Soul's POV

"Well, how 'bout we go back inside, yeah?" I said to Maka, who was still looking out over the water.

"Yeah, alright." She replied, not even looking at me as she walked towards the door that leads us back inside. I followed with my hands in my pockets, because that's how cool I am. I watched her with my red eyes as she reached for the door knob before I lightly grabbed her arm, making her look at me.

"Why are you still wearing those gloves?" I asked, looking down at them.

"Well, because I like them. Got a problem with that?" She asked, pulling her arm out of my grip before opening the door.

I smirked and put my hands back in my pockets. "Nah, it's cool." She let out a small giggle before walking inside, me following and closing the door.

Maka's POV

I walk out towards the deck, Soul following. I waved at the crew who were all there, talking to one another, only to be tackled by a happy and excited Patty. I fell right on my ass as she babbled without stopping. "Maka, sis said that you were running because you were upset, but you ran really, really fast, even faster then a giraffe! It was fricken awesome!" She said before getting off me and jumping up and down. I stood up, smiling.

"Yeah, but I'm alright now." I stated before BlackStar walked over. Great...

"IT IS I, THE GREAT BLACKSTAR!" He yelled, throwing his fist in the air before patting Soul on the back. He smirked before placing his hand on my back and pushing Soul and I together and hugging the both of us. The whole crew gasped. My eyes widened, not from the pain of BlackStar's death hug, but because BlackStar just made Soul and I kiss. 'I-I'm kissing Soul... And he's as shocked as I am... A-And I am so gonna get BlackStar back for this...' I think mentally as I look straight at Soul, who's eyes were also wide with the shock.

"KYA-HA-HA-HA!" BlackStar laughed before letting us go, making us separate. "SOUL AND MAKA SITTING IN A TREE, K-I-S-S-I-N-"

"MAKA CHOP!" I yell, cutting him off as I slam a book in his skull. I glare at his fallen body before looking at Soul, who was blushing. I quickly averted my eyes, feeling my own cheeks heating up. "Well... that was embarrassing..." I mutter before Tsubaki, Liz and Patty walk up to me. They all looked at me with creepy smiles before grabbing my arms and running to the girl's rooms. Tsubaki opened her room and brought all of us inside.

"How was it?" Liz asked, sitting me down on the bed.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I replied, looking down at my feet as my cheeks darkened.

"Yes you do. How did you like kissing Soul?" She asked again, smirking.

"I'm not talking."

"Please Maka?" Tsubaki asked, looking down at me with her kind eyes.

"Nope." I popped the 'p'.

"I'll get Mr. Giraffe." Patty threatened... Or tried to.

"Then get him." I retorted, not looking up. I really didn't want them to see my blush.

"You liked it, didn't you?" Liz said, sitting beside me and putting her face close to mine, smirking at the red I had on my cheeks. My eyes went wide as I backed up.

"I'm not talking."

"Please?"

"No."

"Pretty please?"

"Let me think... No."

"GIRAFFES!" Patty exclaimed. Tsubaki looked at her and smiled.

"Please Maka, can you please tell us?" Liz tried again, hugging me.

"Yeah, please?" Tsubaki asked, before Patty tackled all of us on the bed so that Liz was lying down beside me, Tsubaki was lying over Liz and I, and Patty was lying down on Tsubaki. We all burst into giggles.

"Hey girls?" Kid said, opening the door, showing BlackStar and Soul. Kid took one look at us before falling on the floor, crying. "You're not symmetrical at all! Your positions are unbalanced!"

Soul and BlackStar looked at us, curious before falling backwards with nosebleeds. We all burst out laughing again.

Sometimes, it's awesome to be a girl.

Plus, at least for the moment, they stopped questioning me about the accidental kiss.
