A/N
I just want to begin this chapter by giving an advance warning about potential spoilers!
If you haven't seen the latest episodes of Teen Wolf, the latest series of Supernatural or Captain America/Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., please don't read on. It won't matter as much in this chapter, but it will in the chapters to come.
Dani
Hermione returned from her brief visit to the school library, with a book firmly against her chest. She'd decided to get ahead of her homework and had needed a book for research purposes. The librarian, Madam Pince, was shooing everyone out of the library, as it was closing time, so Hermione had rushed to check out her book and swiftly returned to the common room before curfew.
She cautiously entered the common room, not wanting to see either Ron or Lavender. To her utter annoyance, they were cuddled up together in the armchair by the fire, acting like a lovey dovey couple. She instead decided to head straight into the girl's bedroom, noticing Dani fast asleep on her potions essay. She almost pitied the girl, but she simply couldn't stand to be around the pair. However, it wasn't much better in the bedroom, but it would do. She escaped into her own world as she poured over her new book.
That was until Lavender entered again, with a sickening smile plastered onto her face. Her best friend, Parvati, squealed excitedly as they instantly looked ready to hear the news. Fay Dunbar and her best friend went over to Lavender's bed, joining Parvati. Hermione glared at them before deciding she'd be better off elsewhere. Her little bubble wouldn't be enough tonight. She grabbed her book and wandered back downstairs to the common room, with thankfully no sight of Ron around.
Hermione noticed Dani was still fast asleep and debated on whether to wake her up or not. After all, it seemed like she could use some help with her essay. She gently nudged Dani, but she remained asleep. As she began nudging, she noticed how cold Dani's hand felt. Concerned, Hermione conjured up a blanket to gently wrap around Dani. As she did so, she noticed a small vial in one of her hands.
"This is odd," observed Hermione as she glanced at the empty contents. She could see a tiny droplet left and decided to smell it, to see if she could deduce anything about it. It certainly wasn't familiar to her, nor could she understand why Dani had it in the first place. She bit her lip, before deciding Dani wouldn't notice if she slipped it into her pocket to research it. What harm could it possibly do to research it?
She tried nudging the girl again, harder this time, but still she didn't stir. Hermione lightly sighed and decided to pour over her book for a little while longer, before turning in for the night. She had continually tried to wake up Dani, but nothing appeared to be working, so she conjured up a pillow and gently moved Dani's head so it rested against the back of the chair. Her expression seemed vacant, but peaceful.
"Goodnight Dani," she whispered as she left the room and headed back upstairs. She was more than grateful that they'd stopped gossiping and had fallen asleep, because she couldn't stand to hear about Lavender and Ron's sickening relationship a second longer.
Taylor
"So?" asked Stiles as he looked at Deaton.
"Whatever was in the vial caused her to become unconscious. Unfortunately, until she wakes up, there isn't much I can do," he answered, looking at Scott, Stiles and Lydia. "I suggest you go and find Derek. I can keep you updated if she does recover."
"No. We can't leave her behind," said Scott.
"Maybe we could leave her with one of your parents?" suggested Lydia. "When she comes back around, she'll be in a familiar environment and she can actually do something. If she stays here, she won't feel comfortable at all."
"Yeah, that's a good idea," agreed Stiles.
"She can stay at mine," said Scott.
"What about her dad?" Deaton asked.
"Her adopted dad left. He had somewhere else to go. But my dad said he'd adopt her," replied Scott. "Technically, she's one of us. Plus, mom is a nurse. She can keep an eye on her."
"Not when she's at work."
"She's unconscious. What can an unconscious person do?" Stiles questioned.
"Not much. But she could wake up when Melissa's at work," Deaton countered.
"My dad will be around when he needs to be. It's not like an FBI agent has much to do here," said Scott.
"I'll check in when I can," said Deaton.
"Good. Well… we'd better get her to mine," said Scott, gently lifting her into his arms.
"Be safe Scott, in Mexico."
"We will."
They all said their goodbyes before leaving the clinic and getting into Stiles' Jeep. He drove to Scott's house, where Scott opened the door. They all filed in, noticing Melissa was home today. He gently laid Taylor down on the sofa before looking at the other three.
"I wish there was something we could do," said Scott.
"Like Deaton said, we need to focus on getting Derek back," said Stiles.
Scott nodded.
Sam
Natasha and Clint shared a weary glance at each other as they took one last look at Sam before leaving the bedroom they'd put her in. They exited the room into a large open spaced room, with a bar at the side.
Tony was drinking a glass of whiskey, leaning against a desk. Steve was sat down, trying not to look too concerned. Bruce was throwing a ball up and down, stretched out on a sofa, trying to evidently calm himself down. Thor was just standing there, observing the view outside from a distance. As soon as Clint and Natasha entered, they all stopped what they were doing and looked at them eagerly, hoping for good news.
"She's unconscious," stated Natasha.
"But how? Surely she would've destroyed any kind of threat?" questioned Steve.
"All we know is that when we found her, we found an empty vial in her hand," answered Clint.
"So it was some kind of potion?" inquired Thor.
"Yes."
"No wonder she didn't kick their ass'," said Tony.
"We need to find a way of waking her up again," said Bruce.
"Until then, we need JARVIS to do hopefully create a reconstruction. Think you can handle that Stark?" asked Natasha.
"Definitely. But it won't tell you what was inside," informed Tony. "If we had a single droplet left, it would be more helpful."
Without another word said, he walked over to Natasha, took the vial out of her outstretched hand and walked out the room, heading towards his underground lair.
"So what do we do?" asked Bruce.
"There's not much else we can do. All we can do is stay low," said Clint.
"We could start sorting out the HYDRA mess," said Steve.
"Fury has someone on that. This is a personal mission we have to do," said Natasha. "For now, we need to wait. That's all we can do."
A silence fell over the room as the impact of her words hit. Natasha joined Steve in a chair nearby, whilst Clint also remained standing, but taking Tony's spot. They all felt useless, but there wasn't anything they could do.
Alex
John barged into the living room, panting slightly, as he glanced over at Sherlock sat at his desk, evidently on his laptop. Sherlock glanced up and over at John at his appearance, before looking back to Alex.
"Is she okay? I came as fast as I could," asked John.
"She's unconscious. I found her in an alleyway, so I assumed she'd been attacked, until I saw no physical markings and an empty vial nearby. It's apparent whatever was inside the vial made her unconscious," deduced Sherlock. "I've tried to find the liquid it could be and I've narrowed it down to a few, but there's not enough evidence to support my deductions."
"So what you're saying is, we have no idea what this is," said John.
"Don't be ridiculous. We have ideas, but we have no concrete evidence or proof. I can't do anything until she wakes up."
"It's frustrating you," noted John.
"Yes! This is Alex! A smart girl. I can't just sit here doing nothing!"
"Sherlock, until she wakes up, there's not much else you can do."
"No, that's not true. I gave the vial to Molly to analyse. I found a drop inside the vial, but it might not be enough. Mycroft is sifting through his CCTV footage of that alleyway on that day. We can find the person responsible, hopefully, and find them."
"Mycroft's agreed to help?"
"Yes. But I have to take our parents out the next time they're in town," answered Sherlock, shaking his head. "They want to go to yet another musical. I'm trying to persuade them out of it."
"What can I do?"
"Keep your phone on. Should Molly or Mycroft get back to me, I'll need to contact you."
"That's it? There's nothing else?"
"Unfortunately, no.
"I can't analyse the body?"
"I've already deduced everything necessary. Go home to Mary and enjoy married life John."
"But-"
"I insist John."
John took one last long look at Sherlock before moving his sight to the unconscious Alex. He shook his head before muttering a goodbye and leaving, hoping Alex would be okay. Sherlock went back to his research, but it frustrated him with how little he could do. He only hoped she'd wake up soon, because he hated having nothing to do.

We finally get to see the characters :D It's the part of the story I'm looking forward to most, because all the characters will interact with each other
