Let me just start off by saying sorry. You have no idea how sorry I am for not updating these last couple of months. I have no excuse. So I hope you can forgive me with this new chapter and the new chapters to come. Enjoy.

Ch. 10
Nina's POV
I woke in the uncomfortable hospital bed. I looked to my left, and Eddie was there sleeping. I looked to my right and there was no one. I wonder where Fabian went.
I brought my hand up to scratch my cheek when I noticed my hand was gray.
"AH!" I screamed.
Eddie woke up and had, what looked like a spazz attack which he called "cat-like reflexes".
"Eddie," I whined nervously "what happened?"
"I think it was the transformation, I mean your birthday is today." He said.
"Happy Birthday to me." I sighed.
"Umm, Ms. Martin the doctor says that you can be discharged today, so are okay to leave to day?" the nurse said looking down at his chart.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I said.
"Okay. Just make sure that you have your ba- AH!" He screamed. "What happened to you?"
I didn't know what to say, I was dumbfounded. I was afraid that if we say the wrong thing that I would have to be put in some sort of lab or something.
"Uh..Halloween. Yeah, it's a Halloween costume." Eddie said. Thank God he said something.
"Um, Halloween isn't for another three months." He said.
"It's never too early to plan." I said in a high squeaky voice. I've never been to good with telling lies.
"Ok… Well, the doctor said you can be discharged today, so I suggest you get cleaned up and out of all that make-up." He said and quickly left probably going to some other patients room.
I went into the bathroom and changed out of that ugly blue and white flower-printed hospital gown that shows your butt in the back (I made sure Eddie didn't see that), into a red t-shirt with faded blue jeans, and navy blue converse. When I was done, Eddie and I finally left the hospital.
