I'm finally back, I realized that this story has definitely declined in quality over the last few chapters, so I know that I need to try a little harder. So here it is the latest chapter let's go right now.

"Good job Zero, you want to come back or head onto the next Maverick?" Ciel asked zero over the communicator.

"Send me after the next Maverick" Zero said as he was transmitted to a sewer area. "Toxic Seahorse I imagine, alright commencing mission!" Zero charged forward with determination in his eyes, but also sadness. 'Another fight, Wonder when mine will be over, No! No time to worry I must focus on my mission!' Zero thought to himself. The sadness left his eyes and left only determination, He charged even faster. "Ciel how far from toxic Seahorse am ?!"

"He's right up that vertical shaft"

"You make it sound easy" Zero said as he looked up to see a tower that went up at least 30 stories.

"You got your work cut out for you, don't you Zero, hehe" Ciel chuckled. Zero began his long trek up the tower. After about 20 minutes of slashing and shooting wave upon wave of enemies, he finally reached the top. "Zero maybe you should use a sub tank"

"No, I only have one still full I can't waste it" Zero said as he walked inside the room. There waiting for him was Toxic Seahorse.

"Well well, If it isn't Zero, You here to die to my toxic sting!" Toxic Seahorse said

"What are you suppose to be anyway, a knock off of Sting Chameleon?" Zero Mocked

"Laugh now, when I'm done with you, no one will be able to put you back together again, for what the 5th time now?"

"I know I didn't come here to chat, so I'll do what I came to do" Zero said as he charged.

"Bring it on zero!" Toxic Seahorse jumped up into the air and sprayed down toxic. Zero managed to dash out of the way but his boot was hit and started smoking. Zero pulled out his Z-Buster and started charging it while jumping along the walls. When it was done he jumped right up in front of Toxic Seahorse. Both of them attacked but in the end Toxic Seahorse's head was blown clean off. But Zero's arm was in critical condition.

"Zero are you ok?!" Ciel said over the com.

"My arm is damaged, But other then that I'm ok"

"You should head over to Cerveau's lab for repairs."

"Alright" Zero then left and headed towards the lab for repairs. "Cerveau, I need my arm fixed"

"Ok Zero, Lay down so I can get started" After about 20 or so minutes Zero's repairs were done and he was on his way to the mission room.

"Ciel, I'm ready for another mission"

"You've already completed two missions today, you should rest and regain your energy"

"Fine" Zero said as he walked out. Without a mission Zero didn't know what to do. He went to his quarters only to turn back and head back to the briefing room. "Ciel what's the progress on locating the enemy base?"

"We've already located it"

"Forget the last of the mavericks, send me straight there"

"But Zero, what do we do about the remaining mavericks?"

"They'll come to me once I enter the enemy base, I always end up fighting them twice any way"

"Alright Zero, Be ready to go in ten minutes" Ciel said as Zero walked off. I better bring out the big guns. Zero went to his room and opened up his closest to reveal all his weapons. The Z-Buster, Z-Saber, Triple Rod, Chain Rod, Recoil Rod, Shield Boomerang, and Z-Knuckle.

"I'm coming for you!"

Zero has finally had enough of fighting every Maverick twice. Next time he's heading right for the enemy fortress!
