Luna looked around for Diana. She had wondered if the little gray kitten had wondered off to see where Reenie was. She knew Diana would be always Reenie's cat. She had to stop and think, someday Reenie and Diana would be young women and cat who would change the world for the betterment of life on the planet.
Luna started to pad over to the kitchen. The tape machine was finishing up the tape. She was hoping Rio was not going to be playing something that loud.
Luna walked underneath the table with her ears perked up. From time to time, Rio would give Luna a taste of her milk or yogurt with the use of the spoon. She would let the spoon just tilt back just a little as she when she poised it a little above Luna's head. A few drops of sugared milk or sweet yogurt was just a temping treat for little black moon kitty. She would be always in the know before Artemis when it was an early morning breakfast. Rio had a few extra treats as she feed the moon kitties. She knew they would like to have ice in their drinking bowls.
Ami was the next to be getting up for the morning. She heard the faint sounds of the tape player in the front room. She noticed the light in the kitchen. It meant someone else was awake. Rio had the door to the frig opened and she was peering inside to see if the skim milk was still there. She when the rest of the girls to the normal shopping on the weekends. She also helped in unpacking the stuff when the girls came home. It seemed like it was so normal, she wanted to stay like that for the rest of her life.
Ami entered the kitchen and noticed Rio pulling out a slim bottle of milk. Luna was standing at the feeding station. She was wetting for Rio to feed her.
Ami said as she walked over to the sink, "Good morning!"
Rio noticed ami when she walked over to the countered space. Just above the counter space was a row of cabinets. Rio reached over to one of the doors to open it. Glancing over to where Ami was, Rio said, "Yea…it is!"
Luna turned to see ami had pulled out a small bowl and a mug from the cabinet. She said, "Are you going to figure out if we don't need Rio while she was out of town."
Rio smiled as she was walking over to the counter where her cereal was. She would have a protein bar and yoga on the weekends for her breakfast. This time was differed. She needed a little extra power for the long morning ahead. She said, "What a way of putting my useful career to 'a don't' need slot for the day!"
Luna realized she was sounding like Serena as she tried to save face, "I don't mean like that. I mean that you are still useful, but we have so many that could fill in a pinch!" her little cheeks were heating with a slight imbursement. She knew Rio did not mean to have a sore spot with Serena. In fact, Rio did lay down her life many a times when she was in the heat of battle with the others.
"Listen…you little black moggi, I'm not all that effected about going away from town. I know that Galaxia is just waiting for a crack in the wall, yet one day is not going to affect us."
"You are so relaxed at times!" Luna meowed her opinion on Rio'S attitude on her leaving the others behind. Her whiskers twitched a little as she tried to think of Rio's reasoning. She heard the formal cup going into a large plastic canister of cat food. On looking up, Luna said, "What will you uncle say about the past few months."
Rio was quick to the answer, "First…he will flip out. That's him. I'm next to the youngest by a month or two before Uncle's own little girl. Oliva is nearly year and there is a huge gap between me and her."
"What about you and Stephone?" Ami asked. She had a feeling about Rio and her cousin. She was not like Stephone. There was an idea, Rio was the first one and Stephanie came in a little later. Ami was just completing in the know about the others. Most of the scouts did not have any other siblings outside of Serena. Rio was just one of the lucky ones to have a large family to lean on when trouble would come.
"We are just a few months between me and Steph. We are nearly born our six months apart with her birthday being on the sixteenth of June and my birthday is the eighteenth of November."
"And you have any other cousins?" ami asked rather innocently. She walked over to the counter near the sink. She stood near Rio who was now getting her own milk from a small bottle she had used for Luna's little treat.
"Yea…mostly they live in the north. We don't get to see them all that often. I have six cousins in the north and there is Olivia and Steph. I am the only one who is line to the crown. I did have a sister."
Both Luna and Ami looked at each other for a minute. What was Rio speaking of. Ami asked,
"What happened?"
Rio did not want to retell the past when she was not there. She was far too young to know what had happened to her older twin sister, Raven. She was kept away from her sister when Raven had come in contact with a very strong attack of flu. They were both had just trend two when Raven was not feeling all that well. For her own sake, Rio was taken to her Aunt Sophia house in Bristol. She did want to go at first. She wanted to stay. Raven and Rio were very close. Rio sighed and said, "I was a twin."
Ami and Luna looked at the sadden face of someone who knew what a bitter bit life had given out. "What happened to your sibling?" Ami asked with a curious look on her face.
"I was just a baby when it happened…" Rio said, forcing a smile on her face. She tuned to look at Ami, then at Luna. "There was a bad strain of the flu. I was really lucky I didn't get it. Some of my family had gotten and I was forced to live with my aunt. I had fun there. She was really sweet to me. I did miss my mum and da. I want to go back home for the longest time. I spent in the house in which a little girl who dreamed dreans could get lost in. there was a ton of things to do."
Ami smiled a wane grin, "Including read?"
Rio reflected on the bookshelves at her aunt's house, "My family are readers. My Aunt Sophie is no expection!"
"And what about your time?" Luna asked.
"I never went to nursery school until I was at four. By the time I was four, I was a wild thing. I was still tyriung to figure in my mind where did my sister Raven ran off to. I was too young to addent anyting. I really had no closeure until I was a little older."
Ami and luna had to give each other a smile. Rio was still wild at times. She had calmed down some when she had met the others. Ami did not know much rio had to change in order to become a princess. Yet, she was like the other sailors. They were normal and heathy teenagers who loved fast food, gossip and a great deal of goofing off.
"I was eight when it hit me and then I realized I was going to carry the load for the rest of my life!" rio said. She had been fixing herself a bowl of ceral with the noise of the tape stopping. then, a click it was all over. The tape had finished. She said, "Would you like to hear something else Luna…I have got at least thirty or so old time radio shows."
"What a load is that?" ami was straight ot the point with her question. She did not like the idea of carrying a burren with out learning how another person would take it.
"I'm alone…" Rio sighed as she walked over to Ami, bowl in hand. She stared at her friend wgho knew what it was to be alone.
"You are not!" Luna spoke up in her little sparky waty. She knew rio was never alone period. She looked up at the preincess of Acarida. She said with a smile of kindness, "You are never alone. You have your family and your friends."
Rio felt a long pinprick of anger still fresh from her battle from last month. She uttrered sharply, "What about Alex…"
"We will get him back," Ami smiled. She had a feeling Serena was going to heal Alex, Vachon and Nick like she had doen in the past. Ami was going to let Rio in the power of true friendship. She watched as Rio started to sit at the bar before having her breakfast. She said, "You must trust in the power of friendship. Serena will make sure they will be found and healed!"
Rio closed her eyes and smiled, "I hope!"
"Come on Reenie!" a loud whisper could be heard coming from the front room. It sounded like hotura. The two girls became like sisters in the few months that they were together. Hotura and Reenie were not risk takers at the same time. They seemed to grow into slight risk takers once in a while.
Rio trend to make a waving motion at Ami's discretion. Ami and Luna were puzzled at Rio's actions. She was going to get Ami's attention by waving her hand. She mouthed the words, "Look!"
There was in the front room, Reenie and Hotura with a very blurry eyed Chibi-chibi in toe. All three were carefully padding down the hall, trying to not make any noise. Hotura and Reenie were already dressed, while Chibi-chibi was still in her nightie, clutching a pillow under her elbow. The Littlest girl was still rubbing sleep out of her eyes.
Rio ran over to the bar on the other side of the kitchen to place her bowl on the bar. She wanted to be there to give the youngest sailors a surprise. She did not make a noise as she placed the on the table top. She wanted to be a quiet as a mouse as she and Ami waited for the youngest girls.
"Are the others asleep?" Reenie asked in a quiet whisper. She did want Serena to be sore at her as she warned an early morning treat.
"I thought I heard a radio!" Hotura returned her's statement in a same whisper.
While the two were talking, all that Chibi-chibi could do was yawn.
Rio said to Ami in a loud whisper, "What a surprise they are going to have when they round the corner!"
"I am so starved!" Reenie said as she neared the kitchen from the hall. She heard a squeak from the floor as she walked as careful as she could. Her nerves were on the edges with both fear and excitement.
Hotura was ion the same boat. Her heart quietly beating as her mind raced fast. She was not going to let her best friend get the better of her.
Rio stood at the bar with a large grin on her face. She was rather a sly one when it came to pulling a practical joke on another person. She heard the girls coming towards the entrance way to the kitchen. She quickly ducked underneath the counter. She tried to contain herself from the jumping herself too fast and bumping her head.
Reenie was the first to enter the kitchen. She noticed Ami standing there with a very puzzled stare at the floor, like she was looking at something.
"Hi?" Reenie yawned slightly before walking up the bar. Then, she saw a figure quickly leaping into the air with a large grin on its face.
"Morning Reenie!" Rio said before she was greeted with a scream. She was quickly taken aback with surprise.
Hotura heard the scream coming from Reenie. She looked at the scene right in front of her and Chibi-chibi. She blinked hard. Chibi-chibi just stood there, her eyes bugged and her mouth opened. All three were surprised. Rio wanted to laugh for just a minute before she thought otherwise. Reenie caught her breath as she said, "Why did you do that for?"
Rio had a sharp answer for Reenie with a sly grin, "Just seeing that you are awake!"
Placing a hand up to her heart, Reenie snapped back, "I was…"
Hotura added, "She was going to have her breakfast…you're mean!"
Reenie glared at Rio. She knew Rio was just doing a little bit of leg pulling. She wanted to run over to where Rio was standing and smack Rio on at least the knee.
All the while Chibi-chibi just stared in sleepy eyed fashion. She did want have something good to eat, yet she did want to start a fuss.
Serena came running down the hall, her robe flying in a trailing of long skirts. She had a look of sheer panic. She wondered if Reenie was in trouble or junto. She looked at the scene which was still unfolding in the kitchen. Ami and Luna were just standing ion their spots, staring at Rio. Reenie was going to blow up at Rio, but tried to keep it all in. she was going to remain a lady for the rest of the day. Serena was innocent as she asked, "What happened?"
There was complete silence in the room.
Serena felt like she had missed out on a detail when she had asked, "What just happened?"
Hotura who was usually quiet spoke right up, "Rio was hiding from us and nearly scared us to death when she popped out of nowhere.
"Are you for certain that I came from nowhere?" Rio quipped with a smirk.
Reenie did not speak.
Rio turned to see about having her breakfast. She was going to have a good one. She had to be strong for the trip to Pittsburgh.
It was still morning when Rio got the phone call that her Uncle Zig field was coming. She felt like her present was coming a little fast. She was trying to keep herself from crying. There was nothing she could do for the time being, yet she did not to cry in front of anyone. She wanted to get into her room and give herself a good cry.
She had no idea what was going to happen next. A little nervous feeling buzzed was felt inside when she waited as well. She did have a very small book in her hand. It was about the size of the palm of her hand. It was very easily readable as she looked at it. She realized how she had delicate life really was. She wanted to start up somewhere else. The past seemed so different. The time she had spent with the Beatles and the Rolling stones was like that of dream. She had always wondered if she had been in a dream or not for a long time. Her long black dress was not like her at all. She looked too serious for her own good, yet she had to learn some amount of respect of being a queen. One in a while either Reenie or Hotura would peek out the living room window to see what was going on. They were quickly shooed away from the window by one of the others.
Dusty had walked over to where Rio was staying. He was hoping Rio was not in tsars. He tried to put on smile on his face as he noticed Rio standing on the stoop. She noticed him as he walked up the path. He was dressed in a dark grey suit. He knew it was not going to be easy for either Rio or himself as they traveled up to Pittsburgh. He said when he reached up towards the path, "hey, your uncle here yet?"
Rio shook her head. He was early and the funeral was starting at one in the afternoon. There was a long three hour drive up to grave site. She had to be ready for the trip. She said, "Hello…Dusty…Uncle Ziegfeld going to be picking us up in a few minutes. After the funeral we will have lunch in town. Then, we will go home and he will have a meeting with the elders."
"And what about Serena and the girls?" Dusty asked.
"He will meet theme in the late afternoon. He and Aunt Oliva are coming." Rio forced a smile on her face.
"What about Eva?" dusty tried to sound cheerful.
Something doubt the mention of little Eva made riot smile. She had not seen her little sousing in about six or seven months. She had also wondered if Eva was still a baby or was she growing into a on the go toddler. "She's staying with friends of my aunts. She is too small to travel them think…" Rio said as she heard faint fingers trying to get to a doorknob.
She was turned to see the door opening up and a little pair of feet with dirty grey shoes peering out from the crack. Then, the door was beginning to jiggle a little. Rio and Dusty watched as the door was nearly doing a dance. They stood in wonder.
Then, Chibi-chibi could be heard saying, "Dusty's here?"
Serena said, "Yes…he's here."
Then, Chibi-chibi was shooed away from the door. Serena and Rio exchanged smiles and a nod. Then, Rio turned to see a cream coloured car driving up the street. She had been wondering if it was her aunt and uncle coming for her and dusty. She said to dusty, "I hope we are not late."
"No…your uncle wouldn't be late…" Dusty smiled shyly. He remembered how he reacted on his first meeting with Rio's family. There were dozens of meetings before the two had even met themselves. They were both of noble birth. After a rough meeting between the two of them at a formal party, Rio had realized she needed someone who could keep her stable.
"What are they doing?" Serena's voice could be heard from the closed door.
Then, followed by Rei, "OH…hush up!"
Dusty and riot blushed a little as the two giggled. Rio knew Serena and Rei were pressing their luck as well as themselves with the door. Rio wanted to turn to look at the people who were behind the door. The car had stopped in front of the house. Dusty pointed at the car with a surprised look. He said, "What's going on with that?"
"I don't know…just give them a minute. It could be my uncle and aunt," Rio said.
"And what if they aren't?" Dusty said. He tried to remain calm. He noticed Rio's face as she watched a door opened from the passenger's side.
A young and beautiful ebony woman stepped out of the car. Rio was surprised as she realized it was her aunt Oliva. Rio felt every button of her emotions being pushed. She wanted to cry so hard, it hurt. She knew she was still a little girl. She said, "aunt Oliva…is that you?"
Aunt Oliva smiled as she recognized her own niece. It was only six months since Rio and the others had left home to start up a new home in the states. Aunt Oliva said, "Yes…little one…your uncle is here with me…are you ready for the trip. We haven't gotten much time…we should be off!"
Rio turned to go back in the house. She noticed that the door was opened and Serena was standing. She said, "I'll be back about three or so. I hope you can understand…this is not my day…"
Serena could understand what Rio was going through a little bit. She smiled a little as she said, "You go…there is really nothing to worry. We will just wait for your return."
Rio knew she did a little wrong as she teased Reenie. She said, "Tell Reenie, that I'm sorry. I was just having a little fun!"
"That's all right. I'm sure that Reenie will forgive you!" Serena said. The two exchanged their farewells before Rio turned to see Dusty climbing into the car. "How long will you be out?" Serena asked.
"Not long…I think I'll be at home around five…we are going to visit Bobbie's family!' Rio said. She started to walk down the path. She followed the drive way to the standing car. She climbed into car. Quietly the car pulled away.
Rio sat with her hands folded on her lap. She remained quiet as her aunt and uncle talked about the flight from London to Pittsburgh. Dusty watched the world go by from his seat. Rio could hear a newscaster talking about the latest news in the world, yet she could keep her mind focused on the story. She was like all teens; her mind was going at light speed while her body was standing still. She felt the rest of the world wanting to stop at any time. She knew if she could stop, then her life would be pretty dull. She liked dull. She wanted to start learning how to sew because of her aunt Sophie was a great sewer. Then, she loved to write and read. She knew it was going to be a long and hard road. She had to read a great deal in order to be a great writer.
She was half there when her Uncle Zigfield asked, "How did you do in school?"
She jerked to attention when she heard the question, "Uh?"
He raised his view from the rearview mirror as he allseed the same question twice. His blue-green eyes were full of quiet reflection. He returned to the opened road once again. He was acting like a father instead of an uncle in his gentle tone.
"I'm out of school. Why do you ask?" she uttered loudly, blushing hotly. She knew her Uncle Zigfield was always the best that he had to when he was young. He was going to be the driving force in Rio's life. He wanted her to be like her mother in a way. Yet, he did relax ideas of being a good student on her sometimes. He knew Rio could fold under the weight of his iron fist.
"You still want to be that writer you keep on talking about…" he teased. He felt a soft punch from Oliva on his shoulder. He had a great deal of pose and was a great driver even he was being bugged by his wife. He did not miss a beat while he drove.
Rio pursed her lips for just a second before saying, "I have been writing and some reading…outside of that, I'm just taking it easy. My friends and I were going to just take it easy until the fall."
"At least she's reading…" Oliva smiled her warm and pleased smile.
There was a hint of a grin on Zigfield's face. He knew Rio was turning out just fine. He watched for the traffic to change when he got out of town.
When Zigfield's car came up to the grave yard in Pittsburgh, Oliva said to Rio and dusty, "It's going to be a small gathering. Remember, Bobbie was sick for a long time. So, don't feel like you needed to be there for him after the fact you two were ill. It would have hurt him deeply if you came to see him when you were still recovering yourself!"
"Yea…but, I didn't stay sick for a long time," riot said, hoping she was not in the wrong for not visiting Bobbie while staying in Salem.
"Listen, wild child…you were at school and trying to keep your grades. Plus you have a lot on your mind with the wedding!" Zigfield added. All four recalled the past few months. He had the phone call and the letters from riot. He had to let go sometimes for Rio to spread her wings. She was not a normal teen. "I can understand what is driving you. You have a lot on your plate!"
Rio had to keep a quiet tongue. She rolled her eyes at Dusty. Dusty gave Rio a 'who me' look as he pointed at her. She thought, "I have to save the world…you don't the half of it Uncle…"
Oliva and Zigfield exchanged glances as the car remained parked in drive way of the grave site. There was a small piece of paper Oliva was looking at. It was the lot number and section of where the funereal was supposed to be held at. She was asking Zigfield where the lot was. He was glancing around the yard in front of him. He noticed at the far end there was a tent. He started up at the car once at again after he had it in park for a couple of minutes.
The car slowly moved up towards the tent. The clouds started to gather like it was going to rain for one reason or another. Rio studied the stones along the Ilse way.
In a few minutes, the first leg of the trip was over. Uncle Zigfield told the others to stay in the car for just a minute. He wanted to make sure this was the place. He opened the car door and stepped out.
Sasami and Ryoko were sitting on the porch listening to the radio. Somehow a local baseball board cast was tuned in. All the daily chores were done for the rest of the day. Ayeka went to the pool with Mishiho and Washu. Tenchi was weeding on the side of the front yard. Keyone was inside the front room, reading a book. Ryo-oh-Ki was curled up on a sunny spot underneath an opened window. It seemed too peaceful for words. Ryoko had no idea that Sasami like baseball. Sasami sat on the last step while Ryoko took the top step. It seemed like a quiet time between two friends. Keyone heard the phone ring, but did not stop to answer it. She let the machine take it. She was too involved with her book. Tenchi finished with his weeding, went to the front porch. He stood up and stretched as far as he could before walking back to the front porch. He was going to rest for a minute. A plain bottle of ice water sitting on the floor near the front door, Tenchi had made up the ice water the night before. He took it out to melt a little as he worked.
Tenchi asked as he climbed the steps, "What's the score?"
"Pittsburgh three to zip!" Ryoko said. She noticed the marks on Tenchi's hands. "What happened to your hands?"
"I had to pull some roots!" Tenchi said as he reached the top of the case. He walked over to the water bottle. He careful bent down to pick it up. "That's all!"
Belldandy and Skuld were weeding their garden. It was totally different for the youngest goddess to be doing instead for fixing a gear or a bolt operated machine. To be around the green world was a sort of mystery to Skuld. She loved to watch her own sister Bell bring new life into the world with a song or a simple wish of the heart. She was hoped someday she was going to be like Bell. Keiichi had been fixing up an arch for the front walkway. Belldandy had seen a similar arch in a book. He hoped to done before too long. He had fixed cars before, yet he had a little trouble with wood. It seemed simple as he opened pages he had photo copied from a library book. After cutting the wood planks, Keiichi had some help from Skuld on placing the planks on the spot near the path leading up to the sidewalk. It was after she helped Bell with the weeding. It seemed easy at first. He had pounded the main planks into the ground before placing the second plank on top of the first. Skuld did not want to spoil her Saturday morning by helping Keiichi, yet with some gentle presution by Bell, Skuld was right there with nails and blue prints in hand.
Keiichi said after getting the main part done, "It doesn't look too bad?"
Skuld looked at it for a minute. There were no real mistakes in the hammering. Skuld had helped in clamping the planks into place. She had a good eye for keeping things on the level. She cocked her head to one side and said, "Its pretty level…and it looks steady!"
"And else can we do after the fact of taking our time?" Keiichi asked. He had all the pieces of wood and tools soon all over the grass. He had a piece of string around a wooden ruler for a leveler. He saw the angle of the arch as je stopped for just a minute. He asked, "If I get this arch in place, do you want to keep it steady. I don't want to hammer any fingers!" He smiled at Skuld in a goofy grin.
"Yea…" Skuld noted as she stood up. She had been kneeling in the inside of the arch. She prayed for Keiichi's hands to be firm when he used the hammer. There had to be bruised hands if Keiichi's grip was going to bad. Nothing happened to either Keiichi or Skuld. "I just hope that Sis will get to see this after we are done! You have been lucky so far with the hammer!"
Keiichi had the same idea of watching Belldandy as she walked under the arch. It was a special gift for her he wanted to have for her back home. The temple had many arches, but not like the one he had seen at the lawn and hardware shop. He wanted to make an arch that Belldandy would be proud of using.
Skuld turned for a second to see Bell dandy exiting the front door. She was going out for a walk. She said in an excited whisper, "Hey…K…"
Half there, kimchi nearly hammered his fingers as he heard Skuld. He missed his finger for a minute as he yelped, "What?"
"It's sis!" Skuld said as she jerked her head in the discretion of Belldandy.
Keiichi noticed bell dressed in a blue and green matching outfit of shorts and a t-shirt. She could not look even prettier than she did. He blushed as he said, "I hope she comes!"
"What?" Skuld asked, trying to keep calm. She knew Keiichi was keeping the arch a secret. "Are you for real?"
He knew Skuld was trying to be a smartly. She had to keep keiichi working or get Bell dandy not to leave. She knew the arch was supposed to be a surprise for Belldandy. The timing of the surprise was way off. She could watch Keiichi trying to finish out the project as fast as he could.
Keiichi a little annoyed with Skulk's statement, said, "Yes…am I about to finish it out anyways. When she gets here…I hope she likes it!"
"And what if she doesn't?" Skuld asked with a sour look.
There was a feeling he was going to prove Skuld wrong. "No…she can't lie…remember!" he said.
Belldandy noticed the two talking. She walked over to see what the two were doing, "ARE you fixing something?"
Keiichi holding the hammer nearly flung at Skuld. Skuld jumped out of the way as she yelped. She landed very quickly with her mind trying to focus. She caught her breath when she placed a hand to her heart. She said, "What was that for?"
Keiichi gasped, trying to turn his attentions of Skuld, "Sorry. What was I thinking of?" he tried to smile at Skuld.
Trying to stand up Skuld was not happy. She checked herself with her hands to see if there was any sort of bruising. Trying to feel any sort of sympathy towards her own plant, she turned to her sister with puppy eyes. Whining Skuld said, "What if he hurt me?"
"Are you?" Keiichi asked a little shocked.
"No!" Skuld griped. She was hoping for some sort of release from her entrapment. She knew Keiichi was in for it if Belldandy did not like the arch. Yet, she did not want to be in the way of flying tools, hand or otherwise.
Bell dandy noticed the two getting over there with the new forming disagreement. She hoped Skuld was O.K. she noticed the arch which was nearly fished. She asked, "What are you two doing?"
"I wanted to surprise you with this arch!" Keiichi said, placing the hammer on the ground with a fake giggle. He had to figure out on how to make a save with Bell. She was always surprised with delight from the ordinary.
"OH?" she said as she cocked her head to one side. "Are you two making an arch for me…?"
"You mainly," Keiichi smiled. He told how on good it felt to be doing a good deed for Belldandy who was so kind to him. There was many time he had expressed his feelings by showing belldandy by doing things like going out on a date. This time was going to be different. He was going to be making a lasting tribute. He hoped Bell dandy was at least proud of him for at least one achievement.
Belldandy looked at the arch. She could see its inner beauty for all of its worth. She smiled at kimchi's effort. She said, "It's going be great. Maybe next year, there could be a vine or a plant next to it."
Skuld glanced at her sister before going back to her work. She had to smile at herself for just a minute or two. She felt a little better about her work with Keiichi.
Rio did want to be there at the grave site. She did not feel right. She had been very quiet as she tried to realize what real life was like. She had been on her own already four at least a few months. It was coming to a new road ahead. She could see her uncle and aunt talking to a couple who knew Bobbie from years ago before he took off for London. She stood at the gravesite. It was turning into a hot day, people were grateful for a large tent which surrounded the gravesite.
Rio noticed the sky from her dark glasses. She tried to look at the horizon from her view point. She believed her mind was playing tricks on her. She reached over to edge of the glasses to pull from down for just a minute. The sky was just as blue as ever. She wondered if it was going to strong later. She hated storms more than Serena or even Rennie. She had a bad experience with one brutal storm when she was younger. She did want to relive that again.
