This is channel 4 with a breaking news story. Our reporter, Rebecca Turnam is there now with the whole story.

"This is Rebecca Turnman reporting live from the Adopt-a-Pet shelter where earlier tonight it somehow caught on fire. Firefighters and the police arrived on the scene to find the building scorched but all of the animal's had been safely evacuated. Nobody was hurt except for a large Boxer hound but other than the weird scars on its face and the burn marks on its body, authorities have said that he would be ok. Upon further inspection, the police found that the animals appeared to have been neglected the proper care and attention they needed. Firefighters have also discovered that the fire started because of some chemicals found in the basement of the shelter. This leads to the assumption that these animals were being used for illegal testing and experimentation. The owner of the shelter, Liam Grant, had this to say as the police took him and his assistant, Julia Barret."

The camera zoomed in on a burnt and angrily screeching man. "YOU"LL NEVER BE CURED NOW, YOU HEAR ME!? WITHOUT THE FORMULA YOU"LL STAY A FREAK FOREVER! AND WHEN I GET OUT I'm GOING TO PEEL BACK YOUR SKULL AND SKIN YOU AND MAKE YOU SUFFER..!"

A police officer slammed the police car door shut. "That's enough out of you!"

"Don't talk to him like that!" Julia snapped, "The man is a genius and you'll all be sorry!"

"The animals will all be transferred over to another animal shelter where they'll receive the proper care and attention they need. Mr. Grant will be taken into custody for questioning and checked into a mental hospital where hopefully he'll get the help he clearly needs. It is unclear whether or not this will be charged as a misdemeanor or a felony, but he and Mrs. Julia might be facing a year in a county jail and a maximum $20,000 fine. This is Rebecca Turnman reporting live from the shelter-back to you, Hal."
