seam like you have a sprained ankle so none will know you have fins except us." Breanna says entering the room.

"What do you think Doctunzel?"

"I think we do need to get out for a while go get ready Martha while I work on the riddles."

"All right but you had better be ready when I am Doctunzel."

"I would go never go against your majesty." The Doctor says bowing to her.

"You're wise enough to know better unlike some presuming friends."

"Why are you looking at me Martha I have never gone against your wishes not ever."

"Just saying you've always gone your won way in life."

"Come let's get you into a clean dress and find a nice one for you to wear outside of the castle."

"Help me up my foot is stone now I can't walk well anymore."

Alone in his chambers he looks over the parchment with the riddles on it picking up the quill he writes the meaning that the first riddle means a solar eclipse and that it's a metaphor for something what he doesn't know.

"In a solar eclipse the moon comes between the earth and the sun that has to be some symbolism in that but what?" The doctor says.

"Look beyond the words Prince Doctunzel." He hears Breanna's voice on the wind.

"My life has been nothing but pain and it's kept me in the shadows for so long." He says sighing.

"Wait a minute the metaphor I think I know this I was such a thickly thick head I was over thinking it again. This is a metaphor the earth in away is me the sun is Martha and the moon is my pain. I get it now elfin guard I should let the pains of the pains of my past come between me and Martha."

"Good work Prince Doctunzel excellent you have made great progress in solving the riddles." Breanna says entering his chambers.

"Is Martha ready to go?"

"Yes she is waiting for you outside your door let me help you to her." Breanna says placing his arm around her neck she manages to carry the Doctor down the small gilded stairs,.

"Are you alright Doctunzel?"

"I'm fine I'm glad to be getting out of the castle with Martha I need some fresh air and I need out of these stone walls."

"Come she is waiting for you lean on me and you'll be alright. When someone sees you they will not see your tail they will see legs."

"Breanna will Martha be alright going out?"

"Yes she will be fine watch over her if you need me call for me I will hear you. Martha take hold of his and think of a place outside the castle then you will be transported there."

Closing her eyes they reappear by a small river sitting on a blanket under a tree with a picnic waiting for them. "Doctunzel are you alright?"

"I'm alright Oi you worry about me too much."

"I'm sorry if I get overly concerned about you I just worry a bit more since you have fins instead of feet." Martha says with a sly smile as she moves her free foot towards his fin to tickle it.

"Martha what are you doing? Martha don't even think about it."

"Too late Doctunzel the thought has been thought." Moving her foot she tickles the Doctors fin even more.

"Martha ha ha Martha." The Doctor says laughing hard.

"Oi you're really in trouble now Martha."

"What could you possibly mean?"

Moving closer to Martha he tickles her with his fin, "Oh ok truce Doctunzel truce." Martha says laughing.

"Ah come here Martha." The Doctor says pulling her into his arms. "I am never letting you go."

"I never want you to Doctunzel. You should never be alone again all your life you've been alone wandering for too long. Too much pain has been in your life let me be the light through the shadows of my pain you have always been one of the best things in my life Doctunzel. The day we meet was one of the best days of my life when you took me to see Shakespeare and we stopped the caronites and the places you have taken me. The way you came after me when that couple took me into their car in new new new new new York you wouldn't stop until you found me. Your eyes echoed with something I haven't seen in your eyes since that day."

"Martha I…"

"Doctunzel its getting late maybe we should be getting back to the castle."

"Martha wait…"

"To the castle." Martha says as they are taken back to the castle Martha appearing back into her chambers as he appears back in his.

"You're not getting away that easily Martha not this time." Closing his eyes he again concentrates on her hoping that somehow he will be taken back to her side again. "Take me to her she is the only one who understands me."

Disappearing from his chambers and reappearing outside Martha's chambers doors. Trying desperately he tires to hold himself upright by holding onto a torch holder. "Martha please open the door and let me in."

"Why should I? When it seams perfectly clear that you would rather be on your own by yourself your heart and your ears closed forever that's you."

"No it's not Martha please I can't be alone you are the one I want to have with me in the Tardis I need you."

"I find that unlikely Doctunzel go back to your chambers or you'll dry out."

"I'm not leaving until you open the door."

"Fine stay there but don't expect me to toss a bucket of water on you when you dry out."

"Martha why are we fighting we have nothing to be fighting about."

"You just don't get it do you Prince Doctunzel and you never will."

"Martha we need to talk please open the door."

"You had your chance to talk to me and to listen to me and you couldn't say a thing."

"I've been through so much in my life Martha. I have had so much pain it's a cloud that hides you from me."

"You have been blind for so long and may be you are better off alone!" Martha shouts. "No matter how much time passes you are never going to hear me or see me and when we can leave here I'm going home."
