Chapter 10: Lucy's the Strongest? Leave the Royal Army to Her!

Wealth, fame, power…Gold Roger, the king of the pirates obtained this and everything else this world has to offer. And his dying words drove countless souls to the seas.

"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything I've gathered together in one place! Now you just have to find it!"

These words lured men into the Grand Line in pursuit of dreams greater than they've ever dared to imagine. This is the time known as 'The Great Pirate Era'.

In order to rescue their friends, Luffy, Natsu, Nami, Wendy, Happy, and Carla had entered Edolas, a world running low on magic power. On their search, they've stumbled upon the Fairy Tail Guild, the only magic guild remaining in Edolas. After gaining their magic weapons from Louen's black market, the group was spotted by the Edolas Royal Army. As they try to stay out of sight, they saw some familiar faces appearing in Edolas.

"…Scorpio!" Lucy shouted. Then Scorpio appeared in front of Lucy, much to the shock of Natsu, Happy, Wendy and Carla.

"Freaky!" Scorpio said, turning towards the soldiers. "Sand Buster!" Scorpio fired a blast of sand and dust at the soldiers, sending them flying.

"Heavy Gong!" Chopper punched the soldier that held him holding, sending him to his companions and knocking them out.

Lucy continued to run towards the pink-haired dragon slayer but stopped when he saw a person standing behind, looking exactly like her. "That's me!" she shouted.

"Wow, I knew we look alike but seeing her is freaking me out." Edo-Lucy said, looking at her Earth Land version.

"Is she the Edolas version of me?" Lucy asked, looking at Edolas version.

"Um…Luffy, Nami, what's going on?" Chopper asked, looking at his crewmates confused.

"I wish I know." Nami answered.

"There they are!" A new voice shouted. The group looked at the direction of the voice and saw a new squad of Edolas soldiers surrounding them.

"I'm afraid the introductions have to wait." Carla said.

"If we stay here, we all are going to get caught." Happy said.

"Alright Natsu, do what you do best!" Lucy said to her dragon slayer friend.

"With what exactly?" Natsu asked, folding his arms.

"With your magic, obliviously." Lucy said. "You're a wizard, right?"

"We haven't been able to use our magi since we got here." Natsu said. Then Natsu realized that Lucy still had her magic. "Hold on, how come you can still use yours?!"

"I had no idea!"

"Lucy, you are our only hope!" Happy shouted.

"Give those brutes the what for!" Carla cheered.

"If we get captured, then all of our friends are as good as dead." Wendy said.

"So this means…I'm the strongest one in Fairy Tail." Lucy said boldly.

"Quit fantasizing and take them out!" Natsu shouted.

Lucy took out another one of her keys and shouted, "Open, Gate of the White Ram: Aries!" Then a shy girl with little ram horns on her head appeared.

"Um…hello…" Aries said. "Leave anything to me. I'll do my very best."

"Whoa, what kind of magic is that?!" Edo-Lucy shouted.

"That girl came out of nowhere!" Nami shouted.

"That's so cool!" Luffy shouted with in his eyes.

"Alright Aries, you think you can take these guys?" Lucy asked.

"Well…I…" Aries said. "I'll certainly try! Wool Bomb!" Aries fired a cloud of pink wool of the Edolas soldiers.

"Is that an attack?!" One of the soldiers said.

"It's so comfy!" Another soldier said.

"Oh no, I don't think it's working Lucy." Aries said. "I'm useless after all."

"Oh, it's working alright." Lucy said. "Let them have another volley!"

"Wool Shot!" Aries shouted, firing more small clouds of pink wool at the soldiers. The remaining soldiers who weren't hit by the wool charged towards the celestial spirit. "Wool Wall!" Aries created a wall of pink wool, trapping the soldiers.

"This is our chance to run!" Lucy said.

"Is that to your liking?" Aries asked. "I'll make sure I'll do better next time. Take care of yourself, Lucy." Then Aries disappeared.

"Way to wreck it, Ms. Fluffy!" Happy shouted happily.

"That's one way to take out an army." Natsu said.

"Wow, I'm strong!" Lucy said proudly to herself. "This rocks!"

Edo-Lucy looked back the wool created by Ares and said, "So this is the power of Earth Land magic."

In the forest outside of Louen, the group stopped running after getting a certain amount of distance between them and the Royal Army.

"While we have this moment, we should figure out our next move." Carla said.

"Ok, would you tell us how you were to Edolas in the first place?" Natsu asked the Earth Land Lucy.

"Yeah, we were worried about you because we heard that everyone in the guild was turned into a giant lacrima." Wendy said.

"Horologium and Mystogan rescued me just in the nick of time." Lucy answered.

"You mean the old clock man?" Happy asked, remember the clock spirit.

"And Mystogan was there?" Carla asked surprised. Then Lucy starts to explain how Horologium saved her and how she arrived in Edolas, thanks to Mystogan.

"…Then I start searching for anyone I might know, then I ran into Chopper and eventually all of you." Lucy said, finishing her story.

"I don't understand." Wendy said. "How come Mystogan is the only one who knows so much about Edolas?"

"I would like to know who that guy really is." Natsu said.

"If we're lucky, we may get to ask him." Lucy said. Nami looked at the wizards, thinking if this Mystogan and the man who send her and Luffy to Edolas may have something in common.

"Well I like to know why your magic works in Edolas and ours don't?" Happy asked.

"Well…maybe I'm a legendary beautiful heroine in this world!"

"I don't think so." Natsu said, shutting that thought out of Lucy's mind.

"Can't a girl have a dream? I wish I knew the answer to that question. If Natsu really can't use his power, I don't know how we'll purpose to win."

"So you boneheads still want to take on the kingdom all by yourselves?" Edo-Lucy asked.

"Of course, we do." Natsu said.

"If we don't save our friends, then who will?" Happy said.

"Is that really such a hard thing to believe?" Lucy questioned.

"You'll fight even though you can't use any magic." Edo-Lucy said. "That's suicide."

"Are you deaf?! One of us still has an entire arsenal! That's right everyone! Just sit back while Fairy Tail's strongest member takes care of this problem by herself! Oh yeah, I'm all fired up!"

"We're totally screwed, aren't we?" Natsu said.

"Let's just hope for the best." Carla said.

"Aye!" Happy shouted.

"You got this in the bag, Lucy!" Wendy shouted.

"Don't worry about it." Luffy said with a smile. "They still got us too. We may not use magic like them but we can still fight like them. We are going to get our friends back and we're going to kick the king's ass."

"Yeah!" Chopper shouted as Nami nodded.

Edo-Lucy looked at the wizards and pirates and thought, 'These guys are a bunch of whack jobs. But for some reason, I feel like they might chance this world of the better. I must be going crazy.'
