RoS 10 To Protect you Part B
The wind began to whip around Manten, sticks, leaves and chunks of dirt were swirling up into the air and were sucked into Miroku's hand. Miroku looked at the demons with a determination heating his gaze, he was in pain he was scared and confused, but he'd be dammed if he let Sango die.
"An-chan!" Manten called out wide eyed to his brother a taste of fear entering the large yokai's tone.
Hiten was looking on the situation in surprise and fear himself. What was going on? This certainly didn't seem natural!
Manten could feel his feet beginning to slide towards the gaping hole, more and more debris were flinging around him and feeding the vacuous mouth of the black hole. Trees were beginning to be up rooted and fly into the abyss as well.
"Manten!" Hiten cried, Sango seeing her chance shook herself out of her own shock and kicked at Hiten. The older yokai quickly dropped her in the excitement to rush to his brother's aide. His fiery wheels madly spinning in his rush to his younger brother's aide.
Manten was swinging his arms madly in an attempt to grab hold of something as he was dragged closer to the danger, but it was getting a stronger pull on him the closer he was swept toward the monk. "An-ni ja!" Maten screamed in desperation.
Hiten grabbed a hold of his younger brother's hand just as the darkness' tug had fully dislodged Manten from the ground. "I've got you…" he grunted. Straining to keep a hold of the younger demon, the wheels by his feet were spinning madly to try and keep both of them from falling into oblivion.
"Don't let go…." Manten pleaded, small tear drops collected at the corner of his eyes and flew back past him into the darkness.
Miroku strained to keep his hand steady on the two demons before him. Sweat beaded his brow as he winced and forced himself to continue. So this was the something terrible that was to happen if he ever left the grounds, Miroku had no idea how to close the abyss that had opened with in his palm, maybe he never would be able to. Either way, he was ready to die if need be to keep that spark from dying. In all his life he had never seen any humans who were truly alive. Sango was rare and needed to keep going! He struggled to see Sango through the pain, and the typhoon winds blowing things about. Hopefully she already ran… He was deeply displeased to see a feminine form standing in the tree line watching mouth agape.
Sango stood watching her mouth dropping open as the pair of demons were dragged closer and closer to the monk, even their electric attacks were swallowed up into the monk's hand harmlessly disappearing from sight. What was Miroku? He was obviously not a normal pervert…. He had tried to save her, she couldn't leave him in this condition. Her eyes widened further when the pair of struggling monsters were dragged up to Miroku's hand and both screaming and crying faded from sight.
Miroku swallowed when the demons were taken into the darkness, but now he had another problem, the hole was still eating, and still very present on his hand. He wondered if it would eat anything in its path without relenting until it devoured him also…
Sango watched waiting, the monk could stop it right? "Miroku! It's over stop the wind tunnel!"
Miroku cringed hearing her voice, sweat was still flowing from his brow as he turned his eyes toward the girl he was willing to die for… "Run!" He barked out his voice cracking from the strain.
That's when Sango realized, Miroku didn't know how to stop the kazanna….
