The trio walked a few miles, but all they saw was trees and snow. Emma was getting tired so they decide to rest a bit before continuing their journey.

"So now what?" Emma huffs tiredly.

"We keep walking" Killian answered her giving her a smirk and standing up.

"Are we going to walk to Neverland?"

"Yes princess! Now come on" he said extending his arm for her to grab it. Emma slapped it away.

"No Emma!" Smee tells her, giving Killian a disapproving look. Killian shrugs. "We are travelling on the Jolly Roger, once we find the right path."

"What`s the Jolly Roger"

"My ship, now come on!"

"You have a ship?" "Yes" "Where?"

"God you ask so many questions"

Emma crossed her arms in front of her chest "That was rude…"

Trio started walking again.

"So are we going to walk to where the Jolly Roger is?"

"God!" Killian screamed annoyed, and without giving her a response he started to walk quicker, getting ahead of the other two,

Smee rolled his eyes, sometimes his friend really acted like a 5 year old.

"We are taking a bus"

"Oh a bus! That`s nice. Thank you Smee!" Emma smiled, the man smiled back at her. Killian frowned.

Walking through a clearing.

" Now we have a lot of work to do, Emma! Come along, Simba!" Smee calls

Emma follows Simba, he is trying to catch fire flies in his mouth. Emma laughs as Smee jumps and dances around.

"Nova my dear Smee`s on his way!"

"Who's Nova?"

"Oh she is a tender little bear claw"

"Smee!" Killian reprehends worried of the information his friend could give to the princess.

Smee gets lost in his warm memories and keeps talking. "She's a decadent pastry filled with jelly cream and laughter ..."

Killian covers his face with a hand groaning while Emma stares at Smee confused. " Is this a person or a pastrie?"

"She is the Empress' ravishing first cousin." Answers Smee humming.

Emma frowns"But I thought we were going to see the Empress herself. Why are we going to see her cousin? Killian!"

" Ah ... the Lady Nova... The ravishing first cousin of the Empress. We must convince her that you are the Princess before we'll be granted a meeting with the Empress ... your grandmother, I mean." Smee explains, now out of his daydream.

Anya stops dead in her tracks, this is the first she's heard of this.

"We have to prepare you for an audience with her". Explains Killian softly trying to not scare her more than she already is.

After a few painfully quiet second Emma explodes. " What?!"

Killian not paying attention, slams into Emm`s back. She turns to look at him.

"You never said anything to me about having to prove I'm a Princess!" she accuses.

"Swan look…" Killian begins to explain but Emma stops him.

"Show up. Yes. Look nice. Fine. But lie?" She nervously fiddles with her necklace.

"You don't know it's a lie. What if it's true? Ok, so there's one more stop on the road to finding out who you are. I just thought this was something you had to see through to the end no matter what."

Emma sighs "But look at me, Killian! I am not exactly princess material here, Aah." She moves her ragged clothes. But doesnt wait for an answer. She stomps off.

"You are the Princess." Killian shouts at her. He gets annoyed. He never thought they were going to show this information so soon. She is not ready to play her part yet.

"Let me talk to her"

Killian just nods.

Smee founds Emma on a bridge, looking down to the water, a sad look on her face. He goes and stands next to her.

"Tell me, dear, what do you see?"

She looks at her reflection, face smudged and wearing boy's clothes.

Emma sighs "I see a skinny little nobody, with no past and no future."

"Well…" Smee says now looking at her ·I see a engaging and fiery young woman ... who on a number of occasions has shown a regal command equal to any royal in the world. And I have known my share of royalty. You see my dear, I was a member of the court."

"Hmm… I'm not a princess" she looks down at herself. Even if I were no one's ever going to believe it. I'm not exactly..."

Emma searches for the -word as she sits down " ... good enough..." finished sad with herself. I can't go through with this!"

Smee sits down beside her, takes out a clean rag and cleans her face a bit. Now that tears softly ran out her eyes.

"I see a beautiful young and strong woman, capable of doing great thing in her near future". Emma smiles at him. Smee helps her to get up.

Killian then shows up "So, are you ready to become the princess Emma Nolan?"

Emma rolls her eyes, she is still annoyed at Killian for not being honest with her. Smee gives Killian a look.

"What?!"

They ignore him " There's nothing left for you back there my dear. Everything is in Neverland."

" Well, gentlemen, start your teaching."

Smee laughs "Ah! Let us begin!"

They start walking again.

"I remember it well." Smee begins "You were born in a palace by the sea…"

Emma`s eyes widen excitedly "A palace by the sea! Could it be?"

"Yes that's right and you rode horseback when you where only three". .

She frowns "horseback riding me?

And so Smee and Killian start explaining her about who and how she was at her time as a princess. They talk about the members of her family and how she was a "wild child" but behaved every time her father told her to. And how she fought with her brother. She had a bother, Emma couldn't believe that. She found herself wanting to have all that, that they were telling her.

Later they thought her how to move, walk and salute like a real princess. Both men were amazed at how easy she learn and how natural she was at it.

Then from nowhere, Smee produces a huge chart of the family tree. To teach her about her extended family.

"Next, you must memorize the names of all the royalty." He says.

"And here we have your godmother Ruby, your Uncle James, cousin Belle…"

"Oh ok"

"Are you getting it Swan"

Emma looks at him apologetically "No! there are too many"

After a while they take a rest and climb onto a bus. And continue her family tree in there. "And this is Jiminy Cricket, your father`s counselor and friend"

"Oh and I recall he had a dotted dog" she interrupted excitedly.

Killian looks at Smee "I don't believe we told her that…"

They both exchange a baffled glance.

They go off down the road, the lesson continuing. The threesome and Simba approach a ship. The Jolly Roger.

Once on the ship the throw their bags on deck.

After a while Killian who is sneaking around, pulling women's clothes out of a suitcase that clearly isn't theirs! Takes out a large, but pretty dress, he puts it in his backpack and joins Smee and Emma as she admires the ship.

"What a beautiful ship"

"Aye, I won it a few years ago"

"Where`s your crew"

"Ah well, after a few inconvenient, I decided to let them go. I`m not a pirate anymore. Smee and I live here. It`s ah our home, I guess"

"Oh ok"

"Look…Ah I got you a dress"

Killian throws the dress to Emma and she catches it with ease, and holds it up in front of her. She starts to laugh and Killian throws her an annoyed look.

Simba snickers as Emma pokes her head inside the dress.

"What're you looking for?"

Emma examining the dress answers "The Enchanted Forest Circus - I think it's still in here."

Killian`s face goes blank

"Come on," He pushes her downstairs to a cabin " just put it on". He walks away in a huff up the stairs,

"Agh." Smee looks at Killian confused while Emma, inside the cabin holds the dress to her body smiling.
