Chapter 10: Caution and Preparation + Omake

Finally arriving in Millefiore, Reborn and the guardians headed straight for the castle. Once at the gate they met with one of the guards.

"Please state your name, kingdom you come from, and your business here." The guard requested

"Name's Reborn, I'm from the Cielo Kingdom. We're here to ask the King if he can help us find someone." Reborn answered

"Understood, I'll notify the King of your arrival." The guard said and left for a few minutes before coming back "You can park your carriage here while you talk with him. King Byakuran is on the top of the main stairs through the two big doors."

They did what they were told and entered to castle. The group followed the guard's instructions and climbed the stairs to the top, where they entered the two big doors to the room. The room was very much empty. The only things in there were a large desk, a large throne, and a red carpet that lead the desk. Behind the desk, sitting on the throne was a young white haired man with purple triangles under his right cheek.

"Ciao, Byakuran" Reborn said

Byakuran smiled "Why hello there Reborn and Reborn's guests. To what do I owe this visit to? I don't remember creating any trouble for the Cielo Kingdom."

"No, you didn't. We've come here looking for someone and were wondering if you've seen him." Reborn said

"Oh I see, but I'm sorry to say that I can't help." Byakuran said "I've been here in my castle the whole time, so even if the person you're trying to find is in my Kingdom. I doubt I've seen him, but if you'd like I can ask my guardians. They do patrols around the kingdom."

"Alright, we're looking for a young teenage male with spiky brown hair and big brown eyes. He's also a little small for his age and looks like a girl more than a boy." Reborn explained "Can you pass that onto your guardians?"

Byakuran nodded "Don't worry, Reborn, I will, and if they did see someone like that I'll have you informed immediately, but for the meantime why don't you and your friends rest. It's already night" Byakuran said "I can offer you our guest house."

"Thanks, but we'll have to decline your offer. We can stay at one of the inns here." Reborn said and walked out of the room with Tsuna's guardians behind.

After leaving the room, Gokudera was the first to speak "Do you not trust him, Reborn-san?"

"Not in the slightest" Reborn said "Remember, he's the King of this Kingdom and he is neither ally nor enemy. We have no indication of whether he will betray us or not. I'm not going to take that chance. The last thing we need is some type of ambush."

"Kufufufu a little paranoid, aren't we?" Mukuro said

"Maybe, but remember this, I'm the one looking out for your sorry ass, Mukuro" Reborn stated

"Fair point" Mukuro said, ending their conversation as they made their way to their carriage.

After getting into their carriage, they rode through the kingdom until they came across a suitable inn. Finally finding one, Reborn paid for *6 rooms for the night.

Once they were in their assigned room, everyone immediately fell asleep. Well, everyone, except Reborn.

Reborn stood up for a couple more minutes, before preparing himself to go to sleep, but before he could he heard a familiar song.

Midori tanabiku namimori no~

Dai naku shou naku nami ga ii~

Reborn looked outside his window and saw a yellow puffy bird flying in a circle. Once it noticed Reborn, the bird flew over to him.

"Reborn! Reborn! Package! Package!" The bird chirped and like the bird said there was a small package wrapped around its feet.

"Thanks, Hibird" Reborn said and took the package from its feet.

Hibird gave another chirp and then flew out the window.

Seeing that Hibird was gone, Reborn turned his attention to the small package. He opened it up and it was a tape recorder.

'Looks like Hibari got some evidence.' Reborn thought and pressed play. Reborn smirked at what he heard 'He really did get evidence. You can clearly hear that it's Maria's voice ordering for assassins to kill Tsuna. One thing down, now we just need to find Tsuna and take him home.'

Reborn put the tape away into a safe place and went to sleep.

~Morning in Vongola~

G was shocked. No, actually more than shocked, it was a mixture between surprised, shocked, and in disbelief.

It all started when he woke up and then went to wake Giotto up and get him to do his paperwork.

When he opened his room, Giotto was gone, but this wasn't the surprising part. Giotto sometimes did this in order to get away from his paperwork, but in the end G always found him. Seeing that his boss wasn't in his room, G groaned in annoyance for a moment and then left to check the spots that Giotto usually hid to get away from his duties as the king.

He first checked the bathroom, but he wasn't there.

G then checked the dining room, but yet again he wasn't there.

Seeing that those spots weren't taken, G to the final spot Giotto usually hid. The garden.

The garden was filled with many big bushes and tall trees, so Giotto would be able to hide there easily, but not from G. For some reason G was able to find Giotto even if he was in the garden. It was just a game of hide-and-seek to him.

Now arriving at the garden, G started his search. He checked in the trees, behind the trees, and around the bushes and to his surprise Giotto was nowhere to be seen.

'God damn it... Where is he? I checked every place he likes to hide, so where could he be?' G thought and stared at the castle. He continued to think about where Giotto was until he saw a gleam of gold on one of the windows of the castle. Quickly figuring out what floor it was on and where the room was, G ran back into the castle. He went to the floor and walked to one of the door that he thought was where the gleam came from.

He opened it to see... Giotto actually doing his work!

It was unbelievable! Usually he would whine about the paperwork and hide, but not today. Giotto actually was doing it and was half way done through the pile! What surprised G the most was by the fact that Giotto was also reading through the paperwork thoroughly, making sure everything was what he thought was okay.

'Maybe, I should start making deals with him about being around Tsuna...' G thought, but then mentally smacked himself 'What the hell am I thinking? Tsuna isn't a bargaining object!' G sighed and checked the time on his watch '9:32, breakfast is about to be served. Better tell him.' "Hey, Giotto."

"Yes, G? Is there something you need?" Giotto said as he continued to look through the paperwork.

"It's about to be time for breakfast. Why don't you take a short break? You're half way through it anyway." G said

"It's alright I ate breakfast before I started to work, so I'm not really hungry." Giotto said "But please tell everyone I'm sorry for not being there."

"Alright, but before I leave, can I ask when you woke up?"

"7 o' clock"

"And this is for you and Tsuna's little date?"

"Yes"

"Alright, see ya later" G said and left the room to the dining room.

Once in the dining room, G walked in and sat next to Asari and Tsuna, were the only ones waiting in the room.

"Where is everyone?" G asked

"Oh, Lampo didn't want to wait so he took some food and went somewhere else, Knuckle is checking his medical supplies, Daemon and Elena are eating in their room and for Alaude, you know he doesn't eat with everyone."

G sighed and signaled the chiefs to serve them their breakfast.

"Giotto-san not coming?" Tsuna asked a little bit sad that Giotto wasn't going to eat with them.

G shook his head "Nope, he's busy doing some work."

"Oh... But won't he get hungry?"

G smiled and patted Tsuna's head "Don't worry about it. He said he ate before he started to work." Tsuna smiled and nodded

"That's strange though, G. Doesn't Giotto usually try to hide from his work?" Asari asked while munching on his breakfast.

G ate some bacon and nodded "Yup, but not today." He swallowed the bacon "He's trying to make sure there's no paperwork today because of a certain 'thing' that he's going to be doing today."

"Thing...? Oh! You mean Giotto's and Tsuna's date!" Asari said, which made Tsuna blush bright red.

"It's not a date, Asari-san! Giotto-san and I are just hanging out, that's all!" Tsuna said very embarrassed.

"Oh sorry, Tsuna." Asari said "So it's for Giotto and Tsuna's hang out?"

"Yeah, he even got up 7 in the morning to finish his paperwork." G said and started to eat some bread

'Giotto-san is doing all of that just so we have time to be with each other.' Tsuna thought 'Then I can't just sit here and do nothing! I'll get ready too!' With that said Tsuna quickly finished his breakfast. Once he finished his breakfast, he got up and started to leave the room.

"Tsuna! Where are you going?" Asari called as the brunet was leaving.

"I'm going to get ready!" Tsuna replied and then he was gone.

"Those two are going to very busy this morning." Asari said smiling.

"Yup." G said "Which reminds me, we have to get ready too." G got up from the table.

"We? Who's also getting ready?" Asari said and stood up too.

"We as in all of us. We're going to follow Giotto and Tsuna through there date." G said blankly and walked out of the halls with Asari following behind.

"G, you do know about personal space, right? Or maybe privacy?" Asari said "Why would we need to follow them?"

"For two reasons. One, to make sure that they're alright. Date or not, we must protect Giotto and Tsuna. And two, we're going to make sure their date is a success and that it's interesting" G explained

"Haha, so that's what you're planning." Asari said in amusement.

"Yup, now come on we have to get everyone ready. We have to tell them and made a disguises so Giotto and Tsuna don't recognize us." G said

Asari nodded "Alright!" And they both split up to tell the rest of the guardians and Elena.

Meanwhile Tsuna was running through the halls until he came across a certain door 'If I remember correctly this should be the place.' Tsuna thought and knocked on the door.

A few seconds later, the door opened revealing Daemon.

"Is there something you need, Tsunayoshi?" Daemon asked

Tsuna nodded "I was wondering if I could talk to Elena-nee."

Daemon smiled and nodded "Okay, wait here." Daemon said and closed the door for a second to get Elena. It didn't really take long before Elena opened the door and smiled brightly at Tsuna.

"What can I do for my little brother?" She said excitedly

Tsuna sweat dropped at her excitement, but still returned her smile "Umm... I was wondering if you could help me pick out some clothes for Giotto and me dat- I m-mean hang out." Tsuna said blushing at the end.

Elena nodded and smiled at Tsuna's small embarrassment "Alright, I'll help. I'll bring you to our grand closet." Elena said and stepped out of the room and started to walk through the halls "Come on, follow me!" Tsuna nodded and followed.

They went up two floors and then stopped when they reached a room with two doors for the entrance. The two stepped into the room, Tsuna stared in awe at the by room filled with so much clothing.

Elena smiled "Most of these clothes won't fit you, but there are some clothes that were for Lampo a few years back that should fit you." Elena said and walked towards a line of clothing "It should be in this spot, so let's get started!"

Tsuna nodded and they began their clothes search. After about an hour of their clothes search, and a few clothing incidences, Elena picked out a short sleeve blue T-shirt, tan colored short, and an orange sleeved jacket with a white base.

"Thank you, Elena-nee!" Tsuna said when he received the clothes.

"You're welcome, Tsuna-chan" Elena said and then saw the door open. G walked in.

"Hey" G greeted "Tsuna is it okay if I take Elena for a little bit? I need to talk to her."

Tsuna nodded "It's okay, I was about to leave to change into these clothes." Tsuna said and moved towards the door "Again thank you, Elena-nee! Bye"

G and Elena waved good bye and when they heard the door close, they got straight to the point.

"Okay, so we're going to spy on Giotto and Tsuna's date to make sure everything is a success, you in?" G said

"Of course!" Elena answered

"Good, now we need disguises, could you get them ready?" G asked

Elena nodded "Won't take me long."

"Alright" G said and left to check on Giotto.

As G was coming closer to the blonde's study, he heard a loud shriek. Panicking, G rushed to the office and opened the doors to see... a smiling Giotto.

"What the hell was the scream for?" G asked annoyed.

"I finished my paperwork! And what's better it that it's for today and tomorrow!" Giotto said happily.

"Seriously?" G asked in disbelief and was responded with a nod "Well, at least you finished your paperwork for once."

"Yup, now if you'll excuse me, G, I need to get ready for my date with Tsunayoshi~" Giotto said cheerfully and stood up "Oh yeah, G, can you tell Tsunayoshi to wait for me downstairs?" G nodded "Thanks, I'll be going now." And with that said Giotto left the office to his room.

In his room, Giotto went to his closet and took out a white dress shirt, a pinstripe vest and pants for him to wear. He took a quick shower and got dressed. After getting fully dressed, Giotto took one last look at the mirror to make sure everything was in order. Deeming himself presentable, Giotto left the room and went to the entrance of the castle, where he met up with his beloved Tsuna and guardians plus Elena.

"Oh, there you are Giotto-san" Tsuna said and smiled "That looks good on you."

Giotto returned the smile "Thank you, and might I say you look good too." Giotto said "Absolutely adorable!"

Tsuna blushed and played with the hem of his jacket as he gave a shy smile "Thank you"

Giotto chuckled at Tsuna's action and walked towards the door "Now then why don't we get going. If we stay here too long we won't have time to view everything." Giotto said and opened the door. Tsuna nodded and walked outside. Before Giotto followed after, he said "We'll be back as soon as we can. Good bye everyone."

The rest nodded and waved good bye to Giotto and Tsuna until the door closed. When the door closed they waited about a minute and then they sprang into action. They changed into their disguises and also left the castle, following Giotto and Tsuna from a safe distance away.

As they followed behind Giotto and Tsuna, there was only one thought in their mind.

'Operation Giotto and Tsuna's date commence!'

*By the way if anyone is wondering why 6 rooms instead of 7 it's because Mukuro didn't want Chrome to be alone in her own room.

A/n: So, I hoped you all enjoyed the chapter. Also I made an short omake because I thought it would be fun and I kinda wanted to do something for making you all wait for, I don't know, about four weeks for updating so enjoy!

Short Omake: Clothing Incidences with Tsuna and Elena

Tsuna and Elena continued to search through the clothes for something Tsuna could wear during Giotto's and his date. As they continued to search, Elena thought of an idea when she laid her eyes on a piece of clothing.

"Hey, Tsuna-chan! Why don't you wear this for your date?" Elena said and showed the clothing.

"Hm? What do you thi- NO! No way! I'm not wearing that!" Tsuna shouted. What Elena was holding was a mahogany colored dress with a frilly hem and ends of the sleeves and a scarf-like ribbon on the chest area.

"Aww! But come on! I think it'll suit you nicely!" Elena said "You'll look really cute!"

"No way! I'm a guy and that's a dress!" Tsuna said and started to become red with embarrassment.

"But Giotto might like it!" Elena said

"..." Tsuna thought for a moment and then said "I-I still don't want to wear that in public!"

"Okay, fine, you won't wear it in public..." Elena said in defeat "Thank-" Tsuna said, but was interrupted when Elena continued "You'll wear it here!"

Tsuna stared at Elena for a moment and was about to deny her, but again before he could Elena said "Come on, Tsuna-chan! No one will see you. Both of us are the only ones here. Just wear a few dresses and I'll stop and we'll go back to looking for something you'll actually wear, okay?"

Tsuna stared at Elena again before sighing "Okay... but only a few."

Elena nodded and then started to dress Tsuna in many skirts and dresses. Then after a while, they went back to searching for real clothes that Tsuna was going to wear. Unfortunately for Tsuna, while he was semi-forced to wear the dresses, Elena took photos of him in every one of them.
