The time was 8:00am as Owen was dragging a very tired and annoyed Heather, Leshawna, Katie and Sadie out of their rooms from the Cherrygrove City Pokémon Center and into Route 30.
"Owen, Why are you dragging us out to Route 30 at 8:00 in the morning? Our challenge doesn't start until 10." Katie whined.
"And you better have a good reason about this, tubby." Heather threatened.
"Listen up, Ladies! I am now going to teach you how to level up and make our Pokemon stronger." Owen informed which made the 4 ladies perk up.
"Aren't we suppose to like, battle wild Pokemon, or something?" Sadie asked
"Correct! Now watch as I demonstrate!" Owen said as he jumps into the tall grass. Seconds later A ladybug 6 fist-like arms appears.

Pokédex Entry #010 - Caterpie: The Worm Pokémon, Caterpie has a voracious appetite. It can devour leaves bigger than its body right before your eyes. From its antenna, this Pokémon releases A terrifically strong odor.
"I did it, I did it, I did it! I caught my first Pokémon" Katie cheered in celebration.
"Nice job Katie!" Sadie said hugging her b.f.f.f.l (best female friend for life).
"All right, Now that this is done, I suggest we all do some training of our own." Owen said as Team Johto disbanded for A little while.

After their training session, Team Johto regrouped at the Pokémon Center and were enjoying their breakfast. Leshawna was then approached by A common female from her past.
"What do you want, Heather?" Leshawna asked annoyed with Heather's appearance.
"Look Leshawna, I'm asking you to drop everything that we done to one another in the past, and join in an alliance." Heather proposed
"Why would I do that?" Leshawna asked surprised. Surly she thought that she would be the last person Heather would ask an alliance with.
"Listen, Katie and Sadie are obviously going to work together, and Owen is just A swing vote. We both the least experienced with this "Pokémon" thing, but if we would to join together, we could probably make it to the merge, then I'll let you leave the alliance if you want." Heather explained leaving Leshawna shocked and surprised.
"I'll give you my answer later." Leshawna said walking away.

"Attention Team Johto, This is Chef Hatchet speaking! Line up outside of the Pokémon Center for your new Challenge." Chef Hatchet ordered as the 5 ran out of the Pokémon Center and stood in front of Chef.
"Here's you challenge for today. Take route 30 all the way towards Violet City and into the Sprout Tower and defeat the head sage in the tower, and you're done for the day." Chef Hatchet instructed. As soon as they were given their orders, Team Johto took off back into Route 30.
After heading deep into route 30 the 5 were heading towards their destination until they were stopped by A young boy.
"Hey! My name is Joey and since we're all Pokémon Trainers and our eyes met you must accept my challenge to battle." Joey said.
"Stand back and let ol' Leshawna handle this." Leshawna said going into battle

"Well that was an easy win." Leshawna commented on as she rejoined her team and continued up until they with A fork. One path leading into A cave and another leading west.
"Great, What do we do now?" Leshawna asked.
"Owen you, Leshawna, and Heather check out that cave while me and Katie head this way." Sadie suggested as an astonished Owen, Leshawna and Heather openly accepted the decision.

"Katie, what's happening to your Caterpie?!" Sadie asked cuddling her bfffl in shock and a bit of fear. Caterpie's body was engulfed in light and it began to transform into and A cocoon shape as the began to get a bit taller and wider but maintain its green coloring. After the light show ended Katie's Pokèdex began to beep.

Pokèdex Entry #011: Metapod, The Cocoon Pokèmon. The shell covering this Pokémon's body is as hard as an iron slab. Metapod does not move very much. It stays still because it is preparing its soft innards for evolution inside the hard shell.
"What just happened?" Katie asked in shocked looking at her new Pokèmon when just then Chef Hatchet appears.
"It seems that you've made one of your Pokèmon evolved." Chef said
"Evolve?" the two girls asked.
"When certain Pokèmon reach their special circumstances they'll undergo A process called evolution. After their evolve they become even stronger and sometimes change their typing." Chef explained as he continued further. "Pokemon evolve by different methods. Level up, Evolutionary stones, and on race conditions, trading with certain items attached on the Pokèmon. If you need to know anything else, consult your Pokèdex." Chef said as he started to walk away. Soon after Owen, Heather, and Leshawna returned.
"Hey guys what happened at that cave thing?" Sadie asked
"It completely pitch-black in there. So we gave up and came back here." Owen recapped
"Guys look! My Caterpie evolved into A Metapod!" Katie explained as the two bfffls explained the process of evolution.
"All right, let's just get to the stupid tower already." Heather suggested as the 5 continued towards the goal.
-Johto Region - Violet City-
Violet City was the first major city the 5 has visited. With facilities such as the Trainer school, Pokèmon Center, Pokèmart, Violet City's Pokèmon Gym and the Sprout Tower. Upon arriving in town Team Johto decide the smart thing to do was head towards the Pokèmon center first and they realizes Chef Hatchet was inside.
"Chef, what are you doing here?" Heather asks
"Before i forget again, I meant to give you guys these berries. Berries in this world can be given to Pokèmon to cure status effects, restore HP and PP and many other things." Chef Hatchet said.
Leshawna, Katie, Sadie, Owen and Heather received 5 Cheri Berries, 5 Chesto Berries, 5 Pecha Berries, 5 Rawst Berries and 5 Oran Berries.
After performing that task the 5 entered Sprout Tower. The team was making excellent process until they were stopped as A Rattata was blocking their path.
"Ahhh! A rat!" Heather yelled in fear hiding behind the mass structure of Owen.
"Girl down the heck down. Let Ol' Leshawna handle this." Leshawna said.

Pokèdex Entry #019: Rattata, the Mouse Pokèmon, Rattata is cautious in the extreme. Even while its asleep, it constantly listens by moving its ears around. It is not picky about where it lives and it will make its nest anywhere.
"Nice catch Leshawna." Owen said.
"Indeed, A very nice capture." A voice said ahead of the group. As the 5 trainers turn their heads towards the voice to see A bald monk with a purple robe. "Welcome to Sprout Tower, Team Johto. I am Sage Chow, and in this tower all trainers are sages like me and we all mostly likely have the same Pokèmon. Who is willing to step to my challenge?" The sage said.
"I wanna try! I wanna try!" Katie said jumping like A jellybean as the two prepared for battle.

"Excellent work child. Go on, My elder is waiting above." Tai said as Team Johto went higher up the tower until they see the Elder talking to the trainer they meet on their first day in Johto and who also stole Prof. Elm's Pokèmon, Paul.
"The strength your Pokèmon have is amazing, but you must learn to take better care of them. Remember the Pokèmon aren't tools for war." The Elder said but Paul simply scoffs and turns to see an angry Team Johto.
"Well if it isn't Team Loser." Paul said
"Outta of our way jerk. we came to challenge the elder of this tower." Owen shouted
"What do you think I just did? that old fool was just saying something about respecting your Pokèmon and what-not. the only Pokèmon I care about are strong Pokèmon that will further my dream to become champion." Paul said as he used an escape rope and and left the tower.
"That boy needs A serious beat-down for that." Leshawna said. They then approach the Elder.
"Hello Team Johto. I am the elder and owner of this tower, Elder Li, and I request A battle for you to complete this challenge." Elder Li informs.
"Don't worry guys, Let ol' Leshawna handle this.
