Corin: Hello! Here's the next chapter!

46: Sorry for not updating, life's been busy.

Corin: This chapter takes place when Alec and Zach are 16 and Belle is 14.

46: Now, Allons-y!

Corin: PS: This chapter was written by 46 and edited by me.

Alec's POV (Not Malec Alec)

"You're doing it wrong." I yelled across the training room.

Zach looked at me in frustration, "Okay, let's see you do it, if you can do it so well."

I smirked and went to the centre of the training room, and did the back flip perfectly, I stood up from my crouch and smirked at Zach. "I told you, you were doing it wrong." Zach glared at her and I smirked wider. "I know! Let's practice knife throwing!"

"But I want to practice running!" Zach said, so childish.

I looked at him, "You just want to be a wolf don't you?" Zach nodded, I rolled my eyes. "Fine, let's go."

"Okay. You only won because you were a wolf." I panted. Running with Zach was fun, we didn't have to wait for anyone, and we knew how each other's mind worked, we were perfect. As partners, of course. To be honest, the thought was slightly depressing. Because I knew we could never be more than friends.

I sighed, Zach looked at me, "What's the matter?" His voice held some concern.

I shrugged, "nothing, I was just thinking about practicing some flippy flop stuff…" I lied.

"Flippy flop stuff? Okay. I'm just not going to ask." He looked back at the trees around us, we had ran farther then I thought, and we now had a long walk back to the Institute. Sigh.

Somehow, don't ask me how, I don't remember it happening, I fell. Onto Zach. Who also fell. Awkward. Now we were on the ground. Really awkward. I had never really noticed his eyes before, how they had green flecks in them, multiple different shades of brown… They were beautiful. There was an emotion glittering in them. An emotion I couldn't read. An emotion I recognized. I watched as his eyes flickered to my lips, then back to my eyes, I leaned in slightly and our lips brushed together lightly. That's when I came back to my senses, I pushed myself off of him quickly.

"By the Angel, I'm sorry… I didn't mean to…"

"Alec-"

"I'm sorry, Zach. It won't happen again."

"No, Alec, lis-"

"No. I know what you're going to say." And with that, I turned and ran the way we had just come, ran from the kiss, ran from him, just ran. Until I couldn't.

Belle's POV

"Belle. Wait." I whipped around and looked at Simon. He always had to do that. Be an arrogant jerk. Always had to be better than everyone else. Always had to be… Him…

"Why?" I stared at my Parabatai, waiting for an answer, "I thought so."

I turned around and started walking away again, "I know you like him. Ethan, I mean." Simon called.

I froze and turned to him, "I don't know what you're talking about." I said, forcing my voice to be calm.

He took a step towards me, "It's obvious, in the way you act around him," another step, "how you follow him with your gaze," another step." I'm not blind, Belle." He whispered that time.

I smirked, "Really. I'm not blind either dear brother, I see the way you look at Elliot. Mooning over him, wishing he could be yours," he looked nervous. Good. "Maybe, I should just tell the poor boy, tell him, that you love him. "

"Belle. Stop." Simon said.

I didn't, "I could tell everyone, I could tell mom and dad about everything. I could rat you out." I grinned evilly. I was so mad nothing mattered. Not Simon's stunned expression or the fact that he could tell everyone my secrets. "I can make your life hell." I could imagine what I looked like, eyes burning, mouth curled into a cruel smile. And worst of all, I didn't feel guilt at his expression, I didn't feel anything.

Not a thing.

Corin: Oooooh! Belle, girl! She's got some sociopathic tendencies.

46: Just slightly.

Corin: We'll be updating within the next 2 weeks.

46: See you guys then!
